Nomad Lounge is a highly-rated oasis in Animal Kingdom, praised for its relaxing atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and tasty tapas. Guests rave about the beautiful setting and attentive service, making it a perfect escape from the park's hustle.
Tip: Arrive at opening (10:30 am) or join the walk-up list via the app to avoid long waits. Consider sitting on the patio for a more immersive experience.
My favorite place in Animal Kingdom! A great place to take a break with a drink and some food. They seriously have THE BEST churros on property and they are gluten free too. They also come with 2 sauces and the vanilla one is so creamy and dreamy. They have a full bar so ive gotten an off menu dirty martini before and it was delish! This time i got one on the menu but had them modify it from tequila to vodka, zero issues. If its nice i definitely recommend sitting outside with some nice people watching next to the water.
I only bought the churros. We went in and ordered at the counter. We waited nearby for them to be ready. They arrived in a cardboard box. The churros were warm, soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. They came in two little pots, one with cream and the other with condensed milk. A delicious dessert. It's worth trying.
Nomad Lounge – A Hidden Gem in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Nomad Lounge is tucked away at the base of the bridge to Pandora, and after days of overpriced and underwhelming park food, this place was a true treat. Connected to Tiffins (which shares a bar but offers different seating), Nomad Lounge stands out with its sweeping panoramic views of lush woodlands and a quaint river below—definitely worth the wait. We waited about 30 minutes for our table, so plan accordingly. Once seated, we started with the Tiffins Bread Service ($18), which was a fantastic appetizer. The trio of breads—each from a different region—paired beautifully with their accompanying sauces. The lineup included: Thai Red Curry Milk Bread – the closest to a conventional bread Pão de Queijo – dense and chewy Brazilian cheese bread Papadam – a light, crispy Indian-style chip These were served with a flavorful trio of dips: coconut curry sauce, guava sauce, and a ginger-pear chutney. All were delicious. For our mains, we ordered the Bangkok Crispy Chicken Wings ($16) with nuoc cham caramel, peanuts, and cilantro, and the Grilled Chicken Satay ($14) featuring curry-marinated chicken thighs with pickled green papaya and peanut sauce. My wife had been searching for the place she first tried this satay—and she finally found it! We dined outside on the wraparound porch, enjoying a chill soundtrack of world jazz and lounge music. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt like a peaceful oasis before diving back into the Disney chaos.
Unforgettable Experience at Nomad Lounge!" "My wife, son, and I dined at Nomad Lounge today and it was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was enchanting. The exotic cocktails were expertly crafted, and the food was simply divine. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The entire staff, from the bartenders to the support team, were all incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Honestly, it was the highlight of our week! 5 stars across the board - food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. Highly recommend!
Excellent drinks and food!! Highly recommend the Bangkok chicken wings and Cuba frita sliders!! The tempting tiger was superb!!
Great alternative to tiffins as they share the same drink menu and some of the appetizers. I like the laid back atmosphere and the room is setup with good spacing between the tables. The servers and team assisting when you arrive have always been nice. The extra appetizers at the nomad longue such as the Cuban Frita and churros are excellent and must tries. Also recommend the tempting tigress and Annapurna zing for drinks.
Great food! Party of 4 and we had the bread service, chicken satay, Cuban sliders with yucca fries and pineapple glazed pork belly. And the bar has a great drink and wine list. We had the lamu libation, tempting tigress and the Jenn’s Tattoo. Will definitely be back anytime we’re at Disney!
This might be my favorite place in Animal Kingdom. My husband and I had a very romantic time here cooling off, sharing desserts, and relaxing with a couple of drinks. Our server brought us out a bonus small dessert because we were celebrating! She was wonderful. As long as you make a reservation on the app, you don't have to wait hardly at all.
We lucked out in grabbing a space in the outdoor lounge. The setting is superb, so quiet and beautiful, surrounded by greenery and the water. Our server was cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed cocktails, the bread service and mushroom bao buns. Everything was delicious!
The Nomad Lounge is one of my favorite experiences in all of Disney World. The drinks are incredible, the food is top notch and the atmosphere is inspiring and enchanting. It’s designed for nomadic spirits, lovers of travel and exploration. It really resonated with me and I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend Jenn’s Tattoo… a fruity and sweet cocktail. Very good! Next time we go I’m going to try the churros!
