Newish to the area and have been checking out cafes to spend some time at. By far one of my favorites. Service is great! The people there are kind and attentive. Went around 11 on Saturday and still had great service despite them being very busy. I had an iced chai w 2 shots of espresso and it was delish! I had their American crepe, very good and a large portion. Great 3rd space for reading, studying or working. Good amount of seating just wish there was a bit more, however seems like I hit a peak time so spaces were def taken by that time. Also big shoutout to the fact I witness them be so kind to the police/security guy for the watters creek area. Knew him by name and were very attentive at getting him taken care of!
This place was so cute! I love the patio and my coffee was delicious. It's a bit of a drive for me but I would definitely go back.
I've been here numerous times as it was my favorite Cafe in Allen. It gets busy and sometimes it can take a while to get your order/some mistakes may happen. Depends on how busy they are really. Early morning and right before close were when I liked to go. Everything is really clean, the atmosphere is nice and the staff seem happy to serve. The food is also really nice and crepes are made in view. I definitely recommend. They also do super cute latte art. I don't live close by here anymore, but I intend to go back to try out their holiday menu items!!
Cozy place, I ordered the chocolate banana crepe and coffee, it was good, they had outdoor seating and the weather was perfect, one of our drinks was missing creamer, they made us a new one and brought it to our table, the girl that works there with tattoos, I forgot her name, was awesome! Definitely recommend.
Love what they’ve done with the patio - it’s really elevated the vibe! They got new furniture, use real plates and metal silverware now 👍🏻 The lox bagel was really good. Love that they were generous with the cream cheese. Husband said the continental sammich was tasty as well. He REALLY liked the London fog. I got the butter pecan cold brew 👍🏻 Definitely happy about going back! Only downside is the endless banging from the kids bc it’s right next to the playground
One of my absolute favorite coffee and brunch spots in DFW! The coffee is always amazing, the food is fresh and tasty, and the vibe here is just perfect. The outdoor patio is super cute too — great place to sit, relax, and people-watch. After brunch, you can take a nice walk around the beautiful Waters Creek area. Highly recommend this place!
I've been here twice for the matcha latte. The first time was to-go and the second time I stayed. If you're getting a hot beverage, just stay. It's way better. The matcha latte was delicious and the chocolate muffin was very satisfying, although they did heat it up a bit too much. I had to let it cool off a bit. Other than that. It's a nice place. Definitely make it a point to come here.
Delicious food! What a great find! I tried the caramel macchiato, Macha latte, veggie sandwich, chicken sandwich, garden crepe and banana crepe. Each dish was a hit. Macha was better than any other place I've tried. It's already sweetened, so if you want unsweetened - let them know. The Crepes were gluten free which was amazing since I'm gluten free and it's always hard to find good dishes. We ended up ordering a mix of gluten free, egg free, veg, non veg all at the same restaurant. Must try!
The first time I’ve stopped but I found it very charming. It was a little hard to read the boards over head so it would have been nice to have a set down close at hand. I liked the choices and will have to come back to try others because I started out boring with the ham & cheese crepe. I ordered a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. You can’t tell in the picture but they did not disappoint. It was wonderful!!! Now that was a hot chocolate to me! I would have liked the cheese melted a bit more in my dinner crepe but it was very good. Only complaint really was at the very end, as I was finishing the crepe, there was no filling in the last inch or so. I had fruit as my side and they need to check the fruit over before serving as some of the strawberries were bruised. My dessert crepe was good. The strawberries were frozen I think and whole. My suggestion would be to slice them length wise, poor some of the hot fudge on them inside the crepe, close them inside and then finish as they have been. It was very good but a bit hard to eat. All in all I felt this was a wonderful place for a bite. I had not ordered dessert initially but decided, after dinner, that I couldn’t pass dessert up. The staff was attentive and very friendly. I’ll be back.
I came to the Frogg Coffee Bar with my wife for crepes and coffee, and so our boys could play at the neighboring play area. Prices are very reasonable - two crepes and two iced coffees for around $30, and everything was good. The iced matcha latte was a bit sweet for my tastes, but still very good. The Nutella crepe and Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe were both fantastic. It was enough to share with the two boys and a friend, too. Staff was friendly and polite. No military discount typically, but a nice waitress gave us a small discount anyway. Two bathrooms, both unisex, very clean and available to customers. Price, atmosphere, food quality, and service all very good. Overall very much enjoyed. Highly recommend.
