I usually dread this McDonald’s and refer to it as the worst one around. However, the past couple of times I’ve been here, I was pleasantly surprised. The worker Kasandra went above and beyond and is the only person there who seems to truly care about their job. If there were more workers like her then this McDonald’s wouldn’t have the bad reputation it has now. I hope this store see’s the hard work she puts in and does something about it.

McDonald’s is a great choice for quick, tasty, and affordable food. The service is fast, the fries are always hot, and the menu has something for everyone. The mobile app makes ordering super convenient, and the rewards are a nice bonus. Reliable and satisfying every time!

EDIT: The lady manager this morning was rude. There's no reason to have an attitude towards customers for no reason. I'm always respectful (yes mam/no mam). Blew my mind. Only a couple of cars came and went while I was there waiting 25 minutes for a small mobile order and I was still respectful even tho she wasn't. I'm surprised to see all the bad comments about the staff. Morning and night staff have been amazing and super sweet! The food always takes FOREVER tho. I always mobile order and still have to wait like 20 minutes. They're still new so maybe they are trying to get a handle on everything 🤷‍♀️

This McDonald's has never screwed up a single special order we have ever made. We get special orders every time we visit. Now we have gotten twice fried French fries once during a late lunch but its not the norm. Mgr seems to take pride and care about service.

It's Micky D's, you know it. It is what it is. Food is just as overpriced as you remember. You know what you are going to get and they deliver exactly that no more and sometimes less.

One of the most disorganized McDonald’s I’ve ever seen. Staff seemed untrained or overwhelmed. I walked out after 6 customers told me they'd been waiting 15+ minutes just for someone to take their order. McDonald’s needs to prioritize in-store customers over drive-thru when short-staffed.

Both drive thru order screens are showing a 20pc chicken nuggets with a basket of fries for $10 deal. The person working the drive thru said they are not honoring that deal and they have had to tell multiple customers that. Managers, do your darn job and get it removed if that is the case. You are putting your employees in a horrible position!

This is one of the new Food Slot™ with no human interaction style McDonald's. You go there and order something with the kiosk, your food slides out of the food slot. If you want refills on a drink the kitchen workers will ignore you while pumping food out the dine-in slot or the drive-up slot. Dining room has a prison cafeteria atmosphere to it.

While on the way to my friends house in Little Elm, he asked me to drop by and grab a double quarter pounder with cheese. At first, it was not busy after all it was 2 PM, so I was a little surprised with the wait… maybe they were busy catching up from the lunch rush or preparing for the evening rush. I did not get a receipt in the drive-through nor did I get napkins. I decided to wait until the person returned. I had three cars behind me so instead of going inside I figured it was not worth my time to park it. Well, I guess there’s room for improvement.

There was a problem with my order and when I spoke with the “manager” his response was “ok”. He said he would replace it if I left work and invested another 40 minutes to go there and get it. I asked if he could just replace it tomorrow and he said no. (it was 6.99 in food) I asked for his name because I was going to call the District Manager. At that point, he hung up on me. I called back only to find out he wasn't a manager. The actual manager gave me a first name and phone number of “the district manager” - When I called the voicemail was not set up. I am very disappointed. I visit this location 4 to 5 times a week. I think today was my last time. The food was hot or miss but I granted them grace because of staffing issues. But no excuse for poor customer service from management.

Every time that I have gone to this McDonald’s, they have gotten my order wrong and take even longer to get it, right. The Hispanic supervisor or manager has a terrible attitude. She wears a white shirt every day. I’m not sure what her name is, but her attitude is terrible. The young Indian lady with the maroon shirt also has a terrible attitude.

Visited the drive thru tonight about 6pm. I had to repeat my order about 8 times and the guy on the other end still wound up getting it wrong. What is so hard about a #2 and a #7 with sweet teas. I wound up canceling the order and leaving.

Ordered the $5 Mc Double meal. Brought it home and found 4 slices of Americsn cheese in the container that should have had chicken McNuggets.Real funny crew that you have. . Hope you had a good laugh pulling that on a customer.

Ordered deliver from this place and 2nd time my burger is not cooked. First time it was parts of light pink. Gave it a second chance and I got basically raw patty ! Literally disgusted. 🤢

I'm only writing this review because I've had MULTIPLE terrible experiences at this McDonald's location. Tonight, I ordered a happy meal (for one of my children) with chicken nuggets, and to my surprise when I get home to feed my kids, theres no nuggets in the happy meal whatsoever. The snack wrap chicken tender was completely burnt to a crisp & inedible. I never get the sauces I ask for with my order. Overall, most experiences here have been disappointing. I will be taking my business to the McDonald's in Cross Roads moving forward.

Young guy in the drive thru was extremely rude when we came back through because they messed up our order. Had a poor attitude and acted like we were in the wrong because he couldn’t get our order right 3 times and decided to be a jerk because we just wanted the order we placed and paid for. Icing on the top, food was cold. This location always has some type of issue with rude employees, messed up orders, etc.

I love McDonald’s but this location is not good, the food taste old and they don’t even give you your full portion of a medium fry.

