Papa John's

Out of all the Pizzas I've tried, there is no other place but the pizza with the free garlic sauce! No one else would have that same tradition after all these years. We eat Papa Johns several times a year, and when we do. It always brings my family and I that same great feeling! I know it's because of the free garlic sauce, and I can never go wrong with that. Thank you Papa John's for maintaining your authentic self and staying true for us loyal consumers.

You can't go wrong with Papa John's except in the price area. Their pizzas are always delicious and they are always accommodating if you have a special request. However, that comes at a price. They are not cheap. The food is really good though so you kind of have to decide.

ordered online, it was great. they had delivered after they said itd be ready, and everything was perfect. pizza was good af and so was my cheese bread. 10/10 would order again.

The food is good most of the time. occasionally the bread or crust would come out burnt

Papa John's pizza is one of the better pizza joints. Look online for coupons you will save alot of money.

Pretty decent kind of pizza for 1 large 1 topping pizza for $9.99...what a deal

It's to go only. No seatings. 15 cents for packages of red pepper flakes and cheese.

Pizza was good. But I ordered my pizza at 2:04pm. Was told 15-20 min it would be ready. Didn't get my order until 2:38

Service and quality are inconsistent. I've ordered pizza from this location several times and it's a gamble. I'll probably give Dominoes (right next door) a try.

Was giving Papa John's another try with the meatball pepperoni I saw on t.v. for $12.99. I was disappointed. Not enough meatballs OR pepperoni, and the sauce lacked any flavor. Sticking closer to Domino's......

Kinda disappointed in the meatball and pepperoni pizza...$12.99 which is more expensive I assume because of the meatballs. Problem is that they skimp on the meatballs and the base of the pizza is mediocre at best. My husband and I decided that Dominos tastes a lot better....even if we can't get a meatball pizza there

The pizza is decent, but trying to call them is a waste of time, you might as well try calling the DMV either way you wont get a live person and eventually their phone system hangs up on you no matter what option you select. dumb

Did they forget the Cheese and Sause in the Oven Baked Papada? The bites were just halepena rolled in dry crust The Star is is for the cinomin bites. A star for Delivery.

They are not professional They almost always made a mistake on my order I’ve ordered squared cut but around cut came out or different ingredients came out

The worst. I placed an order through the Papa John's app. Received an email notification that my order would arrive in approximately 31 minutes. On the app I selected the option to pay cash. I had enough cash on me to coverage the cost and provide a tip. 30 minutes after submitting my order, I received a phone call from an employee stating that their drivers are "not carrying any cash" and I could not pay with cash. I told the employee that I did not require change and could just give the delivery driver the cash I had. The employee repeated to me the same thing and stated that they could not take the cash and I had to pay with a card. RIDICULOUS! I ain't falling for that one. How dumb is that! Lame Papa John's in Artesia! So I did what any other pizza loving American would do and took my business to Domino's! They have a way better app anyways. 😡

Each time we go through the ingredients and explain they need just to cook it a little longer. It shows up the same way each time. Plus we have to heat up every piece in the microwave. On more than a few occasions it comes very late from the time we are told on the phone. This time the same thing happened and we refused the pizza after 90 mins late. We called at 6:00-it’s now 7:30 on just a regular week night. Won’t be ordering from them Any longer.

I ordered a pizza @ 1026pm. They told me 30-35min for delivery. I waited for 45 minutes then called them back to see what happened to my order. They were closed and no pizza is delivered. This is very bad customer service. I hope to call them in the am speak to the manerger

When I buy pizza here, I don't have to order. The owner makes it the way he wants. Money is collected according to the order.

They took about an hour to get my order delivered . I received my order all cold . I don’t know who decides to work with DoorDash if you’re a pizza place who offers Delivery! I tried calling the store and I never got an answer!

