We were looking for somewhere unique to have lunch so we drove from Rome to have lunch here. It did not disappoint. I had the French Dip Panini and homemade chips. It was fabulous. Highly recommend.
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. I highly recommend calling ahead for a reservation as we did. We were sat right away while others were waiting 30 minutes plus. Our server, sierra, was very attentive and friendly. We made great menu recommendations and beer selections. We shared the onion dip which went fast! Delicious. We both had pasta dishes with were out of this world. My wife is a vegetarian and had not trouble finding multiple selections on the menu. We will be back!
We visited The Angry Garlic on Saturday around noon for Valentine’s Day. They had a very large group with a reservation, so it was busy, but we were still able to get seated at a high-top fairly quickly, which we appreciated. We started with the Angry Garlic Bites — they came out quickly and were delicious, especially with the garlic aioli on the side for dipping. The sauce really elevated the flavor. I ordered The AG Burger, which was cooked perfectly, and the fries were fresh with a generous portion. Others in our party ordered the catfish tacos and the French Dip Panini. The tacos were very filling and flavorful, and the French Dip had tender, well-seasoned meat. Both sandwiches came with homemade kettle chips that were crispy and well done. Overall, the flavors across the table were consistently good. Service was attentive and friendly. The timing from ordering to appetizer to entrées was spot on — nothing felt rushed, and nothing took too long. The atmosphere has a nice small-town downtown feel, and the restaurant was clean. I’m not local, so just a heads up that parking is on the street — be prepared to find a spot. We would absolutely recommend this place and will return when we’re in the area again.
Live singer was great! Atmosphere was great! Not too busy, valentines day dinner (2026) was incredible! The drinks were delicious! Service was incredible! Owner brought us our food and gave us some back story to it. It's tasty and worth every penny!! We spilt a bunch of the appetizers between 4 of us, it was filling and the best experience! Chad is an amazing server! So much energy! Our first time here but definitely not the last!! Had a reservation, got there early and got seated straight away!
Came here to rave about Ciara because she was absolutely amazing. As someone who’s been working in the industry for a handful of years, you hit every point! You welcomed us in the moment we walked in the door and guided us through the menu and experience with ease. And food was also delish and timely 😋 highly recommend
Food and service are unmatched. Everyone will find something and will like what they get. Burgers are some of the best in 'Cuse. Staff are great, very attentive. Swing by its delicious, but fair warning it gets BUSY. Get there at open on a Saturday for lunch if you want the best food experience.
My friend recommended this place when we went to Syracuse, and it did not disappoint. I love this place, and I definitely wanna go again. Great beer selection, and the food is fantastic. If you like good garlic food, this is the place for you. I wanted to try all the things, but we got the cheesy garlic dip and garlic bread to start, which I highly recommend. I got one of their specials, which was garlic, parm cheese, and Dijon mustard on linguine with grilled chicken. It was so good! The staff was super friendly and very attentive, and the decor and artwork of their logo is great. I can't wait to go again!
My friend and I went here on Friday and let me tell you what, their dining week menu did not disappoint!! We split the steak and the shrimp alfredo, and for appetizers, we got crap dip and garlic bites. And then it comes with a little sweet treat, which was a brownie or tiramisu, and we got both and split it. So for 3 courses it was 35!! It is such a great deal if you are in the mood for trying a bit of everything!! The staff is so friendly and made sure everything tasted good, and we never even had to ask for a refill they just came and filled our waters, which I really appreciate!!
Came in at noon for lunch with a group of four and were seated right away. Service was quick! We loved everything we got except for the artichoke hearts app but I think we just don’t like artichokes. Our favorite appetizers are the Garlic Cheese Dip and Garlic Bites. Portions of our meals were big. Since we had shared some apps we ended up taking at least half of the meals home for later!
Our first trip to AG did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top notch. We had the Riggies (angry style), Risotto and the Angry burger (with "over the top" sauce). Fairly loud atmosphere so not the best place if you're looking for quiet and intimate but amazing food and service. Can't wait to come back again!
