The meats are tasty as well as the chicken and sausages - quick rotation too! Buffet area is a bit small and salads are tucked in at the back which makes it hard to reach. But overall the food is really good, love the cheese bread too! Sangria is delicious! Since this place is new and popular the wait can be long. I waited around 30-40 mins for a table for 4. Looking around it seems they can mostly accommodate smaller parties. I saw one table that had about 6 or 7 people but most of the tables are set up for 2-4 people. Service is great, they’re very attentive and check in often. You can’t beat the price either for AYCE. It’s worth trying if you don’t mind the wait.

The meat was phenomenal! The garlic steak and the sirloin steak were the real standouts for me. My only comment would be that the food at the buffet bar was lukewarm or a little on the cold side. Regardless, the steak, lamb and chicken were all great. Our server was Lucas and he was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Great place! Excellent quality (and of course quantity) for the price. The meat kept coming out hot, fresh and tasty. The salad bar and buffet is clean (they provide gloves so you don’t have to touch the communal utensils, and have hand sanitizer available). The hot sauce is amazing if you’re into spicy. The servers were very quick and friendly. The pão de queijo was delightful. Would recommend and will return.

Food was incredible, some of the best steak I've ever had. Prices were reasonable, only paid $39 a person for all you can eat and unlimited skewers. My only criticism was that they automatically place a tip on the bill, which I thought was strange, because we only had a party of 2 people. I thought automatic gratuity only applied to large parties. It Made the bill more expensive than it needed to be. Other than that, I had a great time and a delicious meal.

Eny, the is the one, She is an experienced drink maker, has something particularly special in her recipes that you won't find anywhere else. I hope this restaurant is rewarding her as much as she deserves, because it's not easy to reach this level of quality and charisma. I had seen a beautiful video on this place and my mouth was watering just from the video. Me and two of my friends decided to go try it out on this past Friday night. There was a line to get in so we waited by the bar where we were greeted by an extremely warm and friendly bartender. She really made the wait so easy and enjoyable plus she served us her delicious homemade sangria. Enjoying the sangria, catching up with my friends and feeling the great energy all around made the time fly by. The smell throughout was incredible. We were seated and it was time to eat and wow, it was even better than we were hoping. The meats cooked to perfection. The salad bar was great and the cheese bread was to die for. I'm not sure why more places don't serve this item its so good. Lastly we got the Brigadeiro Chocolate cake and the Carmel flan and that was the perfect ending to this great meal!!!! Update! Went back again and had some of their amazing cocktails. Highly reccomend the Rio Bonito Caipinha with the ginger froth. It is one of best cocktails I’ve ever had. The bartender Eny is so talented and so warm and welcoming . Had the Picanha again and it was even better than I remember. This place is such a gem and you can’t beat the price 🙏

This is one of my favorite Brazilian steak houses in New York City. Not only is it affordable, but there’s a great variety of food available at the buffet section along with the meats that are served in the restaurant. I always leave with a full belly and very satisfied. The staff is incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful as well. They always explain every cut of meat that comes out. Definitely make sure to come here with an appetite because it’s easy to get full with so much protein. There’s some great sides as well, including traditional Brazilian, black beans, and white rice, along with other Side dishes that are served. . Definitely come here. Ready to leave full. And of course, don’t forget to try a dessert on your way out.

Lucas was very kind and attentive to our needs. The sangria is bomb, I preferred the red one but everyone else liked the white which was a bit sweeter. The meats are fire of course, particularly the top sirloin. Salad bar is nice too, I really liked the potato and couscous. Pão de queijo is freshhhh. If you're looking for an authentic Brazilian barbecue experience, Rio Bonito Grill does not disappoint. First and foremost, they are halal certified, which was a huge plus for us. We went for the $35 per person Brazilian BBQ option, which doesn’t include tip—just a heads-up, it’s charged based on the headcount. As soon as you're seated, you're given a quick intro and then sent off to the salad bar, which offers a solid mix of cold and hot items. I appreciated the variety—it’s a nice warm-up before the real feast begins. Once back at your table, the servers come around fast and furious with nonstop cuts of meat. We had everything from ribeye steak, lamb, chicken wings, to chicken breast wrapped in turkey bacon. It was an absolute meat lover's dream. I tried to see how much I could handle but tapped out by the third plate. Trust me, come on an empty stomach. Drinks and desserts are extra, including mocktails, sodas, and water. We were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert, though they did look tempting on the menu. Service was great—our server was friendly, smiling, and very attentive throughout the meal. The only downside is parking. It’s located in Steinway, and we had to park about a block and a half away, so factor that in if you're driving. Overall, this is a fun, flavorful, and filling experience that I highly recommend if you’re ready to feast.

