I get the happy family, the brown sauce is delicious and the portions are large. The crab rangoons are really good (especially when you dip them in the brown sauce) This will be my go to chinese place from now on!

Oh my goodness... By far one of the best places I have experienced... Food is so fresh & plentiful portions.. I have no complaints what so ever.. the individual working the front gave my husband great service as well which is always a + for us.. will definitely be going back. Thank you for our experience.

Everything was very flavorful except the tso chicken. However the texture was on point. Slight crunch with the chicken trimmed really well! Other than that, bang for buck! Delivery was quick and the driver was very nice! Definitely top 10 in the area!

MID. Lo mein decent but on the sweeter side. I ordered a side of chili oil and it was also sweet, not spicy. Egg rolls not my fave. Wonton was ok too but also nothing impressive, didn’t care for the murky broth. Food was hot for delivery, I’ll give them that. Won’t return. Rather try somewhere else.

TLDR: pretty average take out Asian food. For the food I had the sesame chicken and fried rice. For what I paid, the portion was massive, which is nice. The fried rice was pretty standard. Nothing amazing, but solid. The chicken was absolutely drowning in sauce, and the sauce itself was pretty overly sweet. It would be nicer to have a better sauce and have less of it. I’m not sure if they give everyone a free egg roll, or mine was a mistake, but I did get an egg roll. It was pretty good. Nothing to really complain about service. Took about ten minutes to get my takeout order. Overall, not a bad option for a quick lunch takeout.

It’s ok I’m from the Midwest so it’s the closest thing I can get to home, but it’s WAY OVER PRICED!! It seems like they tend too not have the lunch menu working purposely during the lunch rush to over charge you when placing orders online. You get vegetable egg rolls during lunch. I like the sub soup option. I firmly believe to pay $1.25 for a can soda is a bit outrageous. 3 stars for fast service the food will be hot an ready when you arrive. FYI they only deliver in a 6 mile radius so I was told. Good for Carry-Out

I can tell you a story, but I won't tell a lie. The food at Egg Roll Express is great. The portions and the taste for the price are a hit. Recently though, I ordered delivery and had the worst experience with the service. I order from them all the time, so when my rice came in a smaller container, I was surprised. I called the store along with the delivery service to work out the issue. The lady that answered the phone took no accountability and she even accused me of raising my voice and using profanity. I am so glad that I had the witness of my family and the delivery service on the phone. I know it won't make much difference if I never ate there again. Perhaps this was a one time thing. Thing is, I don't want to give this business the opportunity again to cheat me out of my money and then make me out to be irate or obscene ever again.

I ordered from Egg Roll Express on Parmer in Austin recently and had a mixed experience. The delivery guy, Edgar with Favor, was awesome. Despite hitting some traffic and arriving later than expected, our food was still surprisingly warm. The shrimp egg rolls were great as usual, but the real disappointment came with the fried rice. It was tasty until I discovered pieces of eggshell in it. That was quite off-putting, and it left me feeling unsatisfied. I hope they pay more attention to food quality in the future because finding eggshells in your meal can be a real turn-off. Despite the hiccup with the fried rice, I appreciate Edgar's excellent delivery service. Hopefully, Egg Roll Express can improve their food quality, as I'd like to get what I paid for and continue to be a customer.

I ordered orange chicken and steamed rice from this place. The orange chicken was soggy, there was no flavor of orange other than the 3 slices of literally burnt orange peels and surprise surprise, I go a discarded shrimp tail in my second bite. In the photo you’ll see the shrimp tail, the orange peels and the chicken piece I couldn’t chew. I almost never leave reviews this bad, but this one I had to share.

The woman that took my order was terrible. She tried to rush me, and was on the phone with customer service. It was very tacky, and then you had a worker in the back peeling pees with his bare hands.

Ordered for the first time today, they are close to us. Didn’t notice a difference in the food compared to Panda Express, which is meh at best... they sent us with sesame shrimp and sesame chicken and it was suppose to be 2 orders of sesame chicken, ok a mistake on their part.... but the wonton soup (lid pictured) had a dead fly floating in it.... when it comes to food, it’s a visual thing for me, what I don’t see oh well I guess. For a first time visit and to have to make a second trip just to complain, I was refunded my money for the food that was returned but not offered anything else for the inconvenience... which should be standard I think (I’m a small biz owner as well). Anyhow, just check your order before you leave, and if you don’t mind eating bugs.... this might be the palace for you!
