Came here after a hiking trip with my family and our dog. The owner was great, he set up a table for us outside, offered food and water for our dog. Amazing customer service! 🙌🏽 The food was delicious , the ambiance and location were great, the restaurant is clean and spacious. We had a great experience overall!!! Totally recommended!!
I LOVE GREEK FOOD.... but I really love Greek food when it is as tasty as Santorini Greek Restaurant. We have been looking for our go to Greek restaurant and my goodness does Santorini satisfy. The atmosphere is charming and our server could not have been kinder. Extremely happy to have found this amazing place. You owe it to yourself to go and try it or to get takeout!!!
Went with a rather large group but the team there handled us beautifully. Pita and hummus at the start was delicious. Veggie moussaka (think Greek lasagna) did not skimp on the veggies. Quite a few of us got the platter that included lamb gyro meat, grilled chicken, and kofte, which was all super flavorful. Chicken soup (avoglemono?) was had wonderful lemon tang with a light spoonful of person. Greek salad was refreshing and well put together. Those of us with a lighter appetite found the chicken/beef on a stick options satisfying with well-seasoned meat. One heads up is that we did have a 4% credit card fee attached to our bill. So either be prepared to pay that on top of tax and tip (don't stiff them because you choose CC), or bring cash!
Excellent Mediterranean cuisine from start to finish. Great little place to stop by for lunch. The owner/staff are very accommodating and generous as well. Would visit frequently if it was local to us
Went for lunch with a friend. We picked place randomly and were pleasantly surprised. Service and food were wonderful and the cost was reasonable. Will definitely go back again to this quaint little gem!
This place was amazing. I lived 5 years in Crete and it took me back. We had saganaki cheese and lamb kababs. It was so flavorful and fresh. The service was great! We were there during lunch at a festival so I wasn't expecting such fast service. What an awesome experience.
Santorini Greek Restaurant was a revelation! The service was excellent and all of the waitress were big advocates for their customers. The place serves food that has the highest quality ingredients and preparation but it has a great family vibe. Alex the owner makes you feel like a family friend you have known for years from the moment you step inside with her contagious personality. Once you visit Santorini Greek Restaurant you will definitely come back again and again.
Food was great 😃 it's a nice little gem. But be aware that if you are a group they automatically charge you a 25% tip is added to your bill. I was not too thrilled about that because we weren't aware it was that high or automatically added to your bill. We were a group of 7.
Fantastic food! Loved everything about this place. It was charming and quaint. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to our family. I grew up on gyros from a family member and most places don't taste as fresh and this place killed it! I will definitely be back here when we are in town!
A+ restaurant !!! Friendly staff - very nice restaurant that’s clean with a good ambiance and very comfortable chairs and tables. Above all the food was delicious and portions were generous and good prices. Boyfriend and I had chicken slouvaki platter, chicken bacon honey mustard wrap and a Greek salad + pita bread w zaatar and hummus. The chicken was juicy, the meat very tender and the Greek salad was very good : fresh veggies and feta cheese - including the dressing. For dessert we had the baklava cheesecake which was also very good. Would recommend - very charming restaurant in a cute little town. We went on Easter and the restaurant was quiet. Only drawback however was the restaurant didn’t have free wifi.
This is a very cute restaurant. They give you pita and delicious hummus for free. I had a chicken souvlaki sandwich. The tzicki was very good. They had a nice selection of Greek beer. The service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Best food in sleepy Hallow, I went for the tour of the town during October headless horseman season I know, and I was so happy to see a nice cute restaurant in a quieter part of town. The service was great we were brought hummus and warm pita right away. I got the shrimp Santorini and asked for orzo instead of linguine and they brought me out a Greek salad too. My girlfriend got the chicken lemon soup she absolutely loved it. She also loved the beef souvlaki. If I’m up in Sleepy Hallow I have a new favorite place to take family.
I walked only one in the place around 5:15pm, asked to use bathroom, the floor was too greasy that scared me because I did not order yet. I got the Broiled Bonzini, wife got Gyro platter and son the Elias burger minus bacon . It took about 20 min to receive the order but the food was great except for the hummus, that tasted like it came from a can . They brought pita bread covered with Zaatar and olive oil which tasted great. Overall was happy
Restaurant is too small to be comfortable, food is really expensive for what it is. Paying fine dinning prices for a tiny hole in the wall with horrible service is not my idea of a good time. Tables that left sat dirty for over an hour with no bus boy or clean up crew to be seen
I came in from PA to spend a weekend with my family in the Bronx. They planned an outing to Sleepy Hollow for the day. As a New Yorker for 45 years and now semi retired in PA, I was very much looking forward to this since 2019. We visited small shops, walked around, saw the parade, and so on. Since I had read on Friday that the area would be busy I made a reservation for us online to dine Saturday October 25th. We arrived and were seated quickly. That was the best part. No table service with utensils nor napkins. I had to request these for our table and when the teen girl brought it to us it was not properly handled, still wet, and no napkins! I told her just hand them to me and I wiped them down and distributed to family. Food - literally 65% of what we ordered was not available- no burgers, falafel, even Pelligrino, and again iced tea. My nephew had to order a meal he didn't like, my lovely niece had mac and cheese that was swimming in cheese. I was now miserable and upset.😡 I work for a hospitality group in Milford, PA and couldn't wrap my head around how this was even happening. The waitress really wanted to hide I'm sure as I questioned the situation at hand several times. I heard some loud lady in the kitchen yelling about spinach and something else. The lady who was yelling earlier was now on the dining room asking about meals and that the event street closure caused issues. What issues - you're either prepared with additional provisions for these events or you're not. This could not be their first rodeo. As a topping to this evening, the bathroom was a disaster. Apparently 10 minutes of someone visiting both for a quick clean up was beyond their scope. The 2 teens working there looked miserable and not trained at all. How do you bring water to a table and have your fingers in the as you set it down. They looked dazed and confused 😕 🫤
Just okay! The meat is just okay. Beef overcooked dry. Salad is not Greek salad delicious. The “sautéed vegetables” is just frozen veggies steamed up. Look at the photos to judge Does not taste Greek The cups smell sort of bad. The glass drink cups and table napkins have a certain smell that isn’t good when trying to enjoy a meal
We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and didn’t leave until almost 8 p.m. because the food took forever to come out. We tried to be understanding since the restaurant was very busy and asked to move to an indoor table because it was very cold outside and I had my pet with me. After asking several times, I finally spoke with the manager, who apologized and said she would have us moved. However, none of the servers helped us relocate—we had to move everything ourselves and find a new table. The manager later came by to check on us and kindly offered drinks, but when the food finally arrived, one of the dishes (the shrimp) was cold, and two of our plates were missing items that were supposed to be included. We decided to eat anyway since we had already waited so long. We also had to ask for silverware three times before it was finally brought to the table. When the waitress came back, we asked for the check and mentioned one of the dishes that wasn’t right, saying we didn’t want to wait any longer. Her response was that “everyone had to wait,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I told her that such delays are not the customers’ fault—it’s a management issue. She only acknowledged the food mistake but not the long wait. Soups were good
