Great split pea soup and friendly quick service. Several visits recently and I experienced consistent good service. Warm welcome for family and children and suitable menu options as well. Overall a solid diner and good people on the staff that work quickly and seem eager to help customers.

Dobbs Diner is always a go-to for weekend breakfast/brunch. They offer many choices and have talented chefs. Overall a very good experience with reasonable prices although it can get crowded at times. Sabino is fantastic; he always has a positive attitude and is friendly to all guests. He is able to brighten anyone's day.

Dobbs Diner is always a an excellent, little local spot. It's filled with great people, who If you go more than twice will remember your name, and always provide the best quality service. At Dobbs you're right at home and Mom's cooking all your childhood favorites. Service is speedy but you're not going to be in any rush to get out of the cozy atmosphere! I had the Dobbs deluxe which consisted of two pancakes, 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon and 2 generous sausage links. All of it was delicious! Dobbs has great prices and is a staple for me and my girlfriend to go to everytime I pick her up from college. Thanks again for another great experience!

This diner has been around for years. It's a small little community gathering spot for the residents as well as visitors. Every time I've gone to this diner in the past 30 years, it's been just a nice atmosphere of a little town diner.

Okay, we were there visiting at Mercy college for my Goddaughter and was looking for a place to eat and we decided on Dobbs Diner. Well, this place and its service was FANTASTIC!! I ordered and appetizer and 2 minutes later there it was fresh and hot. We were like that was fast and it was so good. Then when it came to our meal boom we didnt wait long at all there was our meal! The service is unbelievable and the food is great and cooked to perfection. Plus, they have beautiful paintings of Greece on the walls. Love it! Oh and the prices are reasonable for Westchester area.

A hometown diner that serves good tasting quality food with quick service. Had the Russian panini which was wonderful, and the hamburger had a thumbs up! Prices were on point. I would make this a regular spot.

A traditional American diner. After flying all day with little to eat, we were headed to a nearby hotel and realized there would be nowhere to eat if we checked in to our hotel first. Dobbs Diner had been recommended to us by locals, and although it was closing in less than thirty minutes from when we called, and they had already cleaned the kitchen, they agreed to have two medium rare cheeseburgers ready for us to pick up in 15 minutes. The burgers were generously sized and delicious, with really fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and great dill pickles. The proprietor was friendly and thanked me for our business. Less than five minutes after we left, the lights were out and everyone had gone home. Waiting for us to arrive for such a small order reflected a real focus on customer service. All in all a great experience!

Love this place. Great service, food is very good and reasonably priced, good for kids. Only problem is lack of parking.

What more can you ask for in a diner? Great food, great service and looking forward to going back soon. It definitely can get busy at certain times on the weekend but you always get a seat and never feel that you are not getting your food in a timely fashion.

Extensive menu, great food and attentive, friendly service. I had the salmon burger on toasted pita with crisp sweet potato fries...very fresh and perfectly cooked. My friend enjoyed her beef burger with sauteed onions & swiss on rye. Definitely above average diner worth checking out.

Pretty classic American diner experience, though perhaps less greasy. Solid portions and good, hearty flavours. The Virginia ham steak and eggs is a fantastic breakfast and the chicken parm hero is a tasty lunch I can recommend. One other thing to note is that there is a small surcharge if you are paying with a card rather than cash.

This diner is perfect. If you looked up diner in the dictionary this would be the definition. My wife and I LOVE their omelette. The eggs are so fresh like from a farm and their home fries are real potatoes. I also use this spot to break my intermittent fast so I get the bacon egg cheese wrap and that slaps too! Also, we had their fresh squeezed orange juice today and that was like a desert it was so delicious. Also, the whole staff is Greek and nice and kind and friendly and welcoming. GO!

