Such a cute and nice restaurant! I went with two friends to celebrate our birthdays. The food and drinks were delicious. Our waiter, Mohamed (hope I spelled his name correctly), was very kind and provided great service. The food is a little pricey, but the quality is so high you can really taste the difference, so we felt it was worthwhile.
second time visiting and had just as an amazing experience as before! food was excellent, service was fast and caring, and i would come back again. server Keelin was super nice and made my visit all the more pleasant. and i definitely recommend the Angel'd eggs!! always delicious
I visited this place recently and had an amazing time. The food was very delicious as well as the coffee and matcha. They have milk alternatives which is great. The decor of this place was stunning! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can have a nice date or have a wonderful time with family or friends. The plates are more expensive than other places that offer brunch. However, the experience it’s all worth it. I highly recommend this place.
Went here this morning for breakfast after doing the school tour, down the street at 11am. Glad I went too!! The restaurant is very pretty, professional and friendly staff. My waitress, Ms. Paris was very nice! I ordered the French toast with turkey sausage, so glad they had turkey breakfast items on the menu for customers like myself..that don't eat pork. With scrambled eggs with cheese and orange juice/water to drink. Not too bad of prices for what you getting. If you are in Roswell, GA area... definitely stop by and give them a try!! 💯😊
Madeline was our server. Very attentive and personable. The food, every single dish was delicious. It was unbelievable! The decor for this place is very plush. Lovely color scheme as well. This place is a gem!
Madeline was an excellent server and waitress. We Walked in on a Sunday around noon, luckily didn’t have to wait. I’ll reserve next time just in case, the food, vibes, and overall experience was that good. 4.7/5 overall!!
The restaurant's design from the walls all the way to the bathroom sink was unique to the restaurant and fun. I'd definitely keep my eye out for things if it's your 1st time eating here. I got the waffles & fried chicken which surprised me by being so good as it was my first time trying it. And a mocktail which had a good amount of foam and wasn't too sweet. The server was very chill, friendly, and quick. My friend accidentally dropped a piece of her bacon and when she asked if she could possibly get another one, the server said yes and came back with 2. The restaurant also takes reservations so if you're coming a bit earlier, or predicting a busy time, I'd reserve. Overall, the restaurant's whole ambience is great for breakfast/brunch with a friend or two.
This was the absolute best food I have had in a long time. They celebrated my birthday with a delicious dessert, on the house no less. Will be back again soon!
I took myself to Morningbirds for brunch on my birthday and I absolutely loved it! The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL inside, so elegant! I had grits & fried catfish, with a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. The grits were creamy and seasoned very well, but not salty. The fried catfish could have used a hint of more seasoning, but I still enjoyed it. I also had a mango mimosa which was really good. Since it was my birthday, the server brought out a sweet treat for me, which was great. They were 2 mini waffles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the mini waffle, along with drizzled syrup on the top. It was a nice little surprise at the end of my brunch. Lastly, the customer service was amazing! I went on a Tuesday around noon, and the hostess was also my server. I can't remember her name, but she was great. I will definitely return again, I highly recommend this brunch spot.
Food, decor and service 10/10. Banana Foster 10... had strawberry cheese cake flavor previously. Mildly addicting. Grits was flavored unlike Ive experienced... and I'm a mild grit connoisseur..lol
Great food and atmosphere! We were seated swiftly and they accommodate if you have a little one (under 2). Beautiful food and interior. Food was timely and we didn't feel rushed. Our server Kayln G. was a sweetheart and so was the hostess who greeted us. Would definitely be coming back.
There are eateries and there are experiences. Morningbirds is the latter. Everything is high quality & finely curated - staff, decor, ambiance, and especially the menu. I ordered The Cardinal - hands down the most tender, flavorful corned beef hash I've ever enjoyed. Austin, my server, was especially kind & attentive. But, all the staff were friendly. 10/10 highly recommend WITH reservations.
The experience is unmatched. This place is so beautiful inside and out, our server was so kind and amazing. Let's talk about the food as well as the presentation of the food!!! Our food was exceptionally delicious and presentation was top tier, hot and fresh melted in your mouth. I definitely highly recommend dining here for brunch if you desire the highest of class.
Enjoyed a beautiful brunch here on a Sunday with my family. Used open table for a seamless reservation and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Madeline was kind and helpful, and all the food was delicious!
