We had a reservation for a large party to celebrate my daughter’s 15th Birthday and with 2 weekends of winter storms the restaurant did everything to help us accommodate. We had to change the date, time, # of attendees more than once and they didn’t hesitate to assist. We even had a mishap on our drive there with the 2 tier cake we brought and the Chef tonight was amazing!!! He worked miracles to fix our cake so we could take pictures! I also want to give recognition to Lauren and Paul who both took measures to help execute such a special day. Lastly, the food was delicious!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
We had the best experience at Ocean & Acre this past weekend on 11/15 while celebrating my mom’s birthday! 🥳 From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was amazing, fresh, and beautifully prepared, and the customer service was truly outstanding. A huge thank-you to Juan and Isabelle for going above and beyond to make our celebration special!! 🙏🏽☺️ Their kindness, attention to detail, and warm personalities made the day unforgettable. The managers Jovanny and Juan were also fantastic—welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a wonderful time. Ocean & Acre is the perfect place for a birthday celebration or any special occasion. We absolutely love this restaurant and can’t wait to come back!! They also wrote my mom a birthday card!! We are lifetime customers here!! Thank you, Ocean & Acre, for an amazing evening! 🌟🍽️🎉
My boyfriend and I went to dinner here recently and loved it! The atmosphere and vibe, especially on the patio, was beautiful. Our waiter was quick, friendly, and offered to take a photo of us. The food was also really good, and the desserts and mocktails were probably our favorite part. It was a really nice evening and we’re so glad we went here!
Being one of the top Google reviewers for restaurants, I find myself uniquely qualified to speak about both service and food. I’ve visited countless restaurants across the country, and I have never experienced service as exceptional as what I received at Ocean & Acre in Alpharetta, Georgia. My server, Alex, a young lady who is exceptionally kind, pleasant, and attentive, went above and beyond to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. She was highly knowledgeable about the menu and beverages, offering thoughtful suggestions that turned out to be absolutely perfect. Paul, the manager, is equally impressive when it comes to customer service. He makes it his mission to ensure that every guest is satisfied, constantly monitoring the dining area and engaging with customers — something rarely seen in today’s restaurant industry. The ambiance of Ocean & Acre is absolutely amazing. The architectural design and layout make it the perfect spot for a date night or celebrating a special occasion like a birthday. While the food was good, I would say the outstanding atmosphere and impeccable customer service more than made up for any minor shortcomings. There’s ample parking available, although I did not notice designated handicap parking directly in front of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder — both were delicious. Another detail I loved, as the manager pointed out, is that their outdoor fireplaces are made from clam shells shaped like bricks — a beautiful and unique touch. Ocean & Acre is truly a great place to relax with friends and enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Don’t walk — run — to Ocean & Acre Seafood Restaurant in Alpharetta, Georgia!
Recently dined at Ocean & Acre, and the overall experience was truly pleasant. Located inside Halcyon Plaza, the restaurant offers convenient parking with both deck and outdoor options, making arrival seamless. The star of the meal was hands down the Bouillabaisse Pasta—a seafood lover’s dream. Made with lobster, shrimp, and mussels, tossed in fettuccine and coated in a rich saffron-tomato broth, it was flavorful, comforting, and beautifully balanced. To complement the dish, I paired it with the Bermuda Berry, a refreshing blend of water, lemon, strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry purées, sweetened with honey and finished with fresh mint. Light, vibrant, and the perfect pairing. The ambiance was equally impressive—stylish yet welcoming, making it ideal for group dinners, solo outings, or special occasions. Service was attentive and seamless, with great communication and smooth meal handoffs throughout the evening.
Wanted to try this place because of the high reviews and we were not dissapointed. Everything was so delicious. We tried the oysters, lobster rolls, cheeseburgers, cocktails and crème brûlée. The grits also had so much flavor. I would love to return soon!
I visited Ocean & Acre in Halcyon on 12/5/25 for my birthday lunch with my brother, and the experience blew past every expectation. We were seated exactly where we preferred (since the restaurant wasn’t yet busy) and the ambiance, cleanliness, open kitchen view, and overall upscale vibe were spot-on! Our waitress, Lina, was truly the icing on the cake—bubbly, friendly, genuine, and a joy to interact with. Lina truly made us feel welcome. Our food came out quick, and the kitchen even accommodated my request for the Pan-Seared Redfish, even though it wasn’t on the lunch menu. I loved EVERY bite! My brother devoured the Coastal Quinoa Bowl and said it “gave him LIFE!” 😄 The chef brought out a celebratory dessert, and the team surprised me with a birthday card signed by the staff. I don’t take many moments to celebrate myself amongst the hustles of life, however, Ocean & Acres hospitality, the great tasting food, and Lina’s exceptional service made me feel truly special! Thank you to everyone at Ocean & Acre. I will DEFINITELY be back!
