Ordered online for curbside pickup. I got there really early but it was ready quicker than the online ETA so I didn't have to wait long. I got one of the lunch specials: blackened whitefish on top of rice with side of carrots. The other side, I upgrade for a buck fifty to cheesy fries with bacon bits. I was pleasantly surprised there were jalapenos in the cheese. Yum! Everything was delicious & the guy who brought it out was cool & friendly. A+++ ‼️

Got a chance to try the Texas TBone special, while not a huge fan of TBones… it was quite flavorful and cooked how I preferred! Definitely would give this another go as I’m a steak person and do enjoy a good steak.

I arrived in Beaumont TX today after battling traffic from San Antonio. With the I10 closed that caused a problem but I made it. It's was time to find somewhere to eat and We We hadn't had Cheddar's In a while ao Cheddar's it is. We decided to call in our order and go pick it up. The place was packed as usual not many parking spaces available so we parked in thw pickup slots. Once we arrived we had a short wait for our order. The cashier was friendly and courteous. As we paid for the order we noticed the steak was well done instead of medium well but that was okay not a big deal. Once we got home everything was delicious. I got the Chicken Fried Steak with Corn and Red Beans and rice. The red beans and rice were delicious. Well seasoned and tasted like homemade. The Chicken Fried steak was huge and The corn was also good and sweet. We got a order of onion rings and they are always delicious. My Fiance got the 6oz steak with green beans and French fries with a order of Croissants. Everything was absolutely delicious as always. I love Cheddar's definitely a favorite while visiting Beaumont Texas.

I wanted a STEAK sooo bad today and I remembered that I saw that Cheddars had it on the menu… So I ordered it, and guys let me tell you, it was sooo delicious and well prepared. Drew, “Thank You” and hats off to everyone in the kitchen preparing orders. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS HOT, ALWAYS WELL PREPARED, and ALWAYS GOOD 👍🏽

I had the 20.00 T-Bone steak dinner with a baked potato, no bacon cuz it's 1.49 extra for a few sprinkles of bacon and it could be imitation I'm not sure. If I liked bacon on my baked potato I would have paid for it however I'm really just sour cream and butter person. It was worth every penny. The steak was absolutely delicious. That is why I don't have a picture of the steak and the baked potato once I started eating I forgot I was literally thought I took a picture of it. If you like a good T-Bone try that special before it's over. And the drink was the Island Tiki my first time trying it, I won't get it again.

I ordered a ToGo order for my family. I had ordered a dessert and asked that we get a second cherry so my kids don’t fight over one… they gave two cherries and a whole side sauce cup of them with a sweet note saying, “mom and/or dad deserve cherries too” and it warmed my heart so much. Right at the end of our meal, our server told us that she was just served with a party of twenty and asked for patience while she got them started. This is a mixed up review as it gives both good & bad. Dined in recently & had the best waitress & service. However the kitchen staff ruined it. First a hair fried in the cheese bites…then a kitchen GLOVE melted to bottom of child’s plate…got two orders totally wrong & tried to blame the waitress!! It was not her…she was awesome & we saw she had put in the order correctly. It was chaotic to say the least & actually we began to laugh at the irony of it. Very very nice manager took care of it all for us in a pleasant way. We left hungry but happy. lol So awesome service just please needs to straighten out kitchen staff!!

We visited Cheddar’s tonight with a group of 8, including 3 small children, and had a really pleasant experience overall. The star of the evening was our waitress—she was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive, friendly, and handled our group, especially the kids, with patience and professionalism. I ordered the sirloin with red beans and rice and French fries. The steak was okay…, but I found the red beans and rice to be pretty bland.

I eat at cheddar's for the croissants... they're fantastic. The place is a bit sticky, but it is family friendly. Two adults and two children can eat for around 55 dollars. So overall, it's not fancy but good for family night out.

If visiting this location and you get a waiter named Michael then you’re in good hands ! His service was excellent! Very nice and did his job great! The staff at the front desk needs a little work on time for greeting customers and friendliness. Several times visiting here and every time we have had to wait about a hour on food arrival after ordering. The place is clean and the food is always pretty tasty!

