My partner and I hosted a little celebration here and it went flawless from the moment I contacted them to the moment we left the place. It was inexpensive to host a private event for a couple hours and then they allowed us to continue even when they opened. Not only is the staff top notch, friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the drinks but even the patrons are great too. Nick was amazing and pretty much accommodated any request I had. If you are looking for a low key, local spot with Some of the best drinks….then def go here and bring yourself some food as they allow outside food.

They brought my order late but one of the waiters said "Kept you waiting,huh?". Then I faced with the boss and asked him if he is the boss of the place, and he said "I am the boss and you are too." I was shocked! This was the place I expected from The Boss. Glory to Diamond Dogs!

Diamond Dogs Astoria: Still a Fantastic Find!** Last night, my friends and I had a great time at Diamond Dogs Astoria! It's got a really welcoming feel – the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood favorite with a cool, laid-back atmosphere. We ordered a round of cocktails, and they were all really well-made. The Whiskey Sour was a perfect mix of sweet and tart, with a lovely smooth finish. My friend enjoyed their Moscow Mule, which, while not in the traditional copper mug, was still refreshing and had that great spicy ginger flavor. I went with the Sidecar, and it was a classic done just right – the cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice blended beautifully. Even though the Moscow Mule wasn't in the expected copper, our experience was still easily 5-star worthy. The service was friendly and quick, the drinks were delicious, and the overall vibe made for a really enjoyable night. If you're in Astoria and looking for a place with excellent cocktails, Diamond Dogs is definitely worth checking out!

An excellent bar with solid drinks, a pleasant atmosphere with good music, the benches are a little old and make the noise of metal gears, the staff is very competent, a great demonstration of the administration of the big boss of Diamond Dogs.

Delicious cocktails, very reasonably priced. The bartenders are all so skilled and so kind. Diamond Dogs is one of the few bars I actually enjoy going to. Down to earth vibes and cute backyard.

Diamond Dogs is a nice cozy little bar with a phenomenal back yard area. The gravel patio has a bunch of benches and chairs and is perfect on Spring, Summer or Fall nights to sit out back and have drinks with friends. The interior of Diamond Dogs is a smaller, narrow space, and dimly lit, which is great if that's the vibe you're into. (Not saying it's bad, just stating it as fact). No TVs. Not a huge selection of beers, but they're always poured solid and taste great. If you're looking for a lot of tap options, try somewhere else. Service has always been friendly. The front is kind of easy to miss, so keep your eye out. Highly recommend, love going here.

Great cocktail bar with a beautiful interior and matching cocktails to boot. For those more inclined, there's a backyard that serves well as a gathering point in warmer weather. Wish they'd clean up some of the cigarette butts out there but that's just the cost of entry.