Went here recently with a large group for a family celebration. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was excellent. The service from the wait staff to the managers was kind and accommodating. I’m so happy that we chose to spend this special occasion here. We will definitely be back!
We have never been here before and we had an amazing experience We told them upfront that we were going to be using a giftcard that we were gifted for getting married this weekend and they treated us amazing we dont ever go out to eat at fine dining like this and they treated us like anyone else Alex was super sweet and accommodating and very attentive The atmosphere was so quiet and rustic with fine dining elements We were drawn like butter to the happy hour too from 4-6 We got the grilled lobster tails and the 1/2 oysters happy hour Even at the end they asked if we wanted our picture taken infront of the Christmas tree I will always recommend this place
Just left this restaurant and I highly recommend it! 5 star for sure! Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious! Salmon BLT had great flavor ! Lobster bisque was flavorful! Everyone else highly enjoyed the food as well . Brandon was attentive and friendly. Ask for him ! I will definitely one back
Quality food and service although the pricing is hard to swallow. Enjoyed the upscale outdoor patio with infinity edge pool.
My first time here was a great experience. Our waiter made a few recommendations and was spot on. All our meals pictured were delicious! Will definitely add to my regular line up. Even though a week before Christmas, there was a decent lunch crowd, mostly work groups. The food was fresh, hot and served quickly. I wish the weather was warmer because the outdoor patio area was cozy & beautiful. There was a good clean vibe; sea decor & planked walls; simple table settings and could accommodate different sized groups.
Isabel was absolutely amazing. She took great care of us at brunch today. Get the mimosa flight and try the guava flavor. The food is great too their season potatoes and crab cake Benedict is amazing!
There is absolutely NOTHING I can say negative about my birthday visit. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was superb! The host Diamond and my waitress service was hands down top tier. I will definitely be back. Did I say I LOVED my experience? Lol ❤️. I had a birthday voucher so my meal was covered in case you're wondering why my tab was so reasonable.
Ocean & Acre quickly won me over, starting with a warm welcome and immediate seating during their Happy Hour. As a devoted oyster lover, I couldn’t resist trying a half dozen to start—and they were absolutely delightful. Medium brine, buttery texture, and plenty of briny liquor made each one a treat. I went back for seconds without hesitation. The Blackened Salmon Tacos were just as impressive. The spice from the salmon, the crunch of the slaw, and that tangy, house-made remoulade came together beautifully—bold, flavorful, and balanced. Great food, great vibes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Ocean & Acre at Halcyon was a great choice for a relaxed, family-friendly meal. Since we didn’t have a reservation, we were seated on the patio by the infinity fountain, which honestly turned out to be a good move. The outdoor space had a beachy 30A vibe — perfect for the summer. Plus, there was a small area where our toddler could stretch his legs, which was a nice bonus. We started with the Burrata and Lobster Bisque — good appetizer choices with a nice balance of flavors. For mains we had the Frito Misto and Grouper Sandwich with Red Cabbage Slaw. The fried seafood was fresh, with a nice crispy batter that wasn't greasy and the sandwich could’ve easily been two meals for me. The slaw needed a touch more acid, but was on point after a few squeezes of lemon. For the quality of food, attentive service, and the overall experience, I’d say the meal was definitely worth the price. Next time, I’ll be sure to call ahead for a reservation now that ATL weather is cooling down.
Carolina S. Was a great waitress they was very attentive to our needs. Always checking on us and being sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend.
The place was very chic. The server was very nice and courteous. I had the mashed potatoes and jumbo shrimp. The shrimp were not that big but very tasty. The mashed potatoes were dry. Not the best. The key lime pie was also ok. The crab cake, on the other hand, was delicious. I will definitely go back as I enjoyed the atmosphere.
5* to our server Markus!! Very friendly and professional. He was busy serving many tables in many different sections of the restaurant, and also was training a new employee. One small thing I wish that could have been improved would be to be a bit more attentive to all his tables. Our drinks/waters were not refilled proactively, and also had to wait for ~5+ min before we could get his attention as we had a question for payment. They have plenty of outdoor seating. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much, and totally see this would be a place we will bring friends, families, and colleagues to and we can host company gathering events here! Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm they have happy hour menu options. We were there on a weekday before 6pm, so we could also order from the happy hour menu. We were able to order happy hour oyster ($1 each) for just half dozen which was nice! The salmon tacos (2 per order, $10) had a huge piece of Salmon! Very fulfilling! Love the generous amount of Cole slaw on them! We had lobster roll ($29) and shrimp and grits ($28). They both tasted great, especially the sauce for the grits was very flavorful! But the portion for shrimp and grits was a bit disappointing, wish it could be a bit more generous. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would recommend Ocean & Acre to anyone!!
