If you haven’t been to Tacombi in Long Island City yet, you’re seriously missing out! I had the shrimp taco and my boyfriend went with the pork taco both were absolutely bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like a flavor explosion, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. These tacos aren’t just good, they’re unforgettable. 🌮🔥 Our waitress, Nayelli, was so kind and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind laid-back, cozy, and it genuinely feels like you’re enjoying tacos in your own backyard, but with way better food. This spot is a 10/10. Whether you’re local or just visiting, Tacombi LIC should be on your must-try list. Trust me, once you try these tacos, you’ll be coming back again and again. Highly, highly recommend!

I had such a wonderful experience at Tacombi! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and the portions were very generous, which made it even better. Everything came out just right, and you can really taste the quality and care in each dish. What made the visit even more special was the service. Grace, the manager, is truly outstanding. She’s attentive, incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. It’s rare to see a manager who takes so much time to connect with guests, and she really goes above and beyond. Grace is honestly one of the best managers I’ve ever met — she made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. Sara, my server, was also amazing. She took the time to ask me about allergies and toppings, which shows how professional and thoughtful she is. She really knows her job and does it with so much care and kindness. She made the experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Overall, the combination of excellent food, warm atmosphere, and such a fantastic team made this visit memorable. Tacombi is lucky to have people like Grace and Sara, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is great if you want to grab a quick bite or even if you want to have long talks with friends. Margaritas were great- I'd recommend the Hibiscus Margarita, and the tacos taste great )ima. Hard critic with food) - I'd recommend BAJA fried fish. Our server was Sara she was super nice which I always appreciate 🤍

I hosted my HS reunion here and everything was just fantastic!!! Abu and the entire team was just a breeze to work with. They were extremely accommodating throughout the planning process and throughout the event that I hosted. They went above and beyond to ensure that the entire group felt taken care of. More so the food was absolutely amazing as always. I would 100% recommend Abu and his entire team for anyone that is either looking to dine in or I have a space for a large group of people.

I like to visit on Taco Tuesday when they have 2x1, is not the best place for tacos since it’s expensive and small portions… but anyways nyc doesn’t have good tacos, so is the “best” you can find.. service sometimes good sometimes bad, if you are craving tacos I recommend it but don’t expect too much

nothing particularly memorable. I ordered pork, beef, shrimp, and corn. The total came to about $25, which I personally felt was on the expensive side for what it was. I placed a to-go order, but it arrived after a party that came in later than me. There were only about three other people in the restaurant when I ordered, so if it was slow then, I worry about how long orders might take during peak times. I’ve been to the same branch on the Upper East Side, and the flavors are pretty much the same. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to come back, but I wouldn’t mind if someone else treated me to it.

Passing by Long Island city I spotted this nice Mexican restaurant on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Gave it a shot and it’s looking like another happy place. Place looks promising. Staff was very friendly and helpful 5 stars. I had 4 different tacos. They were tasty and good but I did not get any veggie sides or add ons to the taco. Overall food taste is 3.5 stars. I feel like their taste is something I would find at my local taco spot. The best one i had was the $9 rib eye taco. I feel like the look and vibe of this place must have a specialty or best seller item that I missed. I will ask next time and research too. Ima give it another shot and try other food they have. Had a pleasant time here. Love the aesthetics. Atmosphere is 5 stars

Amazing food guys and everything was great but I asked for green and red sauce before I left to make sure we had and you only gave us 1 red sauce for two burritos! Also the corn esquites wasn’t sealed at all and the warmth and liquids fell onto the bag and ripped a hole and all the corn fell out! Also we thought we were paying for a fresh horchata not a premade one. Overall great food but need more sauce and attention. All love.

Food was good, but definitely over priced. A quesadilla is not really a quesadilla it’s more like one single tortilla with toppings on top. Their horchata is pretty good, very authentic.

Food here is okay, not bad, not good. Not worth going out of your way for but will scratch the itch. The reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because I ordered for pick up at Tacombi. When I went to check on my order, they said it’ll be ready in a couple minutes. However, it took them AN HOUR afterward and I was standing there checking for my order. I kept asking for an estimated time to know whether I should just leave and come back. But they didn’t know. I finally got my food and most of it was cold. The manager did offer a free drink, which was nice. However, when I wanted to chat with him after, he just gave me the food and ran away immediately. That was extremely rude. Never coming back here again. Not a bad place if you’re dining in I assume but don’t ever do takeout here on a Friday.

Waited 45 minutes for a quesadilla and burrito for takeout. That being said, there was nothing inherently wrong with the service beyond the long wait for such little food (it wasn't a large group order) When I got home, I realized the portion sizes were tiny. The quesadilla was literally the side of a regular taco, except I paid $10 for it. The food tasted good, except it was done in two bites. I had to get more food somewhere else because I was still hungry a $25 order

Came in for lunch and was confused a bit with the multiple paper menus on the table. The server seemed to be a little slow and soft spoken so we couldn't really understand her. The tacos here are definitely overpriced and not authentic. Who charges $9.00 for a steak taco? In addition, a shrimp and fish taco costing $7? I got the masa crunch was basically an empanada with cheese made out of corn. The only good thing was the jalapeño sour cream. Their Birria taco was good but not as I would hope. We finished our bottle of water and the server never came over to refill the bottle of water. Definitely do not recommend this spot for authentic tacos and more so, these absurd prices. Flavor was lacking and portions are ridiculously small!!

short: great one & done spot, as in okay I checked it out but not going back kinda place long: I was invited by coworkers to have tacos and a drink. The place looks pretty cool, like a mechanic's garage converted into a restaurant. The place was almost full and it was only about 12:15pm. I like the big open space layout. I was very disappointed when my taco arrived. It looked like a tiny toy taco for a toddler. It was the size of a cute little taco, which would have been okay if I didn't pay the price of a premium full-size adult taco. It seemed like the entire thing had one small shrimp cut into three pieces. It tasted great. The drink: they could have served me seltzer water because that's what it seemed like to me. Not even the slightest buzz. I do not recommend this place: not for food, not for drinks.

I’ve ordered delivery before without problems, but this time my tacos came covered in mold. If something that obvious was overlooked, I can’t trust the sanitary standards there. Never ordering again.
