They have a lot of choices at great prices. The food is delicious, wait staff is attentive and the environment is cozy.
Small hometown feel in the city of Albany. Service was quick and the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Went for breakfast but would love to go again for lunch and dinner. Good food at a reasonable price.
I was recommended by a friend to try this place out. The wait was 25 minutes, they took our name and number and called us when a table was ready. By far the best cafe I’ve been to! The staff were inviting, the food was incredible. Absolutely my new favorite spot! I live about an hour away, definitely worth the drive! We got the peaches and cream waffle. I got eggs and he got bacon. We both got mimosas, the blood orange and the blushing. 10/10!!!
Have t been here in a while. It’s redecorated. Beautiful! The food is still Amazing! And the service is spot on. So friendly and attentive. If you’re from here or just passing through stop by and have a meal or snack. You’ll be happy you did.
Another amazing brunch at Peaches. We had the Belgium waffle with the nuts on the inside with maple syrup and whipped cream. - Omg :) And probably the best broccoli cheddar quiche I’ve ever had in my life. The service is always excellent.
🥞 Brunch Goals = Peaches Cafe 🍳 Looking for the perfect spot to gather with friends and family? Peaches Cafe is your go-to brunch destination! From golden, fluffy waffles to indulgent French toast and our crowd-favorite Big Breakfast, there’s something for everyone and it won’t break the bank. ✨ Pro tip: Don’t miss the Corned Beef Hash, it’s a post-St. Patty's Day must-have, and they serve it up right. Want to take it to the next level? Add peppers and onions for that extra flavor punch. Trust me… your taste buds will thank you 😋 📍 Stop in this weekend and brunch like you mean it!
Peaches is one of my dad's two favorite neighborhood eateries and we always stop by when I'm in Albany. The portions are massive and I've gotten up to two extra meals with leftovers. My favorite lunch would be the soup and sandwich, and you can't go wrong with any of them. My dad always gets the burger and it's huge. Their onion rings are perfect and somehow not greasy or stomach murdering. They make a good cup of coffee too!
I likely will never be able to estimate how many times I have enjoyed Peaches Cafe over the the years. And the best reason for that has to be the food! So yummy, so consistently at an excellent level. If you come to the Albany area…make Peaches a must! (5min for ALB airport!)
Had a lovely breakfast date with my youngest on a Friday morning. We were seated and ordered right away. Our server, Brittany, was very pleasant. My son had their fresh squeezed orange juice and I had a coffee with added sugar free caramel syrup. My son had the kids Mickey Mouse pancake with chocolate chips and I had the New Orleans omelet with extra marinaded mushrooms and home fries. Delicious and enough to take home for later! Will definitely return.
A great spot for a quick brunch! The service was fast and even though it was packed, we got a table within 10 minutes. Our food was all great- we ordered the strawberry and cream French toast, the peaches and cream waffle, vegetable club sandwich, and the eggs Florentine. We were too full, but they also have a big case of beautiful cakes and desserts. It’s also right near the highway entrance, so it was a great stop during our road trip!
Pretty big menu with lots of coffee and drink specials. We went for breakfast and the old school, small diner feel was welcoming. Waitress was great and the food was very good. Better than fast casual and quicker and cheaper than a fancier restaurant. Back for another visit, and was impressed again. Breakfast quesadilla was great!
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have higher stars. It’s such a cute cafe! Tons of options and seating. Lots of baked goods and coffee/tea options too. Our server was so sweet and accommodating. The special was a blueberry French toast and it was amazing. The cream cheese stuffed French toast with strawberries was also soo good. They have breakfast and lunch served all day which is awesome. Definitely going to go back. Decent prices too.
Went for brunch Sunday with my stepmom. It was okay. It was extremely busy which im not sure if it usually is or not? The person taking names seemed very overwhelmed, I felt for him. But there was no organization. We waited about 30min. Food was pretty good, I got a grilled chicken and peach salad, my stepmom got an omelet. We both very much enjoyed our food. Chicken was a bit overcooked, as were the home fries. French toast lattes were good. Server was alright, I'll give her grace because it was so busy. I asked if there was whipped cream on the latte just to be sure because I didnt want it she flippantly said "Well does it say there is on the menu? No? Then there isn't." Uh okay... I was just checking. She never asked if we wanted more lattes or coffee or anything else to drink. We felt the pressure of her hovering to clean up our plates and she was whisking things away before we were ready. Then just stood at the counter staring at us until we got up from the table to leave. She was nice in general, but idk. Overall it was a cute spot, food was decent, good prices and variations. I was just underwhelmed (and overwhelmed) and probably wouldn't return based on that experience.
Service started off a little confusing but settled down quickly. Came for breakfast. Choice of coffees r excellent as was the product. My omelette was perfect. Light and fluffy and done to perfection. Others enjoyed their breakfasts as well. Cafe reminds me of French chic. Worth a trip.
