Pasquale’s in Old Town Auburn absolutely hit the spot! We grabbed a big cozy booth and the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a family-run Italian spot — welcoming, relaxed, and full of good energy. Our waitress was wonderful, super friendly, and kept everything flowing effortlessly. The food? Delicious. My salad was huge and fresh, and the pasta was tasty. We also enjoyed a couple of cold beers — perfect pairing for a chill night out. And while we didn’t try the ice cream bar this time, they’ve got a ton of options I’m absolutely coming back for. If you’re in Auburn and craving great Italian with great service, Pasquale’s is an easy five stars.
This restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, including a bar, cafe area, and dining areas. There is also outdoor dining available. We ordered the Lobster Ravioli and Lasagna, with a Caesar Salad. My wife really enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli, and the Lasagna was some of the best I've had, with a rich meat sauce! The Caesar salad was really good, with plenty of dressing and lots of freshly shaved Parmesan. The service was friendly, and the food came out timely.
Dining at Pasquale's Ristorante makes you feel like you are eating a home-cooked family meal in Italy. Imagine pasta tossed with rich, flavorful sauces, paired perfectly with freshly baked bread and salads made with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and romantic with warm lighting and comfortable seating. This would be the perfect second date spot. Enjoy a delicious Italian meal. Then stroll along Old Town Auburn window shopping. Happy hour is Tuesday-Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 3:00 to 6 pm. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
We had a delightful evening at Pasquale’s Ristorante! Our group of 4 enjoyed a feast of flavors, with chicken fettuccine, succulent meatballs, a generously-sized salad (though the lettuce could be improved beyond iceberg), flavorful pesto fettuccine, mouthwatering lasagna, and the divine rigatoni alfredo ala prosciutto. Gina, our server, was exceptional, catering to every little request and ensuring our experience was top-notch. While we savored the food, there are some areas for improvement. We recommend swift greetings at the front door and prompt seating, as we had a bit of a wait. Pricing seemed a tad steep for the portion sizes, and some cooling adjustments indoors would be great. The kids' high chair design could be enhanced to prevent leaning, unlike the standard ones we're accustomed to. Also, keeping drinks refilled consistently would enhance the overall experience. Despite these minor notes, we had a fantastic time, thanks in large part to Gina's attentiveness. With a few tweaks, this place could be a true gem!
Decided to grab some Italian for lunch after a long hike in Auburn. Tried Pasquale’s Ristorante and was not disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and my wife got the Cheese Tortellini with Pesto Sauce. Both were served with garlic bread. Food was fantastic, great pricing and our server Tatum was super friendly and very attentive. Nothing but good reviews for this establishment. We will definitely be going back again on our next trip through Auburn.
Pasquale's did not disappoint! So good! First time here, we love Italian food! We travel quite often and at least once during our trips we choose Italian in the place we are visiting. I had the Mushroom Ravioli with Creamy Pesto sauce. Perfect. It was not acidic in any way. Perfect blend of pesto and cream (Alfredo) sauce. Raviolis were not mushy or too al denti, it was perfect. Mushrooms were fresh. I thought I'd have to bring some home but kept graze eating, even if I was full. My husband and daughter had the chicken parmigiana. He really enjoyed it also. Chicken was perfect, not dry. My son-in-law, who is Italian, really enjoyed his creamy pesto fettuccine with Italian sausages. My grandkids had a simple cheese pizza and they loved it. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for outdoor, and the weather was perfect. The kids were a little restless, and so it helped that we were outdoors. Kid friendly yet I can see the inside has areas where you can have a nice date. Very friendly staff as well. Service was great.
We tried Auburn Pasquale’s for the first time. We had a party of six, and expected service to probably be slow, but our server proved us wrong. She was attentive, friendly and efficient. The appetizers were great. Four out of the six of us really enjoyed our main dishes, they were delicious. Two of us thought their pasta dishes were just OK. All in all, Auburn Pasquale’s is a great place for dinner. Conveniently located, friendly staff and clean establishment. Will definitely be back.

