Cold draft beer and fun light Italian wines to start the night. Food was great, and the special 5 dollar take a classic is AMAZING! You can have any of 6 plates, my favorite Fettuccine Alfredo with salad. Its a really good deal and a welcome gift for those who may not be able to come out. It's my favorite place. Whenever I'm really hungry, I come here. Their Tuscan soup is amazing. The bread is my favorite. I always order my Alfredo pasta with crispy chicken.

My partner and I had a very good experience. We started with an appetizer of mozzarella which before had usually been long and round this time they were rectangular and flat we enjoyed the much better. He got his usual Alfredo and I tried the chicken parmesan. I typically get eggplant Parmesan but wanted to try something different. We also ended up getting dessert he got tuxedo cake and I got tiramisu. All in all the food was great and it was a great atmosphere.

Excellent experience overall! The phone ordering service is great, example being Tary, very prompt, professional, knowledgeable of all food menu options, friendly, caring, positive, going the extra mile to customize my selections patiently (even after me making changes to the order right after the first call). The restaurant staff, example MJ, is similar, welcoming and helpful. The food quality is great. I strongly recommend this place.

Best Olive Garden experience in four decades! The food came out quickly and it was all hot and delicious. Our server, Gloria(?), was like a non-intrusive Energizer Bunny. She was always at our table within moments of us needing something. We asked for the manager to commend the staff. It was experiences like this that won us over and that used to be the hallmark of Olive Garden. The floor under our table needed to be vacuumed. Other than that...Fantastic!!

Thank you Alan and Brooklyn, for taking care of our group of 15 teenagers! You guys were prompt and attentive without any negative vibes. Refills of salad, soups, breadsticks, and drinks truly did not end. Such a great experience for our athletes. Thanks again for your patience and positive attitude 🙂

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Been several years since I was at this location or an Olive Garden in general. Food portions are much larger and food rivaled most Italian restaurants in the area. It was a party of 5 and we had approximately 8 dishes. All were great. Obviously, this isn't a fancy traditional Italian restaurant. But, our expectations were exceeded. Appetizers were fantastic and our meals were spot on. Everyone mentioned how good this was and definitely recommend.

This used to be my favorite restaurant. The last couple times I came here, it was not good. It was horrible. The service and the food were terrible. That was is in march for my birthday. So today we decided that we’d give it one last time before I wrote off this place forever. What a change. The food was great. The service was a 100! Seeing great teamwork. We haven't been here in a long time so while we were out and about and hungry, decided to try it out again. We got the calamari as a starter. He got tea and I got their itialian margarita, and man that was Good! Then I got salad and my husband got chicken and dumplings soup. For the entree i got the ravioli with itialian sausage, and my husband chicken Alfredo. Everything was awesome! Our server was attentive, and friendly.

The standout feature of our visit was the exceptional service—our waitress Hailey ⭐️was outstanding, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. It’s not often you find such excellent service, and it definitely made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was, of course, delicious as always, but it was the top-notch care we received that really made this visit memorable. I haven’t been to Olive Garden in a while, but after this experience, I’ll definitely be back soon!

Olive Garden out here in Texas is miles better than any I had ever been to in California. A consistent chain, with very large portions and low prices. It's not a Michelin restaurant and the price reflects that, but the food is pretty good, their service is fast, and it won't break the bank if you're bringing your kids. Definitely a family favourite for many for good reason. I tried all of the soups and the potato kale with summer sausage was the best by far, a soup that has no business being in a chain, highly recommend it.

It’s an Olive Garden. That’s pretty much the basics of it. The building is definitely old and the space hasn’t been renovated in quite some time. The host / waiting area is incredibly dark. The photo doesn’t do it justice since the camera is artificially brightening to photo. The food is what you would expect from Olive Garden. It’s not going to blow you away but it’s consistent so you know what you’re getting. The service is typically pretty good at this location. Wait staff are friendly and thoughtful.