My waitress handled our party of 11 with care and was very accommodating with the birthday cake we brought to the establishment. She put the cake in the kitchen until we were ready to have dessert. I had lunch here the other day. I ordered salmon, broccoli and green beans. Everything came out looking good but when I got to the middle of my salmon it was raw. The atmosphere and the service was excellent. I will go back. Next time I will try something different.

1st time there but host station not very organized. Had the CFS and thought it would be better but was just bland. The hot croissant covered in a honey butter was great and I did think twice about licking the paper. Was on way back to Louisiana so I took my cake to go so couldn't get the scoops of ice cream, whipped topping and hot fudge. I'm here to tell you i would go back to try this dessert completely. My server was spot on.

My phone only allows me to give 3 stars I give it 4 stars they were great to get our large group in on short notice. Food is good we'll be back!

Arrived at cheddar from out of town at 6:30. People were waiting for tables that were not being cleaned.we sat down and waited 15mins for a server to take a drink order then 20mins later got our drinks. They didn't have items that were on the dinner menu,and when we settled on what they had, it was dry and took close to 1hr to be served.the tables around us were loaded with dirty dishes ,we watched for over1 1/2 hrs and staff still walked pass the dirty tables.the Resturant was not that crowed to start .being a traveler. Just passing thru Texas on our way to Florida.

First time having been to this location in a few years. The menu had a lot of great selections. The food was great. The server was friendly, but a bit slow and we had to ask for some things more than once. The bags for take home were so thin, they ripped as soon as you tried to open them.

No more creamy mashed potatoes. No more fat delicious green beans. It's not the Cheddars I grew up eating at. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken with 2 sides and was completely disappointed. They must have new chefs or switched suppliers and all items have changed. I had not been in a couple years and nothing makes me want to return. This will likely be Beaumont's next causality restaurant. The dining area was empty.

This location had a nice atmosphere with little wait time. The food is decent for its price, though flavor for the ribeye was something left to be desired it wasn't necessarily bland, and it was filling. Plus, it was one of the few places that was still open later than other restaurants that were gluten-free.

They were VERY short staffed which limited where you could sit and how long you had to wait for service. It is a good thing we went at 3:00. Lunchtime probably was worse. Waitress did the best she could but frozen drink was liquid by the time it arrived.

Not my favorite restaurant like it used to be years ago. Idk, the menu just isn’t appeasing anymore. I tried the queso it was really thin. I just stuck with an appetizer. The menu needs a change of pace . Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean.

Stopped by for dinner yesterday evening and found this restaurant has changed since our many visits. The restaurant did not appear to be as clean or maintained as in the past. We were seated at a table in the bar and though the bartender brought us two buttered croissants immediately, he was not our server. When our server finally arrived we ordered our drinks (2 ice waters), our entrees, and extra napkins. The server stated there may be an issue with my order (chicken pot pie) and suggested I consider ordering a backup entree. I asked him to check with the kitchen before I modified my order. He left and several minutes later he returned and stated the chicken pot pie would take 30 minutes to prepare. I responded that 30 minutes would be okay as I was also getting a house salad. He left...in the meantime we still did not have our water!! More time passed and we began to be concerned we would never receive our drinks (water), so my wife decided to reach out to the bartender for our water. As she got the attention of the bartender and asked about our water our server returned with the water and my salad. Well I finished my salad and more than 30 minutes had passed, plus our server had made a couple of passes by our table to let us know that our meals should be out soon. More time passed and then finally our meals arrived. My wife had ordered the Bourbon Salmon which included a base of rice. The rice was hard and not fully cooked and it appears from the presentation that the kitchen was not too concerned. We finished our meals and had to wait again for our server to appear so we could request our check. Our table did not have a digital payment appliance so when the server finally returned he had a digital payment appliance from the bar and handed it to me to complete the payment. We have stopped here many times on our way to and from Beaumont but I think in the future we will make other arrangements for our meals. The cleanliness and our meal service were severely lacking on this visit. BTW, the bartender was a much more attentive server and his customers who came in after us were served before us, finished their meals, paid, and left before us...all while tending bar.

We had lunch at the Cheddar's location here in Beaumont this past Sunday. We normally have a good experience here, but Sunday is experience with a little different. I ordered the salmon and unfortunately it was overcooked and lacking flavor and tastefulness. My daughter's boyfriend ordered the bone-in ribeye and he found it to be tough and not nearly meeting expectation (As and ex employee of the chain at another location, I suppose he had reason to have certain expectations.) Things were just a little off this time. The atmosphere was good as was the service. However: “My wife’s pain killer was as usual made to perfection”.

