My waiter Xavier at the PF Changs in Beachwood Ohio was exceptional, his customer service was top tier. I love the fact that not only was he tending to me and my sister he also was bartending and seating the door. He never missed a beat and constantly came back to make sure we were ok. It's very rare that you get this kind of service and he did just that. Thank you Xavier for making my first time there a great one. Also the food was great.
Besides the rude waiter that was making me uncomfortable by rushing me to order. They gave us a nice, polite and funny waitress 😉. She helped to bring my anxiety down. She deserves a raise. But, the first waiter needs to slow down and be patient with people. Needs retraining.
Never disappoints, this location had some great food. Bartender was very helpful and nice. Definitely will be visiting again!!
We arrived 2 minutes before the last people left. They were getting ready to pack up. However, after finishing a long drive, this place was right next to our hotel and so we ended up going here. Regardless, our waiter David was very friendly and made sure to provide us with an excellent experience. Our food was hot and tasty, didn't seem rushed at all. They specifically kept the restaurant open just for us. Greatly appreciative of their courtesy.
Very nice place. We had the dinner special and it was really tasty
Everything was absolutely delicious. As a family of 6 we shared 3 entrees and a few appetizers, and it was one of the few times we demolished every single plate. The rice was cooked to perfection, and my personal favorite was the Mongolian Beef! Our server was Jess, and she was the best. Very attentive - we never ran out of water or had empty plates on the table. I am definitely coming here again in the near future.
Yummy 😋 food and exceptional service.. commendable service from Ladaishare, Thanks a ton..
My favorite Asian restaurant! Me and my girlfriend visited 𝐏.𝐅. 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆’𝐒 on a Saturday evening and really enjoyed our experience. Great service. The food was cooked-to-order, hot and delicious! We ordered duck 🦆 rolls and crab 🦀 rangoon for appetizers. For our main entree we ordered Chang’s spicy 🌶️ 🍗 chicken and pepper steak 🥩 with 🍤 shrimp fried rice 🍚. For dessert I selected Chang’s 🍏 apple crunch with vanilla ice cream 🍨. The Tokyo mule was pretty great too. Highly recommend 👏🏾
P.F. Chang’s is always good. Tonight was no exception. I had the steamed shrimp dumplings and the Mongolian Beef with a side of fried rice. I was a little expensive but worth it. The food was good. One tip the waiter gave after they brought my food out was you can have them throw in your rice with your meal when they’re cooking it and then your rice will have all the flavor of your meal. They can’t always do it when it’s busy but when it’s not crazy busy, they can. Doesn’t hurt to ask but I thought overall that would be really good and you likely wouldn’t have to get a side of fried rice if you wanted to save a little money. Thanks for the tip. Ps. I forgot to take the photo before I started eating so that’s why there’s some rice with it. Normally it’s just beef and green onions.
Randy was great at hostess, I brought my son and she was friendly and he is usually shy but she made him smile. Our server was David and he was attentive and got our order down the first time. My son can be hard to hear and he got it right the first time got it right the first time. Our drinks came out in a matter of minutes. Our appetizer was fried dumplings, it was cooked right and rather tasty. The wagyu beef was good and cooked just how I like it. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to anyone!
As far as Chinese food goes, I feel like this is the best on the palate that I've tried. Started off with the pork dumplings. You can choose steamed or pan seared. I like that crisp outside so I chose seared. Wish they had slightly more of a crunch but the flavor was great. Also got the crab wontons which are my FAVORITE thing to get at any Chinese place. They come with real crab and not imitation like other places try to pull off. Not as much cream cheese filling, but these are the real deal. More crab than anything else. The sauce to go with it is paired so well with the flavors of the wonton. I could eat all 6 by myself. Not all main dishes come with rice so check for rice bowl symbol next to the name. I had crispy honey chicken while he had the Kung pao chicken. His smelled AMAZING. Both tasted great, but we both thought his would be spicier and there was no spice at all. 2 appetizers, 2 drinks (soda and tea), 2 entrees...total was $79 without tip! Place is pricier than most Chinese places but wow do you leave full and more than likely will have a to go box! We will return 🙂
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with rice and it was delicious! My friend had the Orange Chicken which she enjoyed!! Great food, good service and great location.