I asked for over-medium egg and it’s perfectly done. Not runny, just gooey, which I like. Most diners couldnt make it right. The pancake is soft and I love it. The bacon is crispy! The sausage tastes just right. ♥️

Went there with a party of 7. 5 kids, 3 adults. Plastic Kids cups with lids were a nice touch. Kids menu had lots of choices as did the regular menu, I had a skirt steak and a scoop of egg salad. Both were great and the service was fast.

It was a decent nice diner. The waitstaff was great. Very busy which is always a good sign to me. Ordered the Belgian waffle which was nice and fluffy and chicken tenders was tasty, moist and stayed hot the entire meal. I believe the matredi stopped by quickly with a joke. I enjoyed my visit and would come back when I'm in the area again. I highly recommend this place also as a family diner.

Dobbs Diner is a long-time favorite among locals. The menu is extensive. The classic diner decor is authentic. The staff is helpful and the food is reliably good. Step back in time and indulge in a real milkshake made the good old fashioned way! A vanilla milkshake and grilled cheese is my aunt’s favorite. The egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms, Swiss, and a side of salsa is MY favorite!

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning at a usually busy time of the morning. We were seated as soon as we arrived (party of 6) and were attended to promptly. The food was hot and tasty. There were only two glitches that we came across. The food arrived at 3 separate intervals for whatever reason. My particular meal arrived with a little extra something on board. I called it to the attention of the restaurant staff and they were gracious to not charge me for the meal. I would eat here again despite the glitches because I understand that this isn't a perfect world. By the way, my scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly.

The waitress was very friendly. I rate high for good service. Good service winds up being at least as important when dining in. I wish I’d asked the woman’s name. I had a bacon swiss burger deluxe. It was a good burger.

Had the grilled cheese with bacon & tomato, very tasty. Cooked just the way I like it. Kids had silver dollar pancakes and mac and cheese. They gobbled them up. Staff very nice to children.

one of the last Neighborhood Diners , I Grew up In Dobbs and moved back with my wife apx 8 years ago. telling her about the diner , and now we eat there at least once a week. the staff are Great. The Food is Great. Warm , Friendly , Inviting . Best of all it's right here in Town , and I can walk there and Home and enjoy this wonderful town.

Really good service with tasty food, portions are normal not huge so if your really hungry you may want to consider that. Not the prettiest place but a low key place to have a good meal. Parking can be tough if it's busy but there's usually parking around the corner in the residential area. Would definitely go back.

It's a diner: exactly what you expect. It's 4/5 stars overall because it's a nice diner and the staff are friendly, but it's just an average diner in every regard. They have a few items that are great, some that are average, and some not so great, just like any diner. Nice staff, nice friendly environment, and you can easily order stuff for pickup too which is very convenient more often than not. If you live in Dobbs Ferry, want some food one day and cannot think of what you want, if you go here you'll figure it out.

A mainstay local diner in Dobbs with a real family feel. I’ve been coming here for at least two decades. The food is standard diner fare, but the service is always great and they make you feel at home. If you’re from the area you’ll more likely than not bump into someone you know here.

Typical no frills diner fare. Simple, convenient and reasonable. Love the breakfast menu and the consistency with the service and food. No unpleasant surprises and dishes are always prepared as expected. Staff is very well trained and accommodating— they do not hover too much and know when to attend to you and when to give you space. The waitress I had was very sweet and caring. I actually prefer dining here even if the food is not tip top notch as other diners just because the service is just as great as more high end restaurants in the area.

I love places diners where they just take your order, bring you good food, and leave you alone. This fit the bill. I had the waffle, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Waffle was delicious. Eggs were a tad overdone. Bacon was perfect. For $3.50, coffee could have been better but it hit the spot. The server was no no sense. The place was clean, had an extensive menu, and served great portions. All a diner should be. I would happily return.

The food came out quick. Service was good. My breakfast burrito didn't have much flavor. My girlfriend gave me her rye bread and it wasn't buttered much and the flavor was lacking. She was happy with her eggs and bacon. Can confirm her french fries were delicious.