I wish this secret oasis in the middle of Animal Kingdom craziness (in a good way) was more secret. Awesome indoor and outdoor space, great staff, delicious tapas (esp the wings), and amazing cocktails (the Lamu Libation is my fav). No reservations and the walk-up list (available via the app) is often an hour plus, but if you are friendly, the host will let you hang inside to wait on a couple of seats at the bar to open up (never waited more than 10 minutes). A must-do while visiting Animal Kingdom.
This place is so amazing. The vibe here is so relaxing it's easy to imagine yourself in a different country while chilling outside on the wrap around deck. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. We had the bacon and eggs, the birria tacos and the wings all washed down with several different drinks. Everything was served hot and had mouth watering flavour. I highly recommend trying this restaurant and don't believe what online says about being fully booked always walk up and ask about their actual availability. We almost missed an opportunity because online said they had no availability but they actually did.
If you can get a seat it's a nice place to take a break from the busy day. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outdoors you can see the character boats go by from time to time. Also, the gluten free churros are really good and the dipping sauces make them even better.
Bar-sectioned outdoor portion with seating of the restaurant Tiffins. This is at Animal Kingdom park. Very fun place to go near the end of the day for a coffee-press, bread service, and delicious churros. Typically not busy. It is relaxing and scenic and a nice way to break up the park day from the evening. :)
This place is surreal. The best place to chill, relax, have a drink, eat some food and catch some vibes while visiting Animal Kingdom. Every time I visit Animal Kingdom from now on will include a spot here. Make sure you come for opening at 10:30am so you don’t have to wait long and can get a good seat outside.
Nomad Lounge is by far my favorite dining spot at the FL Disney parks. The food (small plates) and drink (libations) are very creative and tasty. Moreover, the service is impeccable. Finally, the Lounge (outdoor seating) is positioned on the river so you get the occasional boat music entertainment from the Disney cast. As a local from Clermont, this is my go-to spot.
This lounge is located in the heart of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It had incredible atmosphere, food, and service! Our server, Dallas, was absolutely lovely. He attended our every need and had a great sense of humour! The lounge itself is located beside the river that flows through Animal Kingdom, and has beautiful chairs, couches and curtains (to block the harsh sun) on the outside patio we were seated at. You could easily imagine being somewhere in the jungle and it was nice to be in a quiet space in the park. I got their Smoked Pork Ribs, and they were divine! They came out piping hot, pull-apart tender, and the egg was poached perfectly. The egg yolk offered an extra layer of richness when you dipped the ribs in it, and the pickled radishes helped cut through the grease. A fantastic light dish all around! My fiancé got their Cuban Frita Sliders, which were also delicious. The fries they came with were perfectly seasoned and out of this world! For our drinks, he got the Tempting Tigress and absolutely loved it, especially the bourbon in it. I got the Balinese Breeze, which was a nonalcoholic version of one of the other drinks on the menu. It was so fruity and refreshing! I highly recommend stopping by the Nomad Lounge while you’re in Animal Kingdom. It will whisk you away to another country entirely, has delicious food, and has refreshing, tropical drinks.
Great place to chill at the bar while waiting on dinner reservations or just to get off your feet and enjoy an adult beverage. It's a beautiful space and the service is top notch. They do have a small bites menu that's accessible via qr code. Billy did a great job for us and the several small groups that came in to get drinks to go. It's a very nice high end lounge and definitely recommended.
The best place to grab a drink in Animal Kingdom, I suggest asking to sit on the patio, it is a great place to relax and you can catch the character boats floating by! My favorite drinks are, Jenn's Tattoo, it is light and refreshing and you can even eat the hibiscus on top. The Night Monkey is great, it is a unique combo of cilantro and coffee, I know it sounds weird but if you like both, trust the drink. And the Hightower Rocks is the best watermelon margarita in Disney! The food is also outstanding as they share a kitchen with Tiffins! If the Lobster Mac and Cheese is an option, order it, big chunks of lobster. And the churros are hands down the best churros in Disney World, they come with a vanilla and a strawberry dipping sauce. If you cant grab a spot, no worries, let the host know and you can order to go drinks at the bar, you even can order to go churros!