It’s ok… I came here because I wanted to try something different and they had a decent menu. It is a small cafe. Like you can see the entire place from the front door small. So I highly doubt they could accommodate a large group last minute. The food was very very diner-ish. I ordered a sandwich and my kid had a burger. We both enjoyed them. I also had a Bellini it was terrible. I’m not sure if it was the peach purée or the champagne but I wouldn’t ever order that again. EVER. I ordered onion rings to go they were over cooked but my kid ate em anyway so it’s cool. I would recommend this place for a quick bite with the kids or friends. Not a date or anything romantic.
I went in for dinner tonight , atmosphere was great, waitstaff was friendly but I felt rushed she also seemed a little annoyed because the customers were starting to build up at the end of her shift . The eggplant parm was like warm, cheese not melted well and sauce was chunks of sweet sweet tomatoes. Could be better salad consist of lettuce that was turning and a few cucumbers and a few cherry tomatoes. Dessert was great though. I have eating there several times this by far was a night that wasn’t great for them I see food and staff wise.
My daughter got a breakfast sandwich which she said was very good, especially the bacon. We got a tiramisu which was so bad we couldn't eat it.. it even had a weird chemical taste.. maybe the plastic sleeve that was on the outside? I ordered corned beef hash to go. When i opened it there were virtually no potatoes.. it was a side of corned beef which was fine.. it was real corned beef but that was it.. I'm not really a carnivore type. I called and the young man said bring it back and we'll add potatoes.. so I took it back in and they threw some fried potatoes on the top.. and everything was cold or luke warm. It was a busy place and the breakfast food is better than many places I've had but I won't go back
A fun and enticing name with a nice inviting interior and stylistic decor upon our first visit. Table service only, so truly more of a sit-down restaurant than a café! No quick take-out coffee option, which was unexpected, for a café. It was crowded and busy with an extensive options for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch but our visit felt less-than relaxing as it was jam packed! We ordered their house coffee, which we returned (when we could get our servers attention) as it was bland and undrinkable. We ordered two fresh orange juice (inspired by seeing it being freshly squeezed behind the counter), which was better but not as flavorful and fresh as expected. The menu was confusing and overly complicated, just too many options! I chose the green eggs and my husband ordered an omlette. Upon being served, we imnediately had to return my husbands plate as it was served to him on a plate with a significant broken edge at the front of his meal. My eggs were okay, it felt like very quick diner style food, not much of a flavor profile in each dish and allot of added calorific ingredient that didn't improve the overall taste profile. Truly, it is fast diner-style food in an upscale interior with too many ingredients and an overly fussy menu. Server just took our order and was otherwise unattentive, she was memerable only for her long ornate painted nails, and rings in her face. This place should be all about the food, but it was very dissaponting. I glance into the kitchen en-route back from the bathroom & I felt horrified! No quality or care in the food, just maximum consumption for big profit all dressed up in a pretty package.
Ordered the Mexican Benedict and California Benedict, and both were okay. The poached eggs were overcooked and not runny at all when we cut into them. Flavor is alright, definitely not worth waiting in line for. Seems like they skimp on the potatoes that come with the order and they were a bit overcooked as well.
The interior is nice and modern, and the service itself was good. My meal came out hot, but my husband’s was cold—even though there was no one ahead of us. The Texas egg dish was disappointing: very dry, and the chips were stale. I also considered getting dessert to go, but it looked messy—cake crumbled and falling over. On top of that, I noticed open butter cups sitting next to a mop stick and a waitress spraying hairspray nearby, which didn’t feel very sanitary. Overall, the atmosphere was better than the food, but I wouldn’t recommend this spot based on our experience.
We visited this location before the renovation and after the renovation. The place looks beautiful but on a busy Saturday morning it can get pretty cramped. Both times we have visited. There are wait times although not too long. Perhaps 15 minutes max . Sometimes it just feels like you’re eating on top of people. We receded in the back in the center aisle and it was just cramped. Every time someone got up or passed us. It just felt like a breeze would pass over our food. Even the waitress seemed annoyed, trying to pass behind me and two other tables. Speaking of the food, it was good, but nothing to write home about. My wife got the Benedict and it was cold in the middle. My omelette was a tad cold in the middle as well. This, given the fact that it took a very long time to get the food. I legitimately had 2 cups of coffee before the food came. It’s a decent place and it looks great especially the bar area. However, I don’t think we would return on a busy day.
I know Peaches Café is very popular, but my experiences here have consistently been just average. Today I ordered the tuna sandwich ($14.95) and was disappointed with the value and execution. The sandwich contained a fairly small amount of tuna with Swiss cheese and tomato on very soft white bread. Because the bread wasn’t sturdy or thoroughly toasted, it quickly became soggy and literally fell apart. I ended up having to eat most of it with a fork. The tuna itself also didn’t seem like albacore; it tasted and smelled more like standard light tuna, which made the price feel even harder to justify. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but for nearly $15 I expected better quality and structure. For me, this was a C-minus sandwich.
Since the renovation, while the food has stayed at the same high quality, the staff seems to have suffered. It was especially disturbing to see that one member of staff was dedicated to only dividing up tips between the rest of the staff, and actually ignored customers to do so on several occasions. Also, now that the serving counter is more open, more care needs to be taken to keeping it neat and clean!