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here yesterday and everything gets a “10”, not a “5”! The customer service was exceptional, everything was served within a timely manner and the food and drinks were beyond delicious! Oh, let’s not forget to mention the ambiance…The restaurant is warm, welcoming, decorated beautifully and the music choices were excellent and set at a perfect volume! I just relocated to Georgia from California and this will definitely be on the top of my list for “Brunch Go To’s”!!!
Server Josh was a real delight. All food we tried was delicious and fresh. Gorgeous place. Overall 5 stars! Absolutely go to Morningbirds! So beautiful for a special event. Noted a couple of odd service issues. Had to ask for silverware, had to ask for plates for cinnamon rolls which are served in a gooey hot dish (you have to have plates). Saw other people needing to ask for things that seemed similar to our experience.
I enjoyed a beautiful birthday brunch with my dear friend. First, the decor is absolutely perfect and adorable. There’s not a detail that had been missed. You need to see it for yourself. I loved my cucumber mimosa! We started with the Angel’d Eggs, which are topped with a tiny crawfish tail! I also enjoyed the Swan Song (biscuits and gravy!) and took home leftovers. They even gave me extra gravy! Their cheese grits are amazing. I can’t wait to take my sister and mom for high tea next time. This little place is a gift to our area! Well done!
Saw a video about this restaurant on instagram, and made reservations to take our mom for Mother’s Day brunch. It was phenomenal, the food was amazing, our server Austin was so kind and informative of everything on the menu. He even offered recommendations for me. I’m pretty indecisive, but the expansive menu made deciding what to pick even harder. So, we definitely have to come back a few more times to try all the other things on the menu haha. The place looks so beautiful. I love the flower decor and tea cups are too cute!
We had the most amazing book club brunch at Morningbirds yesterday! We made reservations via OpenTable, which was easy to use and navigate, and I appreciated that the restaurant messaged us directly on the day to confirm as well. Immediately upon arrival, we felt welcomed by the beautiful exterior entry that spills the restaurant's character and charm right out onto the sidewalk, and warmly welcomed by the hostess as soon as we walked in. Our table was a cozy, round corner booth filled with squashy pillows, and it was a perfect nook for our group of 6. Our waitress was so sweet and didn't even bat an eye when our whole table of crazy ladies fawned over her handmade wire jewelry and asked to see it all up close! She checked with us right away on how we needed the checks split, which saved headache later, too. Between the 6 of us, we sampled most of the Mimosas (blackberry, ginger, strawberry, grapefruit, and lavender!) and enjoyed the coffee, too. For our meal options most got The Peacock (with many variations including french toast, waffle, bananas Foster pancake, and a chocolate waffle) eggs (everything from fried to scrambled to omelet style with cheese and veggies), bacon, turkey sausage, grits, and oatmeal. We also had an order of the Lox and Bagels, and the super sparrow (oatmeal) and no brunch visit is complete without an order of cinnamon rolls for the table to share! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every last bite despite some strange timing issues with the kitchen. The manager, Megan, was so kind and gracious when we offered that feedback and went above and beyond making things perfect for our group. She also took the time to explain more information about their tea services and we cannot wait to go back and try that. Morningbirds has charm, vibes, and kindness in abundance, and tasty food on top of all that made this an amazing girls' day out! We can't wait to come back again in the future.
This place outdid itself! The service, the food, the atmosphere is mission point all of the information point I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. I didn't know until I got here that Anthony Hamilton owns this place. That was a bonus!!! Shouts out to his chef! Great recipe for everything we had. The hostess was very professional and accommodating! Meagan Johnny and Brian were are very professional knowledgeable and friendly!
just left, and I must say this place was amazing.. the food tasted fresh and wonderful.. our service was amazing.. I left our waiter[Josh C ]a $20 tip because he was awesome.. we will be back and will bring more friends.. Sensational..
I was visiting a friend who knows me well—she took me to this spot knowing I love a good bougie breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Every detail of the restaurant was thoughtfully designed, from the carved bird decor to the stylish bathroom sinks. The bar area and chandelier were absolutely stunning! The food and drinks were just as impressive. The elderflower mimosa was refreshing, and the coffee was spot on. I loved the avocado toast, and the bacon was chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for an upscale breakfast or brunch experience, this place is a must-visit!