David was not only a terrific server, but funny and attentive throughout our dining experience. He will be a part of the reason we keep coming back!
I love their food, but I am especially grateful for Cory, who went above and beyond to help me out when my order was incorrect and I worked a really long day and did not have the energy to go back out. Cory made magic happen and that is the kind of customer service that matters!
The staff are incredible. Happy hour here is great. The food is to die for, everything taste very fresh and you can tell the chefs care about the people they are cooking for. Drinks are always good here. Recommend to everyone
LaDaishare was AMAZING. She noticed we had a birthday gift for our friend and brought out a cake for us at the table. She gave me such a good recommendation when I told her I had never been to PF Chang’s before she took the time to list her favorite dishes and what she liked about them. (The Chang’s Spicy Chicken was AMAZING)
My server Xavier was wonderful. I had a hard time choosing a drink and he was patient and had a great attitude. My drink was excellent and made by him. He made sure to check on us often and made himself available whenever needed.
Megan H. was our waitress this evening and she provided top tier service! My daughter and I have been having a rough time with personal life and we decided to come to PF Chang’s to cheer us up a little… let me tell you, we sat at our table for 2 hours because we did not want to leave! The food was delicious, but our waitress made a very memorable moment for us that we will never forget. It’s so hard to get good customer service nowadays, but Megan’s service was natural and you can tell how passionate she is about what she does. Keep shining Megan and thank you for the extra ordinary customer service!
Server was great. Table, plates seats were nasty with food on them. We requested another table only to find it wasn’t clean either and the napkin with the silverware had hair in it when opened. Asked the manager to come to the table to express our concerns he removed the nasty plate silverware with the hair. We will not go back the food wasn’t good either.
Shoutout to Kayla for the amazing service! She was friendly, professional, and handled everything with a great attitude. She really made our visit enjoyable. P.F. Chang’s is lucky to have her!
What started out as a morning doctor’s appointment, turned into a delightfully unexpected lunch. P.F. Chang’s always has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. At 11:30am, I think we were only the second table to be seated. What truly made the difference was our waiter, David. He was attentive without being pushy. During our time together, we learned that David has been at this location since they opened 23 years ago. That level of experience was evident in his knowledge and friendliness. Last but not least, the food was fantastic. P.F. Chang’s provides consistent quality. Lettuce wraps are always a favorite. David even sent us home with some of the sauce. Five stars all around - food, service, and atmosphere!
Kayla was an amazing waitress at PF Chang’s! From the moment we were seated, she was welcoming, attentive, and very professional. She made sure our drinks and food came out perfectly and checked on us just the right amount without being overbearing. Her positive attitude and warm energy truly made our dining experience enjoyable. Excellent service like hers is what keeps customers coming back. Thank you, Kayla, for such a great experience!
I ordered lunch to pick-up. The food was ready on time and super fast. Not much service as no one was at the desk when I arrived, but when he got back to the desk, he had my food so there was little interaction. The food was pretty good. I loved the egg drop soup once I added a little salt. The dressing for the salad is very tasty. I ordered the honey chicken and added shrimp. It was very flavorful, my only complaint is that some of the "chicken" pieces had no chicken and were just batter. Overall, based on the speed of service and taste, I would order again.
Hey guys! This is an updated review! When I walked in, I was drawn into the beauty of it all! The host was welcoming. Our server was good as well! I'm not an eggplant but, my date ordered it. I was taken back by the delicious sauce on the eggplant! Never tasted ANY eggplant as good as theirs. I Had a 🥗 with added salmon...that was really good, spring rolls which were okay but, the sauce for them added such a wonderful balance! I also tried the veggie fried rice which was okay. Update: the eggplant 2nd time around was horrible! Had Asian Caesar salad which was great! The 3rd time was today! 6/1/23. The food was good and the service was ok but COULD have been better. My boo & I were told we will not get consistency when it comes to the eggplant dish when we complained about it... Bizarre! It's worth a try though... The restaurant that is.