Had a great meal with the parents, only a few areas to comment on...out server was very attentive, BUT please encourage them NOT to reach across seated guests faces to drop-off or pick-up. Could be an issue for spills or the customers who find that ill-mannered. Also...clean the menu's please. Overall, the food was served quickly and was hot, and actually had left overs to enjoy for lunch later.

The hostess seated a party before us eventhough we were there first, the rest of the time was fine. Our server, Franklin, did a great job taking care of us. He was truly hustling.

First time trying Olive Garden as an Italian. I heard a lot of bad things about how it isn’t real Italian food and I shouldn’t try it. After all, it is not bad at all if you think of it as Italian American food. The quantities are large, the flavours are OK for the most part. The service was great! They give you free salad and breadsticks. I tried the Tour of Italy and the Alfredo sauce fettucini were not bad. For $20 a large dish, this will get you fixed for one and a half meals. If you are looking for some comfort food, this place will do. But if you’re looking for some authentic Italian food, this place can’t be that.

I'm a regular here and liked my experience the last time I visited. I tried a new dish(I'm not able to recollect the name, my bad) it is good if you don't want a very creamy, heavy dish. It has chicken, mushroom and spinach on mushroom sauce. The chicken was beautifully cooked, super soft and tender, felt like butter. I absolutely loved my dish. However, the ziti al forno, ordered by my friend, felt a little bland. She did not find it flavourful. The tour of Italy is always a good pick where you get a little of everything. Since Èntre comes with soup/salad, I got a chicken Gnocchi soup, and I enjoyed it after adding a dash of pepper. I ordered Tiramisu for dessert, which was good but not wow! Overall, happy :)

As far as Italian food restaurant chains go, it was more than just adequate. Service was excellent if not close to too much. Will visit again.

It's olive garden. I couldn't give a 2, cuz to me that sends like they did something wrong, but def not a 4 or 5. Over all price was a huge factor in that 3star. $111 for 4 meals with tip No alcohol and nothing fancy or extra outside of broccoli on my plate. So wut tha heck?! I tried their limited time Bucatini pasta. I can only describe it as a straw of pasta. Its literally a tube, no noticeable difference in taste.

Food was great and server was very nice. Been a couple of times and the wait time from order to table is still pretty slow. Hopefully they can staff up a bit, but otherwise its a great place!

Haven't gone to an olive garden in years but decided to go since I had some gift cards from the holidays. The waiter was good, attentive and nice. The only complaint I have was that the noodles were very dry and seemed old. Definitely didn't have enough sauce to mask the crunchy edges of the fettuccine.

Was born & raised in South Europe / Mediterranean, so it’s a little hard for me to give top score to a franchise 🤷🏻‍♂️ but it’s one of our favorite spots with my son right after school or before soccer training. Staff is really caring and atmosphere is pleasant. Plenty of parking all around. My only wish weekdays happy hours wouldn’t end at 3pm. We always are 15 mins late even if we tried hard. Just make it end 30 mins later 😅

Went to this location the other night to celebrate a birthday dinner. We had to wait over a hour as I think the hostess girl didn’t take our name down properly as I remember her saying she was having problems entering the name into the que. Once seated our server and service was great. My entree was great. My partners not so much. He ordered the lasagna and it was extremely salty. Had to send back and order something else.

I used to enjoy Olive Garden back in the day. Lackluster service and food led me to not frequenting them anymore. This week I decided to give them another shot, during lunch hour on a work day. I did the lunch special - unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. I really enjoyed the Chicken/Gnocchi soup. However the Zappa Tuscana soup was just ok and so was the salad and breadsticks. Nothing remarkable. I would give the food and service a solid 3. Atmosphere would get 2 points (this particular location looks old and dingy). For ~ $15 (which doesn’t get you much these days), it was a decent experience and would do lunch here again.

