This is a little gem of a place in Alfred, NY, hosting customers from the two colleges, both students and staff. It has a great variety of curry dishes available, in addition to its more traditional breakfast menu. There is some seating downstairs and much more upstairs, including outdoors. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. This is a nice, relaxing place to eat in, or take back to the dorm or office.

Walked to the Terracotta around 3 pm. Ordered a Thai Curry with chicken not on the online menu. If you are looking for something other than coffee or the usual gluten-rich food, go there in person. The dish I ordered came from the specials. Absolutely delicious!! Currys are usually either too hot or too salty for me, but this dish has just the right amount of sweetness from small pieces of fruit in the very generous vegetable side, just the right amount of piquancy from the sauce and there was quite a bit of the not at all salty shredded chicken. The whole thing was marvelous!! Will come back any day for this wonderful experience. Pricey, but it was worth every penny and there was enough there for 2 small meals. THANK YOU!!

Nice little place in the middle of Alfred. Walking distance from both colleges. Unfortunately, on the day I went the griddle was broken so choices were limited so I just grabbed a couple of pastries. Very nice and helpful staff.

Had the chance to stop here today and grab an iced coffee and a Greek Focaccia sandwich that was delicious and I couldn't pass up the bakery counter and I couldn't make up my mind and brought 3 different "Midnight Snacks" home with me 🤗 Service was very friendly and I'm sure when Alfred Is in session this location is Crazy Busy

We always stop in when in town!

We brought my aunt's ESA (a dog), a senior Chihuahua in, and had no trouble with him, nor the management/staff. He hogged my burger and fries a bit, but he's so cute I didn't mind.

It was pretty nice.They have done renovations, so it's lighter and brighter. I guess it's now owned by alfred university.
