Sandwiches were solid, bread was really good. The service was great from Chase and Lucas. Also good atmosphere, I like the Jack the skeleton

We honestly tried to go camping and not go out on the 4th of July. A family emergency occurred instead and we found ourselves looking for food at 4 pm in Auburn. We were just happy to find something not fast food. However we also found great service and delicious food & beer. And they closed at 5 so the staff could still go out after work. So happy to have found them!

We had a wonderful lunch. The staff went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We did. I asked for a free refill on my beer and that was sadly declined. I had the Malibu and my wife had the Hawaiian salad. Empty plates all around.

What a great place to grab a meal! The owners are friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is chill. It’s my go to spot in Auburn.

The folk working here are very fun. The only thing I don't like (but not worth losing stars over) is parking. I have a full size pickup, and there is not a whole lot of parking available near the deli. But that's not their fault that I drive a behemoth (it has a purpose, not just a road warrior). I really like their "local" sandwiches. They put thought into taking care of their peeps.

This is the best deli in Auburn. Period. Been eating at the Beach since the Granite Bay store opened and happy to see the continued growth while still maintaining superior quality. Employees are great, always helpful. Clean. Fresh. Fast.Sorry If you think it's too expensive but quality products cost. If in Auburn stop and get some!

This place has bomb salads. The Mesa is so good. 10/10 will keep going here. I bet their sandwiches are just as good too. It's not as fast as Subway but their quality is 100 times better.

Had a truly wonderful experience here! We are visiting Auburn to attend a funeral and I had been craving a certain type of sandwich all day. The deli we visited for lunch didnt have it. Beach hut didnt normally have it either BUT they put the ingredients together to create it from scratch and it's some of the best I've ever had. Also, while they were "creating" the masterpiece, they were a joy to talk to. We have never had so much fun ordering a sandwich before. And the lettuce wrap was fantastic!!

The owner, Mike and his colleagues in the kitchen and the young lady who they just hired at the register are funny and sweet and helpful and go out of their way to assist you. Most importantly, the place is clean. And my husband wanted another sandwich which is not very common because he’s the biggest food 🥘 critic food I’ve ever encountered I’m not jk. 🙉 We have their stickers on our sippy cups, and our lunchboxes and even mom’s face . We went today after a 9 hour road trip scrambling to find dinner. We walked over and saw their sign said they close at 8(it was 7:55) we said oh sorry and turned around. The owner said no come in and make yourselves at home! We live in Santa Cruz and they have a specialty sandwich at just that location, not the other beach huts. The owner was more than happy to make it we just told him the ingredients. Imagine our surprise when it tasted BETTER than the Santa Cruz locations, and he had to make it up on the spot. I know this is a lengthy review but we had such a great experience and really enjoyed talking with the crew. We will be going out of our way to come here when traveling between the bay and meadow vista. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

This particular hut location has had its ups , downs the past 8 or so years. However the past couple years I've been here, their hospitality is more than my home. The new ownership is nothing shy of spectacular! They are the only location that goes above and beyond to try new things and I greatly appreciate that. This place offers the best beach hut experience I’ve ever had. The owners are beyond friendly, and the Sammie’s are top notch. Also a great beer selection. Couldn’t recommend this spot enough. As a life Long Beach hut fan this is my fav spot.

Great service and all I was doing is picking up an order for a customer. They are very clean and well done. Will have to check on ordering for myself someday. Had a sandwich 2025 The bread tasted stale and not fresh the rest was good. But the bread just tastes old and dry.

Just finished the Santa Cruz. Good but so many ingredients I could hardly taste the pastrami, and I held the cream cheese. Great service, very friendly and fun looking place but the prices put it over the edge. $27 for a 12" is too steep for just a sandwich, for me anyway.

I knew I should not have stayed and ordered when the girl said the only bread that was left was wheat bread. So I ordered a sandwich on the menu that comes on wheat bread. Got it to go. Got to my vehicle, opened up the sandwich to eat and the sandwich looked like it was stepper on! The bread was all smashed and torn up, the contents of the sandwich was smeared all around. The bread was very dry and probably shouldn't have been used in the first place. Terrible way to serve a customer.

