I really enjoy the food served here and at such great prices and such a nice and friendly environment I can't say enough about this place just go and check it out for yourself you will enjoy every bit.

Very delicious. During the journey sometimes I really miss Chinese foods. The fried rice here tastes just like what we have in Taiwan. Maybe even better.

Friendly service and great fresh food! We stopped here while on a road trip from Southern to Northern California, and it was a perfect lunch-time stop for Chinese food (for us - fried tofu with great stir-fried Chinese veggies.). I highly recommend this place in downtown Barlow.

My wife and I go there quite often. We love it because it's a small Hometown friendly feel. Not real fancy but exceptionally good Chinese and American food for a very reasonable price. I always recommend it to anybody I see. Been family owned for 45 some years.

Very kind and funny owners! He had fun banter with me and food was great! This isn’t the fanciest place but don’t let that fool you! I had bbq pork, fried shrimp, egg rolls and chicken fried rice! Everything was delicious.

The guy was nice realistic a lil rude at times but other than that great. The club sandwich was really good the first one to hit the spot in a long time and it came with no cheese which I hate on a club it was seriously a nice old fashioned blt I have been looking for . My husband got the ham fried rice and pork fried chowmein. Which both smelled amazing and it came with fri d shrimps that looked awesome and smelled perfect. My only issue was they didn't have salads but I can work with that overall food is great cheap price would go back to the other items

The man is so generous person, he lets this authentic old lady to sit in the cafe when it’s too hot outside. You can have very authentic experience here, The food is great, i tried fried tofu with veggies and rice and i loved it!

Well, the food was pretty good, seasoning on some stuff was really salty but still pretty good and some of the plates were bland, (that's why the salt and pepper is on the table) however the food tasted good. Edward I think his name was is a fun guy in a good way and very entertaining would recommend and go again.

The wife and I both had the double hamburger with cheese and French fries. Edward is always very nice and sweet, the other staff are very nice and sweet too. The price is always fair. Highly recommend it to established Barstowians or visitors to our city. 10/10! The atomosphere is very pleasant.

A hidden gem in Barstow. I believe this place has been here for years and years. I visited it for the first time today. A nice little Cafe with extremely nice staff, they make you feel instantly welcomed. The food is delicious, the menu is simple and the price is perfect! I'd highly recommend that you eat here if you're in the area.

Clean and comfortable but nothing special inside but Stay for the Fo od!! Wonton soup was amazing. The broth was spectacular. Full of veggies and huge meaty wontons. Sweet and sour pork, delicious house made sauce not bottled. So good. Chow Mein had such great flavor but could have used more noodles.

The cubed steak was tender and the sauce that it was sautéed with was well balanced. This restaurant has been here for 40 years +, so they must be doing something right. They also have "American” menu options, lunch specials and a dinner family style menu.

I was worried we wouldn't have been able to pay due to a charge coming out my card in the middle of our experience, and when notifying the owner he was incredibly understanding and willing to see what he could do to help. We ended up having enough to pay, thank god for that, and the food was beautiful and delicious. Husband got the Orange chicken and rice and I got the pork ribs. Super filling and super yummy. Would 1000% recommend and will be back again!

Unexpectedly great Chinese food when you least expect it! We were driving from the Grand Canyon to back to LA. Having void of any Chinese food for a week, my can't-live-with-rice-for-a-day father was dying for some rice. When we passed by Barstow's Main Street, looking very much desolated, despite shown on the map as some sort of map street, my mom spotted some Chinese characters on their windows. Peeking from outside, there's not much hope, but were we pleasantly surprised! Given we are from Hong Kong and living in Vancouver now, we have had plenty of good Cantonese Cuisine and we know the so-so's to the good ones. This place is one of those places where they still do it OLD SCHOOL - properly! Bravo to the owners & the chef! The restaurant is still manned by kindly grandpa who's in his eighties but still bright and energetic! If ever given a chance, I will definitely visit again.

Small, intimate cafe with surprisingly good deals. The breakfast menu is simple, but not in a bad way. It makes the process easy and since the prices are quite the bargain it's easy to walk away full and satisfied. Now, on the dinner side the offer a variety of dishes but I've only had the Chinese family meals. If you still go to Canton for the restaurant style Chinese food and not the Panda Express (or Palace) type of fast food chinese food, then you need to give The Village a shot if you haven't recently. Staff is a little quirky which leaves a love it or not atmosphere, hence the 4 stars and not 5.

Loved our first visit (hopefully not our last). The food was bomb 💣n the service was great too...this place wz recommended to us....we were visiting from L.A. n went to dinner....the owners are very nice n the guy who waited on us treated us like regulars...if ever in Barstow stop by this place, you won't regret it!! Great food at a great price.👍

I went to this restaurant the other day. The portions were small for the money. The server was extremely rude. The food was moderately flavorful. There are places more deserving of your business in Barstow. I will not ever be returning.