My dining experience at Ocean Acres on Doodle Day was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Isabel provided service that was both highly professional and genuinely welcoming. Her attentiveness elevated the experience and ensured that every detail was thoughtfully managed. The cuisine was equally impressive. The grits were prepared to perfection, creamy in texture and full of flavor. The crab Benedict was refined and well-executed, offering a harmonious balance of richness and freshness. The lobster bisque stood out as a highlight—silky, deeply flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, Ocean Acres delivered an outstanding dining experience, seamlessly combining excellent service with remarkable cuisine. I look forward to returning.
Wide range of options for a seafood lover. Tried oysters here for the first time and loved it. Very aesthetic presentation of food and prompt service by the team.
We dined at Ocean and Acre for the first time last night for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Diamond and it became her mission to make us feel celebrated, making sure we toasted to our 25 years! We shared the calamari starter as well as lobster bisque and clam chowder. The soups were both so wonderful and though it would be so hard to choose, I’d say the clam chowder was a WOW! (But I’ve also never had lobster bisque so delicious!) My husband requested steak frites, Oscar style. The chef and servers wisely put the elements in ramekins so we could customize each bite. The chimichurri was vibrant and such a great companion for the steak, as was the béarnaise sauce (rich, creamy, buttery) with the crab. The Oscar style crab addition to the steak frites was certainly enjoyable for a go-all-out celebration meal, but we likely wouldn’t order that as an addition again. I had a hard time deciding on my entrée and eventually landed on ordering the Lobster Roll with mixed greens salad and I’m so glad I did. How is it that lobster on buttered bread has THIS much flavor explosion?! The toasted brioche bun with the buttery lobster was simply fantastic. I’ve enjoyed lobster rolls fresh off the boat in Boston and this was equally delicious. Our drinks (O & A Seasonal Mule and Deep Sea Rita) were great, probably preferring the Mule over the Rita. I wanted to try the Seaside Grove but they were unfortunately missing some ingredients for that drink last night. Finally, our evening ended with a generous surprise of a dessert trio with a smooth brûlée, decadent and rich chocolate cake, and key lime pie. Don’t miss this pie!! We were already so incredibly satisfied from our meal, but these sweet treats and the sentiment of a hand written card from the staff sent us into full blown food and celebration utopia. I regret that I don’t remember both servers names (Kimani and _____?), but they were a great team, and again Diamond takes manager and guest experience to a whole new level. Can’t wait to come back again! When you get food and service THIS excellent—you absolutely take time to review and say THANK YOU! So, thanks everyone at Ocean and Acre! You gave us a sweet night to talk about for years to come.
This is our favorite spot for business lunches and dinners. The service is always fantastic, and the food is incredible. We never have any trouble getting seating for our group, and it's just the right level of nice but casual to be comfortable if we're doing an unplanned team lunch or dinner with the CEO in town. Ocean & Acre is also a favorite for meeting up with friends for brunch or lunch. It's a great go-to spot for any reason!
Ocean and Acres at Halcyon is a fantastic spot for fresh and delicious seafood! The oysters were a standout—so fresh and flavorful. We tried several dishes, and each one was top-notch, from the perfectly cooked fish to the savory sides. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the friendly wait staff made the experience even better with their helpful suggestions and prompt service. If you’re in the area and looking for quality seafood, Ocean and Acres is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
Had an excellent dinner here. Crab cakes, lobster tails, fries, and cheesecake. Food was cooked perfectly and flavor was on point. Service was excellent as well. If you eat here I recommend buying gift cards from Costco. It's a big discount.
I had such a good dinner here! The drinks were mediocre, (my girlfriend said terrible) had to send one back, but the raw Oysters were delicious & we ordered more. Kristie loved the Grilled Swordfish with lemon caper butter. I had the pan seared Chicken, it was sooo good; (I never order chicken when I go out), the sauce was amazing, but I wasn't fond of the Swiss chard. But definitely good enough to come back. And our waiter Paul was attentive & very funny.
Great place, great food! Dove was a fantastic waitress and took great care of us!
Came into town to visit family and my sister suggested this restaurant. Food was delicious. Service timing was on point. We did not have any complaints. The only thing to note was that we had 2 rounds of drinks and they may have been made by different bartenders. Our second round was definitely heavy handed, which is NOT a complaint.
