Stopped in Friday before the big freeze this weekend and picked up a stromboli and the lasagna calzone. Both were excellent!!! The lasagna calzone was magnificent!!! I'll definitely be back
Corky’s Pizza never disappoints! The pizza is always cooked to order and tastes great every time. They have the best garlic cheese bread, and the staff is friendly with quick service. A go-to spot for consistently good food and a great experience.
Guys at the counter were super friendly and polite, and the pizza was FANTASTIC. Exactly what we were hoping for when we came in….thin crispy crust, with that brick oven taste, very melty cheese, overall great flavor. Daughter had the plain cheese, and I had the Suzie. Highly recommend.
Really liked the pizza here. Came here based on the reviews of many people saying this is the best pizza in Arlington and it was well worth the hype in my opinion. I’m a big fan of wood fried pizza and that’s basically what this is and done very well. Good seating inside and to come in and sit with the family for lunch or dinner. Fair pricing and service was good too. Definitely recommend and I’ll likely return at some point.
I went there while my recent visit to Arlington, TX. We tried the Mom and pop favorite (plain pizza) and Margherita pesto pizza and both of them were really good. I really liked the old world plain pizza, the sauce was amazing. We also had the garlic bread (we asked them to not add cheese to it). We liked everything we tried. Would totally recommend this place.
We love Corky's! I always get the pepperoni pizza, extra crispy, & my husband orders the lasagna. Nothing compares to a brick oven fired pizza! Our food is delicious every single time & the staff is incredibly nice, even on a busy Friday night. We highly recommend Corky's when you want some pizza or other Italian dishes that are so much better than the regular delivered pizza or anything you could get at O.G. Oh, they're also BYOB if you want to bring a special bottle from home.
Wood fired pizza Heaven with a gluten free crust option! Quintessential Mom and Pop, where the whole family is in on the operation. They’ve been around since the 70s & that should tell you something. We had the lasagna calzone, the Margherita Pesto, & a couple build your own pizzas. ALL OF IT WAS DELICIOUS!
I’m a sucker for regional styles of pizza and this is a dead ringer for the New Haven / Connecticut / “apizza” style, at least to me. I came in during a bit of a lull and got to chat with one of the owners . Was a nice, clean place. I took my pie to go, my “test slice” was just as good as when I got it home 20 mins later. Will be back for sure.
My first known experience with Connecticut style pizza, but what's not to love about coal-fired napoletana pizza? The meat lover style pizza is delicious with a nice thin crust. The Toasted Ravioli was tasty, but since I have strong ties to St. Louis, I can't compare it to their Toasted Ravioli.
I ordered lasagna, my wife ordered a special pizza. This personal lasagna I got was the best I ever had It came with homemade bread. My wife said her pizza was the bomb. The service was great and the atmosphere is great, relaxing. They had great iced tea, that was good for me but my wife didn't have much of a choice of drinks this day. But on the other hand your drinks are all healthy. I must say I would definitely go back there and recommend this place to anybody.
Outstanding all around... definitely my new favorite local pizza joint. Superb crust, generous and full flavor ingredients, tried both the regular red sauce and alfredo. Both were good. The red has a sweetness reminiscent of a family owned Chicago thin crust pizza place. Go here, you will not regret it.
Me and a friend of mine or actually parked to walk to eat at Cheddar's right across the parking lot my but my friend had an idea to try something different and saw Corky's. We walked across the parking lot to walk into a cute quite Little Italian pizzeria. The food was fresh hot and super cheesy! They were missing a few items on the mean you do too delivery, but this place definitely did not disappoint after our very first experience.
Decent pizza not as good as they used to be. I miss the days when the pizza was golden and have more pizza sauce with that brick oven taste. Not anymore sadly. I’d give them a 6.8 out of 10
Just want to let you know Dominic Debatista it the best guy ever. Grew up on Prospect street in East Hartford CT. I live in New Haven Ct. By Wooster street. Corkeys is the best Pie ever with his corn meal crust. He beats Pepe’s, Sally’s and Modern ah beets hands down. Arlington!!!! You are in very good hands. Love you Dom. And Corkey is named for his Father. Best Pie ever Dom. Keep it going. Hope dom Jr and your daughter are good. Take care alright!
Came in on a whim since we wanted brick oven pizza, as well as locally owned. We ordered Mozzarella sticks, a small Mamma Jamma & medium Corky’s special, paid & sat down. About 10-15 mins and received the Corky’s Special, my husband mentioned our mozzarella sticks and were told they were coming. About 5-8 mins later the Mamma Jamma came out & my husband mentioned the mozzarella sticks again & we were told they were coming soon. We placed our order at 7:03pm and at 7:45 I went up & asked for my money back on the mozzarella sticks because we were done eating & obviously not getting them, to which the cashier said they were sitting on the counter. I replied we were done eating & didn’t want them because it had been almost 45 mins since we ordered them & were finished eating. He again said the sticks were “right there” and I said it didn’t matter. The sticks looked like they had been sitting for quite sometime & almost looked microwaved. They ended up giving me back the money. While $6.49 may seem like nothing, honestly, it was the principal. The pizza was good, my son said his pizza was ok just didn’t taste like the dough was fully cooked even though part of the crust has a burnt look to it. Doubt we would ever come back, which is a shame because the pizza was good. Just don’t go and order more than one pizza, you won’t get it at the same time as the other pizza ordered.
Crazy. Brick oven pizza. Ultimate flip. White on the bottom of the pizza. I'm a big follower of bar stool. This would be a 5. Leave your pizza in the oven longer. I shouldn't have to order well done to get no flop.