My party of 2 enjoyed a delightful lunch at Nomad Lounge on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. We approached the host podium and were seated immediately, very nice :-) Mary, our server, treated us with great dignity and respect. I had the Sapora Black Lager beer in the 22 Oz. can, and Dann had an Annandapur gin specialty drink. I had the Chili Dawg, Dann had the Beef Sliders; we both shared the Bread Service. All was EXCELLENT :-) It was Mary who made our day, though. Her thorough, attentive service, and attention to every detail--no matter how small--made us feel welcome and at home. As DVC Members, we've "seen it all," but this place.. this place is an absolute GEM hidden in the middle of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Don't miss out on an amazing experience--visit Nomad Lounge, next to Tiffins--on your next visit to DAK. Ask for Mary, and tell her Josh-n- Dann sent you :-) :-) :-)
This is one of the few places (Animal Kingdom) that I would go to even if it wasn’t in Disney. Outside seating overlooking the river where characters come by in boats is great for children and adults alike. The chicken wings are meaty and delicious but don’t eat the peppers if you can’t handle hot. The sliders and drinks are hood too. Great break from the hustle and bustle of Disney. There should be more restaurants like this in the other parks.
Perfect hideaway during a busy day at Animal Kingdom! Children are welcome as long as they're not at the bar, but it's a beautiful adult spot too with indoor and outdoor seating. The bartender is fantastic, the drinks are delicious, and the small bite snacks are out of this world. Can't wait to go back!
Absolutely loved Nomad Lounge. What a getaway full of phenomenal food and drinks. Best drinks on property bar none. The Tempting Tigress was well balanced and full of warming spices. The Boto-Rita was tart and crisp with a mild bite brought by the peppercorns. We would order both again. For bites, we got the bangkok chicken wings. They were delciously complex - sweet, umami, and a little heat. The texture of the wings was so crisp, and the peanuts take the texture over the top. Phenomenal. We also got the Cuban Frita Sliders. They were delicous, but not as special as the chicken wings. Would eat again. It is worth mentioning that this was the most difficult restaurant on property for us to find room for our service animal to join us. We worked things out, but it took some re-arranging and compromise. The team was very understanding.
First time visiting this lounge. Food and drinks were good. Staff was a bit overwhelmed but I’m glad I checked it out. Loved the vibe
We stopped on for appetizers just before closing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. All of our food was good. Surprisingly, they don't have regular unsweetened tea but instead have unsweetened passion fruit tea with vanilla. Sounded odd but tasted amazing. We will be sure to return soon!
One of my favorite places in the world. The ribs are delicious and maybe one of the best deals on Disney property! What can you get for $10 at any restaurant or bar around Disney? I love the specialty cocktails, but if you're a beer drinker you have to try Kungaloosh! Don't leave without ordering the churros. You can thank me later.
Outstanding. Exceptional service, fantastic food and very well balanced cocktails. Special kudos to Karina the bartender and Bill the manager. Karina had to fill easily 80 drink orders as we got there when it opened at 11am and every order went in at once. She was fun, friendly and filled orders like a boss. One of the best I've ever seen. Bill the manager had just concocted several new cocktails for the resort and we were the first to try as his test subjects. Cocktails were amazing, subtle and delicious. Bill is a master mixologist, a great guy and a huge asset to Disney's company. Its worth your while to stop by!