Service is great but unfortunately I don't know what happen but my daughter and I have been having bad diarrhea for 2 days now. Never again 😒

1 worker making pizzas, no other worker in sight. 4 people in line summed up my experience here. Management is to blame for not being properly staffed, because the woman in the back was working hard.

ANSWER THE PHONE! It's impossible to talk to someone at the store. I called almost 20 times since they opened and I can't talk to a live person to edit/cancel my order. So frustrating!

The worst place, they never wash their hands. If you're a vegetarian they toss the meat on one pizza and toss cheese on the vegetarian pizza without washing their hands. Once I ordered two vegetarian pizzas and was surprised to see one pepperoni pizza and the other vegetarian.

I have never taken the time to write a review, but the girl that took my order over the phone (07-28-13 @ 5:35 pm) gave me the worst customer service I have ever had. I think her name is Mani? She should be fired.

The customer service is non existent. The delivery was 45 minutes late, and it was wrong. Order items were missing. It is impossible to reach the store or the manage although the phone has a prompt 5. The message keeping going around in a circle. Impossible to get customer service, the store or the manager. Absolutely the worst store.

Ordered two large ones at 17:45 and the order was not ready at 18:52. Around 10 customers were waiting outside of the store to pick up their pizza... I went about 18:08 and the lady told me it will be ready in 5 min, so I just standing outside and wait... I asked the lady when the pizza will be ready 3 times and she always said 5 min. Several of us canceled the orders. Bad service and the lady kept telling us wrong information. Do not order from it.

Ordered a large pizza and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks did not have any cheese and pizza had toppings clumped on the center and was uncooked too. To top it off, the staff was rude too. If you wish to stop your pizza cravings, have a slice of their pizza and I guarantee you will never look at its direction for the next year

I been trying to place an order for ove 35-45 minute . 1st by way of the internet yet my wife was able to have the order completed using the internet ( 2 pizza with 3 toppings ) from the special offers section . Thus she called and was told that she needed to speak with the store by an operator . So the operator transfer us against our objection. Yet we were told if we could get through that we should call them back . We tried to contact the store directly and were never able to speak with anyone . As if our phone was blocked. We must have to drive to the store . I not sure what is wrote with Papa John’s Pizza online vs in person system . But since covid everthing has chances and not for the better this is so sad that we must have to say any about business putting its customers through this process to place a order advertised and once you contact a person no one is able to complete the order

I was the only customer there and the phone was ringing from 20 straight minutes. No one bother to pick up the phone they just ignored it. Then you wonder why they have low sells. The manager needs to do something about it!!

I visited this Papa John's with my nonverbal autistic brother, who had an emergency and urgently needed to use the restroom. He ran into the back area where the employee restroom was located, as he doesn't understand boundaries. A male employee, who had facial hair, tattoos on his arm, and appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, seemed very frustrated with us. He threatened to call the police on me and my brother. While I was assisting my brother in the restroom, the employee knocked on the door and demanded that we leave. I explained that my brother has special needs and is autistic, but the employee showed no compassion or understanding. Instead of helping, he worsened the situation by adding to my stress with his threats and constant knocking.

I never wrote a bad review. But Papa John's Artesia is the worst pizza place I ever ordered from. They are so unprofessional. The workers are ignorant and not even qualified to work in retail. I placed an order that never got delivered. When I tried to call I ket getting transfered and hung up on. Then the store closed. I was left hanging and hungry. I called the next day and nobody answered my call. I kept getting the recording. And when someone finally answered they hung up on me. I called again and went through all the recording's and finally got a person to talk to and she transfered me back to the recording. What waste of time and energy. This place is bad. I don't know what else to say but don't waste your time or don't order pizza here. They won't deliver it and they won't answer their phone. Worst service ever.

I told them I have a picture of the pizza with the box from papa johns and I can show them that next time but I was not going to make the 20 minute drive back to their location for a mistake that wasn’t my fault. For their prices we at least expect quality. I could’ve ordered from any other place for half the price and got a way better pizza and better customer service for sure. Never going back here again.