Lets just say I was on edge to give this place a zero star, however turns out our server GLORIA was absolutely amazing, friendly and kind who also recommended the Tropical Martine (lets just say this it was delicious) I understand, my wife and I could have gone anywhere we wanted too, however it had been a long time since we had been to OG, and we normally would have gone to the one up North off Burnet Rd. When arrived to the South Lamar Location we walked in, (I) was told give me a moment by a male (dont know who this was) he looked as if he was important who knows. About 1 minute later two young woman show up to the host desk, a couple and a few more were asked "how many, and name?" I looked at my wife and was like "Well the male that was just here did not ask me that" we waited patiently; one of the host look up, and asked us had we been help?, I stated that a male was up here and told me and my wife, he'd be right back he was going to go look and see what was available, but he hasn't returned. The girl said okay, as the other young girl returned my wife stepped up, and asked "Were we supposed to sign in, because the male that was just here did not ask my wife anything? Just told her, let him go see what he had available. Both young women looked at one another, apologized, asked for our name and how many. We did tell them. I was ready to really leave because not only had this man go MIA, but people who had arrived after us had been getting seated, and we where still waiting. (I know we could have left, but my wife really wanted to stay for the soup) So I decided we will wait and see how our services was. I can honestly say, I felt this male did not feel comfortable because we are two woman and did not want to see this, and hid from our eyes. Lets just say Gloria, she was a great spirited individual, very kind spoke very nicely and even made recommendation for me. Gloria's attentiveness was absolutely amazing. I eat at an Olive Garden Restaurant on average about once a month. I would say in the past year I have found the food and service to be very good. On this occasion I ordered food to go for my wife and I. I ordered a chicken scampi dish and a grilled salmon dish to go. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. When I got home my wife found the chicken scampi to be very dried up. The spaghetti had no sauce and chicken pieces were especially small. The salmon I ordered was extremely dry because it was very very very over cooked. We have eaten these dishes many times, the dishes today were a big disappointment. I will avoid Olive Garden food to go in the future. The staff was generally friendly and the atmosphere was good.

Obviously not authentic....we know that. But could be served with more love and care. Came in on a busy day, and I get that it's stressful. But sauce is just not IT. Definitely not worth unlimited....kuddos to servers in this environment.

I’ve visited this restaurant many times and always had a great experience — but today was completely different. Just because we’re Latino and don’t speak perfect English, one of the servers, named Constantine, treated us with clear disrespect and provided terrible service. He even made comments to his coworkers about us, assuming we wouldn’t understand because they were speaking in English. That is completely unacceptable. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of their race, language, religion, or sexual orientation. I just wanted to enjoy a peaceful lunch with my husband, but instead we were treated in a humiliating and disappointing way. Very sad to see this kind of discrimination still happening today in this restaurant!

Exceptional Service, but Major Failures in Hygiene and Food Quality: ​I want to start by praising the staff. From the host to my server, the service was a 10/10. Even the manager remained professional and objective while handling my complaints. However, as someone with 8 years of experience in the food industry, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of basic standards at this location. ​Cleanliness & Atmosphere: I believe i heard the host state my table was(307), which was poorly maintained. I found food splattered on the wall and dried sauce on the tabletop that required effort to scrape off—a clear sign that neither the closing nor opening shifts are performing proper "table touches" or inspections. There was also a persistent, stale odor coming from the carpet, suggesting a long-term lapse in deep cleaning. ​Food Quality: The kitchen seems to be prioritizing speed over quality. ​Appetizers: Fried calamari , Mozzarella sticks. Arrived in under 5 minutes, indicating they were batch-cooked and sitting under a heat lamp rather than dropped to order. ​The Salad: There was a distinct taste of spoilage. The onions were over-pungent and the lettuce lacked in crispness, suggesting old product was mixed with new. ​The Bread: Stale and likely reheated from an earlier batch. ​Entrees: The "Tour of Italy" featured a dry, burnt chicken cutlet and cold lasagna. The new Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini was the biggest letdown; the shrimp had a strong "fishy" and earthy aftertaste, and the steak lacked any sear or grilled flavor. ​Final Verdict: It is unacceptable to serve diminished-quality food at a $20+ price point. While the staff is doing their best when it comes to creating a warm welcoming experience, management has clearly become comfortable with the "bare minimum." After 10 years of visiting Olive Garden locations across the country, this was my worst experience. In a city like Austin with so many great Italian options, this location has lost its competitive edge. I won’t be returning.

