Evil Twin Brewery is praised for its unique greenhouse taproom, extensive beer selection (especially IPAs and sours), and friendly staff. The atmosphere is great for conversation. Occasional slow service is a downside. Resident cat Marlon is a plus!

Best brewery experience I’ve had in NYC thus far. The space is open, welcoming, and great music. They feature multiple foeder aged lagers and Lukr faucets which are harder to find in Brooklyn than you might imagine. The staff all seem to have a good time working there which is a good indicator that the place has both good energy and product. I’d recommend to any craft beer folks in the area. I did notice some off flavors in their old world styles but the combined experience made up for it.
Amazing craft beer. From hazy IPAs to Sour Ales and Triple IPAs. Chill environment. You can bring your own food. They also sell pizza and most recently a new burger cart. Omg. The most amazing burger I’ve had in a while. Fresh and tasty. The cook is so nice and fun. Great combo: beer & burgers! Fries were also super good.
Still a great place to stop. Quality beer and a nice selection of indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped in on a trip between Long Island and Delaware. I have had some of their stuff other places so I new they made quality beer. I was not disappointed. They are located in a cool greenhouse structure in Queens. They have a lot of room given the area. I had mostly IPA's, Stouts, and a cinnamon vanilla barleywine. Everything was delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was that since it was right after Christmas their to go options were extremely limited. I hope to be back.
Great beer in a fun neighborhood where I can actually also park! Nice clean building with outdoor seating in a block I wouldn’t expect it however it did not disappoint. Large beer selection, Claudia’s taco food truck and Doozies pizza as well. Lots happening here. Very chill vibe. Great staff and service! Worth the trip from Manhattan and for ease there is an L train line stop on the corner doesn’t get easier for those who don’t want to drink and drive.
Gave this place a try on an early afternoon, and wow! How have these brews not been on my radar for so long?! They have an impressive line up, especially if you’re into IPAs which are delicious and quite potent. But they do offer them in three sizes to allow you to try more. Nice casual vibe, friendly service, and great beers. What’s not to love?
What's not to love? Exciting beers in an incredible greenhouse with both indoor and outdoor seating, not to mention the awesome bartenders. And if you're lucky, you might get to see Evil Twin's resident cat, Marlon. I can't recommend the brewery enough. Give it a shot if you haven't already.
Where I can start? It's a unbelievable experience of taste from the beers that they are making. You can find many styles from lager to a TIPA. And the the hard seltzer are available for the people that doesn't like beer. The place is really nice and they have a lot of space. Recommend 100%
Decent size outdoor seating space, and clean indoor space. they have so many interesting flavor beer and I enjoyed trying out all kind of funky name drinks to find own favorites. IPA/Sour beer is popular these days, but they have plenty non sour beer choices, so I am sure everybody can find your favorite from here (I am not fun of IPA/Sour beer). My favorite is Root Beer & Concrete jungle punch (Both of them tasted like juice 😘)
We visited from Chile, my boyfriend is a fan of Evil Twin beer so it was on our bucket list. The place is cozy, they have a great variety of beers, for all tastes and good prices. Outside there ir a food truck, very tasty. The attention was super friendly, they gave us a lot of stickers (thanks!), and we buy some glasses and t-shirt.
I was very excited to check this place out after visiting from Dallas over the weekend. Came in on Saturday night and enjoyed two beers. Not going to lie, I came in with pretty high expectations, but they were definitely met and exceeded. The tap room is just very pretty, and it's pretty spacious too. I was by myself, so after getting each beer I had to find a new seat, which is fine, wasn't hard at all. So even when they're busy, it seems like there's plenty of room. Beers were delicious, I had two stouts. Location is great if you want to do somewhat of a mini brewery hop. I'm excited to come back.
I've thought hard about this and I've made up my mind. Evil Twin just might be the best beers in NYC, if not beyond. Twenty beers on tap of numerous styles and none of them are any less than outstanding. The taproom itself is beautiful - a greenhouse with a modern rustic feel to it and a beergarden-like area just outside. The beers all have hilarious long names, which can be tricky given the LED ticker-style tap list, so you might want to go ahead and order by number. Apart from the superlative beer, the staff is friendly and hard-working. If you're looking to visit breweries in Brooklyn... Evil Twin is an absolute must.
Nice spot, I’ve been here a couple of times over the past two years. They have a great variety of beers, and the atmosphere is solid. The biggest downside is the service. It consistently takes 15–20 minutes just to get a beer, even on a Thursday. The bartender is doing her best, but it’s clear the place is short-staffed. Service could definitely be improved.
Families, be aware. This is not a kid-friendly place. Overall, this is a nice spot with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, one female bartender has repeatedly made it clear on multiple occasions that we are not welcome with our kids. She has approached us with attitude, telling us the kids are too loud or warning us not to let them make a mess. Slammed things around while pretending to clean near us. Our group was stunned and honestly speechless at what was happening. We kept hoping it was a one-time situation and that things would improve, but the tone hasn’t changed. It’s frustrating to feel unwelcome and disrespected for bringing our children, especially when the venue presents itself as family-friendly during certain hours. We’ve noticed similar feedback from others and truly hope this will change, because it has unfortunately become a hard pass for us.
Keep having a bad experience with this only female bartender, she is obviously not a big fan of small kids which is too bad because the parent community is probably bigger than any of their other clients. Gave it a few tries already but definitely won’t be back and if you are planning to go their with your kids, be warned if she is around.
