The food is awesome.. you can find so many good food in a very good price.. i often go there and love the foods.. the baby octopus 🐙 calamari, fried crabs is my fav. They also have ice creams .. highly recommend. Just the stuff are very mannerless over there. Authority should notice the stuff behaviour. Very rude and not helpful. My friends, staffs, and I have come to this place and had lots of food there like seafood, fried items, sushi, stir-fries, noodles, salads, and more. The food there was wonderful and tasty. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was that there were people in their eating, talking, and others.

This place hits real good for the food umm what do you expect it's an buffet and open to the public the sickness I got was stuffing myself lol, service was amazing the staff was attentive,nice and professional and Atmosphere was amazing nothing but families and couples came. Caveat to this rating: value makes this place worth it, specifically lunch special all you can eat, and you'll need to hone in on the better dishes. I think the American Chinese food selection is quite tasty, but I would avoid things that need more attention to quality to be good, such as the whole sausage links and steamed fish and sushi. Once you get to know this place though, the staff are friendly to regulars and you'll find ice cream, a chocolate fountain, shrimp cocktails, general tso chicken, stir fried beef, dumplings, fries, chicken nuggets, you name it! If you have kids, give them a try, they have age-based discounts and they'll be able to experience a somewhat dying breed of restaurant experience. Super nostalgic for me!

I use to come to the previous buffet that was here almost 20 years ago. I just so happened to be in Queens and wanted something for lunch. My wife said the buffet we use to go to....Hmmm that's why I married her! Looked it up, see it was new and still pulled up. The workers were very polite. The options seemed kinda limited but I still found enough to satisfy my hunger and the misses was complaining so it definitely wasn't bad. Didn't really care for the service charge though. Service would mean we were served, which we clearly served ourselves. Then a tip on top of that is asking too much and I usually over tip when receiving GREAT service. Bringing me a drink that's included in my charge isn't serving if I don't have to option if getting it myself. Like a had station that offers full and send service. Full service pays a little extra so you don't have to get out your car. Anyway. Kind people, good food but may not return and we use to go here often from Harlem just because we liked it but not digging the Service Charge honestly. A money grab. You'd be better off raising the price $1.50. Wouldn't look as thirsty.

Food seemed to be cooked well and tasted pretty good. The utensils and cups were clean and they were responsible in making sure they took your temperature, wore masks and stayed a safe distance from each other. Overall it was a good experience and I probably will be eating there again.

The food was amazing and freshly put out often. The service was great! The waiters was super kind and attended to us frequently. They were able to observe when we needed help and assisted us! It was a lot more expensive than I remembered but I guess that’s what comes with the renovations.

I recently visited the Chinese buffet, and it was a mixed experience. The selection of foods that were really good made the visit worthwhile, especially the delightful dessert section. Considering the price, it's a decent deal. However, I have to admit, some of the seafood offerings, particularly the sushi, fell short of expectations and didn't justify the cost. If you're looking for variety and don't mind a few misses, it's worth checking out.

Service was amazing same for the food and also atmosphere but there are two things I didn't like. One was the plates were very grease and the cups for the ice cream as like they haven't been clean in a long time. Another one was the tables were super dirty same for the chair's but overall was an amazing experience.

Foods were average good.. Nice space, we were in buffet and our desire was not full filled, Fried rice salmon fish and sushi was so poor but broccoli chiken and beef was awesome as weel shrimps items were so good. We didn’t get clams and the crabs.. Ice crems were finished too.

Ive tried the buffet and for the price I think it's worth it, good selection but not so fresh. The Cajun side was much better though I've only ordered uber eats on it. The new Zealand mussels are worth it, crab legs are decent too. Not a bad option if you're shopping in the area.

The food is the best here, the staff were very nice and they had a chocolate fountain which was amazing. The only negative is the floor is messy and trashy, they need to clean it!

I would say that the buffet is definitely worth the price . At around 14 $ for lunch and around 20 $ for dinner the prices are right. There is quite a few selection of foods , mostly seafood which I like but they also have 2 3 chicken and 2 3 other meats. They have a good salad section, fruit section and pastries including ice cream. Would recommend.

Didn’t plan to visit this place at all just walked by and saw “All You Can Eat Buffet” with a reasonable price, so I thought… why not? I arrived quite late, around 9–10 PM, and was honestly worried the food wouldn’t be replenished. But to my surprise, the trays were still getting refilled, and the variety was impressive seafood, fried items, sushi, stir-fries, noodles, salads, and more. For the price, it’s definitely a great value! The only downside? The service. Staff didn’t seem very friendly and looked like they just wanted to close up quickly (even though it wasn’t closing time yet). And I’ve seen other reviews mention the same. Still, if you’re just looking for a wide selection of food and a full stomach late at night without breaking the bank, this place is worth a try.