Let me premise this review with the fact that I've worked in the hospitality industry for eighteen years (the entirety of my working career). I have a significant understanding/appreciation of, and a deep love for restaurants; as well as the people who work in them. Pasquale's, the spiritual and literal successor of Pasquale T's, holds a profound place in my heart. I remember being excited whenever my parents asked if my sister and I wanted to eat out at Pasquale T's when we were growing up. The food reminds me of being a kid again. That is not to say the dishes lack elegance, far from it actually; everything I taste here is absolutely amazing, and brings me great joy. With that wordy mouthful out of my system, I would just like anyone and everyone to know this is a special place. The food is excellent. The people are courteous and kind, and I am so happy to be able to enjoy such a wonderful place. (The pictures are of the Seafood Fettucine and the Shredded Beef Raviolis. Both were out of this world and come with garlic bread. Sorry there isn't a picture of the garlic bread, I ate it all too fast)
If someone asked me today what my favorite restaurant is, there's no doubt in my mind it would be Pasquale's. The food is incredible and consistent, the marinara is phenomenal, and there's a great selection of wine! For the price point, it is well worth every penny. Lovely decor/atmosphere and the staff are all friendly. Would highly recommend, and already excited to return again for another meal! Chef's kiss!
Absolutely the BEST clam chowder I've ever had. We ordered a small salad and it was HUGE and delicious. We also had the fried raviolis and those were very good as well. We will definitely go back
We shared the fig prosciutto pizza which was perfection. Crispy on the bottom and chewy on the edges. It was a cross between an appetizer and dessert- just the thing for the day after Thanksgiving. Using fresh figs in season would be a good idea. Nice beer and wine list. Staff very professional and friendly.
The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were delicious and healthy. The ravioli and eggplant parmisiana were great. As was the Pumpkin Pie Creme Brulee. But the best part was Mindy, our server! Bright, friendly and highly efficient. We had acgreat experience!
The whole experience was very good. The food was excellent. Authentic old school recipes. The salad was crispy cold, served on cold plates. The eggplant parmesana was perfect! Sauces were homemade, beautiful color. Hands down better than the place up the street on Lincoln way.. I won't name names, but there's only two italian restaurants in old town Auburn. Upon entering, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. The only drawback I would say is it took over ten minutes for someone to come to our table to ask us if we wanted something to drink and bring us silverware. At 4 pm on Sunday they were not busy yet. Other than that, everything was good. But they really should improve on that. Once you are seated, there should be somebody at your table asking you what you would like to drink within 3-5 minutes. Must haves: their homemade olives and the antipasti salad! Overall, Excellent, I'll be going again!
I’m not rating this against Italian restaurants but against road place stops. If you are passing through, definitely worth a stop. Was so hungry I forgot to take photos. I ended up sharing the 16 oz 21 day dry aged ribeye with a friend. Had it with their excellent risotto, usually I’m not the biggest risotto fan but I loved there’s and would come back again and order the same thing.
I must've driven past this not-so-little restaurant & nvr even knew 😭 it's quite a gem, tucked away from the main road a bit & offers plenty of parking. Came in as part of a large group with varied tastes & everyone left FULL & Satisfied! Moderately priced & with decent portions. I personally ordered the Gluten-free Pizza (allergies, ya know) & enjoyed it immensely. It's definitely enough for 3 or more to share tho!
We took a drive up To Auburn and stumbled upon this restaurant. I had the eggplant parmesan, the red sauce was excellent. We arrived early at 4:30 and beat the crowd. The service was good and the food was delicious. The wine list is extensive.
Took my 10-year-old daughter and her friends to Auburn Pasquale's—cozy vibe, excellent service. My Seafood Sicily Linguine (jumbo scallops & prawns in light Pinot Grigio sauce with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes) was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The girls loved their Kids Chicken Strips ($11)—crispy and a total hit. Portions generous, staff kid-friendly. Solid authentic Italian without pretense. We'll return!

