Red Chili is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the East Bay! Their food is very flavorful, fresh, and authentic to my taste buds. I've tried a lot of items on the menu, and whether I've dined in or had takeout, this place never disappoints! My go-to's are the Roti Canai (an absolute must!) for the appetizer, Panag Curry with chicken, pineapple fried price, and lemon grass beef. There are plenty of other delicious options, so try them at your leisure! As for the pho and some of the other Vietnamese dishes, it's good, but not my favorite. In other words, if you're craving pho and your squad is already here, go for it. It's consistent and delicious enough, but I come here for the Thai food specifically. Overall, you'll get your South East Asian cravings completely satisfied one way or another. They have a large indoor dining area which I've never seen full but moderate filled. The service is fine, prices are fair considering it's 2020's. Have at it!

My wife and I have been here a few times now and they always deliver great fresh food and good customer service. When you order in the food is delivered to your table hot and fresh! My new favorite is vegan pad thai and we also get mango this time with tofu!

The door would not close for some reason, so it was cold outside. The food was good and at a reasonable price.

We have enjoyed Red Chili for years. Haven’t eaten here in a while and after ordering their Pad Thai we realized they add small dehydrated shrimp to it. We have eaten the same dish here and other places. Have never seeing this before.

One of my favorite Thai-Vietnamese restaurant in Bay Area. This is a hidden gem in Hayward on mission Blvd. Great food, amazing staff and lots of options for vegetarian and non vegetarians. They have small parking in from but they do have extra parking space in back. My favorite is Tom Yong soup , yellow curry , red curry, green curry, pineapple fried rices . Their portion size is great and you will never be disappointed being vegetarians one has large number of options and you will be delighted. Only thing-they have to work on is ventilations from all cooking and dining room.

My parents love this place, I on the other hand have had mixed experiences. The food is good, let’s start there, that the one thing I gotta be clear about, it consistently good. The service and upkeep of the place, not so much. For example, there were at least 5 instances where we asked for a refill, an additional plate, or something of the sort, and we always had to remind them even though the place only had 3 tables with people at the time. Also, the high chairs are oily and dirty. They seem to not clean them after every use or at least at the end of the day. So to recap, food is good, service needs work.

Great food 👍 people are friendly. However, some food, like some appetizers are getting less and more pricey. Parking 🅿️ is ridiculous. Absolutely no parking available in the back during busy hours. You can’t really park in the Burger King area. Restaurant is nice whenever there’s no party, because absolutely no parking and atmosphere of the restaurant is very noisy and loud.

Parking isn't bad, very little up front but there is a good amount behind the restaurant. Service is overall good, they are friendly and fast. The food is good, but it isn't great. Relative to other Thai restaurants I've been too the food is not nearly as good. However, this place is still not bad and if I'm in the area and need some Thai food this would be the place to go. The overall look and feel of the place is nice, good atmosphere. No booth seating.

Very bad Castmer service People they just don’t want to serve they start announcing on lunchtime at 2 PM. We are close. I seen myself. They turn back four people. We are close people don’t expect that when your time is 2:30. They expect to be served by 2:30 or you can change your Sign after 2 PM pick up only that will people have a mind before they come to your place. People got upset who drive therefore like 20 to 30 minute or hour to be. Eat at your place when you got turned down that is very upsetting

Ordered seafood rice noodle soup. There are literally two shrimps, two fish balls and two small pieces of squid. It's priced at $18, which I would expect a little more than that. The food is also not fresh. The bean sprouts are not fresh, with black spots. Lemon looks like it was cut a few days ago. I'll definitely avoid this place. Never come back again.

This is my first visit to Red Chili Thai. I ordered green curry (med spice), brown rice, and pad thai. The only reason I am giving 1 star is because I waited less than 10mins from the time I ordered to the time the food arrived on my table. Very fast! However if you're expecting customer service with a smile or the wait staff to acknowledge you're there, this is not the place for you. No one ever smiled or thanked me or asked how my meal was or tended to me beyond taking my order and bringing my food. The food was mediocre, nothing special. The atmosphere was annoying and loud. The patrons let their kids be loud and misbehave which led me to believe they have little respect for this place. When I was first seated, the waitress sloppily cleared a table for me, leaving food on the table and a used napkin and fork on the floor by my feet. Luckily, the other waitress that brought my silverware and water picked them up. As I waited for my food and observed the rest of the restaurant, it was obvious why the staff had very little time for customer service. The waitresses are multi-tasking, acting as the hostess, bussing tables, taking orders, and taking payment. I used the bathroom and it was very run down and dingy. There didn't seem to be any pride or cleanliness of ownership in this place. The food was averagely priced and the parking was convenient but I'm grasping at straws to find any other positives. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