After specifically letting the waitress know we want our food super hot and not necessarily together, the food STILL came out cold ! All of it ! Another 15 minute wait, and the food was warmer. This store is GRIMY. Filthy ! Back to front. Outdoor dining was filthy, seats, walls, benches. Everything was dirty and dusty. Including the spider webs above. After spending about 45 minutes inside, the outside was still filthy on the way out. Spoke to the manager about all of this, and she basically just listened and made excuses. Never again ! I guess we in Beaumont don't deserve any better.

I don't recommend you eat here. The people are kind but the customer service is not what it should be. I ordered two meals, one for myself and the other for my sister - who worked a double shift (16 hours). The order was placed at 9 pm and we received our to-go order at 10:17 pm just to go home and find that the order was wrong. People work hard for their money, with the price of everything going up you're not doing me a favor fixing my food. I'm paying for a service. I drive back and speak with the manager at 10:25 pm. Just to be told that the cook has left, the kitchen has shut down, and no accommodations could be made. This place used to be a very pleasant spot. I am disappointed in what the Cheddar's in Beaumont has become now. It is VERY discouraging to order your food, not get what your ordered, AND then go to bed hungry because no accommodations can be made. If I wanted a fast food type of meal I know where the drive-thru is. I say all that to say - this is unacceptable and very frustrating. Your money can be better spend elsewhere.

Two stars overall. Prices were good and portion sizes nice. Parking is good That’s where the good stops.. Restrooms were not clean. Husband said in the men’s room it looked like someone threw up in the sink. And the ladies room had aked filth on the corners and toilet paper all over the floor. Went to Cheddars in Beaumont for the first time in a while. Not a good experience at all. I said i needed a booth for four and they first tried to seat me in a 2 seater. When the waiter did make an appearance, he ran by saying he would be right back. Right back was 11 minutes later. We ordered food and drinks after he asked if we were ready to place our drink order. 11 minutes.... When th appetizer came out there was a piece of plastic about 1"x3" in it. The manager was very accommodating to this and got it fixed immediately. The waiter was nowhere to be seen until a few minutes after the manager brought the new appetizer out. When the meals came out, they were very disappointing. All came out with complaints. 2 of us ordered green beans as a side. They have switched the type of green beans, offer a much smaller portion (on all sides), and they were not good in any sense, taste or appearance. I had the key west chicken and shrimp. The chicken was a single piece tender and 4 very small shrimp. The size has shrunk at least 50% from my last visit yet has the same price. The bed of rice was non-existent on mine and my friends fish dish. And again, there was no waiter that came to see how everything was after he dropped off the food. If this is what cheddars has become I will gladly take my money else. Nobody was pleased with their meal, which is nothing like Cheddars used to be.

We waited 7-10 minutes at the host stand waiting to be seated. shortly after we were seated by our server, a line begin to form at the door full of guest who were waiting to be seated as well. i ordered the new orleans pasta and my pasta came out so dry that even my server noticed and offered me extra sauce, and the noodles were so disgustingly overcooked and so soft i couldn’t bare to enjoy it but continued eating anyways because of how hungry i was. my server was very nice and made the visit enjoyable, but without her my visit would’ve been about a 0/10.

Got me not wanting to eat out anymore, I'll start preparing my meals at home a day ahead so I don't have to eat out. I just wanted to post an update I was contacted by the owner of Cheddar's and apologized to for my experience and was encouraged that they were working on getting the issue corrected and was given a $50 gift card for the future. Way to go Cheddar's!!! I appreciate the care and concern of the owner.🤞💜👑

I hate to be a Karen but damn, we were told it was a three minute wait. Longest three minutes of my life, was really like 15. Then they sat a party the same size as us that got there after us BEFORE us. We asked about that and were seated immediately. As we walk to our table there’s a ton of tables open and multiple workers just hanging out. We got our appetizer before our drinks…just overall a disappointing trip.

Food was ok. Not great but yet not bad either. Sat at the bar and did not get acknowledged for more than 15 minutes. Once acknowledged with the "be right with you" statement, it took another 5-6 minutes to take our drink orders. During this 20 or so minutes, the bartender stopped what he was doing to make orders for the waitresses. I would have left much sooner but wanted to see how long it would take and how the rest of the service would go.