The buffet has a good amount variety including potato salad, couscous, beet salad, and beef short ribs. I’ve been a fan of the supermarket side for a while—it never disappoints—but this was my first time trying the restaurant, and it exceeded expectations. Let’s start with the caipirinha. After being let down by other places, I was hesitant—but one sip changed everything. Hands down the best caipirinha I’ve had! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I noticed a previous review that praised the staff but still leaned negative overall, which didn’t reflect my experience at all. Everyone here was attentive and genuinely kind. A quick note for first-timers: if you sit at the bar, you won’t have access to the buffet—they offer a separate menu there. But if you’re dining in the main area, the $35 all-you-can-eat option is a steal. They bring around a great variety of meats. Parking was easy, as always—never an issue here. I’d absolutely recommend Rio Bonito Grill to anyone. I’ll definitely be coming back. Don’t miss the Rio bonito cocktail —it was out of this world. And again, that caipirinha? Unbeatable. Bartenders and manager just no words.

Expectations were blown away at this establishment, me and my family had a great time. Price in my opinion is fantastic, Finally getting Halal all you can eat Brazilian! Staff was super friendly, and the meat was super tender. Especially the top sirloin, lamb & chicken wings. They said they only have about 8 different meats, but we felt like we had more which was great! 100% recommend visiting and I’ll be going again! Try to come an hour before your initial time because they don’t do reservations, the place is not super big but it’s a nice cozy environment!

I do believe I would have had a better experience simply because I did visit on a holiday, however I will try them once again just to confirm if truly the holiday was the cause for some of the interactions. First, I noticed that they were a little understaffed as there wasn’t anyone at the door to greet and see you. One of the waitresses needed to stop to see us. Secondly, it took about 10 -15 minutes for a waitress to come over to give us a menu and also let us know about the deals. However, sadly, there was a couple who came in behind us, but they were already eating and had menus while our order was being taken. So the fact that they were served first was a small mistake. My partner and I went with the all you can eat option and as well purchased piña colada’s . The drinks were extremely watered down as he had a mocktail and I had a cocktail and they were not far apart in taste. It was mostly whipped cream and pineapple juice. There were about 3 to 4 men serving the meats, and about two of them were very consistent with most of the tables. There is an older gentleman and a more solid, tall gentleman who were very attentive and kept coming to our table, however the other two at times bypassed our table, even though they were standing right next to it, and our sign did say yes, more meat. Again, these are things that I am hoping were only this wrong due to it being a holiday and fully packed however, I will be back again to see if this is more of a bias or just overwhelmed atmosphere. The open buffet has a decent selection of side options. I just wish there were more vegetable options opposed to starch (personal love). The meats are flavorful not heavily marinated, but well seasoned and grilled.

I have no real notes! The meat was well seasoned, juicy, and fresh. Lucas was our waiter and he was super attentive and sweet. The only thing I would say is maybe less mayo in the potato salad and the items like cheese bread and fried cauliflower and fried fish should be closer to the heat lamp as they were just barely warm. Is this the best Brazilian BBQ you'll ever have? Probably not. But it's $35 for AYCE meat, so are you really complaining? In these inflationary times, that's practically free. Came here with my AYCE group, and we tried it all. Best cuts were the lamb and all forms of chicken (super tender). I probably could've eaten more, but I went to Gui Steakhouse the night before (social organizing fail) and was pretty meat-ed out. Still, I could tell the quality was on point. And who doesn't love complimentary pao de queijo? Of the salad/app buffet bar, the mashed potatoes and diced cabbage got repeat scoops from me. Their chimichurri sauce was tasty, but having just had a wasabi-fied version at Gui the night before, I didn't get too much. I had a good amount of Brazilian BBQ when I visited Brazil (my favorite country that I've ever been to), and while Rio Bonito isn't as good, it's a lot better than your overpriced Fogo de Chaos. So schlep over to Astoria if you want quality cheap meats. All the good food is in Queens, anyway.

First impression it’s a small spot. Crowed the day I went. Went for their halal AYCE. The quality is very good for the price. They had chicken, beef, lamb and other assortments. What I would improve is having salt and pepper on the table to season the meat. As per service, it was little slow. One of the older gentleman had little attitude with him while severing but the manger made it up when he hooked us up with a free desert. Shout out to him, very kind fellow.

Went for dinner with my friends..We had a 35 minutes wait time to get in. the food is tasting , all the meats are cook to perfection. The salad bar has new great options.from rice to pastas, all kinds of veggies. this is all you could eat for 39.99 . They give u a card to either have the meats coming or stopping. We had a Brazilian cocktail but the dont be strong at all . Better to get beers that way u know what u get. After 45 min of been there we noticed that they waiters kept going around our table intead of asking if wanted those cuts. If they give u a time limit u should not stop the meat service.I actually had to say something for them to serve the table again .Also 3 of us did not wanted more food so the waiter removed our plates and very discreet turned the card to no meat service. 2 of my other friends still wanted meat. Not a nice look of doing that . we had also to look for the waitress to get a second round of drinks. Again no complaints on the meats or salad bar, very tasty and lots of options.Also it was 5 of us and we had a table of 4 with barery limited space specially me using a wheelchair. When leaving the wheelchair exit was blocked by other customers and tables. We also had to tell them to turn of the air conditioner it was freezing specially when outside was on the 50s. The first time I went there the service was much better and no weird tactics

All you can eat. Very tastey meat but on the salty side. Had to take two breaks. Plenty of food. Buffet has a nice salad bar. Good drinks at a great price. Had to tap out after 1 hr.