Highly recommend getting a booth as the chairs are quite hard. I went to sit at a booth when being told to sit anywhere and was informed the booth was broken yet immediately they seated another couple in the same booth it kind of left me with a funny taste in my mouth. The decor is cute too bad they didn't put that attention to detail into the food. At best it was mediocre. The fried ravioli was quite dry and over cooked. Seeing as it was an Italian restaurant I ordered the Italian sub and was stupefied to find mayonnaise on it. For me, if ruined what would have been a decent Italian sandwich ( you would get run out of a deli in Boston for requesting mayonnaise on an Italian.) I would possibly come in for a glass of wine and the shared plate but I'd skip a full dinner here the attention to detail just isn't there. The cocktails were nice but the beer menu was not current. The attention to detail is just lacking.
Did the double date night with some friends, one of which grew up in this area and remembers it from his childhood. Now, as I understand, this place was around for a very long time, but the owners retired. It closed, but has since been reopened by the owners daughter, did some renovation, but kept the recipes. The atmosphere is quite nice and gives a rustic feel, but is also open and inviting. There is a really nice outdoor eating area as well. Be forewarned, parking is a bit of a challenge as this is a busy area with other eateries and retail establishments. I had the gnocchi with Alfredo sauce. The flavor was really good and the gnocchi itself was perfectly cooked. It had a bite and wasn’t mushy at all. My better half ordered the the beef raviolis which he enjoyed every bit of. My buddy got his favorite shells and shrimp, which (according to him), is so good he gets it every time. His wife ordered a margarita pizza and enjoyed it as well… but I didn’t get to try it as I was devouring my own gnocchi. Lastly, you can add a salad to your entree (I didn’t as I can only eat small portions), but I had to add a photo because they are pretty good sized salads and are loaded with goodies. Overall, we’ll be back to this place and I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good Italian place!

Nice patio, an extensive menu, and friendly service. Salad was ok, but nothing special as they use cheap greens. Eggplant parm was hot and tasty. Salmon was dry and overcooked. Would go back, but would opt for pasta next time.
I have to update my review, unfortunately. I'm short on time juggling lunch between appointments. Called ahead to place an order to eat there. They said they could only do that for to go orders. I said, "Just put it on a plate instead of in a box." She said, let me ask, waited on hold for 2 minutes and then she hung up on me. Management needs to have a talk with lazy, rude staff. Lost my business forever.
100% on all counts. The only bad thing I have to say is that a lady came into the restaurant with her little dog and they didn't ask her to leave the dog outside in the car or ask her to sit on the patio under the heaters. I LOVE dogs, but inside a restaurant is not the place for them. They lost a star for that.
My boyfriend and I went to Pasquale’s for the first time tonight. We had tried to get to the restaurant for a while but in the past weeks no one answered the phones or the one time we did get through, they told us they had no more tables available. Tonight we arrive at the restaurant at 8:15 PM, 45 minutes before closing at 9 PM. We waited several minutes before a host acknowledged us. She said there were no tables available except for the bar, and I told her we would wait. She then said there was a communication error and that she could seat us at a booth indoors. We sat down and took a look at the menu. I was disappointed with the menu as it was just pasta and pizza, with a few antipasto dishes, a salad and minestrone soup. There were no traditional poultry Italian dishes such as chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, etc. There were no vegetables or gluten free options on the menu as well, which was disappointing. We ordered two small minestrone soups and decided to split the beef raviolis. The minestrone soup came out hot and was decent, but definitely was not homemade. Then our raviolis came out, but as we took our first bit we realized we were given the mushroom raviolis and not the beef that we had ordered. The waiter was kind and brought out the beef ones and let us keep the mushroom ones as well. However, both raviolis were very mediocre - it tasted like store bought raviolis that you boil, and the tomato sauce tasted like any jar of tomato sauce that you would get from a grocery store. Also, the ‘beef’ was mushy and didn’t really taste like real beef; there wasn’t much protein at all in the raviolis. Also, the garlic bread was just average. For the $26 price tag, I expected more! I went to Tre Pazzi last night downtown and had delicious homemade raviolis. There, raviolis range from about $15-19 and taste so much better! Overall, this place has a great atmosphere and cool interior with the exposed brick. It’s in a great location in Auburn’s old town area. However, the restaurant has a long way to go with the service, menu, and quality of food. They are charging gourmet prices for low quality food that is not homemade.

In my opinion, shrimp pasta should be completely different. I absolutely did not like this restaurant. The prices are extremely high. We ordered pasta with cheese from the kids’ menu, but they brought tasteless spaghetti with two slices of cheese. Terrible, to say the least. The pizza had a strange aftertaste, and the dough was very unusual.

My husband ordered the Pasta carbonara. It was terrible. The waitress said the kitchen was experimenting with the recipe. Wow! Kitchen should have had staff taste for feedback before sending out as edible. It was left untouched on table with no refund.. rude of waitress. We shared my lasagna which flavor was just ok, definitely not worth the price when a store bought frozen tastes better. Bummer, we were so excited because we loved the old Pasquale's on 49.