This location need better management or training. I entered the location today late afternoon. So I could miss the lunch crowd. I went to the bar and plates and glasses were everywhere. Several team members just walked right by so I know there very little teamwork for the front of house staff. Even saw some staff sneaking out the bar door. The bartender had the whole section to himself. He was overwhelmed with to go, tables, and drinks. Couldn't manage it very well. But he did his best. The food finally arrived and the presentation was terrible. I couldn't even tell if my fish was Salmon. Whoever runs this location, needs to shut down for 1 day to go over training. I'll visit again soon.

Gave us a 30 to 45 minute wait after that another hour and than the manager didn't even try to but attention to our needs even though we were waiting for longer than an hour and a half

Went to mother's day, terrible service, wait was expected but tables were given according to the hostess even when they weren't on waitlist or lower in the list. Our waiter came maybe 3 times even if that. Took over 40 minutes for food to be cold, undercooked and wrong. Waiter took 10 more minutes to even come back and ask if anything was wrong when we notified him of the wrong items, missing items. He apologize and never came back or offered a solution. Waited another 30 minutes hoping he would come back to ask about the checks. Had to ask a other waitress for help as he never came back. "Manager" was called also never came to the table. He eventually came with the whole receipt never once asked how to be divided. Terrible service not coming back. Other tables by him were served better than us and it wasn't too busy for him to serve them but it was the excuse used for us.

They gave sides for the food and no chips 3rd time they have messed up. Absolutely wild.

I had to wait 20 minutes for a cold monster cookie made me remember why I stop coming to cheddars

So tonight 5/3/25 we decided to chose cheddars for dinner because it usually never disappoints when we do go out. Tonight we arrive there a little before 9 and was seated immediately in a section that had no one else in it. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for a server to come to the table. As soon as we sat down I places an appetizer order off thier table kiosk and it was sent in to the kitchen. We'll another 10 minutes go by and the waitress finally shows up and gets out drink order. I told her that the appetizer was placed already and she said great. She left to I assumed go get our drinks, well another 10 minutes go by and she finally brings our drinks out and has nothing to say about the appetizer. Another table was sat next to us and they are doing the waiting game as well.. so almost another 10 minutes go by and we had a different waitress show up at our table and told us that she was there to take our order. We told her that we haven't even received our appetizer. She went to the kitchen and then showed back up at the table asking what we placed because they have alot of food sitting in the window. We at that point told her to completely forget about everything that we were leaving. She proceeded to tell me that we had to pay for our drinks ( non alcoholic ) before we could leave. I told her that wasn't happening and she needed to get the manager that has been walking around the whole time we have been there.. she went to the back and came and said that the manager said we didn't have to pay " like it was going to happen anyway ". And the manager never even showed her face at the table, and the table next to us go up and left as well. They need some serious revamping with staff now, because they are going down hill fast..

We arrived at 10:00pm got sat at 10:30pm and are waitress got tripled sat the waiter did not even get to us until 10:45 to take our drink we order al of are food at that time are food got to the table at 11:20 just for ten minutes later the manager came up to us and said we need to leave because they were way past there time we apologize and we asked if we could finish our food she said we need to hurry up and leave and but mind you we were not loud or obnoxious and we apologize to the waiter because we did not get to sit down and enjoy our meal also we standed up to leave and we looked around and other colored family's were not asked to leave only my different colored family. I will not be going back

I walked in . Not busy that I could see. I sat at the bar intending to have an appetizer and order something to go. There were several others sitting at the bar already but the bartender was not there. When she did come back she started making a couple of drinks, right next to me, that had been ordered prior. Never greeted me. Never acknowledged me in any way. Went on to talk to a waitress that had come up to get said drinks. Went back to other end of the bar and spoke with the other patrons that had been seated. I waited for about 10 mins. or so. Then I left. I can't home and ate something in the fridge. The service was so much better!.I honestly don't know if I'll ever go back to Cheddar's. Truly disappointing!..

The salad 🥗 was good. The rest was o-----k. The service was terrible. Ordered extra bread and extra ice and never got it. The waitresses were more concerned with themselves and their phones. But not again.

