Great place for food. A little outdated but the food is amazing and prices are reasonable!!
Wings so good I’m planning a trip from Missouri to Florida so I can get my wing basket from wings n things. I’ve been eating here since I was in middle school and I turn 40 this year. These wings are my benchmark that all others are compared to. The only thing that’s changed over the years are the French fries (a used to be curly fries). This is one of the few restaurants that have continued to provide the same great taste for decades instead of minimizing costs at the expense of the flavor. Tastes as good today as they did when I was 12.
I love eating here, I've been a fan since they opened. I've never had bad service or an inattentive server. The food has always been great, and I absolutely love their sushi. Update: so I still love eating at this place. The chefs could be mote lively but the food is still always great as well as the service. I'll be sure to take pictures next time we go.
I've been to this location several times & there always on point!😋 Food is good and consistent, staff is friendly.
I've gone to this wing place for..!!!.20 years.!!!..and it's still the best tasting and fast wing place.. there house ranch is my FAVORITE always order extra.. sauces are good and true to description. Mild is just flavor with none of the heat, mild is a little hot and hot was HOT..lol ☺
Great food great service and great prices
Went on Wednesday night at 5 pm. Was not super busy. Service was spot on. Definitely worth the price and food was excellent. My party of 4 sat at the hibachi and loved watching the food bed made right there. The amount of delicious food you get is definitely worth it. We will be going again.
My Husband and I went to a festival this weekend, and they were serving their wings out of a food truck. And Man did this place not disappoint! HANDS DOWN BEST WINGS IN ORLANDO! we had their sticky icky and Cajun ranch flavoring on the wings and now we are ready to try them all! Thank you for giving us our next and best wing spot!
Has to be my favorite wing spot. The wings are always cooked thoroughly and the flavors are really good. The wings are smaller than other places, but they are better tasting in my opinion than most. This place recently changed owners, but for the most part have been able to keep up the great taste. Customer service is great! For those who like all flats, can get them if desired. I would consider it a must try if you are into wings.
Walked in closer to closing time than we wanted (20 til 9), but that didn't phase the staff in the least. We were seated at a grill table. Just me and my husband. 2 tables full of people were eating or in the process of getting their food as we sat down. We had fantastic service, the chef was very nice and chatted with us as he cooked. The other tables left and we had the place to ourselves. We felt like royalty. I think every server stopped by our table at some point. Bringing drink refills, clearing plates, checking to make sure we were doing okay, did we need anything??? bringing to go containers, etc. AND, the food was VERY GOOD!! We will be back again very soon.
Needed my ATL like wing spot and this probably the closest I can get but it got the job done. The wings were good.
I'm 33 and have been coming here since my senior year of high school. Wings are delicious and it's always got people picking up orders. 10/10
Great local place for wings! I've been coming here for over 10 years now. Definitely order an extra large ranch and also an order of corn nuggets. Always recommend this place. Thanks!
I went back for more after 1st visit. So that was 2 days in a row. No change is quality or taste of food. I thought I would need to eat in the car to get full experience with food being hot but taking it home made no difference, it was good. Of course my fries were a little cold but that was on me. A few minutes in the air fryer and they were back. Staff is friendly and establishment was eat in worthy. Will definitely continue to go here. Reminds me of hometown ( Wash, DC). I'll try next time with mumbo sauce😂
Had a great time! Food was great and service was awesome! Our chef was very entertaining and made the experience that much better. We enjoyed our family dinner for my mom's birthday. First time she had ever been to a hibachi grill. Will definitely return and hope we get him again or someone just as entertaining ☺️ he was a hoot
Mikado has merged with Pho 99 Fusion! Pho 99 was located on Blanding and 103rd but they have recently moved in to Mikado! Such a nice restaurant accommodates big crowds , nice, clean and kid friendly. I’ve tried both hibachi at Mikado side which was amazing and I’ve had the Pho 99 which was the main reason we have visited. Hands done yummy and the owner Vivian is such a sweet heart. We will be returning for sure! Five stars
This place is fantastic. Really pretty inside and the food was great! We had tempura and hibachi dinners. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Since covid I’ve been less likely to go out to dinner because service is so spotty but at Mikado before I could Even ask for a napkin the waitress had appeared with one. Def will be going back here for dinner soon! 10/10 perfect night out spot
Got Chicken Teriyaki Bento and it was very good. Interior and exterior of restaurant was in good condition and staff were very nice. They gave me a cheesecake because it was my birthday, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to take someone here for their birthday.
