From the warm atmosphere and beautiful ambience to the attentive servers, Thai Candle never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious—I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and you truly can’t go wrong with any choice. The service is always top-tier and consistent every single time I visit. A special shout-out to the manager, Noya—she has done an incredible job with the place and always makes me feel genuinely welcomed. I’m obsessed with this restaurant!

So delicious! I took off a couple stars for service because our poor server was also the bartender and obviously stretched thin. So service was a little slow but not his fault. The drunken noodles and green curry sea bass were so good, as was the calamari!

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It is such a cute restaurant, the service is amazing, and the food is out of this world. Bebe makes the BEST Espresso Martini. We will be back and my husband and I are going to make this a regular date night spot.

My girlfriend & I came here for our anniversary!! The service was lovely, food was amazing & we will certainly be coming back! We ordered the Green Curry with chicken, and the Drunken Noodles with chicken & shrimp!

This was my first time here and i love every bit of this restaurant. The ambience, the music, the food, the service and the amount of time it took for the food to be out. We were seated so fast and the food took no time to come out. I’ll definitely be back for more.

This place is definitely a new gem in Alpharetta! Absolutely love this place. For appetizers we ordered salt pepper Thai candle crab dip and crispy ocean breeze variety seafood platter. Both are Amazing!! And for main course we had the steam fish with curry mousse and crab meat fried rice. So flavorful and perfectly cooked! Their signature drink Thai candle mule is simply delicious and beautifully presented! This place is a must try. I can’t wait to return

My boyfriend and i stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday and it did not disappoint! From the warm greetings by the staff, the relaxing vibe of the place, to the fresh & delicious food the chef served - all are top notch! We had the crispy butter calamari for our appetizer and fish curry mousse & grilled oysters for our entrees. All are delicious - So much flavors!! Love the candle and fresh flowers on the table. Make it such a sweet romantic dinner spot. We also had lychee martinis - fresh, not too sweet. It was perfect! Will definitely be back😊😊❤️❤️

My wife and I visited Thailand earlier this year, and this is the closest we've had to that. The Green curry, shaken beef, and mango sticky rice were perfect (though nothing beats Thai mango). Seafood focus was great, but the food was done so well that I'd love to see a little bit more non-seafood too. Tom Kha Gai would be great! Will definitely be back!

This is one of the best Thai places in town! Jordan at the bar makes this place an experience that’s worth coming back for. We always sit at the bar and Jordan is always attentive, kind, funny and genuine. Can’t wait to be back here.

Noya, the manager, was fantastic—checking in on us and making sure we were enjoying everything. The owner, Jira, was just as wonderful and made us feel truly taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing—hot, fresh, and top quality. This place is truly a hidden gem 💎. We give it a solid 10/10 and can’t wait to come back!

Everything was so amazing that we went for lunch and back for dinner later that evening! Our family favorites are the Crab Fried Rice, Three Flavored Salmon & Shrimp, and the Mango Wings. Please visit this amazing restaurant, because you will not be disappointed!!

The food was absolutely delicious, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were truly authentic Thai. I like Chicken Prik Khing Stir fried. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated — elegant, modern, and very inviting. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone who loves genuine Thai cuisine in a stylish setting!

Stopped here for lunch and will definitely be a repeat offender. We were given complimentary edamame and the service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you’re at the Avalon.

Took a date here and had a great experience. The ambience is tasteful and upscale, the food is beautifully presented and delicious, and the service is great. Two servers frequently came to our table, and a manager checked on us as well. I had the green curry salmon, and it was perfect.

The first impression I had when I came to Thai candle was the atmosphere of the restaurant’s decorations and the excellent service of the staff made me so happy. The food was tasty especially the three flavored salmon and shrimp, Ruby Hawaiian cocktail was fantastic.It was truly a very enjoyable experience.

One of the best experiences I’ve had dining, the food was phenomenal, the staff was very attentive. Best thai place in Georgia fr. The appetizers I started off with was the calamari and mussels. I loved the coconut and tom yum soup blend and the heaven duck soo good.