Our group of three had an excellent Tuesday evening at PF Chang's. The service was outstanding, and we took full advantage of their specialty menu offerings. A standout deal was their half-price wine bottles with the option to take home what you don't finish – a thoughtful touch. I ventured into trying hot and sour soup for the first time, though it didn't quite win me over. The kitchen was accommodating when I requested hot oil for my dish, which they readily provided. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance for conversation, making it an ideal spot to catch up with friends over a satisfying meal. Definitely worth returning to.
I went on a lonely Monday night. No crowd but no vibe. Service was fine, but I kinda wish I had gone with first mind which would have been a lite bite at Heinens. Parking was fine though lot was a bit dark. Table was cleared AFTER I arrived. Service was attentive and I tipped Server accordingly.
I came here with my friend. We ordered honey glazed shrimp, sesame chicken and spring rolls. Tea was tasting good. Honey glazed shrimp was very delicious, shrimp was soft and tender inside and wasn’t overly cooked at all. Sesame chicken was average. Sauce on chicken was tasting little bit burnt, but chicken itself was ok. Brown rice, i didn’t like it at all. It way too dry. Spring rolls were delicious, service was good too. Overall it wasn’t bad.
First time visit. Occasion was our 16th anniversary, hubby suggested hyde park across the street but I was not in steak mood😂 always wanted to try PF Chang so here we were. Food ordered: half sized lettuce wrap: very good dynamite rolls: very good pork dumplings pan fried: very good chef's 3-course meal for hubby and our son: teriyaki chicken with fried rice($3 extra for fried rice) and Mongolian trio with fried rice I ordered Kung pao chicken extra spicy with white rice. Entree was my LEAST favorite. Kung pao chicken is a Sichuan dish and I am from Sichuan and it's nth like Kung pao flavor I had in Sichuan. It's not bad just not authentic at all. Kung pao is a complicated flavors of sweet sour spicy and garlic, it's unique and hard to balance all these flavors. They only have cesaer and peanut ginger dressing for salad so if you plan to have salad here remember to bring your own on the go salad dressing packet!🤣 service was very slow and our server made quite a few mistakes. Brought wrong appetizer, brought salad instead of soup my hubby ordered for his meal, then forgot about the soup after bringing the entrees😮💨couldn't find the wine my hubby ordered. They are very short-staffed for sure. Non-alcoholic drink selection is very limited. Probably will NOT come back.
The food was nothing special at all. Flavor was lack luster. Beautiful atmosphere though. Large paintings and sculptures.
It was my first time at this famous establishment. I had no expectations, so, it was alright…considering we drove 40 minutes here. Our Server David was very austere but helpful. Their famous lettuce wrap wasn’t disappointing, and my sea bass on a bed of slightly blanched spinach was a nutritious option for me. I attribute my less than enthusiastic rating to certain negatives I am refraining from mentioning here.
Okay, so looks can be deceiving because this looks good but tasted 2 star. The fried rice didn’t taste like fried rice at all it tasted like it was microwaved and the orange chicken did not satisfy my Chinese food craving, it didn’t have that taste I was looking for and had a lot of breading. I’ll stick to the lettuce chicken wraps from P.F. Chang’s. Side note they do give you a nice portion of sauce on the side if you ask for your carry out.
This was my first time at this location. My expectations we're set a little bit higher because the reputation of this restaurant is supposed to be better in quality. First, I have to start with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Unfortunately it appears as though things are not as clean as they should be with what you would expect under normal conditions notwithstanding the current pandemic. Now let's move on to the food itself. I had to order three different entrees before I found something that was satisfactory. First was a lettuce wrap containing some sort of proprietary blend of chicken and spices. The temperature of the meat in my opinion was lukewarm at best but I was told that is the proper way for it to be served. The second dish was Mongolian beef. Again the temperature of this dish in my opinion was not hot. Now the second thing I'll say about this dish is purely a matter of my personal taste which I did not care for but some people might like it. At this point I had really eaten nothing. So I gave it one last chance and ordered a spicy chicken dish. This food came out with the temperature that was actually hot. It had just enough spice and wasn't overwhelming. In fairness the manager on duty whose name was Angela did do her best to accommodate me and make sure that I had something that I like. She did say that the restaurant was Under New Management. She also said said she would be speaking to the proper people in regard to cleaning the restaurant. I try to be fair when I do my reviews. It's one thing to not like the taste of any given food but when I go out and pay for a meal I expect that the temperature of whatever I order the hot! I might give this restaurant in another chance depending on the response from the new management.
