Today I was in Long Beach for work when I was craving some pizza, but I didn’t want one of those chains Domino’s or Pizza Hut so I went on Yelp and found this place. Wow this place was amazing. My wife got the vegetarian pizza and I got the half-and-half. It was fresh and very hot. All the ingredients were delicious. The people here were so nice. The service was excellent. I wish I would’ve found this place sooner next time. I’m in Long Beach. I would definitely come back. This place is highly recommended if you’re craving some pizza.

I've been searching for a good pizza place after coming back from a trip to NYC. My wife and I tried a slice of the white and a slice of pepperoni and both were great. Best pizza crust I've had on the West Coast in a long time. We tried the meatball sub and the Italian as well and they were really good as well. Massive sandwiches. We plan to go back to try the grandma slices next time we're in the area. Our server was great as well. Very informative and helped us pick out our items.

Hands down Little Coyote makes best pizza in the S.E. Part of Los Angeles. I’m pizza fanatic and very picky due to the fact I’m originally from upstate New York and New York pizza is one of the best. I’ve tried everything on their menu. Our favorites are usually Whole white, Papa Joe, and a veggie. Dine in or delivery , this is a must have when craving pizza.

Pizza is definitely a hit if you like thick pizza and New York style this pizza stands out although it took a long time to get it was definitely delicious

This is a nice little pizza place. It’s kinda pricey. I like their pepperonis, they are small and kinda funny looking but they are great. They also sell something called “grandma squares” but you have to get there earlier in the day because they usually don’t have them towards the end of the day. These pictures show the menu as of 05/02/23

some of the best pizza I’ve had! don’t let the short line fool you, this place does a lot of phone+online orders so waits can be long, but worth it! make sure to order ahead even if you’re dining in. you can’t go wrong with any of the topping combinations!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Get a sicilian square and standard sleuce and YOU tell ME the winner, haha... no losers tho, tbh - both are truly outstanding. And while that crust IS hella.thicke on the square it's nearly-impossibly cloud-like at the same time. Yet still crisp and leaves ya feeling light as a feather unlike most pizza places on Earth. Definitely a product of deep-deep kitchen sorcery and I SUPPORT it fully. Maybe get a side of sauce to go w the square slice?

I absolutely love Little Coyote! The pizza is always fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The crust has just the right amount of crunch and the toppings taste amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Long Beach who wants quality pizza.

The white pie with pepperoni at Little Coyote exceeded every expectation. The crust was crisp on the outside and airy within, providing that perfect foundation for a truly memorable slice. The rich, velvety white sauce paired beautifully with the savory pepperoni, creating a balance of creamy and salty flavors that hit all the right notes. Each bite had a depth that showcased both quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. It is the kind of pizza that makes you stop mid-conversation just to appreciate what you are tasting. Little Coyote has perfected something special here—this pie alone is worth the trip.

Received their menu in the mail today and decided to give it a try. Ordered from the QR code and it was easy to navigate their website. Ordered the meats Stromboli, Horiatiki salad and cannolis. The food was delivered in a timely manner. I was nervous about the cannolis melting on the drive, but they were perfect and delicious. The salad was very tasty and the dressing had a good flavor to it. I particularly liked the cubes of cheese! It was my first time trying Stromboli. I enjoyed it a lot. It was also filled with meats. Definitely going to order again. Thank you!

We have been waiting to try this place. My brother likes the original one on 4th Street. He said it is a bit pricey but good. We found the same thing. I apologize in advance for the length of this review..lol. We decided to dine there, they have an open patio, no indoor seating. We ordered soda, comes in cans and cost just a little too much for cans. We shared the Cesar salad. If you like real Cedar dressing, this is a must! It could do with some shavings of Parmesan (there is a nice amount of finely grated Parmesan). The croutons are made from good bread and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Definitely enough for two to have a nice portion but 3 could split it also. The dressing though was the perfect Cesar dressing and made the salad very enjoyable! The pizza, I would say New York style, easier to eat folded or rolled up, was very yummy. If you are a connoisseur of pizza you can tell that the toppings are fresh, the dough was perfectly chewy with just enough sauce, baked perfectly, with a crisp bottom. The Mozzarella was fresh and flavorful! They sell one size, 16 inch, and it comes cut into 6 large pieces. Again, maybe a couple dollars too much but quality and tasty! We will definitely be returning! Just a tip...order before you come, even if you dine in...it takes an hour to get your pizza even if you are dining there...the waiter told everyone this. New York pizza takes 20-30 minutes in the a hot oven. They can only bake 12 at a time. I assume as they get used to having customers there and a decent take out business they will figure it out. (The 4th Street location is mostly take out.) I predict they will learn to balance a bit better for the customers staying since pizza is their primary revenue source. They don't have appetizers and it doesn't take an hour to eat salad. You can order ahead and then come and eat, another good way to avoid the long wait. Everyone working there is very friendly and we found the restaurant to be clean and liked the way they set the tables up so we aren't squeezing past people in their chairs. I can see they are learning as they go and we are very interested to see where they take this gem from here.