Have missed coming here! We moved to Mandarin, but used to come all the time when they were right on Phillips and when they 1st moved. The spicy tuna rolls were great, and the sushi chef was very accommodating to add eel to the top as a special request (for a small extra charge) Also when inquiring about salmon and masago eggs we were given a sample of the latter and decided to add it on top of the sushi rolls. They have the best Miso soup and the rice was good. BTW the wasabi- very hot!! 🔥👍😉

The greatest hot wings ever. I’ve traveled the world eaten wings everywhere. These wings are the best. Make sure you get hot sauce!!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Im picky about wings and this place was a lucky random find. Will DEFINITELY be going back.
Enjoyed the hibachi with my fiancee today. It was very slow due to it being early on a weekday - only us two in the whole building. It made the service quick and personable. The food was great, but the prices weren't. Management should look into weekday special options :)
Been here a few other times and remember the chef(s) to be more entertaining. Today's chef was friendly, but not very talkative. Already sitting with a bunch of strangers this didn't help to break the ice. The food was good. Definitely can't complain there.
So, I tried this pre-broiled/fried chicken wings place and honestly, it could’ve been fried a bit more for that extra crunch. The sauce had a nice kick to it, but the chicken wings were pretty basic. On the bright side, the guy at the front was super chill and provided great customer service.
We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and were seated promptly. The server came out to take our order and it seemed that she was capturing everything appropriately, but brought my sister's order out incorrectly twice (since hers had to be specially cooked in the back). The portions of the food served were huge, the entertainment value that's usually associated with a hibachi grill was incredibly low. But the food was good. I may try a different hibachi grill next time. If you find this review helpful, please press like below.
Visted July 2018. Reasonable priced Hibachi. We ordered the Dinner for two special. Which included an upgrade to Filet Mignon, along with the shrimp and Lobster. Very generous portions. The Chef and other staff were very friendly. The Sake was good🍵🤙
I was on my lunch break and knew I needed to find something quick. We ordered two lunch bento boxes, one chicken katsu, one salmon katsu. The staff was friendly and the soup was nice and hot ☺️
This location is tucked away off of US-1/Phillips Hwy. Plenty of parking and convenient to the Avenues Mall. The exterior & interior is well maintained, the staff is very friendly and polite. We attempted to get in an early dinner around 430. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay and eat as the Baby was being fussy this time. So, when we do get to stop in and eat I will update the review and let you know how the food and service at the hibachi grill is.
Just a small hole in the wall kinda place. Not a whole lot of variety on sauces but the sauce I got was great. Chicken was crispy and mild sauce was tangy just the way I like it. I did notice that the chicken was not coated in the sauce. The sauce kinda settled to the bottom of container and of course, the sauce is the best part. I give them 3.5 stars. Bonus: they are located near a dollar tree so go buy a bottle of soda! Some of the best Asian wings located in Orlando.

One of the LAST Wings and Things left in Florida. Friendly owners, but the buffalo sauce was SOOO watered-down there was no flavor. Wings were tiny, but fries were well-portioned. Good prices, but now I know why.
Staff is great no problems there, Ginger salad was delicious. Shrimp and rice were good too! But the hibachi chicken tasted like it literally had been soaked in soy sauce. It was even worse after re heating it. Please fix this. Last few times we went here it was nothing like that. Idk what happened but if you get hibachi, DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN.
Lots of tables and accommodations for large groups. Service was prompt. No dessert options. Scallops and lobster were over cooked and salty. Rice had a lot of soy sauce dumped in during the cooking process. The experience felt rushed at times. Shrimp was good. Steak was low quality. Ginger salad was fresh and delicious. Soup was fantastic.