So we took a trip to Animal Kingdom, and we didn't make reservations to any of it's already limited selection of restaurants for dinner, so we didn't get in anywhere. After getting turned down at Tiffins, we settled for the Nomad Lounge, the bar area with first-come-first-serve seating that's attached right next to Tiffins. This place has so many different great seating options. At the bar, at the comfortable couches and chairs along the inside, in the comfortable patio chairs lining the outside, and even a giant table in the middle of the joint that looked like it could sit up to 12 people. The whole place was exploring/travelling/adventuring themed. Banners and script cover the ceiling of the place asking questions about your travels and providing answers in a really beautiful decor. In the menu, it even invites us to buy a little banner for $1 and write about our own travels. Awesome. The menu itself was Tiffins-ish. It was all small plates. Some of them you could find on the Tiffins appetizer menu, some were Nomad Lounge exclusives. This was our dinner, so we ordered three things. Asian Barbecue Chicken Wings (with Pickled Vegetables), Pork Ribs (Honey-glazed, Coriander-spiced), and Tiffins Bread Service (Pomegranate Olive Oil, Harissa Yogurt, Black-Eyed Pea Hummus, Zhough Yogurt). The chicken wings were pretty good. They weren't super crispy, but they weren't baked wings. They were interesting. I liked the sauce on them, though. It was barbecue with some Asian-y notes. Nothing in particular came to mind. They just tasted Asian. The plan worked, Nomad. Good wings. They were also served with some pickled dicon on the side. The menu just says vegetables, so it appears to be subject to change. The Pork Ribs were the star of the show for me. They were so well cooked. You could tell that after the main cook was done, they were cut and crisped up in a skillet on all sides so there could be a nice crispy surface on all four sides of each rib. Wow. I'm not sure if I've seen that before. It was so great. This was a five star dish for me. It came with charred lime you could squirt on the ribs, but I saw no effect from doing this. It didn't enhance anything. Finally, the bread service was super fun. There were three kinds of bread, a crunchy one that was basically a chip, one that was honestly a combination of naan and a pita for me, and one that was dense and cornbread-y but with some sweet notes in its smell. All were good. I never saw any pomegranate olive oil, but the other advertised sauces were very good. A tangy yogurt, a nice, smooth hummus, and a not-too-spicy salsa that wasn't on the menu. Very good. Overall, I loved the theme of this whole place. Travel and exploration is very near and dear to my heart. The service was good. We were never waiting for anything even though the whole place filled up in our time there. The food was the bomb. This place really struck me, and I can give this place five stars with no problem. I will be back.
Lovely atmosphere especially when sitting outside with a view of the river. Churros are unforgettable (you won’t regret it) and dishes actually feel worth the price and the experience. We had the pork belly with a perfect egg, the bread appetizers, and a cocktail. Honestly one of the highlights of the day!
Perfect place to get away from the crowd at Animal Kingdom for a bit, and enjoy some drinks and appetizers. The service is always excellent, the drink menu is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful, both inside and outside. The outside deck is especially nice, as it is covered and sits right on the Discovery River. Nomad Lounge does not take reservations, so be sure to get yourself on the walk-up list as soon as possible, as the list will fill up on busy days at the park.
I love going to Nomad Lounge!! The open air patio is beautiful and comfortable seating area. All of their appetizers like sliders, bread service (on par with Sanaa's bread service) , poutine, and the cauliflower are Fabulous. The non/alcoholic drinks are also great and very inventive. It is a great place to stop and air conditioned during your visit to DAK. They don’t rush you and the service is amazing! Highly recommend!! It's always peaceful and a hidden gem as everyone passes by to either Pandora - The World Of Avatar or Tiffin's next door. Amazing Amazing -
Visit Nomad Lounge whenever we are in need of relaxation and escape from the crowd and noise at Animal Kingdom. Went today to celebrate our anniversary. Not many dessert options on Nomad Lounge menu. Waiter Kevin took care of us.l by asking Tiffins for a dessert option...chocolate mouse for two. Thank you for making our afternoon so special!
Our favorite spot at Animal Kingdom to eat - we always get the churros and they have tons of great non-alcoholic drink options (highly recommend the Balinese Breeze). We stop here every trip and are always satisfied. Definitely recommend sitting outside as the views can't be beat and it stays pretty cool (shaded).
Wow! Just wow. What a beautiful and unique dining experience. We sat outside and saw five Disney floats go by. Kids saw Goofy and Donald while we sampled various global cuisines. We had mushroom bao buns, sliders with yucca fries, one of the best charcuterie boards with meats and cheeses, and a bread basket with various dipping sauces (curry aioli, peach chutney, etc). The service was great and the view from the outdoor seating was lovely. Felt so far away. Magical!
