Great food and service! My husband and I got the paradilla for two. It came with beans and rice on two plates and a big plate that had steak and chicken with peppers and onions. My daughter had a combination plate with cheese enchiladas, a puffy chicken taco, rice and beans. We all shared warm flour tortillas ( my favorite). I highly recommend Sazon for a good meal.

By far the best Mexican food I've had in YEARS. Since I live in Colorado, the Mexican food here isn't as good as Midwestern/South Central States. Let me individually rate these items. Cheese Enchiladas : So good! Comes so close to my hometown enchiladas. Flavorful, but has the best cheese pull by far. So decadent. Refried Beans : So flavorful! I don't even like beans and I still enjoyed the little portion of beans I sampled from my family's plate. Brown Rice : So good! The rice is super flavorful and it kind of melts in your mouth. By far the best Mexican Rice I have had in a while. Lettuce and Tomatoes : I did not eat the tomatoes as I hate tomatoes. Lettuce was just.. lettuce, nothing special. Fresh and juicy I'll say that. Red Salsa : It was good but not really enjoyable. Not a good kind of spice where you can taste the flavor and still feel heat but just plain hot. But also, I had a low spice tolerance so my opinion doesn't matter for this food. Chips : Good! Fresh, great crunch! Doesn't taste store bought. Has a nice lime tang to it! Flour Tortillas : Yum! Regardless, this was a delicious meal and I am so happy I got to experience some true flavor after no flavor Colorado. (No shade.)

I've been a patron of Sazon for over a decade. They by far have the best tortilla soup in San Antonio! We went on a cold day for lunch and the soup and caldo de pollo did NOT disappoint. Service and atmosphere are are also 5 stars!

Today we came in for breakfast. We had the huevos rancheros with carne guisada , pancakes, nachos with beef fajitas, a piña colada, mimosa and a top shelf Margarita. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tortillas were fresh and the food was very flavorful. I absolutely loved my mimosa! It was not too sweet but you could taste the pineapple and coconut. Also, the huevos ranchero plate was very good. My only harsh critique is that the potatoes are not seasoned at all. They were cooked very weak but no flavor so that was a little upsetting. Additionally, our waiter was so pleasant! Her name was Millie and she was great! Kudos to her and her amazing service!

Been here twice and the food and service were great both times. The location is convenient. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seats and short wait times. Food is priced right and portions were more than enough. They have several new members in their wait staff so please be patient, they are learning as this place just hired a bunch. Comparable to a Mama Margie's or Las Palapas. We'll be back!

I had fish tacos there. The cabbage topping was excellent, the Pollock tasty. I just would have liked the option for fried instead of grilled. Good selection of sides. I highly recommend the lentils.

Flavor: B Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: B I saw a post with a picture of someone’s plate from this place and knew I needed to try it. And I do love a combination plate with enchiladas and fajitas. The best of both worlds! I thought the enchiladas were really good but I would’ve wished for more flavor in the fajitas. This place was super busy even at a non-meal time so be prepared for a wait.

Went for lunch on a Sunday around 12. The place was busy. We had about a ten minute wait. I was expecting it to be a longer wait considering all the people that were there. (You can also order to go or call in a to go order). Free chips and salsa. We had the tortilla soup, menudo, beef enchilada plate and cilantro cream enchilada plate, we also had flour and corn tortillas a soda and tea. The food was very good. The sweet tea was not that good. The price was reasonable about 30$. The service was quick. And our waitress was attentive. The only reason I did not give this place five stars is because my husband and I ended up with upset stomachs by the end of the night, and even though we didn't eat anything else, I'm not sure if it was the food or something else. I will probably go back and give this place another try because the food was really good.

I love this place however I wish your hours were longer and earlier. Folks have to be at work before 8 and don't get out until 5. It's unfortunate you're losing clientele.

Went to have breakfast with my husband on Tuesday October 28,2025. And ordered an omelet, it looked so good. Taking a closer look when I'm about to cut it, I noticed a hair on my omelet. So gross and disgusting, i told the waitress my food has hair, and she grabbed the plate and said I'll bring u a new one. I took a picture so I can confirm they made me a new one. But, guess what, u could tell they just took the hair off. To me it looked like the same omelet just cooked more then the earlier one they gave me. I didn't even want to eat it. Guess what, when my husband went to go pay the bill and we were in the car, I asked him did they take off the omelet meal. He told me NO, and I asked him did they at least give u a discount and he said NO. is this how you treat your customers 🤔 I won't be coming back so disappointed If they would have made things right then maybe i would have came back. I know accidents happened but a mistake was made and they should have at least given us a discount or something. 😔 I have the picture but for some reason I can't post it to show u the hair on my omelet.

We came for lunch today 8/2/25. I’m updating my review to drastically lower it due to the quality of food we got today. The overall quality has totally gone downhill. Fajitas were bland and the peppers really mushy. I ended up ordering enchiladas instead. Enchiladas were smaller and flavorless. Had red tortillas last time this time they were white. I ordered strawberry margarita again and the large size had hardly any flavor added to it. My smaller one last time had so much more. After today’s experience I don’t think we’ll come back and I won’t recommend it anymore. I’m treating it to 2 ⭐️⭐️ Something has changed and I notice the overall rating is down as well. Spoke to our server about everything. I don’t like writing reviews like this unless I give the restaurant an opportunity to fix it, and they opted not to. He just said he’d let the manager know. Bathrooms also needed attention. Paper towels were all over in the ladies restroom. Toilets were dirty. ——————————————————————————— BEST Mexican food I’ve had in the 4 years I’ve lived in San Antonio. The restaurant is clean. The place was very busy but we were seated within a few minutes. We looked over the menu while waiting. We were able to decide what we were going to get. Many of us ordered the enchiladas. I ordered the “Enchiladas de Cilantro”. We also ordered the queso for an appetizer and tried both kinds of salsa (we ended up mixing them together). The prices are great!! Generous portions. The margarita was amazing. All dinners came with tortillas on the side. Fabulous service. We will be back for sure and will recommend to all friends. ⭐️ 10/10 ⭐️

Server never came to our table to fill our glasses. We had to ask the bus boy for a to go box and bag. We waited for 30 minutes for our food after we placed our order and asked our server 2 times about our food and she never acknowledged. When I asked about military discount she said it was only for active duty- we all deserve the same credit- military discount is for all weather you are active/retired, a military ID is a military ID we all should get the same respect.