Complete garbage; highly disappointed in customer service, food, and restaurant environment. Service was slow (other tables got drink service first after we ordered), table next to us was vaping, and after transitioning food to to go order it was incorrect and incomplete. No front of house manager / supervisor was on duty. Do not recommend.

Foods good but my problem is that they dont work as a team. If you tell me that the other server is helping with a party pick up then slack. I asked for a refill and she told me she would get it but didnt ask me what i was having and walked passed me then avoided me for 15min until my server finally shows up.

Worst Cheddars experience. When we walked in, we were not greeted. Had to repeat to the hostess our party a few times (4 people) - had to wait about 20 min for a table even though other parties were sat before us. Service was extremely slow. Waited 15 minutes for our drink order. Seemed like they ran our of cutlery - asked for napkins which took 15 minutes. Every meal arrived Luke warm and had obviously been sitting under food warmers. Would not recommend.

Where to begin? For starters, on a high note we didn’t have to wait to be sat and they took drink order, we also ordered the spinach dip appetizer. Our server who was very obviously new and was struggling came back to take our food order. We waited for thirty minutes after ordering our main courses. When we got the food I asked about the spinach dip because in the 45 minutes since we had order the appetizer it was nowhere to be found. They forgot about it and automatically assumed we wanted to take it off. We then ordered the monster cookie dessert which came out rather quickly. The cookie was hard and stale. Gross. Inedible to say the least. We called our server over to explain what was wrong and all she did was take the plate and walk away. No sorry no nothing. We walked out after having been comped the spinach dip and the dessert. This was unbelievable and really disappointing. Also be aware that they charge extra for the more croissants.

They threw away my ID. I left it one night, called immediately after. They said they’d keep it in the safe bc I live out of town. Come back to town a month later, they said they threw it away. Management is a joke

Received my food cold twice after waiting a hour to get the first cold plate. Told the manager Drew er didn't want the pasta because it keeps exciting back cold and he took the plate he didn't ask what I wanted to change it to or anything just took the plate he didn't offer any type of empathy or offer any type of solutions

BUGS IN FOOD!!!!!! I did a pickup order and upon eating my food at home I noticed a bug in the spinach dip.(pictured below/above) I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty named Erica when she said there was nothing she could do if I did not bring the food all the way back up there. This is unacceptable and this also isn’t the first time I’ve heard this happening to someone.

First time to Beaumont Cheddars. We were seated promptly. We sat there for 10 minutes without anyone approaching the table. Finally we flagged down a manager and we were told they were having a staff meeting and they would be with us shortly. We were a table of 4 and could not believe what we were being told by a manager. We said excuse me and she actually repeated it. She walked away from the table and we walked out. This could have been handled much better. We were not offered drinks or even a heads up when we were seated. Never never again. Wish there was a zero.

I am a traveling nurse. I often am in Beaumont for work. I have dined in and carried out meals at this restaurant. I have not had a bad experience dining in with service or food quality. This is the second time getting carry out food that had poor quality of food with portion and with temperature of the food. This time even the yummy crescent rolls that everyone loves that I paid extra for was cold and smashed into a small to go box with cold butter poured over them. (The server told me they didn’t puff them enough but they are good to eat) The shrimp was small less than and inch in size. The chicken tenders had been fried and been sitting under a warmer… The broccoli and cheese was cold and runny. The baked potatoe was dry, no butter and especially nothing like that what is served on the table that I saw another customer get while I waited on my food. I’m highly disappointed in Cheddars with the quality of the carry out food. I checked the food prior to leaving and was too upset with the rolls to look any farther! Now I’m upset that I actually paid for this meal! I called to talk to a manager, the phone rang for 5 minutes and was told she’s too busy to take a call and will call me back in 10 minutes. Well her time is up. Cheddars you have to do better than this!

It is Saturday and I went to Cheddars in Beaumont for lunch. I decided to sit in the bar area so I could watch college football on the tv’s. Unfortunately the hostess sat a table of 10 children in the bar; all around 4 years old. They were very loud and unruly. I could not hear the game, so I took my food home to eat. Other people in the bar got up and left for the same reason. There was plenty of room in the main part of the restaurant. The hostess said the bar waitress had that table. The manager backed up the hostess. I guess the bartender will have a slow day. My advice is don’t go to Cheddars to watch football. I thought I was in Chucky Cheese. Child birthday parties should not be held in a bar!