A visit here is always a 5 star experience, in my opinion. We enjoyed our drinks, and I LOVED the food I ordered. The corn and butternut soup was on the list of specials - but if it is available do not miss it! It was so flavorful and unique! We also really enjoyed the Brazilian Cheese Bread appetizer! Would absolutely order both again.
Even though this place is pricey and it's not ready to always find a reservation for the time you are looking for, each visit here has been amazing. The bread service and the churros are a must and we get them everytime. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are trying to save money visiting Disney with your family, but if you are trying to have a relaxed day at animal kingdom and manage to find a spot here, check it. out. Sorry I don't have any good pictures of the food as I remembered to review this place after I ate everything ;)
Nice little place, their specialty cocktails are actually made with good top-shelf spirits (Casa Dragones tequila, Russell's Reserve bourbon, Ketel One, etc.). They also have fun mockails for kids. They only have small plates for food, but everything was delicious. Definitely a great place if you're not super hungry or just need a break and a nice cocktail.
This was our first visit to the Nomad Lounge, but it certainly won't be our last. The staff was welcoming, and the bartenders were amazing. The drinks were great, but the ribs and chicken wings should be entrees instead of appetizers. They were absolutely delicious! And, don't get me started on the churro with vanilla dipping sauce for dessert. I am not usually a fan of churros, but this experience has made me appreciate what churros can be. The Nomad Lounge is truly a hidden gem, with seating inside, as well as covered seating outside.
A hidden jewel inside Animal Kingdowm where you can sit on the patio and enjoy cocktails and small bites while relaxing from the crowds. We had excellent service and nice drinks while the kids sat around and took a break from the busy day. The Churros with the coffee chocolate sauce! 😍
This is the best lounge on property bar none! If you are vegan vegetarian you must try the Falafel, it is the best Falafel in property. Note you can order anything off of the Tiffin's menu as well. The bread service is great and probably the 2nd best at WDW. If you are like me and love a good beer you must, I mean must check out the Kongaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale. It'a so Good!
Did you know that you can get drinks to go? That's right, you do not have to be seated to get a drink. You can order at a special counter and take your drink out into the park. I love the Dawa Bar back in Africa, but Nomad Lounge is going to be my new favorite location. Billy prepared our drinks with style. And had us on our way to the next attraction in no time. The atmosphere of the bar area was cool and relaxing. I loved the covered outdoor seating on the wide veranda.
Got in just as it opened and sat by the bar. We really enjoyed the charcuterie plate and the chicken wings with some really well made cocktails. We watched the bartender mix cocktail after cocktail. It was quite a show. Nice place to spend an hour!
We had our first visit to Nomads Lounge this week and we will go back for sure. The atmosphere and lounging chairs and couches were just what we needed for a break. We ordered the Honey-Chili Glazed Pork Belly, the Charcuterie board, Churros, and the just added to the menu…Wings! The Churros and Wings are a must order!! The churros were crispy on the outside and so light and fluffy inside. Absolutely the best I’ve ever had! The wings were cooked perfectly…crispy outside, tender inside and the flavor was well thought out and unique. The chef (?) came out to ask what we thought since they had just added them to the menu the day before and explained how they made them. So glad we ordered them. Drinks…I ordered the Hightower Rocks and a Hibiscus watermelon drink that I can’t remember the name of. My husband had a scotch and loved they had a full, well stocked bar. Couldn’t find a thing wrong so getting a 5 star review 🤩
What a hidden gem in the busy Animal Kingdom. An oasis where you can relax, sit and enjoy the food, wine and friendly server Trey! We had a bottle of lovely Malbec, a poke bowl with tuna, the ribs, the cauliflower and the churros. Wow the best of all and what a great value. We were impressed! Trey was our best server in World Disney Resort. He is so friendly and authentic. You should go to this lounge!
Inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom but feels like you are a world away! I cannot say enough great things about Nomad lounge! We took a break from exploring the park and escaped into the wonderful embrace of Nomad Lounge to rest, eat, toast, and celebrate my sister’s birthday before we were off on more adventures. We had amazing drinks with the freshest ingredients, yes they were adult beverages! The tiffins lobster Mac and cheese and the Cuban frita sliders which were a special but are now on the menu. Everything was delicious!! They even surprised my sister with a frozen cheesecake I believe for dessert for her birthday. What made the experience ever better was the service! Our server/cast member could not have been better! He was fantastic! We now make Nomad Lounge part of our visit if they have space every visit to Animal Kingdom.