Little coyote does not have much of an ambiance, very lo-if. there are a few basic tables outside. But for what it lacks in ambiance the pizza is DAMN good and more than compensates for its shortcomings in decor, music and seating. We ordered a salad and the Pineapple Express pizza - salad? It was ok. The pizza on the other hand was super cheesy and was topped with generous spread of bacon, pineapple and jalapeños, we ordered all the side dips. I like to mix my bites with the honey and spicy oil dips. I savored ever bite. the genius is in the crust, soft but has a textured crunch, seriously other level. I would highly recommend this destination to all pizza lovers

My server was awesome. He was friendly from the moment I walked in and delivered my slices with a smile. The pizza was just meh. Crust was overly thick on the pepperoni slice and super thin on the cheese slice. The worst part was the total lack of cheese on either slice. The dough itself was tasty. The pepperoni's were tasty too. Two slices and a can of soda for just over $13 is a bit much in my opinion. Please put more cheese on your pizzas and I will be back to try again.

When I first moved to Long Beach from Brooklyn I was excited that I found Coyote Pizza. I’ve been going there for 2 years now and the one thing I can complain about is the consistency of the pies especially during the night. Not sure if the kitchen gets lazy since it’s ending of day but the pies were super soggy. Nothing breaks a New Yorkers heart more than a soggy pie. Kind of disappointed will be looking for more consistent pizza place.

The pizza was delicious! If you like thin crust you will enjoy every bite! Will definitely return. The ingredients are fresh and the patio is a nice place to relax. I really want to try their meatball sub next. Update: Second visit tried the meatball sub and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend!! UPDATE: Unfortunately I need to edit my review of this place. I ordered pizza, calzone and my favorite meatball sub last night. The meatballs were not the same. Half were burnt black and smaller. The sandwich was inedible. Did not resemble the homemade delicious meatballs I first tasted on previous visits. There’s tasted store bought. Very disappointed as this was my favorite place to get a meatball sub. Not sure who is quality control here but they utterly failed.

Where to begin..... I really wanted to like this place. I understand that they have another location and it has high reviews so I decided to try it on a Saturday night. Pulled up and saw a short line coming out the door and thought this place must be good. Got closer to the register and was told it would be an hour and twenty minutes for a pizza. Thought I really don't want to wait that long but I'm already here and wanted to give it a try so I place the order. An hour and a half later I decided to check how much longer it would be and I was told another twenty minutes. Thirty minutes later it's finally ready. So after two hours of waiting for the pizza I rush home and can't wait to take a bite. Open it up and it looks good. Take the first bite and I was underwhelmed. It's just average. By far NOT the best pizza in LA, not even Long Beach! There are several other pizza places in the area that are much better (I won't name them so you won't think I have dubious intentions) with less than an hour wait. Didn't even save the leftovers for the next day. Again I really wanted to like this place as it's walking distance from my home but was left really disappointed.

Its unfortunate because I have been here multiple times and also delivery. The very first time my pizza was burnt (black on bottom) but now lately the pizza just is soggy. So disappointed.

Been here many times and it’s slowly been getting worse. This is the second time in a row my pizza is super soggy in the middle and just falls apart. The bottom of the pizzas is barely cooked and just not good.

This is insane. The grossest pizza I’ve ever had. So disappointed. We spend more than $50 on this. This is so full of grease the pizza is so thin because of all the grease it was falling apart. Disgusting.

I ordered and prepaid two pizza’s online. Went to pick it up at the time indicated on my order. Someone else had picked up my two pizzas, before me because I guess reading names and verifying orders is hard for workers at little coyotes as well as some customers. He had ordered 1 pizza , picked up 2 returned and ended up with 2 free pizzas and came back for “his” initial order, so that is 3 total . I the meantime I wait an additional 40 minutes for little coyote to redo my pizza order , that I am still paying full price for by the way - I did not get my meal comped, I was offered a beer but I was driving so no. This does not feel right.
