I totally enjoyed the smoothie bowl called Beach Bum that I tried for my first visit. It was a thoughtful and delicious blend with healthy ingredients and attractively arranged. I felt healthy eating it!

Incredible food and smoothie bowls. I love how easy it was to modify online with order ahead, and how my bowl didn’t taste fake sweet like a lot of juice places often are. A. True health food place with great options!

Delicious offerings and appears everything on the menu is very vegan friendly. Tried the Chai smoothie which was very yummy; mini garlic waffles with guacamole and balsamic side salad; Mini sweet cinnamon waffles with blueberries, almond butter, and side of chopped strawberries. Everything was delicious and well made. Also enjoyed all the compostable utensils and to go containers. The staff was pleasant, informative, and welcoming. Lots of space to sit down. Will check out their other locations to compare.

Bare blends is the definition of healthy. This was my first time here. This place reminds me NYC home away from home. The decorations are so nice here! There's a huge menu to choose from. Juice, bowls, smoothie,salads etc. I ordered a smoothie bowl made with pineapple, mango and coconut water with multiple toppings. This was so refreshing after a warm day. I would definitely come here again. Btw if you're vegan this place is for you too. Enjoy!

If you want food from here, I recommend pre ordering and not walking in, at least at noon. I ordered one sandwich with no modifications at 12:11 pm. I finally received it at 12:41. There were 4 people working their butts off. They were polite and friendly. It didn't look that busy in terms of customers in the building.

$18.90 for a bowl and a lemonade, it’s an extra $4.50 for granola on top, kinda ridiculous, cashier wasn’t that friendly

Love Bare! The staff are always friendly and kind However the location in Stuyvesant Plaza is always out of random ingredients and it looks like it causes the staff a lot of stress. Just today they were out of bananas, strawberries, mangoes and Peanut Butter which are main ingredients in many of their bowls. Multiples times they were out of blue spirulina . Looks like management could do a better job of ordering enough supplies.

I really wanted to love Bare Blends, especially since the concept is great and the ingredients are top-tier. But after a few visits, I feel like I can’t ignore how poorly managed this location seems to be. Every time I’ve gone, it feels completely chaotic. There’s no clear system for ordering—sometimes people who arrived way after me get their smoothies first, sometimes the staff looks confused about which order is whose. There’s no flow, and as a customer, you end up standing around awkwardly, wondering if you’ve been forgotten. What’s worse is how overwhelmed the employees seem. They’re clearly doing their best, but they look stressed and unsupported. I’ve seen staff visibly flustered, juggling multiple things with no help. It honestly feels like management has left them to sink or swim, and that’s not fair to them—or to customers. I genuinely feel bad for the workers, which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. They’re doing all they can, but better systems and actual leadership are desperately needed here. I hope this changes, because the potential is there—but right now, it’s a mess.

BARE is usually pretty good about getting orders right & making sure the smoothies are a good consistency. But today I ordered a Fiesta salad with extra buffalo tempeh. The salad came with one scoop of tempeh and a scoop of sweet potato (I didn’t order any sweet potato). For the dressing I chose Buffalo sauce but I got some ranch dressing packed up instead. My smoothie came with chunks of half-thawed strawberries at the bottom, it was not blended properly. All of this paired with 4 waffle toasties (which weren’t fully cooked in the center) cost about $60.00. The salad did taste good despite some wrong/missing ingredients. And so did the smoothie. But that’s a lot to pay for an incorrect order.

The first time I visited was a good experience, but the 2nd time I went in, my girlfriend and I found a bunch of tiny pieces of plastic in our bowls. I wasn’t going to say anything after finding the first or 2nd but we kept finding little bits so I figured I should voice it. They were very busy in this particular day, but that’s not an excuse for this sort of thing. At the end of the bowl (I finished it very carefully) there were many pieces found (see image) May deter me from visiting in the future.

I stayed away from this place for almost one year because of increasing prices with decrease in quality. On 4/7/24, I thought, let me give it another shot. The juices were reported made on 4/7/24. Watery!!! They tasted like pure ice was added.The smoothie bowls prices are up but less toppings; they tasted good because I added additional cashew cream which looked about a teaspoon. Presentation was good though. The worst part of the visit, my daughter and I were eating with about 2 spoons left to go and were rudely chased out by one of the young women (the team leader). The 3 young women were unpleasant as I could overhear them rudely discussing customers. People desperately want a good juice bar/vegan spot. Lawddd! No luck here. I have a Nama J2 and a Vitamix and can do better than this. Plan: No return.