The food is delicious! I had the chicken and waffles and it was scrumptious 😋. I forgot to take a picture of my dish 😬. I love the ambiance and our server today, Paris, had an awesome personality, smile and very attentive. I will be back!
Beautiful restaurant with good food and service. We made reservations for a party of 7 for Sunday brunch at 1:30pm. When we arrived the place wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to be seated quickly once checked in. Our server came over and got us started with water and drinks however we did have a wait of about 10 minutes or so before we were able to place our orders. I chose the chicken and waffles and upgraded my waffles to the strawberry shortcake which was delicious and could easily be served as dessert as it was topped with fresh strawberries a cheesecake type of whipped topping and strawberry and cream cheese icing ( no syrup needed) the wings crispy and seasoned decently i requested hot sauce to give me the kick i needed. And the grits were amazing served thick and savory stoneground i definitely recommend them. My friend got the short rib and grits which they enjoyed they just wish the portion was a bit more generous given the cost of $39. The service was pretty good and the general manager came over to check on up just see how everything was and if anything was needed which was kind of her. At the end they brought one check and we were advised that they could only split it 3 ways (something to keep in mind for bigger parties). Overall the place is super cute with good food if you’re in the sandy springs area I’d recommend checking them out for brunch and they also have takeout.
Absolutely beautiful 😍. This was a little drive, but it was definitely worth every mile. The ambiance was amazing. Warm feeling. Clean and friendly. The waitstaff was everything. Attentive and knowledgeable. The food and the strawberry mimosas were delicious.
Morningirds is a delightful experience all around and I definitely recommend for a nice brunch. The food was elevated, absolutely delicious (and beautifully plated) with a nice depth of flavor. The drinks were really well crafted. Also the portions were generous, staff and service was amazing, and the atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and fantastical. In every aspect there was a care and attention to detail to provide a wonderful dining experience. Bonus, the leftovers were just as good!
The food, ambience and service was great! Madelyn was an excellent hostess! I will be back!
Morningbirds Restaurant is the epitome of excellence! I stumbled upon this hidden gem by viewing a TikTok video. I decided to visit with some friends for brunch and it was better than I imagined. The attention to detail at this restaurant is incredible! The decor is absolutely stunning which provides such a unique experience that is warm and welcoming. The customer service is unmatched! From the hostess to the knowledgeable servers and the awesome manager will leave you feeling absolutely amazing! Honorable mention… Kiasi! She’s amazing! The food is absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh and seasoned to perfection! The cost is very reasonable with no hidden fees or stipulations like most brunch spots in the metro Atlanta area. I was so impressed with this restaurant that the following weekend I came back and brought my family for brunch. I’m honored to support this establishment and I highly recommend you do the same! I will definitely return!
10 out of 10 — I’ll definitely be back! Morningbirds Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. From the cute bench outside that’s perfect for photo ops to the warm, thoughtfully designed interior, everything felt intentional and inviting. The attention to detail is admirable—from the light fixtures to the wall art, the booths, and even the bar. You can tell they poured love into this place. Oh. The menu? Glad you asked… Full of flavor and variety! Whether you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or a full-on meat lover, there’s something for everyone—and it’s all good. Their organic, homestyle meals hit the spot. You leave full, satisfied, and desiring more. The service gave me major “Chick-fil-A” vibes… super pleasant, professional, and kind. You can tell the staff and management actually enjoy being there. The energy was on point—in the room and on the plate! It’s tucked in a plaza, so from the outside, you might not expect the elegance inside. But once you’re in, it’s a vibe. My friend had already been before and said it’s consistently great…and now I see why. Morningbirds, you’ve got a fan in me!
Incredible and we’ll definitely be back! We got here with no reservations around 9:15 on a Sunday and were seated right away. Food was incredible. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Best grits I’ve had in Atlanta, and I don’t say that lightly! Seating was comfy and roomy. Kiasi our server was great. Decor was gorgeous. We’ll be coming back for sure.
Outstanding in every way! Our server, Josh, was very professional and friendly. Food is 10/10. Ambiance 10/10! Can’t wait to return.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary; and it was such an awesome experience. The ambiance here is so nice. The hostess Madeline was very pleasant and friendly. Since this was our first time here she recommended the best breakfast to us and the chef is top notch. Thank you so much we will be back..
Aleza was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. She gave great recommendations and went the extra mile in so many ways. The atmosphere was very cozy and the food was delicious.