The food is ok. There are lots of options. It's not the best buffet style restaurant but it not the worst either. I'd definitely say its the best value buffet place you're going to visit in Queens. Price compared to food quality and variety or food options is very good. $30 per person on a Friday night isn't bad. Make sure you're hungry 😋.. I'd definitely recommend.

The staff will add a service charge of 15% to guarantee their tips. Typically I add gratuity after inspecting the receipt for correct charges. If I see a service charge, it feels like I'm being forced to pay a mandatory minimum when it usually is dependent on the level of service. Frankly, I tip 20% so it's actually a discount for me, but disheartening as it feels like a hidden tax when the service might have been poor. Poor service will receive a smaller percentage than the typical 20%. Regardless, they have great food at a decent price point ($25) per person.

Food a bit cold but it was fine. Good seafood choices

This place is super dirty. The bathroom Is dirty and toilet paper everywhere. The food is overpriced for quality. The place overall looks like there is no cleaning dust and dirt everywhere. The mirrors look like they haven't been cleaned in a really long time. I wouldn't eat here again. Until the cleanliness gets better. The employees don't eat the food from there, and that shows a lot.

The selection and quality of the food there is excellent . i have visited many other buffet but this one is the best in food selection. Food is okay for what your paying for. They recently remodeled the place but it still looks like they figuring things out. When you walk in first thing you’ll notice is the area in the front of the restaurant has a lot of boxes and what looks like old furniture throw around. I went with my son and girlfriend and I ask for a baby chair and they gave it to me very dirty. I had to ask for the waitress to clean it for me. She got a rag from a bucket with liquid In it and cleaned the seat with that. I would prefer if she would have access to running water but it’s alright. Overall liked the food and waitresses were doing their job well

Honestly, the food there wasn't the worst but it was pretty bad when coming from a Chinese persons perspective. The crabs were pretty watery tasting almost bland and the meat was weak. Also, their meat and fish were often overcooked and dry. There are also some other things that were bad but overall tho, for the price, this place is decent at most. You get what you payed for.

Just have low expectations when you show up here but overall, it's worth the dinner buffet price. I can only wish they sustain their drive to be more inspired offering buffet food items. I have been here plenty of times. It's not really that bad if you're not that choosy in the first place when it comes to food --- just eat what's nutricious (I know it's easier said than done but you're responsible for your own body, anyway).

I'm very big on having my drinks refilled. I eat a lot. And the staff that served you the drinks refused to fill my cup while he passed by my table and wouldn't be busy. We'd literally make eye contact and he'd come, look at my drink, then walk away. Getting a table was a little wait too. Forgot to mention that I asked for a table for one. There’s a hostess/cashier who doesn’t welcome people when they come in, she’s just chatting with the servers. So once the customers sit down on a particular table, she tells them they can’t sit there, being the table too large for them. We stayed there eating for about 30 minutes and this happened too often in front of our eyes. Also: even though the servers are good people, they need to treat the customers like it is because of them that they have a job and should try to be more polite and welcoming: they’re just too cold and act as if they and the customers were robots, not people.

I'm so mad at this place. I have any complaints about the food, it's actually really good and there's a lot to pick of but the staff is so rude, they were basically staring at my friend and I, they were rude and make us obligatory pay for tips when they didn't help us in nothing, also they take our our cakes plate without asking so we couldn't finish our pastries and btw was so uncomfortable to eat with waitress walking always around us. The food at the area was nice and all, but one of the employees had treated me rudely. I have a specific dietary restriction and I just wanted to ask if any of their food could comply with it, but she gave me a extremely rude attitude about it. The table I was seated at was very dirty and so was the place where we got our food, but other then that it was fine.

Dessert is a big letdown, most of the main course food is quite good. The walls with those images are very odd, a little tacky.

Place was packed today. Food was delicious. Service was fair. The bad part, the waitress demanded a tip. She wouldn't leave my partner's side. She appeared like she was going grab the change from her. After she got the tip, she practically kicked us out of the restaurant.

Very salty. The fried calamari wasn’t fried properly and it was very chewy and felt undercooked. The oysters itself was decent but the spicy sauce was mostly oil. I also order black mussels in the cajun sauce, it was super oily and salty I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped.