So the restaurant is VERY small and seems cramped due to the limited space, but they make the most of the area with properly spaced tables and putting them at angles to allow a bit more seating than parallel slots and there is adequate seating at the full-service bar, so even if there isn’t an available table you can still sit at the bar and order from the entire menu. We were seated extremely promptly despite the restaurant being packed at 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, but that was also due to serious luck that there wasn’t any reservations ahead of us and a table got up right as the hostess was telling us it was going to be a little bit of a wait. Our server, Jessica, came over immediately after we were seated with waters and to introduce herself. Jessica was fantastic the entire night, extremely pleasant to talk to and very engaging about the menu and just fun to be around. There aren’t enough servers in the world like her, to be honest. We started off initially with the Garlic Cheese Dip appetizer. The dip had a great flavor, but it could have been a touch hotter and crispier bread for our preferences. We still ate the entire thing and loved it, but if it was hot, it would have been perfection in a dish instead of the kinda hot dip we got. No complaints from either of us in the end. We were going to order our entrées when Chelsea realized they had PB&J wings available and, despite not being a chicken wing person, really wanted to give those a shot because of how ridiculous of a concept peanut butter and jelly wings are. So we ordered those at the same time as our entrées and they actually came out before, which was nice. I’m genuinely angry at those chicken wings. They were PERFECTLY crispy and moist throughout. Honestly the best cook on a chicken wing I have experienced when dining out. The sauce was very weird, purely because you expect savory or spicy when eating chicken wings, and instead we were greeted by warm, sticky house-made grape jelly sauce and peanut butter drizzled wings. The flavors were wild and it was genuinely tasty. For an entrée, Chelsea got their Chicken Salad Wrap. The flavor was mild on the garlic mayo, which was nice to not get absolutely rocked with an overwhelming aioli like some recipes make. Overall, it was a relatively simple chicken wrap but still very good and something she would order again. The house-fried potato chips that come with all sandwich items by default were also delicious with a really nice salty, peppery, garlicy flavor and wonderful crunch. My entrée was the Cat Fish Tacos. Now, I’m PICKY with cat fish overall, but I have been spoiled by eating authentic southern fried catfish in Alabama. This cat fish was a solid contender for top 5 cat fish I have ever had, fourth only to the Irondale Cafe in Birmingham, Alabama, my own and Southern Fare in Oswego, New York. Perfect crunch, perfect cook, perfect flaky texture. 10/10 execution on the cat fish. Now you go and add all of the accoutrements and you have an absolutely beautiful plate. I got weak in the knees at the first bite of the cat fish and the roasted corn salsa gave a nice, cool, sweet flavor to go along with the crunch of the romaine and mild heat from the garlic chipotle cream. Once again, perfectly crunchy and seasoned house chips came as the default side. Overall, we had a great meal and wonderful night out at Angry Garlic. Parking is a pain due to the lack of a parking lot in the heart of Baldwinsville, so plan ahead. A reservation during busier times is a good idea to try and alleviate any wait time you may have before being seated as there isn’t ANY room inside the door to wait without blocking the entrance/exit, but there is a set of benches in the back dining area to wait at if they aren’t already taken. Staff all around were extremely pleasant, with Jessica being a major standout. Modern, trendy decor and beer/cocktail selections and delightful food all based around various ways to eat garlic. 10/10, we will absolutely be back for further meals and to try more of the menu.
Had been to lunch with my family on valentines day, our server was so friendly took good care of us the entire time. We enjoyed the wings they were finger licking good, we had the Bee's burger and cat fish tacos they were delicious and so fresh. Definitely recommend this place to everyone if you are near by syracuse and Baldwinsville area. Ambience was good too. All in all great experience!!
My husband and I went last night for restaurant week and we had an amazing time. Our waitress Sierra was awesome, incredibly nice and attentive, we really couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was all delicious, well seasoned and proportioned for the 3 course dining week special and everything tasted amazing. For a place that emphasizes garlic in their dishes, nothing was overpowering, it was all very well balanced. We really had no complaints with our experience. They even accidentally poured us 2 of the same beer and instead of keeping it or wasting it, they gave it to us for free along with the one we ordered (now this probably doesn’t happen often but we gladly accepted the mistake :)). I would highly recommend, especially the chicken and chokes!