Upon arriving to the restaurant we were being seated the floor was dirty hadn't been vacuumed there was food on the floor paper remnants of the paper from the straw yet when we walked in everybody was standing behind the the hostess table. Place should be clean upon opening.

Came to dinner with a friend. We were sat in a very un-busy section of the restaurant away from the majority of the guests. We started with the unlimited dipping sauce, I ate way too many breadsticks 😂 this was the best part of the meal though. We both got Italian margaritas which said they have tequila in them, but I think it false- it tasted like straight sweet and sour mix. I got the potato soup, don’t remember the name, it was really good after it cooled down from being ridiculously hot. The tour of italy has been my go to at OG for over 10 years and this was one of my worst ones I’ve ever got. The plate was super hot and by the looks of it had sat under a heat lamp for way too long. The noodles were dry and cheese from the lasagna had basically became a part of the plate. Service also wasn’t great, I suspect because we were sat in an empty section so the waitress would forget about us. Lucky for them sometimes I like mediocre “Italian” food and they’re the only Olive Garden in Austin.

Horrible I went to pick up a Togo order. My order was ready and I texted the number on the sign when I got there. An employee came out to my car first and asked if I was going to “tip” before bringing out my food. I told him no. He then turned around. With an attitude and went to retrieve my food. I was worried my food would be tampered with. I called and talked to a manager. Which the manager told me that they ask for tips. That it’s apart of the process. Never have I had that happen to me. And I’ve ordered here before. Tipping is optional. You should request or ask for it. It rude and comes off as begging. Plus it was A TOGO ORDER. On top of that, I’m not good with technology. I called before hand to place an order they told me to do it online. I told them I struggle with that. They refused and told me it only online. So Again WHY WOULD I TIP? I received no customer service!

I couldn’t even stay to eat — the smell inside was unbearable. I don’t understand how anyone can eat there with how strong and unpleasant it is. Honestly, it seems like it should be a health code concern. I walked right out.

Hadnt been to an OG in almost 10 years but I dont remember being this bad. I got microwave chicken with soggy "breading" on dollar store noodles. Imagine paying $22 for a meal at an Applebees and you pretty much get the gist of it. Oh and the service was bad too

Terrible experience! The Hispanic hostess was extremely rude. She told us to wait 5 minutes. We waited 10, and in those 10 minutes we saw she sat other 2 tables, one with 5 people and one with 3 people (we were a party of 3). I asked her why she hadn't sat us down and she said she was still clearing some tables with a very upset face. She has a bad attitude and bad manners. Needless to say we will not be coming back. They lost our business.

The server was Zandrea h. She was a little too weird for me and she kept on checking up on us too much. And then at the very end she kind of made it awkward with the whole tip thing. You could tell she was like really expecting it. I felt really uncomfortable. And the food could have been a little bit more warm. So no I didn't have a good time. Apparently the general manager at the time was yenitt Flynn. I know I was going to complain in person at the time because of embarrassment you know. I mean what could they have done right. I didn't have a enjoyable time.

My to-go order was a mess. Soup spilled everywhere, the bag was soaked through, containers leaking, and no one even bothered to wipe or repackage it. Completely careless and disgusting. This is how you treat your customers?! Rather take my money elsewhere. Not to mention the soda was flat and watered down, and the food was trash — a complete waste.

Sat for 20 minutes never came to take our order worst olive garden experience. Even told the manager she took our drink order and never arrived. Was not even busy to make it make sense.