So there’s a buffet spot in Woodside called Grand Buffet, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a classic Chinese-owned buffet clean dining areas, tons of food, and that mix of Asian-American and Western comfort eats. We’re talking General Tso’s chicken, fried rice, pizza, mashed potatoes, tacos… basically a little bit of everything. Flavor-wise? Pretty average. Nothing mind-blowing, but nothing you’ll regret either. It’s very “hit the spot if you’re starving” food. Not authentic Chinese, more like the Americanized version, so just keep that in mind before you go in expecting traditional dishes. The real win here is the price and variety—especially for lunch. You can load up your plate, try a bit of everything, and leave full without breaking the bank. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here all the time, but if I’m in the area and need a fast lunch or dinner, it’s an easy yes. Final take: Affordable, tons of variety, and perfect for those “I just want to eat a lot right now” moments.

It's a cheap priced buffet. It's not gournet nor was it the better ones. You get crawfish, snowcrab legs, shrimps, salmon, clam for $13 during lunch time monday to friday before 3PM. Quality is certainly NOT good but it was ok for the price. They have sushi bar, fruits and veggies plus ice cream. Service was excellent. Food was meh.

Typical Chinese buffet, don't come looking for something special. Food was fresh enough, but not very much variety for the price. I caught a worker and he made the sushi pieces for me (but I think he got in trouble for it since that's probably the most expensive item there). Went there last week with my family. Everything was fine till my son got sick after eating some of his food. The cause of him throwing up is still unknown, but my issue was how it was handled by the staff. First of all, my sister was handed a broom, napkins and a dust pan so that my family could clean it up. They did not assist, they just watched us clean it up. When we at least asked for a mop and bucket to thoroughly sanitize the floor we were told that they did not have one. How do you run a restaurant and don't have a mop or cleaning solution for occasions like this? That alone turned me off from ever eating there any time soon. I would check their rating and see if they have any health violations before ever taking a chance eating here again.

I give this buffet a rating of 2 stars because last time I went here with my brother we saw a cockroach in the mirror wall. Today I went again with my brother and I noticed that he only had one plate and had a disgusted face. He didn’t get more food but waited for me to be done eating. After we left he confessed that he found a baby cockroach on his food which is the reason why he had a disgusted face and the reason he wasn’t eating anymore I’m definitely not going back to this buffet after this. I've been here twice and disappointed both times. The place is dark and dirty. The food is warm not hot, it's dingy decor and sticky tables leave no room for appetite. Worst place ever and the waitress demanding more tip than she already recieved was the last drop, she was watching way to close as we count the money to pay and start demanding more even if the service was the worst. Place is old, dilapidated, looks like like third world. Food was really bad, absolutely nothing tasted good, honestly not even the Pepsi, the sushi looked a week old, everything was overcooked, chewy and no taste or flavor. To round it off the servers were yapping to the other waiters and didn't take away plates or bring new drinks. Mcdonalds is better, eating a sandwich at home is better, Lipton soup is better.

The price was highly elevated; for two people, and 2 sodas the price came out to be 58 dollars. I would not have minded paying that amount if the food was actually good, and fresh. Overall the food quality was really bad, and did not taste good what so ever.

It’s ridiculous the way they try to rush you in and out. The lady in the front charged my friend’s boyfriend twice and when we tried to explain to her, she blamed it on us for not telling her. She tries to rush the conversation and cuts you off to try to confuse you. The employees all look miserable and make you feel like you are a burden to them. I visited after 3 years after the pandemic. The place has changed. The greeter at the door was obnoxious and not friendly. It seems to be under new management. The quality of food wasn't the same and I was coming there for years prior to the covid shutdown because I worked in the area. Let's say a good 17 years at least. The food was lukewarm and honestly not that good. The atmosphere was not warm and inviting. I won't be going back nor recommending to anyone.

On January 10, 2025, we visited this buffet, and while, I was sitting with the family waiting for our drinks. Roaches were crawling on the table. I asked to speak to a manager they said no manager, so I asked them to give me a discount or something or not even pay for the food and they charged me they still charged me they didn’t give me a discount. Food was disgusting never again. And I’m going to call the dept. Of health.

This has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever gotten food from. The clam chowder soup was like greasy water with virtually no clams, potatoes, carrot or celery. The garlic bread sticks had no garlic or any seasoning and were ice cold. I threw my entire order away. What a waste of money.

Beware!!! When we went to this buffet restaurant recently, we were surprised that it’s still open, recently renovated, the dirty carpeted floor was taken out, the walls are newly painted, the ceilings are replaced, BUT the chairs, tables, plates, forks, spoon and condiments bottles are the same, DIRTY!!! The staff still do what they’re doing just like before wrapping the utensils and prepping food next to their customers… the floor is dirty, the cleaning tools are beside the food shelves… I’m surprised to see how they still managed to get the permit from the city and keep this restaurant open. The food is blah, don’t wanna describe it anymore as we are so disappointed ☹️

This is the worst Chinese buffet. Food is so nasty, most of the menu is full of carbs. Soda was totally flat. Stay away from this place, I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone.

