Authentic Pakistani restaurant! Flavorful and authentic! Small restaurant with a big heart. Very warm and welcoming. Lahori Fish and chicken combo are a must try. We will come back again and recommend it to friends.
We recently placed a corporate food order for 170 people, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and quality provided. The food arrived on time, well-packed, and perfectly organized for our event. Everything was fresh and delicious, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes and dietary preferences. The dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared, showcasing a great balance of tastes and textures. Every item was met with compliments from our team. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring no one went hungry. The delivery was seamless, and the staff handled everything professionally, making sure that our event went off without a hitch. Overall, this was a top-notch experience, and we will certainly be ordering again for future corporate events. Highly recommended! Thank you Silver Spoon.
Omg it's the best curry restaurant in the DFW metroplex. I went in during lunch time. It is only $8.99 + tax for butter chicken with a choice of Naan or Rice. The portion was huge, and chicken tikka masala was super creamy and flavorful!!!! We also ordered chicken Biryani, it came with lots of bone-in chicken. The owner and server were also very friendly :) i will def come back
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Silver Spoon and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The chill vibe of the place made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan, and it was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, and each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The butter chicken was perfectly seasoned and the garlic naan was soft and fluffy, the ideal accompaniment to the dish. What truly set Silver Spoon apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. Overall, Silver Spoon is a gem of a restaurant that not only serves incredible food but also provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Honestly best fish biryani I have ever had. The fish was fresh and seasoned to the right amount! The rice was also great texture and almost made me wanna order seconds and thirds. The Nihari was also good as well as the fresh nun bread. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try any different cuisines for Indian, Pakistani, and Bengali! 10/10!!!
This review is after multiple visits and trying all most everything on the menu. I must say Silver spoon is the best Pakistani restaurant in Dallas. They maintain consistency in their flavors and quality of food, that’s why they have been in business for the past 30+ years. Everything on their menu is delicious but my favorite is Lahori fish and rice. A must try restaurant.
I'm so glad Google recommended this place to me. Went there with family last February and everyone loved their food. Service was even better than food itself! The guy who took the order (could be the owner) treated us with respect, was very knowledgeable and gave suggestions on what to order. I'll definitely go back again!!
I had given up on finding a delicious Indian/Pakistani restaurant when I left Taiwan. The sheer nerve of me to have stopped looking! DFW is coming up and into the spotlight with this hidden gem. My friend invited me to check out this place just on a whim. We did and now we LOVE it! I had the chicken tikka masala with rice and naan. It was everything that I was expecting my tastebuds to enjoy! Shall we press on... Customer service was spot on! Everyone that follows me on all my food reviews KNOWS how much customer service is to me! The gentleman that reminds me of Common the rapper, was beyond helpful, and kind. He was neatly dressed as well. (Whispers-I need that outfit)The owner was SUPER nice and inviting. They didn’t mind me asking for a photo. The restaurant was cute and small. Nicely decorated and just the right lighting. Oh, before I forget. You also get a 10% discount when you check in!!! Use it! Whenever you can save a coin or two. DO IT! The ONLY negative I have about the restaurant is the chairs. That have an awful screech when you scoot forward to the table. If there are some rubber caps to fix that terrible sound... that’d be excellent! It’s like scratches on a chalkboard.
Good food, good friendly service. Each food item is well packaged. Each item is individually plastic wrap to prevent spills. The biryani is on the sweet side and not as dry as I like. The beef nehari is delicious. Wish it was a tad spicier. The chicken tiki masala is tomato based and has great flavors but the chicken breast is a bit dry. The goat curry was perfectly delicious.
The owners have considerable experience in the regional cuisine - a rating of six on a spice scale of zero to five. This is precisely how the clientele prefers the food to be served - all the subtle ingredients and spices overwhelmed by the liberal dash of chili powder. It is satisfying to see diversified demographics for the dine-in customers perhaps enlarged by a better location from the previous challenges. Then there are the Uber Eats customers whose demographics are indeterminate. The place is small but the owners leverage their considerable charm and flexibility to make newcomers very welcome. I only wish that they would serve the appetizers in advance of the main meal. There is only one restaurant in the DFW-Houston metro areas that serves Biryani a la authentic Mughlai. It was featured in one of Bourdain's shows. This place obviously wouldn't even make the short list. The Haleem, although prepared with proper understanding of the key ingredients lost the interplay between the beef and the lentils on account of the spiciness. Inability to garnish the dish to taste imparted a rendering of fast food establishment rather than a true dining place. The grilled meats were forgetful in general but the accompanying fish was truly superb - uniform spice coating and more importantly fresh. In short, if you are enamored by unreasonably (my personal opinion) "chili-hot" food that masks the taste of the other ingredients then you will like this place because the owners are very pleasant in helping you to enjoy your selections. I simply wonder what is the cut-off point before the dining experience becomes a detriment to one's health.
Small space, good portion of food but didn’t had the authentic taste. The meat wasn’t flavorful, flavor was over powered with tomatoes it tasted more like tomato and chicken than the dish chicken tikka, or chicken karahi. The presentation and ambiance was alright. It is more like a cafe to go food stop than a restaurant suitable for quick bites. Food could be better.
My experience here was extremely disappointing. I ordered chicken boti from the grill menu and chicken seekh kebab to-go. When I opened the first box, I was shocked to find the “chicken boti” was just shredded chicken with absolutely no flavor. Then I opened the second box, only to discover that the chicken seekh kebab was actually beef—and the taste and texture were completely off. I really wish I had checked everything at the restaurant, but my order was so small that I didn’t expect it to be messed up. Unfortunately, this will be my last time ordering from here.
Absolutely horrible food!! Just ordered Chicken Tandoori and Biryani. I don't know where they buy their chicken from but the chicken leg looks like that of a horse! The size isn't normal (too many steroids probably). The taste is horrible, the biryani is completely devoid of any taste. and the chicken leg looks like it's painted Pink. Ended up throwing the food out. What a waste of hard earned money.
We ordered chicken 65, kadhai paneer, chicken Nihari and naan, I haven’t had food like this in my whole life the food was uncooked even the gravy was not cooked and the paneer 65 (starter) was looking that a gravy and the taste was like saur and taste less, I won’t recommend this place at all,Guys don’t waste your money by coming here its totally waste of money and even you’ll spoil your mood
It was my worst day!! Tried to get something from new place and I tried chicken seekh kebab biryani and the chicken nehari gravy for naan from Silver Spoon. Il I NEVER tasted such horrible food . When I opened the back, the kebab rice had some bad smell. Still I tried a spoon of rice and immediately split out. Such a worst food. Also the Nehari gravy which the chef recommends when I tried to order Tikka Masala for the naan. It's again waste, full oily, tasteless. It's totally kind of spice water with oil, chicken not cooked well. Not sure how t chef recommends a watery gravy for a naan. I thought it will be similar to Tikka and something as thick gravy. All goes to trash now in few secs. Not even one star! DONT EVEN THINK TO TRY HERE!!!!