Came here for my third time to celebrate my birthday and it was as delicious and pleasant as ever! Always a beautiful atmosphere, great service and delicious fresh food. Madeline was our server and she was delightful, attentive and even gave me a slice of pumpkin pie on the house as a birthday treat. We got the Peacock breakfast which is plenty of food with some left to take home. Pancakes are heavenly, light, fluffy, not too sweet. Highly recommend Morningbirds for a special occasion or anytime treat!
I’ve come here for breakfast/brunch many times both for small annd larger groups. The food is always delicious, service is also always great. Their chicken breast and waffles (I sub for a pancake) is good every time. Atmosphere is so pretty I love coming here for brunch. Typically our server is a young tall gentleman and he’s absolutely great every time. Today Madeline served us and she was also so nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend either of these two, they’re so nice!
Lovely experience, Madeline was great! It got busy right after we got there and she was still very on top of things. Food was fantastic as well, grilled shrimp and grits. My wife had angel’d eggs and a salad and we shared the cinnamon rolls(absolutely delicious!) would definitely return.
the best mac and cheese i’ve ever had in my life, every single thing we ordered (banana fosters french toast, fried chicken wings), everything tastes homemade and is seasoned extremely well. our server was the absolute sweetest and was so attentive even though she had a large party seated in her section. we came here for my mom’s birthday and i’m so glad we did!
The food was just incredible. Maybe the best corned beef hash I've ever had (talkin bout the Cardinal, y'all). Madeline took great care of us; service was prompt, polite, and pleasant. And she was great with our kids! Can't wait to come back!!
The chicken and waffles (especially the syrup) were delicious. The chicken would have been even better with a marinade, but the skin was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The biscuit tasted great as well, definitely indulgent with plenty of butter! The coffee was decent. I also sampled the potatoes and really enjoyed them. I’ll definitely be ordering a side of those next time. Our server, Muhammad, truly made the experience exceptional, along with the beautiful décor. For our friend's birthday, he surprised us with two mini waffles topped with two scoops of ice cream, which was a thoughtful and fun touch.
All I can say is Oh.. My.. Goodness!! The food was absolutely AMAZING. We had short ribs with eggs and potatoes, avocado toast and the most incredible vanilla pancake that was fluffy on the inside and yet butter crispy on the outside. To management: A few things would make it even better. 1) Avocado toasts could have been crispier. I am not sure it was toasted at all. But the flavor = on point! 2) this is a really nice establishment but I was served a cafe latte in a plastic mug. Not a good look. Hot drinks shouldn’t go in plastic at all. 3) leave sugars, salt/pepper shakers on the table so people don’t have to ask. 4) The faux flowers in theory are nice but over time will collect dust. Held in a few sneezes.
I found this place through an online search and I am SO THANKFUL that I did. From the hostess to the server (shout out Mohamed), everyone we interacted with was kind and hospitable. We had brunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Luckily, we had a reservation and only had to wait a little bit. I highly encourage reservations. We started with two mocktails - the mojito and the mule. Both were really delicious. The wait time for the food was pretty long, and to be honest, I planned on giving 4 stars at the least because of the wait time…until the freaking food came out. BEST FOOD EVER. Honestly, everything we had was fantastic. The stars of the meal were the grits, the cinnamon rolls, and the vanilla French toast. It’s the best food we’ve had in a really long time, especially for the price point. We will 100% be back!
Morningbirds is officially one of my favorite brunch spots. And coming from a brunch lover who is also a tough critic, that says a lot. Everything from the service to the food was on point. We started with the angel eggs and they were phenomenal. Flavorful, perfectly done, and a great way to start brunch. I had the catfish and grits and it was seasoned to perfection. Crispy catfish, creamy grits, and full of flavor. My boyfriend ordered the omelette and loved it just as much. Honestly, anything you order here is a win. The espresso martini breakfast cocktail was delicious and exactly what brunch should include. Smooth, balanced, and dangerously easy to drink. On top of all that, the service was incredible. Madeline was an amazing server. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. I cannot wait to come back with friends and make this a regular brunch spot!
We loved this place and would have given them a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the hostess that checked us in. She was unfriendly and unprofessional. She should be trained being the first face of the restaurant. We are the Golden Maltese (lobster and waffles), the King Fisher, The Cardinal and had Cucumber Mimosas and Espresso Martinis. Our server Johnny was great, the decor was cool, the best part is the Food is made with no baddies!
