checkers has a lot of nostalgia for me when I was younger. My older sister used to take me there as a there, now I have one close to my new home and I go there every time I want to get another feel of the nostalgia that I had as a child. The staff in the quality of food has an enhance my experience and I will never not choose checkers to go to this place specifically on Garth Road in Baytown Texas will be my first choice when it comes to a lunch even sometimes dinner selection.

This was my first time to stop at the Checkers Baytown location and I was very pleased! I love the seasoned fries! They were so hot and crispy and the box was over full! I loved the bun on the cheeseburger! It could have been a little bigger though! The server at the drive thru was very friendly and nice!

I had lunch at the Checkers on Garth and I DID get a Chocolate Shake...FYI NO MAGGOTS!! Employees were VERY friendly n got to talking with the manager Jeremy and this location is under NEW management...so maybe the MAGGOTS N UNDERCOOKED FOOD is from EX MANAGEMENT and EX EMPLOYEES not taking proper steps in preparing food...from what I can see NEW MANAGEMENT n maybe NEW EMPLOYEES is just what this location needed!!

Every time I come to checkers my food is fresh and Shannon is very nice has good customer service . Shannon Always take real good care of me. Because of how great Shannon is.I only eat at this restaurant because I work here in baytown.

The food pickup process for a mobile order pickup is a little weird, but the food is great.

The food was okay except for the sauce that they put on the barbecue burger. The next time I order I will definitely say to leave off that mayonnaise flavored sauce. Google map directions stop at Charlie's. Once it stops at Charlie's you have to look over towards Garth road to see checkers.

The baconzilla is still delicious. The fries would be good if they weren't always small and too crispy! But overall good!

First time having Checkers. This was a grand opening with local rappers Slim Thug and Lil KeKe. The food wasn't good. The burger meat didn't have much flavor, and the texture didn't seem like it was beef. It was also a little cold. Maybe it was vegan 🤔. The fries were hot, a little too salty for my taste. The fries are batter seasoned, and there is no need for extra salt. The service was good. Polite, friendly, and speedy. It seemed like that was the best part about my first time at Checkers. I went to this location to show support of a new business for Don KeKe, but I could have spent my time and money elsewhere.

Manager has to cook, first time everything was cold. Took it back and she complained to me about how she the only cook... Waited forever 😭 meat tastes raw.... Sad because I hadn't been to checkers in 30 years. It's not supposed to taste like that 😭

Just tried their $5 meal. Burger doesn’t come with cheese. ($0.69 extra) The burger was small & not good. The chicken bites tasted weird. Like I’ll imagine fake chicken will taste like. The season fries were good. The coke was ok. Don’t recommend.

Thought I would pick a quick meal on the way home. A nice hot checker burger! Nope, got a cold meal. Fries were so cold they were limp. Nuggets cold and mushy. I honestly think I got some left over food being that it was so late. I will never go to this location again. Terrible!

Everything tasted like salt. The chilli on the hot dogs were mouth drying salty the spicy chicken double tasted as if it was marinated in salt. I aint never had to give away food to dogs bcuz it was gross. This was the time. Maybe its just that location (garth baytown tx).

Placed a order online at 11pm and they gave my dasher the wrong order. Then when I proceeded to call the store nobody answered. If y’all don’t close til 2am there’s no reason why after me calling a total of 14 times nobody still answered the phone!!! What’s the point of having night management if nobody is going to do their damn job!
