My friends and I went to dos salsas yesterday and Javier was our server! He did an amazing job at being attentive & despite it being his first days it seemed that he’s been working here forever! Loved the service will definitely come back and ask for Javier.
Great experience at Dos Salsas! The food was good and full of flavor, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Everything came out fresh and timely. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for good food and great service!
Santiago at the bar was the definition of hospitality! He welcomed us when we were a little early, took special time and attention to provide excellent recommendations and make sure he got our order right, and just was a genuinely nice guy. The food was great, but the service was spectacular! We’ll definitely be visiting this dos salsas location again.
Realized I’ve never reviewed this restaurant after having come here for YEARS and loving the experience I have every single time I come. My 3 friends and I enjoy the ceviche, the tamales, the quesadillas, the enchiladas, the flaquites, the stuffed pechuga and a bunch more. That isn’t even mentioning their drinks which are also fantastic — never had a bad drink here! Tonight we had particularly fantastic service from Javi(or Xavi?) which was what prompted me to check to see if I had reviewed Dos Salsas yet. The entirety of their wait staff is efficient, professional, patient and kind. We always feel so welcome when we visit here, and I can look around the restaurant and see that the other patrons feel the same way. That takes a lot of work to maintain and it’s worth a shout out by itself! The location seems to be very well-managed, with several different people checking on us throughout the night. I would recommend Dos Salsas to anyone, no matter your age or walk of life I bet you’ll figure out how to have a good time here. They even do events like karaoke! Go to Dos Salsas!
I recently visited Dos Salsas in Austin, and I have to say, it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming — the kind of place that immediately puts you in a good mood. We were lucky to have Adolfo as our server, and he made the entire experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive without hovering, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made excellent recommendations. You can tell he really cares about his guests having a great dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the fajitas — easily some of the best I’ve had in Austin. They came out sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender, juicy meat and fresh grilled vegetables. The flavor was incredible — smoky, savory, and just the right amount of spice. The tortillas were soft and warm, and the toppings (guacamole, pico, sour cream, and cheese) were fresh and generous. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it was clear everything was made with care. The portions were also impressive — definitely enough to share or to take home leftovers for later. I also loved their salsa bar; both salsas had great flavor and complemented the fajitas perfectly. Between the delicious food and Adolfo’s top-notch service, Dos Salsas has officially become one of my go-to spots for Tex-Mex in Austin. If you’re in the area and craving authentic, flavorful fajitas, you absolutely have to try this place. And if you get Adolfo as your server, you’re in for an even better experience — he’s awesome!
Food was verry tasty. Atmosphere is nice. They have decorated for Halloween and makes the place even better around this time. Our server was verry attentive with the service. Yari Yari Yari stopped by to check on food and service she offered us a churros dessert and will definitely be coming back.
I places a catering order fpr my office just up the street. The online form was easy to use and the team was communicative amd provided great options. Pickup was smooth. The food was great and the portions were huge. Everyone was happy and went home with plenty of leftovers. Will definitely use again.
Stopped here to celebrate my cousins bday. Wr didnt stay to eat. But, my sister & I sat at the bar for a cocktail, chips & salsa. Whoever the bar tender was she made us a delicious margarita🍸 on the rocks. The salsa and chips were so good. We stayed long enough to see the food my family ordered and it looked sooo good !!! They give you alot of food, too! Next time we go to Austin ,TX we will be back to this place for sure!
This place was such a surprise. I was just driving past and saw it. I'm so happy that I did. The drinks are so good and worth it. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere is very nice and the food. Really, you all should try this place when you're in Austin,tx. Y'all, the utensils were even clean. I didn't have to get lemons to clean. Wow. I'll be back again.... The bartender in the photo is the best...

WORST HORCHATA EVER!!!! Don't even try it, very disappointing. The dj does a terrible job at mixing the music, one minute you're hearing Vicente Fernandez, and then the next song is the YMCA. The food is okay. My green enchiladas weren't spicy. The rice has enough seasoning, but the fajitas were plain. Great service and lovely staff.
We are always in love of eating traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex food. This new location opened around late 2019, we have seen the grande building while driving by, and always see this place is packed up with customers waiting outside the building during rush hours. Since today is my wife's birthday, we decided to come here around 7 pm before the crowds pack up the restaurant. - The environment is really nice with tall ceiling, very nice decorations. - The service was great and dishes came out pretty fast. - The taste of food was at average level, which I would only come here for special occasions. - Price of food was bit higher than other Austin chains, but still at the acceptable price level.
We ate at Dos Salsas on a Sunday afternoon, and able to easily find a parking spot and be seated quickly. Our server, Criss, was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered the Tex Mex Combo and the Tres Leches cake. It was a generous amount of food and everything came out piping hot (the combo) and delicious.
The service is excellent, helpful, attentive, kind. They are amazing at hosting large parties. The food is average but the ambience and service make this a great place to try.
Great atmosphere. Service at lunch was quick. Dos Salsas platter was excellent. Had 2 cheese enchiladas (added queso) with beef taco and guacamole.

Horrible service and mediocre food. seafood dish was great according to my hubs but the tex mex was bland and the worst part was the service.

Ordered from this restaurant over Grub Hub and wish I hadn't. The food is extremely disappointing. I ordered shrimp tacos and all they gave me was the side dishes (vegetables and rice) in extremely flimsy styrofoam packaging. There were no tacos except for the extra a la carte chicken taco I luckily had added on. How do you leave out the main part of the meal? They gave me root beer instead of the Diet Pepsi I ordered, and extremely disappointing chicken tortilla soup. They also just threw my Caesar salad into another styrofoam tray and it went all over the place. Do not order from this restaurant, there's better Mexican restaurants in Austin. It just seems like they didn't care in the way they left out the tacos, gave me the wrong drink and the poor way they packaged things.
I would definitely not recommend. We made reservations a week ahead of time but upon receiving they couldn't find and do we had to wait to be seated. The table we were sat wasn't enough for our entire party. I wish I had gotten the managers name because she seemed to be irritated that we wanted the same services as others. My sister ordered the fajita plate for 2 and got the fajitas but the left the tortillas which she had to wait 30 minutes for. It was an experience that I would not want anyone to experience so just don't do it.
The food was okay, house margarita was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I was surprised by how expensive the drinks were, and I found your gratuity policy for larger parties a bit concerning. For groups of six or more, I understand that a 25% gratuity is automatically added. However, if we choose to split the check, each person is then charged a separate 20% gratuity on their portion, and the receipt still prompts for an additional tip. This feels excessive, as gratuity is already meant to serve as a tip for the service.
Review Title: No Salsa – Full Disappointment in a Grand Setting Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Review: We walked in with high hopes because the building is grand and the space is beautiful — you’d think the food would match that vibe. Unfortunately, it was a total letdown. The tacos, enchiladas, rice, beans, and even the tortilla soup were bland and flavorless. The food just didn’t live up to the impressive setting. The salsas were the biggest disappointment. We got three different kinds and not one of them had any spice or real flavor. It was like dipping into watered-down tomato sauce. Honestly, the place should be called No Salsa. When a Mexican restaurant can’t get the salsa right, it sets the tone for everything else. In the end, the lovely space is just a wasted opportunity. The staff was friendly, but that can’t make up for food this disappointing. We left having to plan another birthday lunch somewhere else to make up for it. Honestly, I have no idea how they stay open. Not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