I went to this spot for the 1st time this past weekend and I must say it looks absolutely beautiful from outside to inside. Now the wait was kinda long for your food but everything came out correct and tasted pretty good. I got the omelet & instead of a biscuit got the potatoes, yummy. The side of ham was a little tough to me. My guy got the chicken and waffles, which we both enjoyed because I sampled lol. I was disappointed that they didn't have sugar free syrup as an option, I mean come on now that should be a no trainer. The chicken was fried perfectly and tasted great. I should have not grabbed the "famous" cinnamon rolls to go because for that cost I expected to taste CINNAMON & that was lacking. All in all, I would go back and next time I need to try a drink.
I do not know why this has not came up in my google search sooner. My husband and I go to brunch every Sunday and we always are looking for new places to go. We were so excited to see this pop up in our search this past week. We made reservations the night before, which we loved that it was an option. The atmosphere was so nice. I loved the flowers, birds, and tea decor. The furniture was beautifully done. It was just gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and our waiter was perfect. My Blue Canary drink was so cute and taste delicious. Make sure to order the Cinnamon rolls, they were so good! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and he really enjoyed it a lot. He said that the waffles had a great taste and he liked that they had some crunch to them. I ordered the strawberry shortcake pancakes. I was a little disappointed in it and that's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. If you look closely at the picture you can see the top of my pancake is black because it was burnt. And that's really all I kept tasting. It would have been so good if it was not burnt. But besides that everything was perfect. We will for sure go back.
We had a reservation to celebrate a friend’s birthday, but when we arrived, we were made to wait about 30 minutes for our table. The greeter at the front desk was unwelcoming, and her body language made that very clear. Once we were finally seated, our server spoke so fast that it was difficult to understand him. We asked him to slow down, but he didn’t and simply stated that he was busy. Eventually, we were assisted by a second server who was much more accommodating and did a great job explaining the food. The food itself was good, with plenty of variety—mainly breakfast and lunch options. Parking was also a plus, with plenty of available spaces. Overall, the food and parking were good, but the initial service experience was disappointing.
Let me start by saying: Morningbirds is absolutely beautiful! I was so excited to take my son—who was visiting from Washington state—out for a special mom/son brunch date. The atmosphere set high expectations, and I was eager to show off this place. We were among the first guests on a Friday morning and were seated promptly, but that’s where the smooth experience ended. It took about 10–15 minutes just to receive water. My son ordered an $8 mocktail, and I ordered a $16 cocktail—yet our cinnamon roll appetizer arrived before our drinks. And unfortunately, those cinnamon rolls, while visually impressive, were extremely dry even with the cream cheese frosting. The drinks finally arrived, but mine lacked any of the flair or flavor you’d expect from a $16 price tag. It felt flat, rushed, and uninspired. To be fair, our entrées were absolutely delicious—no complaints there. But the overall slowness and inattentiveness in service really overshadowed the entire experience. For a place with such stunning ambiance and high-end pricing, I expected more. I really wanted this to be a memorable morning with my son, but sadly, it just didn’t live up to the hype.
Visited awhile ago for a birthday lunch with my family. Initially, the ambiance and aesthetic were beautiful and well crafted, which set a great first impression. Unfortunately, the downside came before even ordering, as the service was behind, which affected the overall experience. I ordered the Cardinal breakfast, and while it was good, it didn’t feel worth the price. Overall, I was disappointed, especially after booking through OpenTable and expecting a smoother experience. The space is nice, but the service and value didn’t fully match the setting
For it being me and my husband’s first time here, our experience was underwhelming. We had a reservation booked, and we were originally seated at a table next to service. (Where the servers pick up food/drinks from the bar) There were several booths open-we had to ask to be moved. Our server was extremely nice. Hence the three stars- but I will say she messed up our orders twice. She brought my husband the wrong coffee, and then when we got my entree they brought me turkey bacon instead of the scrambled eggs i originally ordered as one of my sides. We understand that things happen, but then we noticed they charged $8 for the side of eggs! The atmosphere here is beautiful, but the food was not worth the price.
Poor service, waitress seems to be very busy on her own thing on her computer . Restaurant empty and had to wait 10 min to order my food this because I had to stand up and go to her . Coffee came cold , eggs way too oily. And I paid $36 😩😩and still was served in the milk container broke . I don’t even have broke dishes in my house