If you're looking for 5 star seafood, look no further. From the point of stepping into the building and appreciating the amazing architecture of the building. To the seating area in multiple seating options and the bar, you will know that this is a pretty neat place for gathering. The menu spans a palethora of seafood options, and there are also steak, chicken, and pork offerings. Everything in the photos, including the appetizers, were absolutely delicious. Our orders were taken by a very fun and very helpful young blonde girl. She really was great and made us all laugh and feel comfortable. She was attentive and well educated. There was also a good selection of delicious wines, and the desserts were to die for. The restrooms were also clean. Be sure to make a reservation because this place stays busy. I will most certainly be back soon!!!
We went to Ocean and Acre recently for a bday celebration and was very impressed with the choices in the menu and the quality! The food was outstanding! We tried the crab cake, lobster tails and shrimp and grits and enjoyed the crème brûlée for desert! It was just awesome!!! This was our first time but we are going to be back again!!
Ocean and Acre: Consistently Exceeding Expectations—Chef’s Kiss This was our third time dining at Ocean and Acre, and I can confidently say that this restaurant continues to set the standard for excellence in both service and cuisine. Having visited several restaurants in the area, Ocean and Acre stands out in every way—its impeccable food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere create an experience that is simply unmatched. From our very first visit, the attention to detail in both presentation and flavor was undeniable. The redfish I had initially was spectacular—I didn’t think anything could top it. But tonight, I tried the blackened trout with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and it was absolute perfection—chef’s kiss. My husband, who typically orders salmon, decided on the hamburger during our first visit, and it left such an impression that he talked about it throughout our entire spring break in Seaside. When we returned home on Sunday, his first stop was Ocean and Acre—to get that burger. It’s safe to say that when a restaurant serves a burger so good it overshadows Five Guys, you know they’re doing something right. Tuna poke lovers, take note! The tuna poke is my absolute favorite dish—I could easily eat it every day. It was the first thing brought to the table, and honestly, I regret not taking pictures of the rest of our food because it was so good that I didn’t have time to think about it. Beyond the food, the service and management are consistently top-tier. Diamond, the manager, is exceptional—she goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a flawless dining experience. Her leadership is reflected in the entire staff’s commitment to excellence, making each visit feel like a truly special occasion. If you’re in the area, Ocean and Acre is a must-visit. And when you go, do yourself a favor—try the poke, the trout, or that unforgettable burger. And be sure to tell Diamond that Kesha sent you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars, every time. Chef’s kiss.
This is a restaurant that is a part of the affluent Halcyon location in Alpharetta. Wonderful area with many options but decided on this location. Free parking lot nearby for the entire Halcyon area. We decided on this location due to trying them at a food festival not too far from the restaurant. Was good enough to go give them a try in person and the manager (I believe his name is Nick) talked us into it. Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and there is plenty of room to sit inside. Service on point, no complaints on that front either. Down to the niddy-griddy, we got the food and drinks. Drinks of the night were the Riptide cocktail and the Guava Nice Day & Bermuda Berry mocktails. All were good but the standout winner by far was the Guava Nice Day drink. It's a mocktail so if you're looking for alcohol, pass on this 1 (or ask if they can spike it!) for another choice. Appetizer was the Calamari (mixture of the real & not so real bits), and entrées were the Seared Ahi Tuna and the Frito Misto (Fried Cod fillet, fried oysters, fried shrimp, French fries, and cole slaw) and I'm happy to say both were GREAT! They even had a tube in the filler that I think was filled with malt vinegar, which adds a good taste to cod. If you're looking for a good seafood restaurant with a good experience and ambiance, look no further and give these folks a try. I'm confident they'll take good care of you!
We have been here a couple of times before and have had some ok meals… we were in the mood for oysters so we decided to bring the dog on this hot evening and give it a try and it was wonderful!! Gorgeous night we sat on the patio. I felt like we were on vacation! We started with our fresh oysters and we both had shrimp entrees. Our server was fantastic and checked on us throughout our meal!! Just a wonderful evening and meal. We will be back again. Thank you 🙏🏻🍾😎🐶
Our experience at this restaurant was phenomenal! Lina was so on point and very helpful when making the decision on what we should order! She literally made the food taste better by her amazing customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant
Stopped by Ocean & Acre for a Saturday Brunch and had a wonderful experience. My wife loved the oysters on the half shell while I had the Quinoa Salad. The food was delicious, and Isabel, our server, was great in providing service. She made several recommendations that were great. Overall, the experience was outstanding that we will stop by after a bike ride or for the Happy Hours.
this is the best seafood around! Every single thing on the menu is amazing and my server Isabel was on point. She was warm, accommodating and made us a priority! We love when Isabel takes care of us. Definitely will be coming back often.