We sat out on the patio of Nomads on a day that was 94 degrees. And it was cool and relaxing. I wasn't even hot. The breeze and fans helped a lot. Our server Kevin was great. We traveled a loooong way to get my daughter some gluten free churros and they did not disappoint! The drinks were also great. My wife said the cauliflower here is one of the best food items on Disney property. Thank you to server Nate and general manager Tania!
Nomad Lounge has a gluten free kitchen separate from Tiffin's. They were careful and mindful of our allergy needs. The food was remarkable. We went with 2 picky adults used to fine dining, a 13 year old person with celiac, an 11 year old and a 7 year old and it was every one's favorite dining experience out of all the parks. Lots of gluten free options. The churros were wonderful, the coffee was good, the entrees were perfect and the space was relaxed. I will certainly be back. We went back the same day in fact, for more gluten free churros. Highly recommend.
Ever write one of those reviews, that after you are done, you are worried that if this intimate, magical lounge, gets too popular that you won't be able to get in next time, or it will get too uppity that their "new" swanky culture and vibe......suck. Well, I'm willing to take that risk, because without a doubt this lounge and adjoining restaurant should be on anybody's "Must Do" list if they want to enjoy a very cool environment, with an amazing history and backstory, combined with a stellar staff, a bartender who belongs in the barkeep hall of fame and a menu that perfectly matches the environment. Well in advance recommendations highly encouraged and you will not regret it. I know that we didn't and it seemed like everybody else around us were equally enjoying the experience. I apologize for not capturing the name of our server, because she was beyond incredible. Seriously, by the time we were half way through our time in the bar, we were hoping she was going to be off duty soon and could join us. She was the icing on the cake that really put our whole experience over the top.
The Nomad Lounge was the perfect relaxing retreat on a super warm February day. George provided great service and was helpful with drink and menu selections. The Tempting Tigress was bourbon, juice, and flavor. My grilled shrimp were cooked to perfection and had a tasty ginger-tamari glaze.
We LOVE Nomad. It's a great place to relax and take a break from the rest of the park. Disney's Character Cavalcades on the water look amazing when you're eating great snacks and sipping down ice-cold drinks in the cool shade of the relaxed atmosphere of the lounge! My wife wanted to get a good view of the water for her birthday and didn't mind waiting a little longer for it. I asked them to include that in the notes, and we got a text within about an hour for the best table overlooking the water. 10/10 highly recommend. Like everything Disney, go with a plan. Since it's walk-up, plan to get there, give your name and number, and receive a text when your table is ready if you're trying to eat outside. That is, unless you're waiting when they open.
absolutely loved this place for a nice drink and appetizer in the middle middle of our park day. The architecture is gorgeous, and I recommend sitting on the patio as it completely transports you to another world. I was in a party of two and we shared a couple drinks as well as the Tiffins bread service. It came with three different breads and three different spreads that you could mix and match and it was delicious. The menu included small plates, all of appeal to different food pallets.
We joined the walk up list at Nomad Lounge once in the park, waited 15 minutes, and then got a text that our table was ready. The lounge is a very relaxed environment. Comfy chairs, flowy curtains, and soothing music. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures.... There is inside and outside seating. There are restrooms. We will definitely eat here again!
Very festive, atmospheric and relaxing. We had a drink here, and then ate at Tiffin, which is connected. The Moroccan bread service was good, and my snow leopard vodka drink was tasty. My husband had the beer flight, and all 3 beers were very good. Excellent service, and one of the best spots to relax in all of Disney World. The cocktails are very good and cost around $16. I definitely recommend Nomad Lounge.