I love this place! Okay, I've only been once, but it was a great time - food, ambiance, service - was excellent. I'm going again this week. The inside is so beautiful. I was surprised to never have heard of this place, it definitely is worth talking about! It also was not very busy for a Saturday night. I think it deserves more recognition! I am so happy I decided to take a chance on it because it is one of the best restaurants in Avalon. Get the word out and give it a try!

Fantastic dining experience. The candle lights set up through the whole room really sets a beautiful atmosphere not to mention a really cool chandelere. Food was spectacular. Spring rolls were crispy, satay was savory and the masaman was filled with spice but not too spicy. Staff was super nice and accomadating. Will be comeing here again!

We had an awesome time at Thai Candle! The food was SO good, service was amazing and the restaurant was absolutely beautiful on the inside. Serving dishes and plates were gorgeous and unique as well, and we really enjoyed our night out. Would wholeheartedly recommend and I will be back!

We ordered an early dinner for delivery and the food was absolutely fantastic. We have tried nearly every Thai restaurant in and surrounding the Alpharetta area and Thai Candle is hands down, the best. Even with it being delivery - there was great attention to detail in the packaging of the food. I appreciated that crispy items were still crispy on arrival, even after leaving the food on the porch for 15 min. Here’s a breakdown of what we ordered: - Fresh Garden Rolls (with shrimp): these were indeed fresh and I enjoyed the amount of veggies and the fact that they weren’t filled with noodles. The peanut sauce was flavorful; next time I will request extra. - Mango Wings: if you love a crispy wing, these are it. Glad the mango sauce was served on the side to keep the wings crispy. Great mango flavor which is a favorite in our house. - Shrimp Egg Rolls: similar to what we find at other restaurants; they retained their crunch and didn’t use “filler” ingredients so the shrimp remained the star of the dish. It’s our go to appetizer anytime it’s on a menu and these didn’t disappoint. - Thai Candle Crab Dip: ordered this because it came up in so many reviews and glad I did! The massaman curry was nothing short of amazing with nice chunks of crab. The roti was cooked perfectly - not overly crispy (which is what I prefer). - Coconut & Tom Yum Soup Blend: loved the blend! The broth had fantastic flavor. - Panang Curry dinner: delicious! The kind of saucy broth that tastes so good you want to drink it. Ordered with chicken and appreciated they aren’t stingy with the protein. - Drunken Noodles dinner: ordered with shrimp and chicken, the dish definitely hit the spot. Happy to be able to adjust the spice level and the mild had enough kick to stay true to the flavors of the dish. The restaurant only does delivery orders from 11:30am - 4:30pm. We look forward to enjoying an eat in experience soon and trying more things on the menu!

My boyfriend surprised me with a beautiful afternoon lunch at Thai Candle Seafood & Bar located at Avalon, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The decor and ambience was so cute & charmy. Jordan, who served as both our waiter and bartender, was truly delightful and made our visit unforgettable. He crafted a signature mocktail for my boyfriend and me that was out of this world. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine politeness completely won us over. We’re already looking forward to coming back and hoping Jordan is our waiter and bartender again. If you visit this restaurant, be sure to ask for Jordan—and if you don’t drink, let him create a mocktail for you. You won’t be disappointed! ✨🍹

Wow. Amazing food. Amazing service. Authentic food and attention. The crab dip is insane. The Salt and pepper shrimp are huge and delicious. Get peanut sauce to dip them into. The owner, Jira, is the sweeteat lady and waiter/bartender Reese is so knowledgeable. I'll be coming back her very often.

Came here on New Year’s lunch with a group of five friends because we wanted to try this place. At the entrance, we were told there is a minimum spend of $40 per person and that the table needs to spend $200+ for groups of five or more. We didn’t really like the way this was communicated at the entrance. However, once inside, the staff was good and the experience improved a lot. The food is excellent and everything has its own distinct flavour, for vegetarian lovers highly recommend the veggie money bag appetizer. We also loved the chicken satay and the garlic bread with crab dip—the crab flavor is next level and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were nice as well. They do add a 20% gratuity. Overall, despite the initial experience at the entrance, the food is really good and worth trying.