Went to use the bathroom there and both toilets were filled all the way to the top with human waste about to flow over. This is on a Saturday night when the place should be ready for alot of customers !!! Management here is obviously more concerned with making money at the registers!!

Recently ate here. Service bad, one refill on tea, no refill on salad or breads ticks. Was asked about refill on my all eat pasta after I finished dish 20 mnutes later. Food very good too bad service was bad. Why offer all can eat with slow bad service. Maybe Sunday afternoon at 2 pm not good time. Very sad

i asked to be sat at a booth but was instead sat at a table meant for a party of 4 when we were a party of two and my view was a exit sign, we were told there were no abalone booths but there were 3+ open booths directly across from us being served by our same waitress that remained open the entire time we were there.

I placed a large catering order August 26th and no one will give me a copy of the receipt. Delivery person did not give the receipt to the person who accepted delivery. I have lost count of how many times I have called, been put on hold for longer than 5 minutes only to be told either a manager would be sending the receipt or they were too busy. I will never order from you again. I still need my receipt so I guess I will have to come down to your location to get a copy. Customer service no longer exists.

Today I made a takeaway order, I ordered an Italy tour and when I got home to eat my dish I found several small hairs, just check your food well, I attach a photo, there were some because the other hairs were among the pasta, 🤮 Disgusting

I ordered a black tie mousse cake to go. What is this? I wanted chocolate. I was craving this for days. Yall suck.

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a nice lady that told us our wait time. The problems started happening when the host that led us to our table forgot our utensils. We tried to tell him but he didn’t stay around enough to hear our concerns. Service was mediocre, as soon as we a waiter came and took our order, she gave us the wrong drinks, forgot to give us utensils as well, and forgot to give us our bread. She never checked up on our table after giving us our food and we didn’t receive refills unless we called her attention and asked for them. My soup, Chicken and Gnocchi, didn’t have CHICKEN or GNOCCHI in it. There were waiters that were out of dress code, wearing stripped polos. To put it simply, I was heavily disappointed.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience Despite Great Food I recently visited Olive Garden and ordered the Tour of Italy, which was absolutely delicious as always. The food never disappoints here - it’s consistently flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the service this time completely overshadowed the meal. When we walked in, we were greeted by Vivian, who had a really bad attitude. She acted like she didn’t want to be there at all, and her friend Crystal, who was standing right beside her, had the same negative energy. It honestly made me want to turn around and leave before even being seated. Our waiter Jacob was just okay - polite enough, but he never came back to check on us after serving our food. We didn’t get any drink refills, which was disappointing. I still left a tip, even though I felt his service didn’t meet expectations. I really like this location and usually enjoy coming here, but this visit was a letdown.and also the restroom was a mess. It feels like some of the staff have gotten too comfortable and are letting their attitudes show. Hopefully management addresses this, because it’s a shame to see great food brought down by poor service.

If You're Latino, Think Twice Before Coming Here Brought my mom here because she’s visiting and I wanted to give her a nice dining experience — something special and memorable. Unfortunately, what we ended up with was the complete opposite. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an uncomfortable experience at this restaurant, but this time it was especially upsetting because my mom clearly noticed everything. From the moment we arrived, there was a noticeable lack of inclusion and professionalism. We could hear comments and whispers coming from the area where the kitchen orders are sent. It was obvious the remarks were about us, and the embarrassment I felt when my mom realized it was truly disappointing. Our server, Constantin, was particularly unwelcoming. His attitude felt cold, dismissive, and at no point did we feel greeted or valued as customers. I never expect special treatment — just basic respect and courtesy, something any restaurant should provide. What makes this worse is that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened here. I had brushed it off before, thinking it might have just been an off day. But after experiencing this again, especially in front of my mom, I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever return. When people go out to eat, they are looking to enjoy a moment together — to share good food, good conversation, and positive memories. Not to feel judged, stared at, or talked about. I really hope management addresses these behaviors, because no business can expect to keep loyal customers while allowing this kind of treatment.
