They did a surprise soft opening on Thursday, January 20th. This allowed us to meet the owners, management, and the staff—all of which were very courteous and full of positive energy! This place will be successful! This new location has a lot better layout than the other San Antonio locations in terms of the interior and the drive thru. The teas were delicious (specifically, Blueberry Green) as always and the fruit was ultra fresh! It was a great experience! Highly recommend!

I LOVE tea! And HTeaO is thee spot! We went inside this visit and asked ourselves why we hadn’t the first time. I sampled many of the teas, particularly the unsweetened cause here’s the thing. If the tea is good unsweetened it’s going to be amazing sweetened. I left with an unsweetened tea completely un concocted. Next time I’m going to give a sweet tea a go and add to it.

So far, so good. Went for a Jumbo the other day. Went for a gallon for tonight so I don’t have to keep going back while I study. I read reviews before I review and some of the reviews seem to complain about young staff. While the girl at the window asked us to repeat our order back to her, she still gave us our correct order. Sometimes young people are still experiencing what it’s like to do rush orders and are still organizing everything in their head and getting used to the job. Maybe lazy San Antonio can invest a little bit more time into training the employees to combat the negative reviews. If it were my staff, I’d call them in for 1/2 pay paid training and time them on a simulated fast order. This will help them learn how to handle things during a rush. These kids have homework, too. Give them a break. We can always make our own tea but we’re clearly too lazy or too busy to, so…. Thanks for the teas! So far, they taste great! Colossians 3:23

I am obsessed with tea so I knew I had to check this place out. There are so many different tea flavors to try. If you’re not sure which one you want, it’s okay, you can sample the teas! Top favorites for us? Sweet mint, coconut, Georgia peach, and the mango. Of course the regular sweet tea is incredible too. The workers were patient and kind and explained the process. Bonus, there is even fresh fruit to put in the tea for an added price. I’ll be back. You can even get gallons to go and of course I did that, because, duh. My daughter is obsessed with the crushed ice they have and says it goes perfectly with the tea. So stop in! Or use the drive thru. You won’t be disappointed.

Great selection of ice tea. It was our first time and they let you sample the flavors inside. The clerk showed us around and was really helpful with questions. We will definitely be back!

If you haven't tried it you are missing out. They also have a drive- thru and convenient handicap parking.

First time visit. I liked the little cups to sample the variety of different flavored teas. I took home a gallon of Ryan Palmer Tea. Not just a drink, but was a great taste to start the morning in the office. Will need to get more tea.

HTeaO Review: A First-Time Visit I recently visited HTeaO for the first time, and while there were some standout positives, my experience left much to be desired. To start with the good: the store was spotless, well-organized, and had an impressive variety of teas to choose from. They also offered some unique items for sale that caught my eye, giving the place a fresh, modern feel. The environment was inviting, and I could see why HTeaO has gained popularity among tea enthusiasts. However, as a first-time customer, the lack of customer engagement was disappointing. Despite the store being fully staffed and no other customers present, we were not acknowledged once during our visit. No one greeted us, asked if we needed help, or even checked in to see if we were finding everything okay. It felt as though we were invisible—“ghosted,” if you will. Ultimately, this lack of interaction diminished what could have been a great first impression. While the tea selection was impressive, customer service is a key part of the experience, especially for new visitors who may need guidance. By the end of our visit, we left feeling overlooked and unwelcomed. I hope this was just an off day for the staff, as HTeaO has a lot of potential. I would consider giving it another try, but I’d encourage the team to step up their engagement with customers—after all, it’s the personal touch that makes a brand memorable.

It wasn't the same feel, usually the smell in here is intoxicating but I smelled more of urine than their tea . Was extremely grossed out with their pre portion fruit add ins, that you have to pay extra mind you . Almost all of their produce was expired . Such as cucumbers, lemons , berries . Counters were sticky and their restroom was very disgusting, I can see it hasn't been maintained. We do love the tea there but today it was just not the same feel .

Love the free gallon teas with the HEB coupons. Bathrooms looked like they haven't been touched in weeks. No paper towels no hand sanitizer no soap and toilet seat has pee all over it. Not posting pictures because I like this place. Awesome tea though

All of the employees were all huddled together in the back just talking. Even once they noticed that people were in the store, the expressions on their faces said everything. At checkout was not asked if I had rewards or anything.

I had a disappointing experience with HTeaO's customer support. I submitted a support ticket on August 10th through their website about a significant issue with their unsanitary customer restroom at this location. The problem was not resolved by employees or the manager on duty when I addressed it in store same day. So I moved on to submitting a ticket through their corporate system. After not hearing back, I followed up on August 14th. It has now been 12 days since my initial contact, and I still have not received a response. It's frustrating that a company would not address a customer issue, especially after multiple attempts to contact them privately. I had hoped to resolve this directly, but since my attempts have been ignored, I'm sharing my experience publicly. This lack of communication and disregard for customer concerns is unacceptable.

On 7/26/25, I visited the location on Alamo Parkway and was refused service by Adrian. The posted hours are 9:05om on the door, window, and google. We arrived to the drive thru at 8:58pm. The vehicle before us was served and we were denied service. I even walked into the store while my husband remained in the csr in the drive thru to ensure the intercom was not turned off. But was still denied service. We have visited the store and previously verified the odd closing time so to be told "No" when were in line before 9pm is unacceptable!