Stopped here for a late lunch and it was awesome! They do have a kids menu. Our daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. I got the spicy chicken Caesar wrap with fries and my husband got a salad that he said was very good. Everything was delicious. Our server was great and brought refills on drinks without asking and our food came out quickly. Would highly recommend coming here.
Really really good food. The Garlic Parmesan wings were standout. The Angry Garlic Bites were little bombs of delicious. Shackboro Burger was very good and a bit messy but worth every stain on my shirt. upgraded the side to the Loaded Garlic Fried. Worth it. Grilled Pesto Caprese was a great combo of ingredients the roll was a soft chewy delight. The house kettle chips were good. Service was perfect on a busy Saturday afternoon.
This place is listed in top burgers of Syracuse so we came for that. The menu has interesting burger combinations but maybe too much over the top? What about just a regular cheese burger? Burger was salty and ok but def not a “top” Syracuse hamburger. Parking was terrible as it’s a downtown main st so good luck with that. Food was average. Service was attentive. Just a typical community bar.
Great atmosphere. We sat at a hightop, which is always fun. Our server was engaged, interested and attentive. We had the linguini and clams, which was bland but they gladly retossed it to add more flavor, and the blackened chicken and sun-dried tomato Alfredo. That was excellent. Lots of garlic on both dishes. For dessert, we had the lemon cake with mascarpone cheese. The cake was the hit of the evening. Absolutely outstanding. Would recommend for a fun evening.
I was recommended to come here to eat and happy I did! The restaurant was busy on a Thursday night and very lively. Our server was also the bartender and she did a great job with how busy it was. We both got burgers and quite throughly enjoyed them. The patties and thick, juicy, and flavourful. The fries were fresh and crispy with a great garlic flavour. If you’re looking for the lighter fare, I highly recommend the garden salad with their citrus ginger dressing!
Went to Angry Garlic last night for the first time. They were busy and we had about a 45 minute wait. We sat in the bar area in the meantime. Once we go to our table the waitress Darcy was very friendly and attentive, as well as the hostess Tammy. We forgot to take pictures of our apps which AMAZING especially the garlic artichoke Naan. The Meatball app was also quite good. For mains we got the angry riggies which were fantastic. It was hot enough but not too spicy. Friend got the Doc Jonas with chicken and loved it. I got the stuff and turf which was good flavor wise and cooked properly. Unfortunately, the steak was incredibly tough and fatty. I know sirloin isn't the most tender or lean but it was chewy and tough to get through. Otherwise, overall it was good and I'd definitely be back as a massive garlic lover.
Angry Garlic in Baldwinsville seated us quickly on a Sunday afternoon and we had a nice, cooler table by the front window. Unfortunately the calamari lunch special was a letdown. It wasn’t just missing tentacles, the flavor was flat and had an off taste, like the seasoning and freshness just weren’t there. Service was also awkward. I was out with my girlfriend and treating her to a nice afternoon. The server repeatedly served and addressed me first every round, which isn’t a huge deal by itself, but it changes the tone of a date when the guest is basically ignored. Then when I asked for the bill, it was handed directly to my girlfriend instead of to me or placed in the middle. That felt untrained and uncomfortable. Overall: ok experience, but food and service both need improvement.
Came here as we were furniture shopping nearby and wanted to give back to a local establishment. This is a casual dine in. We were asked if we had reservations. I said no do I need them ?? They said no and sat us by the front door and we were pretty chilly. We ordered drinks which took what seemed to be a long time and neither was correct. We ordered our food -uncomplicated, wings (which were tasty!) salad one order and Tuscan chicken for the other. They came at separate times. My husband's order was served partially cold (potatoes and rice) and we were at the restaurant for an hour and 20 minutes. Maybe they are short staffed. Not sure. The waitress offered to take something off the bill but that was unnecessary. We just will not dine here again.
