Really cool and trendy coffee bar with a smile! The coffee is just right - not too weak and not really sweet creamers, just good bold coffee. Great place to chill and start the morning.

I just love how good their coffee is!! Hot or iced, the taste and the art has been solid and consistent every time I went. This one is tucked in the SXSW building near the capitol. I like the other location as well. Besides the coffee itself, I would come here for quiet time of reading as there are a lot of spaces in the lobby area and not that busy in the early morning. Highly recommend!!

I love idlewild! Their coffee is smooth and they have ceremonial matcha. It’s a nice place to telework. They recently got new ceramics so if you have to to drink your coffee or matcha there, I recommend.

Love this spot. Super quiet and clean, great staff, excellent drinks, and they have real mugs and cups for the beverages. Spots near the capitol tend to be grab-and-go and disposable cups only, so I really appreciate having a place where I can sit and enjoy a few minutes alone with a drink and not be moving. They also host fun food pop-ups, which is a nice treat for the area.

Really good matcha. They whisk it and use good quality matcha. I got strawberry matcha with almond milk. (I usually don’t get flavored matcha because they are usually too sweet but I asked for just a little sweet and they did it perfectly! Matcha with a hint of strawberry). I also got the almond buckwheat cake and it is so delicious! The sxsw headquarters is also pretty cool

Thankful to have found this little coffee bar in the lobby of SxSW building. Just started working in this section of downtown and the coffee pickings are slim (and not very good). But then I saw a sign, and followed that coffee sign to Idlewild. I ordered the most basic thing on the menu “medium coffee w/ a splash of oat milk.” I know the coffee was great because when I got home from work, I bragged about how “I had a good cup of coffee, today.” The service was straightforward and warm, and the price was also fair. I look forward to trying more things here. I also heard the breakfast tacos are good.

Nice coffee place in the SXSW center lobby. Some good options to choose from. I went there because Austinite Passport and it was good. There is lot of street parking available near by. Nice place to concentrate and also to hangout with friends. Will retun here again.
