Sichuan Garden is praised for its authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine, with many reviewers calling it the best in town. The spicy dishes are a highlight, and portion sizes are generous. Service is generally attentive and friendly. A few found the dim sum bland.

Hosted Lunar New Year party of 50 people in Sichuan Garden with my best friend. It went very well. The owner allowed us to decorate the party room a day before and we had a blast. The food were cooked well although there are a couple of other parties going on at Lunar New Years Eve which is Chinese New Year 🧧 Eve. Chinese New Year is the Lunar new year 🧧 that has been celebrated in most of Asian countries for thousands of years. Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, China. We had 12 course meals family style party. The jumping fish, braised pork, flat noodle with beef are the best of the best dishes in my humble opinion. The general Zou’s chicken is also a popular one. Book your next party there. Using the picture I posted. I promise you will like those food!
best food taste and service, we ordered spicy crispy and twice pork belly. the waiter name is KiKy ,she took care of our drinks and satisfied with our food. will always come back to this restaurant. and you know they also provide a big room for big events, all kinds of wine and beer . The best restaurant in texas
Another great surprise. My friend mentioned this place in a conversation and so while I was running around with another friend we happen to be right around there and I suggested it and I'm so glad I did! Walked right in and sat down. Service was A+. I could not stop drinking the tea you know how I love the tea when it's good tea and this was good tea. Tried the potstickers the only thing that was wrong with those was that I had to share them LOL. This friend and I thoroughly enjoyed those. And that little sauce that comes with them was great. My friend had the orange chicken and they said it was fantastic I did taste the sauce and I was like wow that's a real orange sauce LOL. I know it's weird to sound surprised about an orange sauce that tasted like an orange sauce but you know what I'm talking about. This actually seemed like it had orange zest. Fresh orange zest. Yum. I tried the jalapeno chicken. I didn't even want to swallow it I just wanted to keep it in my mouth and play with it across my tongue. Okay that was Major but it was really that good. I already know I'm coming back and it's going to be really hard for me not to have that jalapeno chicken. The lunch special was just under $10 and that came with the soup, fried rice and tea. Fried rice was not any different than most places that include fried rice in the meal. I always put the ginger sauce, or the sauce that comes with the potstickers on the fried rice and it pumps up the volume. The egg roll that we were expecting was more of a spring roll, don't know if that's just what happens at lunch or if that's actually what they consider an egg roll. Either way it was very good. We both had the egg drop soup. Loved it. A bit thicker than most, the way I think it should be. Food could have been a little bit hotter. Just a personal preference. But overall a great meal. I already put it in my calendar for the next available meal LOL
Low frills Chinese food place. Good, hot Chinese food, fast service served family style. Generous portions. It has to be at least decent when you see Asian people coming into eat or get takeout from there.
I would vote this place as the best Chinese restaurant in town. Perfect dishes in all category. (Seasoning, heat level and presentation) Not every Chinese restaurant have chef knows how to cook right. Trust me this restaurant has ....
This place is awesome for a quick and delicious Chinese food fix! The service is super friendly and always speedy, which is perfect for a lunch break. They have so many cool and interesting dishes on the menu, you'll never get bored. Seriously, their lunch specials are a total steal. I highly recommend checking them out if you're craving some tasty eats.
We had friends dinner get together and everyone decided to have personal hotpot. For $30/person and all you cant eat..it's really worth it. They have more than 4 soup base to choose and the taste was very authentic. The owner even helped to serve us to make every one has the soup base refilled. I ordered Chinese Herbal Soup Base, and tons of meats and veggies. We will be back for sure.
Let me start by saying that we decided to make our visit on Christmas day. It wasn't overly busy when we got there, but you could see that staff was running around trying to make sure everything was operating smoothly. Our food came out in what seemed more like stages, which was great for us because the meals are large enough to share and that's what we did. The food was amazingly good and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. We will definitely be returning.
Authentic Chinese cuisine for dang sure. They have some really good options for food. I got the hunan chicken with pork Xiao long bao. So yummy and delicious. Service is great and it’s actually Chinese owned and ran. Would highly recommend this place. I wanna try something else next week and see what’s good with other dishes. Seriously, they have a vast menu.
My husband and I were driving up the road to find something for lunch. He wanted burgers but I saw this place and wanted to stop in. I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious! Perfect serving size portions. Service was great! Our waitress was very attentive. I had the chicken and broccoli and ordered an appetizer of the wontons. I think that's what they were called. Either way, good was good! I'll definitely be back again.
Visited this place midweek in the early afternoon. It's located in a fairly large shopping center but you need to be looking for it. The interior is large, kinda' austere and filled with tables. There were people eating, but it was not crowded. The employees are all Oriental / Chinese. There was also a chalk marked-up menu written in an oriental language. The menu was extensive including the lunch menu. The prices during the lunch period was $10.99 including free tea and a choice of several sides. The food was tasty and the quantity was excellent. The restrooms and the interior were very clean. Although I'm no connoisseur of Chinese food, I have no issues recommending this place for a great lunch. See photos for additional information.
Monday through Saturday lunch specials until 3pm $10.50 includes tea, soup rice and egg roll. Dim sum available until 5 pm Oolong , jasmine or green tea available. They have duck 🦆, chicken 🐓 feet, beef tripe and frog 🐸 legs. Seasonal and posted on menu boards. Service is attentive, didn’t have to signal. No booths but a few family style tables with lazy Susan carousel for the food. I like this place when food is pharmacy and a hot pot is warranted.
### Mixed Experience at Sichuan Garden First time here, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. The place, including the restrooms, were clean and well-maintained. The waiters were pleasant. However, before our food came out, one of the staff members asked my sister and husband to move their baby to another seat because that’s where they serve, which was very odd and rude. The egg drop soup and crispies could use some improvement, but the main dishes were very good. We had General Tso’s chicken (both spicy and non-spicy), lemon chicken, sesame chicken, white rice, and fried rice. We were very happy with the food, and the portions were generous. Overall, a mixed experience.
Authentic Chinese food! The menu offers a variety of tasty authentic dishes. So far all the dishes I have had there are wonderful and some a very spicy. The service is excellent. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The wine selection could improve a bit. All in all, I'm sure I will visit many more times.
Taste is subjective. But for me this is the best Chinese food I've found in SA. Very good food. 2 complaints, Small portions, and no lunch special price on weekends. I would recommend this place, every time i eat here im happy i did.
This place has definitely been underrated on google maps. It surpasses a 4 star rating. The food is amazing and the flavours are outstanding. The tofu with black bean sauce and veg fried rice is delicious. Do be aware that the Sichuan spice is quite pungent and numbs your mouth while you’re eating. Highly recommend visiting this place. Budget around 35$ per person.
Came here to try their new dim sum menu, unfortunately alot of what we wanted they did not have on this day. What few we did try were okay, but for some reason lacked flavor, a little bland . The lunch items we tried were pretty good compared to most Chinese lunch items offered anywhere else. The service was excellent for as busy as they were. We'll try them again. Alot of customers were trying their hot pot items which looked really good. 😉
This has been our go-to restaurant for Christmas dinner for over a decade. Tonight though they refused to seat us, saying our group was too big (9 people). We offered to sit at 2 separate tables with 2 separate checks and they still refused. But the multiple groups ahead and behind us weren’t a problem. Definitely won’t be back. Ever.