Ok so check it out. I was there, and I ordered one of the hardest things to make right, from my experience, a Philly cheese steak. Before i dive into the food, I want to say that the staff were amazing. The environment is very clean and certainly a great spot to enjoy your time. Now on to the food. The bread was too soft, not my preference. They put mozzarella cheese, and it was too overpowering. It dominated the steak. The peppers were nonexistent. The fries were good, very good. Strawberry milkshake tasted like candy, way too sweet. And it came with no whip cream on top. Would I eat here another time? Yes with my friends. Alone, I would not.

Decent food. I orded an omelet and homefries..both were over cooked. Waiter was friendly but had to track him down a few times. The decor absolutely needs an upgrade.

Standard greasy spoon. A little pricey for the quantity and value. Hard to find a good value diner around the area anymore. Gyro panini with sweet potato fries were 24 with tip. The panini was just a pita grilled, not bread.

Gone there many times and is average but expensive. The latest (and last) time I went there was a hair in my food and they still charged me! If I hadn’t gone many times before that I would give 1 star.

Went in on a Tuesday around 5:30 PM. Place was deserted, which was nice because we had our 1 year old in tow. Staff were great, had a highchair ready to go. Food was good but not amazing. Would definitely stop in again for a quick lunch.

I would say the food that I've had here is average. Then again, there might be things on the menu that are excellent. I've tried their corned beef/ pastrami combo on rye, I've had some of their salads and burgers. I prefer the Ardsley diner as far as the quality of ingredients, especially their hamburger meat and their salads. I would say this is average diner fair.

Typical diner feel. There's definitely certain things that are better than others. Had a great experience with the tuna melt this past visit but prior to that the gyro was lacking on meat. It's not your typical diner where you feel like you get a lot of food for a reasonable price.

First off, service is good. People are nice Gas expensive next door. Food is ok, portions are on the small side. See omelet pic, that's not 3 eggs, unless it's from a baby chicken. Potatoes are ok. Small cup of orange juice 4.50 dollars. 2.50 for side of Nutella.. Overall I would pass. When I go out, I go pit with2 of my kids, sometimes my teen joins. I look for good food for a good value.The taste, the portions and the good service doesn't justify being overpriced

In common Diner fashion, they cater to the elderly, their food is generally bland. Nothing to write home about. They definitely use a strange mix of chemicals to clean, it stinks up the whole restaurant with a bleach smell, I definitely had a hard time keeping my food down smelling all that while I was eating.

Food is good but for some reason I always feel rushed when I'm there. There's a waitress there that gives me the side eye sometimes and seems a little rude. I looked around that particular day and I realized that I was the only one there that wasn't white. My friend also doesn't go there because she gets the same awkward glances, it's a little offputting.

Breakfast is great! However be careful if you order a burger. The burgersare pre-made patties, no flavor and taste old and like they were frozen. They immediately made my daughter cramp and go to the bathroom. My youngest didn't even bother taking more than one bite. The wraps are good.

Quick dinner bite. The waitress was nice. I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti ($24). It was not appetizing. The portion was small, but the chicken was a big piece. The flavor was lacking, and I had to ask for the bread that came with the dinner. I was given a Hawaiian roll heated up in a microwave. We did not take home any leftovers. Will not order dinner next time. I will probably keep it safe with a coffee.

The smallest tacos I've ever had for 17 bucks. The waitress was rude when I asked how big are the tacos. Don't come here your better off going to Olympic dinner a few miles away. But they do have good onion rings. My boss also had the burger he said he the meat tasted funny. STAY AWAY!!!

Bad experience. Food was incredibly mid and overpriced. and had an abundance of ants on the wall. I counted 17. don’t go here. also, they tried to scam me! i ordered a regular cheeseburger and they charged me for a deluxe.

Racism from this diner towards blacks. They brought me coffee without a cup plate while giving my partner who is not black her cup plate. Then they cooked my eggs burnt while making hers correct. When we complained, they spoke in Spanish- no apology. Don’t go there.
