Nice little bar, open till 4am (at least on weekends!). Mostly a locals bar, but they are friendly and the bar tender was nice. Decent selection of draft beers. Cash only but there is an ATM in the bar.

The bartender Helen was the best. Recommended local craft beers and they were great. Pool table was good. Overall great experience.

One of my favorite haunts when back in NYC. Veronica's has a "Cheersesque" clientele who all get along quite well even from completely different walks of life or boroughs. This is a cash only establishment, but there is an ATM in the back that charges reasonable fees.

Coolest staff. Went there a couple years back with a huge group after a fight. I forgot to leave a review but they were so awesome i had to come back & let em know how great they were. I wish I could remember their names. It was a female bartender & a male server / bar back. Professional & patient. They held it down even tho the place was packed. I was lit but I took a picture of the bar so I could remember to leave a review. Hope they're doing well.

Came here on New Years Eve after my flight to the city was delayed and we spent New Years on a plane. This bar made up for the terrible experience I had been having that night. Both Veronica, and her daughter were the most pleasant bar hosts and patrons. I felt at home, and the vibes were amazing. If I visit again, I'll definitely be spending my money here again.

Every time I do a show in Astoria, I make a stop here beforehand. I love this bar. Pretty much, local oriented with some occasional strangers like me passing through. It's just nice to sit there and listen to the locals' usual conversations. Drinks are cheap and they have a classic jukebox.

They had Guinness on tap, a good selection of gin, and friendly people. If you are a wine drinker, not much selection.

Stopped in for a few hours while visit NYC on vacation in April of 2016. The owner, Veronica, and the bartender were welcoming and we enjoyed our time talking with them. We're visiting NYC again soon and will definitely be going back. Great neighborhood corner tap!

My wife and I stepped into this place just to have a beer. We were immediately drawn into conversation with Veronica, the owner. She and her regulars made you feel like you just sat down to table with your very outspoken, opinionated family. There was bickering and verbal sparring but most of all there was a whole lot of love, affection and friendship. Judy, the bartender on duty, affectionately greeted everyone who came in. Next time we're in NY we'll be stopping in again to visit new friends.

(Sneak Preview of the Jennifer Lawerence movie, "NO Hard Feelings" Very funny !! We went to play pool & have a couple adult beverages. We had more adult beverages than pool games. LoL. Patti was a great professional. When our drinks were 90% gone she asked if we would like to have another sip. LoL Very nostalgic going back to Veronica's. Wish Veronica, Eddie, Lorraine, Virginia & Butch all the Best!! Such a great Irish pub for so long !! All the Best Red Roy & Flo