This establishment provides a nice ambiance for any special occasion. The food was fresh and arrived fairly quickly. Everything was delicious. I ordered the sample platter appetizer and the shrimp drunken noodles. The portions were sufficient. The male server who initially greeted us as we sat down was excellent. He was very friendly, good eye contact with both of us, and he was personable. I can't say the same for the other server, but I will consider how busy this place was at the time. Overall, I would say we enjoyed the food and ambiance and plan to return.

The service and the ambience were excellent. However the food wasn’t up to the same standards. Expected better but it was not to be. The shrimp required a wee bit more sautéed, the moneybags were a tad oily. Was expecting green beans in the green curry but there weren’t. Had requested thai hot but the food was medium hot. The mango wings sounded great but were regular wings with pieces of mango.

I visited on a Friday night with friends and had a really good experience here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Soft Shell Crab Panang Curry, Thai Candle Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef, and my favorite dish of the night — the Heaven Duck. The duck was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Even if you don’t usually like duck, this dish is a must-try! When it comes to protein, I’d recommend beef over chicken. The chicken was a little dry and bland, but the beef was incredibly juicy and tender — probably the best beef I’ve had at a Thai restaurant in Alpharetta. This is a great spot for both Thai food lovers and beginners. The flavors are balanced and approachable without being overwhelming. Overall, a great addition to the Avalon dining scene.

We started with some drinks, which were excellent. However, I didn’t enjoy the buttered calamari— it was quite chewy and gave me a stomach ache shortly after. The main courses were much better. The shaken beef was outstanding — definitely a 5-star dish. The red snapper was good as well, though it had a slight fishy smell. Overall, the service and ambiance were great, and we enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant.

This is a nice thai place but the place is t as big as it looks in pictures. But the food was really great. Loved their tomyum soup and green curry.

Thai Candle is a great addition to Avalon! We had a fabulous dinner; delicious seafood, good cocktails, and a wonderful ambience.

Had a great time with my family at Thai Candle. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming. The staff are nice, helpful, and pleasant. The food was garnished well with great presentation; however, the taste was just okay.

Food was good but nothing special. I added pictures of the soup advertised versus what was actually given to us. No fire either . Owner said it's not safe. Took an hour to get this $30 soup that had 4 shrimp 2 scallops and a lot of mushrooms. The shrimp egg roll was good but nothing interesting about it. I saw other people dishes and thought portions were not for sharing.

Request a table in the dining room instead of near the bar which is very noisy. I ordered the roasted oysters and expected them to be thoroughly cooked. They were not despite warnings about eating raw oysters. My entree was the fried grouper which was overcooked and tough to cut. The presentation was gorgeous but when eating it you will find very little due to their inclusion of the head and, since it was not filleted, half the fish was inedible as it was impossible to separate the flesh from the bones.

I booked a reservation at Thai Candle yesterday which is a little more than a full month in advance for Valentine’s Day for a party of 10. I received a confirmation, so everything appeared to be set. After confirming, I was later messaged and told there was a $40 per person minimum because they don’t want us to share our food. I explained that our group were half kids. I was then told that was “fine,” with a revised requirement of $40 per adult and $25 per child(6-7 years old) and the party size was adjusted to 9 due to the infant. The next day, I received a cancellation stating they could no longer accommodate us. What’s frustrating is that the reservation was acceptable when they believed they would receive $40 per person, but once they realized children were included, the reservation was suddenly cancelled. Nothing about availability changed, only the expected revenue.This experience makes it very clear that this restaurant is not family-friendly. Instead of gaining long-term customers, they lost six adult customers, along with everyone we know who asks us for restaurant recommendations. If you’re dining with children, or expect honest transparency after booking, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

We’ve been coming to Thai Candle since it was 111, and it used to be one of our favorite spots. The food was consistently delicious and the ambiance was always lovely. Unfortunately, today’s lunch was very disappointing. Not a single item we ordered came out correctly. The tea I ordered was wrong, and when the correct one arrived, it was simply a tea bag sitting in cold water. When I mentioned it, the waitress insisted it was hot. The wrap was served without the sauce, the pineapple fried rice with tofu was completely bland — the tofu had no flavor, not even salt. My daughter ordered basil fried rice, and it came without basil — not even a single leaf. It’s truly disappointing to see that as the restaurant has become more upscale, both the service and food quality have gone down. We really hope they can bring back the standards they once had.