I’m not putting anything for the atmosphere, I wish not to discredit their efforts on something they cannot control. It was pretty crowded, they did have outdoor tables, I’m just not a fan of the humidity. If this helps, it was an hour before closing, on a weekday. Their crepes, are amazing. The Nutella and fruits blended together with the softness of the crepes, delicious! The turkey sandwich with croissant, was good. I just felt like, it might have been missing something. It had enough portion of turkey, enjoyed the kale, maybe, it could have had guacamole and sliced tomatoes, with cheese. I give it, 3.5 stars. Overall, I give it 4 stars. I’m definitely, coming back. It’s just my individual opinion, try it yourself. Staff were friendly, it can be pricey, and it took like 7-8 mins to prepare my meal. I hope this review was helpful, have a nice day. I have came back, after trying, Talia’s, version of crepes. I must say, I felt like I didn’t give enough credit for this restaurant’s crepes/desserts. Don’t head to Talia, if you’re craving pancakes or crepes. It was eggy (taste) as hell. But, Froggy seem to take their time and it sure does seem to be made with love. Come give this place a try. I just want y’all to know, how much of a difference, taste matters. Talia’s seems to only care about money. While Froggy, has quality and knows how to be more consistent with their flavors.
I really enjoy the initial vibe of this place. I ordered a medium roast drip coffee and it was super hot and came quickly which was excellent. Didn't need milk or sugar it was very good. Didn’t try the food though but the pastries in the window looked amazing. The staff wasn’t the friendliest but the coffee made up for it so I won’t complain too much about it.
A nice place with Cozy Vibes and a variety of Crepes… Frogg Cafe is one of those rare spots that provides you with a nice ALFRESCO OPTION. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and effortlessly cozy perfect for a quiet morning coffee or a relaxed catch-up with friends. Whether you’re in the mood for something indulgent or light and fresh, there’s something here for everyone. Even Their drip medium roast coffee is a must-try—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced.
Orange juice should not be served with ice. It tasted very watered down. I’ve never been to a place where they serve OJ with ice. What’s up with the forks..can’t really get a good grip on them. The garden veggie crepe how ever was good. The food was a bit expensive. Place has a good vibe, but food is very expensive for grocery store products. Coffee was good.
Revisited in July 2025: Coffee was good as usual but birds still ruled the patio area. See added pictures. 2024: Whenever there's a nice weather day, Frogg is always a good place to go. Nice breeze at patio when people watching, good way to start a day. My favorite drink here is iced mocha, right amount of sweetness and coffee flavor. For food, we always go for the freshly made to order crepes. American crepe, classic crepe, berries crepe, nutella crepe, all good. Two stars deducted for its crow problem is getting worse. Today we saw crows eating bacon off an uncleaned table. Two customers had seen enough and decided to clean that table by putting everything in Frogg's trash can. However, one of the two trash cans was without lid, so, the crow residents who knew better just needed to move over there and dig food out. Not a good scene to see.
I used to love coming here but it truly has gone down hill. The food is mediocre at best but the drinks are terrible. I think they must be using the worst quality coffee and matcha because the taste is ALWAYS off. The matcha tastes nothing like authentic matcha and they use so much sweetner, even if you ask for less the sweetness is too much to bare and their syrups have a bad taste as well. their food is okay but definitely not worth the price. They will get your order wrong and question if it is their mistake but have no problem making multiple crepes and drinks for homeless customers instead of treating their paying customers with the same decency. Ive been going here for about 5 years but I really cant take the disappointment, other than that the atmosphere is really nice for studying as long as you dont get anything.
Cute cafe, okay atmosphere for studying and sitting, but the food is just not up to standard for a cafe. The matcha latte and coffee are just plain not good. The matcha was very sweet, which I can get behind, but the problem is that it didn’t taste like matcha all. It was basically sweet milk. Matcha is a popular drink and I assume it is ordered quite frequently at Frogg; care should be taken to ensure that such a basic drink is made well. The crepes are also not my favorite. They are a bit too thick and doughy for my liking. The sandwiches are subpar and forgettable. Not a horrible spot, but there are definitely some critiques to be made with the food.
First time here and I was so disappointed. I went inside and ordered to go. The cream cheese danish was hard as a rock and the bread had no flavor and tasted like it had been sitting there for a very good while. The lady that took my order was nice and she asked me if I wanted it warm and I said yes when she gave it to me it was just slightly warm at the top and it was freezing at the bottom like it almost was like if they had this bread in the freezer for a while very disappointed because I couldn’t even eat it. I took first bite, and it was hard to chew on. And it threw me off a little bit that they charged extra for a specialty milk, which the lady never said it was gonna be an extra charge if I wanted oat milk instead of regular milk, but no big deal I guess but the bread definitely a big disappointment. I’m not sure if I would come back and give it a second try big bummer.
