My all time favorite breakfast stop. Today I picked the market veggie burrito and subbed tofu for the eggs and subbed out the avocado for goat cheese! The veggies where cooked just right. Slightly crunchy! I always have a decaf latte. I don’t drink coffee but this coffee is amazing. So here I’m a coffee drinker. allergygirl

I love this little place. The food is always so good and the drinks are hand crafted with love. I had the Wild Alaskan and the PBL. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing weather. I’ll be back next week!

Delicious vegan options and coffee for brunch.

My Boo Thangs and I stopped by on vacation and we all loved it here! The avocado 🥑 toast is mind blowing 🤤 I'm still craving it 2 weeks later. The service was excellent and the vibes were just right. Will definitely be back next time we're in Pismo Beach. Excellent vegan and gluten free options. Thank you!

My favorite breakfast spot when I visit Pismo Beach. My family and I have tried various breakfast items over the last few years and have always been very pleased. We love sitting outside and enjoy the overall vibes at Honeymoon Cafe!

Delicious food, with plenty of options for people with diverse tastes or restrictive dietary limitations. I had the buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup, eggs over medium, and bacon. For my drink, I had an East Coast oat latte. The bacon was thick cut and cooked firm but not overly crispy. Eggs were slightly over what I prefer but still with plenty of liquid yolk, the pancakes were flavorful and filling. I've never had buckwheat before. Yum! The pinnacle of my breakfast was that latte. $6.20 after tax makes it pricey, but hoo boy. Worth it! A plant milk (or mylk, as they called it) based beverage really benefits from the recipe being tailored around its flavor. I liked it so much, I got a second one to go. Very nice, friendly staff.

Amazing atmosphere, great service, and wonderful food! Menu is clearly labeled with lots of allergen-free options, the staff is super friendly, and everything tasted great! Away from the hustle and bustle of the pier, so a great place to sit and relax to recharge your soul. We will definitely be visiting next time we are in town.

Ordered the Brioche French Toast breakfast with homemade berry compote, served with maple syrup, and a lavender latte with oat milk. Everything was incredibly delicious. I will definitely remember this place and come back.

My wife and I had to stop in for breakfast when we saw the name, since we are on our honeymoon here in Cali!!! Wonderful people, fabulous service, and delicious food. Seating was a bit limited since it was raining outside, but we eventually found a spot shortly after our food was ready. This is mine and my gf favorite breakfast spot in town! We will never go anywhere else🫡. The bagels are bomb and the breakfast bowls are too. 5 stars! You must stop by and try literally anything 😁🫶🏼💕

Love this cafe in Pismo! Delicious food, supports local ingredients(get the chilaquiles!) and solid cafe. Has a quirky vibe which is part of the charm. Staff are super friendly, nice and make you feel at home! Would for sure visit again.

Amazing vegan pancakes. A lot of dishes can easily be made vegan. Substituting is welcomed. Don’t be discouraged by the menu online. My partner got the breakfast tacos and substituted the egg and cheese for tofu…

Good food and good service. Liked the food and the place. The service was good and the person assisted to get the best vegetarian option available. The smoothies triple berries and turmeric cleaner were too good. The place has good vibes, food and friendly staff.

Super charming spot! For me it was a must stop because I start off my days with a green smoothie, and the Honeymoon Cafe has a great smoothie menu (and are willing to make custom orders, which is what I typically want). Madison was the sweet young lady who took my order, and she is quite the artist as well and has very cute postcards of the Honeymoon Cafe that are for sale. Whether you are on your honeymoon or not, this spot is full of love 👍👍🥰

Wow, so good! East coast oat latte was delicious. Lots of healthy and creative breakfast options that were well executed. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

Both the indoor and outdoor seating options are lovely. My cappuccino with hemp milk was so creamy and delicious and the TLC juice was just the extra kick I needed. My veggie breakfast burrito was likely the yummiest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Packed with fresh veggies and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 experience!

Love this place! We got the stuffed pancake breakfast with poached eggs and the buckwheat pancakes with poached eggs. The pancakes were exceptional! Coffee was also very good. Food came quickly and was really, really good. Healthy choices.

Dog friendly! A nice outside seating areas. Order inside and get a seat by yourself. The food will be brought to your table when it's ready. The fruits are fresh! A very cute cafe!

I am strictly vegan for dietary reasons and by choice. I ordered the Buddha Burger which is listed as vegan by default, but upon asking I was told the brioche bread is not vegan. I ordered with sourdough instead. Which is okay but it makes me question if they know what “vegan” is. HOWEVER, after trying my food I’m almost certain that it is vegan. (I have been vegan my whole life almost and was a tasting chef) The service was solid, and the food was decent. The Buddha Burger was a bit bland, but that is to be expected for a handmade patty that is not a specialty of the restaurant. Overall would recommend. If the burger had more flavor and salt, and was correctly labeled, I would have rated 5 stars! The soup was fantastic which raised my review to a 4. Thanks.

The matcha was very clumpy and definitely not whisked beforehand (or not enough). The iced coffee was very watery and had a lot of sweetener, probably to make up for bitterness. They definitely need someone to work on their coffee and make sure their shorts are solid every morning before they start serving and their coffee would be great improved! Still great, go here and get a meal and or smoothie, just skip the drinks!

The Honeymoon Cafe is a cool, funky little joint. The menu is creative and on the healthier side. The breakfast tacos were super good, but the turkey burger was a bit dry and over salted. I also had a vanilla match latte and was delicious. I’ll have to try more on the menu, to give it 5 star.

I’ve been coming here for years. I honestly love the menu and the space. What I do not love is the absolute toxic vibe of the staff… EVERY time! The older lady (the owner?) possibly spreads it? But it’s truly not ok for everyone to be so rude. You’re busy, I get it, but that’s great to be busy. I’ve worked in the service industry for decades, this is not ok!! Please try to find ways to work together positively when busy. And interact with customers with more grace and warmth. We are paying decently good money to be there and I honestly cant continue to support somewhere that is just so downright mean and uncaring