Great location. Service is extremely slow whether you order via app, go inside or visit the drive-thru. The employees attitude are horrendous along with the food at times. Food is either undercooked or cold. If you can avoid this location, please do so!

Every time I come to through the drive thru I have to park in one of the overflow spaces. Then I wait 10 plus minutes. Then I get my food and my large fry barely has a small fries worth of fries. Every. Single. Time. The location and proximity is the only reason I come to this one. However, I am done. I will not be back. Guess I'll just have to drive further, learn to like Wendy's, or God forbid cook my own meal.

The employees were mean when we ordered, they were saying to stop ordering when we had to get food for all of our family. Personally I was embarrassed, would not recommend this mc Donalds.

I stood at the counter for more than 5 minutes waiting for help. One of the workers saw me and I asked for help, they turned and walked away and I never got any help.

I wanted to go in and you know get a good review of this place and I was not expecting it. This McDonald’s is more for teenagers than for families. I sent out the table had to wait a long time for my food to come out and all I ordered was a hot and spicy and large fry. I ordered a caramel frappe it was only ice. The frappe was not blended at all I was just tasting ice. My fries were no salt on them and I asked for salt then I ordered again because I was like oh this can’t be right maybe there’s just a one time thing I had to go up there and get my food because they didn’t bring it to me because I was waiting too long no free refills

Placed a mobile order online 45 minutes before closing. Pull up to the restaurant with about 35 minutes left, and was completely ignored. I knocked on the window multiple time, and at least 4 employees looked right at me. After about 8 minutes someone finally helped. If I’d have been able to cancel the order and get a refund, I would have. However , there is no such option on the app. Avoid this McDonald’s. The one in the Kroger shopping center a little ways down is a million times better

Edit: have gone back twice since my first bad review. Still terrible. Tried walking in to place order, employees ignore the lobby. They refuse to take an order and tell you that you must use the kiosk. Kiosk doesn't offer a full menu, and I had to yell into the kitchen to ask for help and was told I needed to use the kiosk. After explaining i couldn't they reluctantly took my order. The last time: I tried curbside. Checked in and waited 15 minutes... Nothing. Walked into the lobby to see 5 people standing around waiting on food complaining about the lack of service. Again had to yell into the kitchen to get help. My order had been sitting there done. The employees then began to argue over whose job it was to take out the curbside orders. They never decided. Apparently they can't do drive thru, curbside, or dine in orders. So what's left? Also where is the fountain drink dispenser?? I couldn't find one, oh wait you have to ask the non existent employees for drinks. Original Review: The restaurant closed 30 mins early.. left all the lights on. Employees made rude jesters at us when we pulled up to drive thu to see what the issue was. Sad to see a new location with 40 reviews and only 2 stars...

Tried to order a meal to take to my son. Before I finished, the rude order taker interrupted before I could finish (it wanted to upscale me). Went inside and ordered, 4 Uber drivers we waiting for what appeared a lengthy wait. My simple order took 15 minutes. Staff was extremely rude (except for one older gentleman trying to help) and really, really slow. Food was cold, fries were sparce. There are two other McDonald's about 3 miles either direction--RUN TO THEM!!! This McDonald's should close, it's not managed very well--it's actually worse than the Popeye's on 380 and I thought that would be impossible. We have a new player in ineptitude!!

I waited over 20 minutes for it … I complained and let the manager know and he gave me attitude saying ‘ so don’t want a refund or your food ‘ , I said I want the food that’s what I’ve been waiting for !!!! Did not get to eat here because they were out of drinks. As we ordered, the drink choices were limited to only Regulat Tea, Sweat Tea, and Lemonade. Everything else (Soft drinks, Shakes, etc) showed as Sold Out!! We moved on down the road.

Only get it when it actually comes with the combo like nuggets but if I get them separately (WHICH AGAIN, YOU PAY FOR THE SAUCES) they just pocket the $1-$2 I ask for in sauces.

I was appalled at the way I was just treated, by the manager no less. I placed a mobile order and selected drive thru for my pickup method. The guy at the order screen asked if I had a mobile order and asked for my code. I gave it to him and he said to pull up to the 2nd window. When I got there, an employee informed me that I should be going inside to pick it up but she would make an exception this time. I told her I've never had to do that before and why else would the guy at the order screen ask if I was picking up a mobile order if that wasn't an option? Then the manager behind her begins to have a literal tantrum about how confused he was. He was openly speaking negatively about me to his employees and saying he was so frustrated that I had messed everyone up with my mobile order. He even went as far to question his employee if I had even paid for my food. All the while Im sitting in my car watching this manager have a full blown meltdown about me. I spoke directly to him (since he hadn't bothered to even speak to me) and told him I had my receipt and could show him I paid and chose the drive thru option. As I was trying to show him, he said he didnt have time for this and stormed off. Then he came back and proceeded to berate me about how McDonalds needs to fix their app and stop letting customers pick up mobile orders in the drive thru because its difficult and confusing for him. I simply told him I dont work there and his tantrum was misdirected. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to speak negatively about me very loudly to his employees. It was truly the most unprofessional and jarring experience Ive had. I was berated and yelled at for using the system correctly. Im sorry that it was too difficult for your manager to mange. When we got home, the food was stale and cold.
