I had the jalapeno cheddar sausage and the spinach feta. These were one of the most delicious things I've had in Austin. They were packed full and very good size for the price. Warm and fresh ingredients flavorful dough. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!
One of the best kolaches I have ever had. They use bbq meats for filling instead of the usual sausage/ham etc. I had the pull pork and Monterrey jack cheese, brisket and the pork belly burnt ends w/ jalapeños (wkend special). They were all awesome, pull pork was actually the best surprisingly. The are $5 each and contains a decent amount meat. Very satisfied, we def come back and recommend for anyone tired of the standard kolaches. I hope they make some sweet options soon.
First I must lay out that I don't even like kolaches. Hopefully that adds more oomph to how genuine my five stars are. Dough - I have never had a kolache that didn't have too much bread. Enter - Kerlache. What a genius idea to keep the housing thin so that you can enjoy the filling! I mean, I had to take all the photos to brag about the perfect thinness of the outer dough shell. And pat on the back to them for perfecting the recipe to where it's not too thin to break easily but thin enough that the dish is not overwhelmed with bread. Very impressed. Brisket + Cheddar - I have to say I was hesitant to order this one. Only because I'm not a big fan of BBQ. Before you gasp and ask if I'm a real Texan... I like BBQ but has to be when I crave it and in small portions and then I'm good for a looong while. So back to the filling..... This one was my favorite. The meat was juicy not too greasy. And top it off - mixed with may favorite food group - cheese! Tres Leches Cinnamon Roll - a MUST get. It will speak for itself. Not too bready...just perfect! Portion sizes (to me) are huge. Enough to get a few and share or get one and feel fully satisfied. Going to have to say job well done on perfecting this one :)
I ordered the brisket and cheddar kolache ($5.95) which comes with barbecue sauce. The dough is super soft, and it’s filled with a generous amount of delicious brisket. The barbecue sauce is a bit too vinegary for my taste but you don’t need the sauce to enjoy this kolache. Since they do sell out, I recommend calling before going to make sure they still have what you’re looking for. I loved that it’s part of a food truck park, so you can explore other food options as well. They have nice outdoor seating and we were able to find street parking pretty easily.
Absolutely incredible! The brisket and cheddar kolache was smoky, tender, and paired perfectly with the slightly sweet dough and tangy BBQ sauce—just a perfect bite every time. The sausage, jalapeño, and cheddar kolache was equally amazing: spicy, cheesy, and super satisfying. You can really taste the quality in every ingredient, and it’s clear these aren’t your average kolaches. Friendly service, great flavors, and a must-try if you’re in Austin. Get there early—these things sell out for a reason! Instagram: eatwithjarco
Food: Pretty good kolaches. Our favorite was the Brisket + Cheddar and Sausage Jalapeño + Cheddar. Service and Ambiance: We went on a Saturday morning, and the food truck park was crowded, but there was no line. Our order came out right away. It was a nice, chill place to be. It was dog-friendly, there was plenty of outdoor seating, and free street parking.
What an amazing kolache!!! They’re $5.95 a piece and worth every penny. They are absolutely stuffed with filling to the point that I actually wanted more bread, which is the total opposite to the normal kolache experience. This place only takes card, no cash, so be prepared for that. Overall a great spot for a quick breakfast.
Kerlaches here were top notch! Ordered brisket and cheese and the pork and cheese. Accidentally received spinach and feta, surprisingly (to meat eater brain) it was really flavorful and seasoned well!
Picked one up from Dame Cafe and it was delicious. Savory and sweet at the same time, even my girlfriend who doesn’t like cheese loved it.
Been wanting to try these for awhile after seeing them on instagram. I called in my order and I walked right up and got it. These were great, will definitely bring having them again. Adding two of the best things together, brisket and kolaches. BBQ sauce pretty vinegar-y, but I just used bbq sauce I had at home.
Boom! The proverbial kolache mike drop. Tried the jalapeño cheese sausage and the brisket cheese kolache. Both are amazing, serious meat content with the sausage easily weighing in at more than 1/4 pound and the brisket the same size as a burger….wow! So tasty!
I ordered one of each and I was not disappointed. I personally loved the brisket and sausage kerlache the most but, the pork shoulder was good as well. The dough was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Each filling was very flavourful. I'd love to come back here again.
Went Saturday morning to get these delicious BBQ Kolaches. These are indeed top tier. The brisket is delicious and the bread exterior so doughy and fluffy. Bbq sauce is homemade and delicious. The service from the person in the truck was super helpful friendly and quick
Soooo amazing. Followed them on instagram for a while and finally got to visit….expectations were high and fully met if not exceeded. The flavor of the dough of the kolache and the flavor of the meet inside; just perfection. So well done. The good version of “updating” food. Highly recommend

Genuinely one of the best things I have ever eaten. First time trying Kolaches in general, went brisket and cheddar. Will be back as often as possible.

Ball of satisfaction. All cravings are fullfilled. Snack, dinner, dessert, burger, taco, brisket. All you could want in a gormet homemade tasting hot pocket.
Very solid kolaches - if a bit expensive. $7 each seems pretty steep to me, but they were quite good. I would say the biggest plus of this truck is that it is probably the fastest service in the whole food truck park. Considering Desnudo's long lines and Veracruz's long waits getting the kolache in 30 seconds was impressive. The second biggest plus is the portion size. If you get two and split with a friend you can try two different kinds and still feel pretty satisfied
If I remember correctly, my kerlache was $7. I got the brisket and cheddar one and it was tasty, definitely get the bbq sauce to go along with it.

Got a brisket cheese and a sausage. Must be a trendy spot for the reviews are good but the food not so much. Brisket had a somewhat sour smell and didn't taste good. The sausage was good but it was kinda cold.
Interesting concept, got brisket and cheddar. The dough was sweet which was interesting but was not cooked all the way through. On the inside of the bun, some of the dough was still raw. Also a little pricy.

I wanted to really like this place but the bbq sauce is watery which makes it tough with kolaches. Also, the sausage in the kolaches were severely dryer than expected. I think lonestar and even the private equity owned Shirley’s is better. Also, this place is severely overpriced.
blah. I have had 3 different kolaches from this place. Of them the only one worth much was the sage sausage and egg. The sausage jalepeno was a sausage link that was tough and their brisket was bland and dry. definitely not worth $7 per kolache