Not many people know about this place, but this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Animal Kingdom! This is a bar-like restaurant where you get drinks & small plates from Latin America, Africa, and Asia. This restaurant is attached to Tiffins, so you’ll get similar food here! There’s a cozy atmosphere in this place, as there’s quotes from people traveling. The seats are comfortable, and our waiter was friendly & attentive. The actual food here is outstanding! My Kiama Mamma had great presentation, and has a good watermelon flavor in it. The wings were spicy & high quality, and the bread service, especially the Brazilian cheese bread, was a good addition to our meal. The Cuban frita sliders weren’t that exciting, but the spices on the sliders and the yuca fries tasted well. Overall, would recommend trying to join the waitlist! This is much better than most restaurants in Animal Kingdom.
This is a really great, lesser known spot in Animal Kingdom. You can join the wait-list via the Disney app while being nearby in the park. It's a lovely lounge that is like an escape from the crowds. The food here is from the same kitchen as Tiffins, which is a wonderful restaurant. Small bites, fun cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
Everything was on point for me when we visited Animal Kingdom. I am soooooo exhausted and angry with all the standard procedures that consist around processed foods, candy, sugars, dyes and more. If I go on vacation I want something new, unique, special. Having a Starbucks having a sugary soda, having packaged processed snacks, having a low quality sugary ice cream is so cliche and annoying. Why do need it every place every corner and why not other options of choices is it really that difficult to have Whole Foods, sprouts, farmers market quality foods and snacks available? Anyways that’s why I love this restaurant because it’s different, it’s unique, it’s special and that made it worth it. The quality of food was top notch and service was super.
If you can get a seat it's a nice place to take a break from the busy day. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outdoors you can see the character boats go by from time to time. Also, the gluten free churros are really good and the dipping sauces make them even better.

We almost missed an opportunity because online said they had no availability but they actually did.
Got in just as it opened and sat by the bar. We really enjoyed the charcuterie plate and the chicken wings with some really well made cocktails. We watched the bartender mix cocktail after cocktail. It was quite a show. Nice place to spend an hour!
absolutely loved this place for a nice drink and appetizer in the middle middle of our park day.
Nomad Lounge is always a must for us whenever we’re at Animal Kingdom. Perfect place to take a break, grab a snack, and chill with a drink. We’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu, but today we went straight for the Cuban Frita Sliders. So good (although they seem to shrink a little every time we come, WTH?). Washed it all down with a High Tower cocktail—always super refreshing on a hot park day. Cam took great care of us.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Nomad Lounge, I had visited once before with my sisters family so with kids and grandkids popping all around (hyper from the day) was hard to focus on the atmosphere and food/drinks. This time we went and stood in line just moments before they opened at 10:30 and got a two- seater outside on the porch and enjoyed the insect soundtrack and music offerings (mc Afro beats- looked it up Shazam). Also by sitting by the railing you see the water parades with various characters;) Next up was the bread service! Coconut Curry Sauce, Guava Sauce, Ginger Pear Chutney and served with crispy Papadams (Indian flatbreads made from lentil flour, with just just a bit of curry?), Thai Red Curry Milk bread (so soft reminds me of Wonder Bread), and Pao de Quejio (small cheese rolls) $14.00 Ordered the Vegetarian Sliders and Fries, came with two small slider and 4 fries made from yucca. $15, I believe last time we had this there were 3 sliders but perhaps it was dinner time and that is why? They were good but not worth $25. I did see an epic salad at the table next to us, definitely ordering that next time. Along with our drinks, Hibiscus Henna $6.75 and Mustang Coffee almost $15. Mine was refreshing and added just a bit if water to it, a bit strong on the line but so good!!!! My husband said it was tasty but more for winter with the butter and alcohol. On a hot day, not so much. It was a nice oasis in the middle of the park. I loved the porch, even though hot, felt more exciting than inside or at the bar! Go, enjoy the atmosphere and bread service!

I hate to give this review. Bartenders were very nice. Place is beautiful and comfortable. Food was terrible. Today, we visited on Nov 17, 2025 right at opening. Ordered sliders, chicken satay and pork belly. Pork belly was good and expensive for the one little piece we got. Sliders were dry and lacking in flavor. Chicken on a stick was dry. The Lamu Libation was tasty but the Jenn’s Tattoo was watery tasting and not good. We had eaten here one time before and we were definitely looking forward to coming back, but today was a big letdown. Not sure what happened, but we won’t be back. $104 could have gotten us way better food and drinks somewhere else.