The bread and meat seem to have lost its quality under new ownership. Also noticed there is less sauce in sandwiches. This location does not hold the standard that beach hut deli is known to have.

I used to love this place. Their salads were amazing and sandwiches were killer. Then, over the last few months, things started to die off. They would mess up my orders, leave things out, and go skimpy on things. So, I wrote management and gave them a heads up. That was weeks ago. I figured enough time had passed for them to figure it out. Today, I my salad was missing avocado, they put onions even though I asked for no onions and clearly tried to remove them, and put way too many pepperoncinis on top. It's too bad because I really enjoyed supporting area businesses. If you have any suggestions for local salad shops, please let me know.

Ordered a sandwich online and was told it would take 20 mins. Waited 35 just to make sure. I have a business close by and briefly locked the doors and ran over to get my sandwich ( 2 min walk) My sandwich was not ready so I stood in front of the counter waiting patiently. Why I wont ever go back to this location is that while I was waiting I could hear the employees behind the counter bantering that I was staring at them and not just once but several times. I confronted them that I could hear them and thought it was rude. Even thought I got an un-sincere apology, they said it was weird I was staring and waiting for my sandwich. HELLO, I was just waiting for my sandwich!!! Will never go back to this rude location!!!

Zero quality control. Arrived 20 minutes after placing online order to find my sandwich was just being started... The person preparing it walked away and it was finished by someone who came out of the back. No other customers in the restaurant and no other online orders from what I could tell. My sandwich had about a third of the normal quantity that I have come to know over 15 years of being a customer of beach hut deli locations. Very little meat and cream cheese so I ended up with lots of bread left over which is not the normal beach hut experience by any means. I did not order a drink but the drink refrigerator was very disheveled and look like it had not been restocked or straightened all day. It really pains me to leave a one-star review for a small business but the owners or corporate beach hut needs to start paying attention. This location is an embarrassment to the beach hut brand and feels like a rip off for what you get.

Was told place had poor customer service but was driving by. Walked in. No friendly hi’s or anything. Stood at cash register for about 4 minutes watching 3 employees talk and make sandwiches. Nothing. No “I’ll be right with you” or friendly smile. Acted like I wasn’t even there. Couple behind me shook their head and said they been waiting 30 minutes for food. Went next door to Chronic Tacos. Food was amazing and worker welcomed me as soon as I walked in.

So me and my family decided to get beach hut deli today because our men were working on my moms house so we put in the order online because they weren’t answering the phone and it said pick up was in about 25 minutes. We show up and there are only two girls working in there and they said that they haven’t even started the online order and it would be another 30 minutes. We said that was fine so we went to Tribal Weaver for 30 minutes and then returned. Upon returning we asked if our order was ready and the brunette girl in the back said that she assumed that we didn’t want our order anymore so she refunded it. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service, I believe that you would only cancel an order if the customer requested it. And when we said we talked to the other girl and she said to come back in 30 minutes she just replied oh I didn’t hear that conversation. luckily we were able to get a hold of the other beach hut deli in North Auburn and they had our order ready in 20 minutes .

I am super disappointed in both the lack of good service and the food at this location. We ordered a BBQ chicken salad through door dash and it came with no chicken or cheese. I called Bowman location and she said "I'm pretty sure that's not us, we didn't have that order" I said, ok, I guess I'll try the other one. She said "yeah I'll check our system in a bit" why on Earth would that be helpful if we are hanging up the phone? So I call the Dry Creek location and she actually checks her system and confirms that they didn't have the order. I call the Bowman location back and she says "oh yeah that was us. We have a new person and I'm pretty sure they forgot like most of it, sorry" I said ok, can you initiate a new order since you messed it up? "Oh yeah we can. Wait, we're actually out of chicken" This whole thing is ridiculous. We were able to get a refund through doordash, but the fact that their staff didn't think it was necessary to A. Alert the customer they're out of chicken and just sent the salad anyways and Didn't think it was necessary to actually check the door dash system is awful. We are now waiting who knows how long for a new order from the other location, and no guarantee it will be correct

BBQ chicken salad had literally one piece of chicken on it, and I had two dead bugs in the salad. Service took forever and it was poorly put together. I love Beachhut but this location is not good. This is not the first time I’ve had poor service but it’s the last time I show up at this location for anything. Super disappointed.