Used to do PFChangs more frequently. Lettuce wraps and fried rice with chicken were good. Still miss the cashew chicken/fried rice. Decided to get dessert too tonight. DONT DO IT...NOT WORTH IT. $5.29 for chocolate peanut butter cream pie. Tasted ok. But I have had cupcakes bigger than this pie. $5.29. Wow. No way. NEVER AGAIN. Added a couple of pics here. The pic with the dessert fork gives perspective of how small this dessert is. Sorry, but that was disappointing. ☹️
The lettuce wraps were amazing! First thing wrong is upon seating our appetizer plates had old food on them.. Our entrees were lacking something. We got the orange chicken and kung pao. While we went after 7pm we also had poor service. There were at max 5 tables of people and several staff walking around talking and we were waiting 10 mins on a refill.. if you have a dust allergy refrain from coming here. I don’t think they’ve dusted or wiped anything off since they’ve opened.
First time eating at PF Changs. A big let down for me. I tried the lunch size beef and broccoli on lo mein with egg roll. The beef and broccoli on there own were excellent but the lo mein was drowning in brown sauce that was super salty. The egg roll left alot to be desired. Small thin and mostly wrapper. Not like traditional egg roll. The filling taste was just ok. The dipping sauce was good though. I also ordered an app of three crab won tons. Flavor was good but one was cold inside. Pretty sure they are pre-made frozen and cooked when ordered. Expected better for the price. My wife ordered the lunch size fire cracker shrimp on rice. She mostly enjoyed it but mentioned it's not spicey at all. She didnt care for the egg roll. I tried her shrimp dish and thought it was bland. Could have been the salt from my lo mein messing up my taste buds. The service was prompt an excellent. Honestly this place reminded me of an over hyped Applebee's for Asian food. I don't think I will be going back.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice with chicken. The chicken was was over cooked and dry. The shrimp was also very over cooked and very small. The portion size of the rice was big however for $21 I wouldn't expect my protein to be severely over cooked. I ate around the protein so I spent 20 bucks on rice! They need to do better.
The food was good, the service was slow, and the place was gross. We got the Steamed Pork Pot Stickers, which tasted good but were served cold. The Kung Pao Shrimp was good but didn’t have any spice to it. The Shrimp Lo Mein was good and had a bit of a smokey taste. That was it. Everything was just slow. Jordi was kind, and polite, and seemed pretty busy, but I don’t think they had a bartender on duty because she had to go and make our drinks. All of this came to over $107 (before tip.) We could have gotten hibachi for less than that and would have gotten to watch our meals get made with a show. The decorations are cool, about the same as they have been the last several years. The music was pretty good. They were playing some popular EDM music like covers of Cake By the Ocean and Lights - Prodigal Daughter. That being said, EVERY CHAIR in the dining room desperately needs to be wiped down. The backs of EACH of them are just covered in food and drink splatter as well as a ton of fingerprints. It looked like a bunch of the employees had nowhere to be, just kind of shuffling around. I watched 3 employees take multiple visits each just to bus 2 tables. When they were done, there was still rice on the table and noodles on the floor. I watched the hostess take the highchair that was previously covered in noodles and carry it right to the front breezeway without wiping it down. She proceeded to just visually inspect each menu from the top of her stand and then put them under her stand without wiping them down and went back to sipping her soda and checking her phone.
Really shocked that I ordered an 11.89 salad for lunch and I would compare it to a side salad at a fast food place. Here’s the picture of the salad vs the menu picture. Adding a “protein” would have made the salad 16.00. At least the tofu dinner I ordered was adequately proportioned.