We LOVED the patio at Nomad Lounge and enjoyed our “downtime” hanging out there. The covered patio is next to a river that had occasional boats float by with characters and music. The food; however, was a little disappointing. We expected to pay a lot - and we did, but the portions were very small. We ordered several things to share (sliders, ribs, bread, cauliflower & churros). The sliders came with two tiny sliders and like 5 fries. (The fries were stacked – when they have to stack your fries to fill the plate, there aren’t enough.) The Tiffins bread service was fancy – wasn’t really a hit for us (some unique textures & flavors). Some of the bread had a gummy cheese type filling that we didn’t care for and the chips had a very strong turmeric seasoning/flavor. Too fancy for us. The breaded cauliflower, the pork ribs, and the churros were all good and we enjoyed them along with several great drinks. Overall we weren’t impressed with the food. The best part of this place was the shady patio by the river to relax.

Awesome atmosphere but it was just gross. The cleanliness of this joint was poor and no one did anything to maintain the structure of the couches nor the single seating around the patio. We expect precision and perfection from Disney no matter the price. And believe me it is well overpriced. Service OK, Food Average and cleanliness poor. Come on Disney you’re better than this
I came here for the first time with family a party of 5. We sat at the bar. The Lady manager was extremely rude and unpleasant. And the older white gentleman bar tender took my drink order and ignored me the rest of the time. And It was not busy at all. I asked for Lemon in my water as well and he said ok and handed me the water and went and fiddled on the register like he didn’t just ignore me in my face. I never got my lemon. Nor did he ever take my food order. It’s Sad because the atmosphere is very nice. But the customer service is bad.
Another very average Animal Kingdom dining experience. Sat at the bar and ordered several rounds of appetizers including the chicken satay skewers, the beef/pork sliders, the pork belly, and the churros. The skewers and the sliders both came out barely warmer than room temperature and I really did not enjoy the flavors of either dish, neither were of very high quality (and btw, the yuca fries that came with the sliders were god awful, soggy and flavorless). The pineapple glazed pork belly itself was pretty tasty but I didn’t really enjoy the flavor of guajillo chili sauce. The churros were the highlight, I actually enjoyed them, though only with the vanilla crema, the chocolate sauce was bland and watery.
Was just served raw chicken. Server very nice but manager played it down and didn’t comp full meal just the satay. We expect more from Disney
Waitstaff clearly have an attitude towards non-drinking guests. Service was terrible, both the waiter when we sat down and the bartender when ordering to go. Waiter’s demeanor completely changed when we ordered waters (which he never refilled, though he passed us multiple times when empty). If it weren’t for the amazing gluten free churros (which is arguably the best gluten free item in all the parks), we wouldn’t bother. No Disney magic here, train employees to be kinder please.
We are day 2 into a 2 week disney trip and we dined at Nomad Lounge today (March 4th) and my husband is violently sick...within an hour of eating there. The rest of my family are fine...we all eat some of the same items off the menu but my husband was the only one who ate the Korean bao bun.
We come here all the time and this was the first time we ever got up and left before being served. We were sat at a higher top table and asked to be transferred to a lower table because a party member of ours was not comfortable with a high top. We were denied and said shorter tables are only for families with children. (Outside tables were open as well as 3 indoor tables and we have been sat at lower tables before with no children in our party) Our server came over and we knew we were not going to enjoy o our experience because we’ve had her before and she’s very rude, abrupt and just seems to not want to be at work. We had questions for her and she rudely cut us off before we were finished. One of those questions being if we could order items off the online menu, she said no the online menu is incorrect they don’t serve those items only at tiffins. We were very off put by our experience and it’s a shame because we love this place.
I loved Nomad Lounge in the past—now something is not quite right there. The new small menu and forced time limit makes you feel rushed. In addition, Tiffins and Nomad have a bus problem with tables…it is the second time we were rushed to check in and then waited almost 30 mins to be seated because they needed a table cleaned….and we waited as several people including management walked by the table that was obviously waiting to be cleared. Do better Disney!
