The bacon egg and cheese burger paired with the sweet potato waffle fries was the best thing I’ve eaten all week. The Mac and cheese with the goldfish cracker crust was absolutely to die for as well. So so so good

The Hop Shoppe is a cool environment. The walls have featured artist, and several murals throughout the establishment. The front area is a bar and seating area where waitresses will take your order. The food is fantastic and the cocktails and beer selection are the best on Staten Island. Throughout the week there are promotions, Karaoke, game nights and open mics as well as Djs on the weekend with a great nightlife. If you are looking for a Brooklyn feel without leaving Staten island The Hop Shoppe had done this is the best possible way.

The food was really very good! Great music, got a little loud by the bar but that's how you know everyone is having a great time! After eating took a trip down memory lane for the birthday boy to get some game time in lol! Definitely would come back again, great atmosphere!

Just came for dessert and beers. It didn’t disappoint but we also weren’t looking for much. It was packed but not overly crowded. Live band music wasn’t the greatest. But great selections of IPA’S and other beers.

Went here just to check out something in Staten Island. Bartenders were great (granted it wasn't that busy, not sure what it's like when it gets busy.) There are many arcade games to play, and I'm disappointed that my party didn't get to play games, but next time. Decent selection of beers on tap (i think ~20). It's bar/diner food. We got a few different things, the tacos, bacon cheese tots, mac & cheese with chicken (we were a little disappointed in that) and a few other things...it was all pretty alright. We had some beers, and cocktails off the menu with an added twist. The other guests there were nice and we all had some random conversations. If/when I go back, I'm definitely going to check out the games...

I can't rate the food because I didn't order any while I was there. It's the dopest, quintessential neighborhood bar that every town should have. I loved the action figures on the draft tops. There was a cool action movie playing. The drinks were yummy. The bartenders were kind and chill. Their bar regulars came across friendly. There a lot of board games behind the bar and I saw an arcade game. I would definitely go back.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants in Staten Island. They have custom beer, classic cocktails, they have delicious foods too. Burgers are so delicious. There are so many foods item that you can choose. View is inside restaurant very unique to. They have karaoke nights, so many fun events going on. Try this place you will be enjoy. Hospitality is very good. Good service. Everyone who working this place very helpful. Thank you guys keep it up.. I’ll come again.

Cool place for drinks burgers and shakes. Although the shake wasn't to my liking, the general T'so was good. Music with a screen where you can change the station, arcades in the back to relieve your childhood memories. There are a few Vegetarian options which is great.

I'm so torn with this review. During COVID-19 I ordered religiously from this place every order was over $100 tried everything on the menu. Decided one night to go in and have a " sit-down" dinner. I have to say it was more " wannabe hipster" vibe vs a "gritty " Gastropub. The food was confusing. The cocktails were eh. Very unimpressed to say the least. However!!! The live entertainment was legit! Would go back just for the musical talent! They also tried to rectify the cocktail, but it just doesn't right when you have to basically make it yourself.

Don't let the outside fool you inside the place is fully refurbished and is a fun barcade like style. Come during Brunch hour 12-3 unlimited mimosas,bloody Marys, sangria , coffee , soda for $20. Brunch menu also Is relatively cheap under $15 for a meal. Lots to choose from the Drink menu. There are several different options for food. the avocado toast was a whole avocado on top of toast with vinaigrette. It was satisfactory. The BLT was also ok the bread was a little tough to eat with the not crispy bacon. The Burger was good and had a hop shop stamp of approval on top. They also have a brunch menu and regular menu. The only downfall are the games some of them did not work and some only took quarters versus tokens. The skee ball is by the bar the rest of the games are in the back in its own room. Most of the games are joy stick, pinball style. Definitely a good friends night out on a budget for brunch. Check them out support local businesses! .