Good Brazilian AYCE steak place in Astoria. They offer well marinated steak, lamb, chicken and they were all good! Buffet had more authentic Brazilian spread of food and service was friendly. It’s a good value for $35 and if you are meat lover, you will definitely enjoy it.

All you can eat Halal Brazilian steakhouse located in Astoria, Queens NY. For $35 per person, you have access to 4-5 cuts of grilled meat including steak, lamb and chicken along with a limited buffet bar that has salads, appetizers, and fried goods. Pretty solid for the value, definitely not as extensive as some of the other traditional Brazilian steakhouses. Went on a Thursday evening and it was mostly empty. Service was fast and friendly. Really appreciate the fact that they have made their entire menu Halal and no longer have any cross contamination.

Firstly, the place opens after 5pm and there are no reservations so anyone coming with a group has to account for that. When we visited, the place was not overcrowded (Thursday) so its worked out. The food is generally good but very inconsistent, even to the extent that same meat cut but offered at different time could go between great and not great. The salad bar was decent but what really worked was the servers were very pleasant and the desert was great. Would I be back? Perhaps as its worth at a one-time visit for halal brazillian bbq…

This trending Brazilian churrascaria serves up non-stop beef, chicken and lamb (be prepared to wait for your turn). Our table happens to be the one nearest the kitchen exit where the waiters come out with long skewers of meat which unfortunately means the initial slices of the meat that are well-done darker and saltier were given to us. We had to specifically say to serve other tables first and then come back to us so we can get the rarer more tender inner portions of the beef. Some beef were tasty and some not so much. The chicken wings were great— jumbo size and juicy. The lamb was a bit gamey but still good. They also had chicken hearts. There was a buffet bar also that had fries, onion rings, rice, mashed yuca, salad, shrimp and fish in butter stew. We also asked for salsa, chimichurri and salt to put on our meats to lessen the cloying essence. Overall though it was a fun experience.

Went for the AYCE but food tastes differed wildly in between orders. Sometimes it’s cooked and seasoned perfectly, but often times it’s too salty or undercooked. Worth going for the one time.

This is a good place to try if you don't want to spend $55-$70 for places like AG steakhouse or Fogo. Just know though that the price is gonna reflect the quality! This place was VERY mid compared to AG and FoGo. I highly dislike that they come around just ONCE with the higher quality meat. Not the greatest spot but not bad either.

Went here out of curiosity as I often see a line gathered outside. The staff were extremely professional and welcoming, but the food was typical to that of Brazilian stake houses I have visited. Though the offering was a bit smaller and so was the buffet section. The drinks however, were outstanding. All said and done it was a nice spot to grab a bite and experience the delight of Brazilian cuisine. However I would not wait online for this.

Usually I can make the most of a AYCE place but the meat was not tasty, the seasoning they use wasn’t to our liking, not sure if this is typical of Brazilian prepared meat but it didn’t match our taste buds. We left early and it felt like a waste of $100 for two. 2 stars because the buffet food was good and my pina colada was good.

This place is SUPER BUSY. You’re going to get what you pay for. Host was pretty unhelpful over the phone, when we got there she told us the wait time was 40 min and just left us to wait there literally covering the entrance. There is no place to wait but in front of all the people eating. I get that it’s busy but being nice goes a long way, it didn’t even seemed like she cared if we stayed or not. Anyways we got seated like 10 min later which was nice. Waitress was pretty nice. The meat was not good in my opinion, they don’t really have too many options, a lot of it was VERY RARE which I get some people like but not everyone. The “Buffet” is tiny, only one rice option which was not very good. Cleanliness: bathrooms we’re disgusting. Women at bathroom had random cups on the floor, one with water. So gross, one of the male staff came out of the women’s bathroom. Would I go back? Never - I can find better options to eat for $35 at a much more friendly and clean establishment

I went with my family over the weekend. The food was excellent and the meat was delicious and juicy. However, the service was disappointing. Our server, Angelina, was in a bad mood and did not explain the desserts to our mother.

Food was terrible; I never eat such bad food. I spent 50 USD on it, and all the meats were super salty, overcooked, and tasted horrible. The salad bar was varied but tasted terrible. I ate only french fries and cheese bread. Service was fine, the lady was nice, and the atmosphere was okay, but the food was not. I know you get what you pay for, but if they're not going to offer better food, why have a restaurant? I will never, never come back.