This buffet was the best years ago , today After years I took my daughter to eat here because it was her last day of school , she wanted chicken and fries but the fries were hard the chicken looked black and was hard too

This is the dirtiest restaurant I've ever seen!! Absolutely disgusting. The walls are filthy, the tables are greasy, the handles of the serving utensils cakes with grime. Seating is cramped. The hot food isnt hot, the cold food isnt cold, and I'm praying that I dont get sick. The bathroom floor was wet and toilet paper hanging from the top of the stall. The soda we ordered was warm and they said they had no ice. Food was overcooked or undercooked, most of it all tasted the same. Low quality seafood. How is this place not shut down by the health department?? Was $133 including tip for 4 adults

I ordered Clam Chowder Soup and it tasted terrible, not like Clam Chowder. Really disappointed, not like the picture.

$20 per person. Fountain Drinks had a funny taste.. Not Fresh. Limited food, not even apetizing.. No music or audio entertainment, only staff conversing with eachother in their language as loud as possible.

Very bad there is nothing to eat. They can improve the quality wast of time and money

The food was horrible no taste some were cold and barely had any choices to choose from. Payed 30 including with a drink and the restaurant had no ice felt like a scam for me and my friends The atmosphere felt dead and sad inside the restaurant it felt so empty and the tables were so sobs close to each other barley had any space I even asked staff for a surprise for my friends birthday they served him a small dry cake with beans and food from a can i really find that insane and the last and finally place I would ever go to that place again. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

Out of my hundreds of dine in experiences, this “buffet” has ranked the LOWEST. Off the rip the atmosphere looks incredible cheap, messy, dirty, and unpleasant. The sign outside wasn’t even lit properly so I should’ve taken that as my sign to not go in. I gave it a try anyways and the food was TERRIBLE! Please do not eat here. The food is low quality, uncooked, cold, and just disgusting. I ate uncooked chicken wings for gods sake. I felt like throwing up. There aren’t any garbage cans anywhere as well! The worst part is when they came to give me the check that I already paid for, all they cared about was the tip. I pointed at me the raw chicken wing and the waiter responded “aw you no like. What about tip? How much you tip”. The bathrooms weren’t even clean and functioning properly. I found a bug in the sink. I wouldn’t go if I was being paid too.

I advise against utilizing your time or financial resources here. The advertised variety of food was not present. Upon entering and immediately exiting, I incurred a charge of $8.00 for two sodas. The food did not appear appetizing enough to sample. I cannot recommend this establishment.

(Update below under update) Your getting what you pay for here. I have been here several times. I arrived on a June Monday morning at around 12:40. The place was packed. But it appears to have been a bunch of High Scool graduates with their families. The food was not that bad. Once again you get what you pay for. $13.05 per adult with tax. That does not include a drink. I always go for water. The staff was not so bad either. I have had issues with them in the past. In the past they would beg for a tip and try to embarrass you. There is no hiding it, this place is dirty. The last that checks the food to refill just throws any food left on the counter back into the dish. I have seen her take new serving utensils and use her bare hands on the serving side of the utensil to put it in the dish. I am attaching a picture of her. Out of the 6 dishes I had to go through, 3 of them were clean. There is a film of grease all over the dishes. Normally there is a layer of film on the water. I had 3 refills. Mainly sausage and boneless ribs. I did not opt for the shrimp today. But you can not really go wrong with shrimp. (UPDATE) I got sick from the food today. The bonless spare ribs were non-edible. They were overly burnt meat or old meat. There were not many people and the lady that normally throws the food back into the serving plats and also refilss them, was standing around just mixing each of the plates. 1 stall in the woman's room was nroken. The other was clean. There were no paper towels. One of the workers got into a full out rude argument with a customer. I really think this will be the last time I come to this place. No more chances. Lowering my rating down to 1 star from 3.

Ooh my gosh. It's no test of the food.Oh my Gosh, I've never eaten such terrible food before. Was this prepared for pi... or something? It's awful, I have no words. Haven't you people ever eaten decent food? And the Coca-Cola is terrible. My God, what kind of restaurant is this? I used to go to Chinese buffets, they were so delicious, but what kind of food is this? It's horrible!

I never waste food because I'm very conscious about it. I paid the bill because I'm not the type to cause problems. However, the food was cold! The fried crab had a strange aftertaste, the Cajun shrimp was overcooked, and the slice of pizza I took for my 2-year-old tasted old, despite my effort to grab a piece from the fresh pizza. The only thing that was decent was the fries. I left everything on the plate, asked for the check, and walked out. It was a 40-minute drive for nothing. I definitely will not be coming back and do not recommend this place at all.