Had bday dinner... Good food...bad service. Bartender also had our table...not a good decision.. We enjoyed ourselves regardless of that. And the birthday sparkers on the dessert were lots of fun. Positive mark with those .
Added to our "ban list" for how awful lunch was today. We were there at noon and should have left like the group next to us. I have no idea how this place still exists. Our waiter was fighting with another waiter the entire time and hated serving. We started with the crispy green beans which were the reason they deserve 1 star instead of 0. They were excellent. I got the peach boba freeze refresher and was completely thrown off when it said it's black tea but looks and tastes like peach puree. It really could have been a stellar drink if it resembled how it was laid out in the menu and actually had black tea to cut the sweetness. When I asked, I was looked at funny and told "it's peach black tea." I am still puzzled on why it had to be lied about and a completely different drink it tasted like. I started with hot and sour soup, one of my favorites, to be delivered a mushroomy, yeasty stew. The smell nearly removed our appetite, I tried it as best as I could and then said, "why am I forcing myself to eat this monstrosity?" I swear there was a piece of salmon in it as the icing on the cake. I put it to the side and my husband then got a whiff of it and crumpled his face in disgust. This needs to be removed from the menu or called mushroom stew. My husband got the pork egg roll, white rice, and the Korean fried chicken in the sauce. I got the veggie spring roll, fried rice, and spicy changs chicken. He immediately soured at his egg roll and I understood when I bit into my spring roll. The veggies are not shredded or a good texture for this supposedly light and hearty fried bite. It was wads of cabbage thrown together with scallions and large jullienned carrots in so much heavy sauce that this doesn't even deserve to call itself an egg roll, let alone a spring roll. I stopped eating this halfway through and the manager walked by to remove our dirty plates, NOBODY asked how the food was or if everything was all right. Like they were resigned to the fact that patrons would look this miserable with full plates of food just sitting there. He couldn't finish his chicken as midway through something happened in the kitchen and without ventilation, they poured straight cleaning solution down and began swooshing towels with their feet all over the entrance into the kitchen which we were seated in the back next to it so the odors just wafted freely. He said the sauce and chicken itself wasn't bad. However, the chicken was on the bone and as he finished the drumstick, the thigh was like a piece of cake in texture and taste, weird all around for crispy fried chicken, it was not. The white rice was the best thing we ate in the entree. I know the flagship is the spicy chicken, but the continuous theme of this experience is that the sauce ruined any competent of the food if it could after the green beans. All sauce should have been put on the side or something. My chicken had good flavor, but it was like cake coated it and I ate half and pushed it aside as the fried rice blew me away at how bad it was, like it was old garlic in spoiled butter made 3 days ago and then thrown on the Blackstone for my unlucky self to heat and toast up to soggy clumps of old rice. I ate one bite and it lead to me pushing this plate to the side the same time my husband did. Absolutely no one asked how our meal was. I have no idea what others were eating as we looked around to see how this place had patrons. The waiter brought the check to us face down and said "ready when you are" out of the dark blue of abyss we were in, I snapped up immediately and said, "I am not paying for that" as I pointed to the full bowl of stew. Bewildered, he didn't argue and took 7 full minutes to remove it from our bill and bring it back as we sat right next to the registers with him bickering at the waitress for 3 minutes of that time. Never again, it's been 5 hours and we cannot even think about food because of this. My husband said he would have been satisfied burning the money spent on this meal and I agreed saying I wish we would have starved.
Not even worth the one little star. We were straight rob! The fried rice tasted like it could have came from their PF Chang's frozen dinner in the grocery store aisle. The egg drop soup was flavorless. My husband's sweet and sour chicken had no seasoning at all. My margarita was watered down. To top it off the restaurant was not even busy and our server was rushing us to order and every time he brought something out to our table as if he had to rush back to the kitchen to cook the food. Please don't waste your money like we did. Never again!