We visited for the first time and were truly impressed. Alex, our server, guided us through the menu with confidence and made our evening memorable. I hope to be seated in her section again!
My husband and I came here for dinner the other night and it has definitely become one of our favorites. We got the oysters and absolutely loved them, I think I can safely say they were the star of our meal. And our server Lucciano was even better. He was very attentive and charming and completely elevated the experience. Definitely will be coming back with friends, we're always looking for quality restaurants like this one.
From the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere was divine. Artful, ocean inspired interior with eye catching accents combined with excellent customer service from the first greeting until we were done with the meal and paying the ticket. Our server, Shawn, took the experience to a whole new level with tantalizing descriptions, and engaging discussion with recommendations that were right on point. The manager, Paul, was also attentive and keeping an eye on the experience of the customers and engaging with every table to ensure satisfaction. I have not had this level of customer service ever. The food itself spoke volumes to the skilled, chefs with attention to detail, delicate pairings, and perfectly cooked dishes with precision. We inhaled that food while our eyes rolled back in our heads with every bite of the delicious cuisine. If you have plans with a close friend or family member or need a recommendation for a special date, add Ocean & Acre to your list for the next night out. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Shawn, Paul and the whole staff for our blissful experience at your restaurant.
From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our server Carolina was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member clearly cared about making our visit memorable, and it showed in every interaction. The food was outstanding beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere tied it all together: comfortable, inviting, and perfect for both special occasions or a relaxed night out. Highly recommend- you will be thinking about the meal long after you leave.
Food was absolutely delicious. Don't pass on the brussels, they are the largest portion I've ever seen in a restaurant for the price. The wait staff was absolutely on top of it and the atmosphere is elegant and laid back, feels like you're near the water. Highly recommend 👌
This is or second time at Ocean and Acre and both times were a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and yesterday we had one of the best servers we have ever had. Isabel was so attentive, gave excellent recommendations based on our preferences, and had the most wonderful personality—just a genuinely nice person. There was absolutely nothing we could have found fault with. Thank you for making our anniversary date so special.
My girlfriend and I had the privilege of dining at Ocean & Acre for our anniversary, and let’s just say it was a 10/10 experience. Mr. Paul (the owner) is the GOAT!! Make sure to ask for Alex (our server) she will definitely make sure you are taken care of. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was electric. We will 100% be back!!
I’ve been 17 times to this restaurant and never been disappointed. If you like oysters served properly with Mignonette as well as stock favorites, great cocktails and awesome service, then this is your place. 5 stars from me 👍🏻
Had dinner at Ocean & Acre and our waitress, Isabel, made the whole experience awesome. She was super friendly, upbeat, and really knew the menu, her recommendations were spot on. She checked in just the right amount, kept our drinks filled, and made us feel like we were her top priority the whole night. It’s rare to have service this genuine and effortless. You can tell Isabel really enjoys what she does, and it totally shows. Thanks for making our night such a great one, we’ll definitely be back and asking for her next time!
I had such a wonderful experience at Ocean & Acre thanks to Isabel! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we sat down. She had great recommendations, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure our table was always taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Isabel truly went above and beyond, and her warm personality made the evening even more enjoyable. The food and atmosphere at Ocean & Acre were excellent, but Isabel’s service really made it a 5-star experience. Highly recommend!
They offer great seafood selections, and their chef has created a menu that is reasonably priced. Most individuals can enjoy an excellent meal for between $55 and $ 75, depending on their entrée selection, as well as appetizers or starters. The hushpuppies always hit the spot, but the soups are good as well, and the salads can be shared.
The food was good. The swordfish was dry and not much flavor. Definitely overcooked. The blackened shrimp was good. The fried cod was the best I’ve tasted. The calamari was decent. The Caesar salad was so good. The strawberry berry drink was good but not worth the price. Too little with more ice than drink. Overpriced for the amount of food you get for sure. The service was great. The atmosphere was ok. It’s good to try this place once but would not be my go to for seafood.
The food wasn't season enough for me. We went there my father-in-law birthday. The Crabcake was delicious, but my fish sandwich had too much Slaw on it and the Cod was suppose to be blacken and it wasn't at all. My husband was very disappointed in the Lobster Bisque soup. The Bartender was very nice and very friendly.
Food was good But beware on the Salmon dish (supposed to be served with mashed potatoes and veggies) was $27 But to my surprise i saw extra $7 for mashed potatoes Added pics of menu and bill