Dropped in for a quick lunch to take home. The building is exactly want you want in a sole proprietor wing restaurant. The service was great and we were out the door in less than 10 minutes. Went with a 12 piece basket medium. However the wings were just ok. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

It’s a no from us. Went early on a Labor Day weekend (6pm Sunday). Sat at the hibachi with a strange group of people, lackluster service, coughing hibachi chef with zero flair. Watched the group behind us getting the full experience was kinda disappointing. $125 for flavorless, sad food. Lesson learned. Miso soup was bland, probably a powder. Ginger salad was extremely wet, fried rice/veg was made with only oil and soy sauce(chef didn’t add butter/ salt/pepper). Wham ban thank you maaam kinda service

Food extremely over salted. The floor was slippery from grease and lack of cleaning. It was at least eighty degrees in the restaurant and very uncomfortable. We asked for extra plates as we had a celebration cake and were told there would be a $5.00 charge for them! What???!! With our group of 13, we spent about $500 so to charge for plates was a little unreasonable and did not show appreciation for our business. We felt very rushed to finish and leave. Staff stood close by ready to charge over and clean the tables. This seems a little obsessive and irritating. Most, if not all, in our group decided we would not be back. We prefer Kyiobi on Kingsley or Kan Ki on San Jose. Will choose one of those in the future.
We do take out since it is closer to our house but after today we will be finding somewhere else. It is supposed to come with celery and this time they gave tiny slivers of celery and when my husband asked for more since you can barely call it a piece worth since they are tiny they said they would have to charge extra. They also gave no ranch either. They are very stingy and not good with their amounts. We get different amounts of things everytime we order.
We usually go to another Japanese steakhouse but they were closed. We were celebrating a birthday and decided to try this place out. HUGE disappointment. The food was not so good and the cook did not put on a show at all. He made a fire on the flattop grill twice and then tried to spin an egg and it cracked. He then just carried on as a cook would in a rear kitchen and cooked our meal. At $35 a plate , we expected to have some laughs and see a good show as we are used to at other competitors. We won't go back. :(
Menu is confusing. They don't tell you what is cooked in front of you and what is made in the back kitchen. Staff was rude and did not help to clarify. We had 14 people but they refused to give us 2 chefs, so only half of us got to see the actual hibachi. The chef himself was very boring compared to other hibachi places, he didn't talk at all and had no entertaining tricks. The experience definitely did not justify the price and I would recommend staying away from this place.
The food was delicious and fresh but the little guy cooking (hibachi) was lackluster and the waitresses, OMG. They stand over you and watch your like a hawk and as soon as you turn your head they come around and try to take your plate or soup. Very invasive.... I don't think I'll be going back there ever again! That food is too expensive and they ruined my dining experience.
This was a hard review to write. I love this place. First thing first this is not the reason I gave them one star but people are going to ask because it's still important to a lot of people. They are now packing the tables. Elbow to elbow no masks. Ok I went there with 2 other family members. And we all spent the whole night and part of the next day in the bathroom. I am not sure if I will go back for a while. But I will leave on a good note. The service was excellent.
My wife and I had planned on eating some hibachi since we hadn't been quite some time. I was very upset with this place. Instant regret when ordering the shrimp as they were not deveined. The sushi was subpar at best extremely fishy smelling as in old. Very gristly steak even. With a price point that is far outside the bounds of realistic for what was received. Would not recommend to anyone. Your money could be spent best elsewhere.
Food not that good. Ordered 10 piece combo. It came with one small ranch that was enough for 2 wings and 5 fries smh. You have to pay 54 cents for those small extra cups. They do not know how to make real mild sauce. As in the picture they combined too much butter with hot sauce and it didn't coat the chicken. Will not return.
Worst food. Fries is garbage wings old, tiny, crispy and barbecue sauce runny and nasty with a teaspoon of ranch. It was definitely a waste of time and waste of money don’t even deserve a star