Younger kid manager didn't care that rude like waiter have no idea his name never said .colored guy no bearing on that.served dirty filthy glass with black stuff on it for my tea and brought soup bowl used with dried food and wetness of being used.chicken horribly dry and tough to eat , dried clumsy brown rice and such small portions of broccoli I paid for to add.horroble dead restraunt at early dinner late lunch time and that manager never offered discount or anything towards all this mess with trying to eat.this was between 3to5p on wed the feb11th.need better run like kayla always great to please.horrible staff now and will not be back here.over priced and not worth the food.never even asked if we wanted desert ornever asked how food and all was andnever came for refills on tea and lemonade rude snappy comments and quite arguementive.just not worth driving from lorain here.
Hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. It took almost 45 mins to get our food and it was terrible. My husband even found a piece of hair in his food. The waitress was very unprofessional and was talking poorly about other customers to us. If you do decide to risk it….Just don’t go in the bathroom. Falling apart and disgusting! I would recommend Panda Express over this spot. So bummed because this was once a great location.
I wish I could give 0 stars! I ordered honey chicken and friend rice for pickup and it was gross! No flavor, no taste! I’m from out of town and I wanted to grab something quick that was close to the hotel. Wish I went somewhere else 😭 never again!!
It was filthy. Trash on the floor. Napkins on the floor. Restroom was full of paper towels on the floor. Food tasted like it was warmed up in the microwave and served. On top of everything the bill was high. Never going back. So disappointed at what’s become of this place. I hadn’t been in over a decade and will not go back.
I would have given a 0 if possible. I ordered fried rice eighth extra egg. Arrived home to find out there was no egg at all. So I called and requested to speak wet the Manager. An employee placed me on hold. Didn't ask me to hold then another employee gets on the phone. I'm assuming this is the manager so i explain my reason for calling he begins to tell me the egg is typically on the bottom. I said, "we've eaten the entire dish" no egg in site. He then doesn't say anything and puts me on hold. Someone else picks up, and says how can they help me. I am immediately is this the manager I was placed on hold after speaking with the manager. He says, "I'm the head honcho here!" So I ask did they share my purpose for calling. He says no. After explaining the same experience with him he says he'll credit my account. I said thank you. O receive an email with my credit of $2.00 for the extra egg. I didn't receive ANY egg but needless to say there's a reason this parking lot stays empty. Trash service and trash all the way around. STAY AWAY!
We were our servers only customer, yet our tea was luke warm, had to ask for hotter tea, we both asked for fried rice, we were given brown rice , yet charged the $3 unchanged for fried rice. My meal was completely wrong. When I advised my waiter, he said he already knew he told the cook the wrong thing and still brought it to me. Had to ask for a knife to cut the huge broccoli pieces. Food taste, nothing to write home about, my Mom didn't even finish her meal due to lack luster taste. It had been 20+ yrs since I had been in PF Changs, won't make that waste of time and money mistake again.
Wow- I ate here at least weekly for years as I went to school and worked in the area. EVERYTHING about this place has gone to the pits!! Had to go in for my curbside order, good thing I did as it was WRONG! The resolve I saw was the food being adjusted versus remade which is totally unacceptable! I requested a refund. Waited 4 minutes for the manager - who did not ask what my concern was nor did he apologize or offer an alternate resolution. He then took 7 minutes trying to provide the refund. Thanks to the bar server who took the time to hear my concern and adjust, that was a positive to this horrible experience along with the fact that I saved money and calories not eating there!
I ordered through Ubereats today. Two lunch bowls both containing chicken. Both bowls... chicken was so hard it could not be cut or chewed. It looked like yesterdays chicken was refried again and then someone forgot it was on the stove. Instead of them throwing this chicken out and make fresh new chicken, they served this garbage to me. I order frequently but it stops today. They should be ashamed to serve what I received and I sent pictures to Ubereats and requested a full refund.
Walking in, we never got greeted. We actually had to go up to the bar to get someone’s attention. After finally being seated, we waited an additional 10 minutes. Nobody came. A white couple came in shortly after we got seated, and sat behind us. They were welcomed and the waiter went straight to their table. We left immediately. Nobody asked us anything. Horrible service and I see why this business is failing
