Truly a GEM, Dora is very sweet and a great cook, her and husband do it right. I was very pleased especially since we all took a chance as none of us had ever eaten here before. I recommend this place highly. Everything was very tasty and the meats were lean as well. Thank you for a great experience.

Amazing Mexican food!! Spice level was perfect salsas were all fresh and homemade. Service was super friendly and accommodating. My son wanted a torta for the plane and they packed it up specifically for travel. I wish we lived closer- but we will definitely plan this into picking/ dropping off people at LAX.

The food here is great; the service is friendly and attentive. But what I swing by every day for is the aqua frescas! Made fresh with real fruit everyday. I had ones made from cucumber and cantelope (melon) and am excited to try their other options. Which aqua frescas is available that day is a surprise! Never upset, I love them all. 🤗✨

This is by far my favorite Mexican food place to eat. They bring fresh chips and salsa that you can taste it was just freshly prepared and hand made chips. The food tasted amazing!! I ordered a steak and shrimp burrito with their red sauce. The flavor of it was so good I would eat that burrito for breakfast lunch and dinner if I could. They have beer on tap and they bring very cold glasses for you to pour a pitcher. Nice environment, authentic Mexican it feels. Then the home made tacos they do on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays I believe are the best street tacos I have ever tasted. The tortilla was perfectly soft, handmade and warm. The meat was so juicy I didn't even put salsa on my 1st 3 tacos. But what impressed me the most here was the staff. Incredibly friendly, tremendous service and hospitality. Always made sure we were taken care of. This is my favorite place to eat out at by far. I guess they have new owners recently and they are doing a phenomenal job. I will most likely be returning here multiple times a week. Keep up the great work!!

First time here, and it was worth it, from chips and salsa to chilaquiles verdes, CAFE DE OLLA. Every Mexican place I go I prefer Cafe de Olla and let me tell the Cafe de olla here hit the spot.. overall... satisfied customer!!! Ah the Jamaica Agua Fresca 👌

Food is Delicious and hot.. The carnitas is my favorite..Very flavorful.. The taquitos are another favorite.. Nice size portions..Service is very personable and friendly..

Frijoles was great! First and foremost, the server/waitress was excellent! Too bad I don't remember her name, young lady with braces and glasses. She was super kind and attentive to our questions. The food was great! I ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of beans and rice. Quesadilla was full of flavor and the rice OMG! Rice was amazing! Rice and beans came in 2 separate dishes/cup bowls. The beans were very good, not like typical refried beans that were warmed up and dry. Chips and salsa were very good as well. Frijoles is definitely different than your average Mexican food restaurant. We will be visiting again very soon!

Frijoles absolutely has the best home made food ever. My husband and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We highly recommend this Mexican gem. Not only was the food excellent, the staff was outstanding and the atmosphere charming. Thank you Pablo!

Finally giving this place a try as I have past by many times and always seemed to be busy with diners and to go orders. They are a Mexican style restaurant with a good looking selections as well as some burgers or chicken type meals. Their service was excellent even though it did get a bit busy with their diners and to go orders. Looking forward to returning soon

First timer today , had shrimp cocktail and chili relleno . The food was so good and I was a very happy costumer. Our server was a young girl who gave us great service . Definitely coming back here . They also sell menudo and pozole daily so that’s a plus A+

Best menudo and chilaquiles we have had in a long time, reminded us of home in Mama's cocina the flavors were not assemle and hurry to the table, they were made with pride of the dish. The service was 5 star 1st class Alondra was very attentive took the time to tell us of the breakfast menu not listed. Worth the visit come and check it out you won't be dissatisfied. We will be back.

If you love serious heat, this burrito is for you: bold, layered flavor made for true spice enthusiasts. The salsas are made fresh by the owner herself, with heat levels ranging from 1–10—but if you go Mike hot, expect it to lean even spicier. 🔥 A solid 10/10 and an absolute must-try!

With Marla's all but completely gone, this place has the absolute best pezole around! And the ceviche is phenomenal! There are too many great dishes to list but this place is great. Highly recommended.

I went here a couple of years ago and the food was okay and the service was slow. I recently returned to see if things had gotten better and I was amazed at how good the food and service have become! I've been back here at least once a week over the last couple of months and it is without a doubt my favorite Mexican food in Beaumont. All the dishes are tasty and served fast (and right!). With Marla's all but completely gone, this place has the absolute best pezole around! And the ceviche is phenomenal! There are too many great dishes to list but this place is great. Highly recommended.

Cute little spot. And I'm writing this review to JUST talk about the deep fried ice cream. We've been searching for the perfect one and finally found it here. The chef came out himself to explain his process and it was the kindest thing! The ice cream was absolutely to die for. The perfect fried dough exterior with an ice cream center and the perfect cinnamon sugar dusting. I'd make the 30-minute drive just for the ice cream anytime. Staff was kind and food was good as well

Service was really slow we waited a while just to get drinks and even longer to get food. I would still go back and give it another shot though. I did have a better previous experience.

Beaumont does not have many options for non-chain restaurants and Frijoles is one of the better places to grab a bite of food. Their portion sizes are large but I don’t feel it justifies the prices. I usually enjoy dining in but this time I decided to order for pick up. Some highlights from the entrees: - The shrimp ceviche tostada were extremely flavorful and perfectly balanced, the only thing that sucked was the tostada got soggy on the 15 minute drive home - The shrimp cocktail had plenty of shrimp and seasoning, we added tapatio when we got home for spice but I was glad the base tasted good already My least favorite item were the carne asada street tacos, the meat was dry and bland and the green sauce did all the heavy lifting. I don’t know how to feel about a Mexican restaurant not having good carne asada. Overall, we ordered about five items and the total was over $80 so I was disappointed with the quality of some of the items. Especially since over half of our order had carne asada and it was all dry.

Careful ordering from here. Ordered from their online menu and the prices are not accurate. It’s almost triple the price! Ridiculous! They need to update ASAP./ Ceviche is listed as 5.99 when in fact it’s 13.99! Watch out!

I wish I had better to say. I came in to eat but first asked about their entertainment in the evenings. It wasn't busy at all but the waitress, who was the only worker, was sitting at the bar. I didn't care one bit but just wanted a little information and a table. I don't think she understood because all she said was that the restroom was for customers even though I didn't even go near the bathroom. We went somewhere else and had no issues.

The nachos are just mediocre but the shrimp were disappointing in so many ways . They taste musty and for 25 plus dollars there were only three small shrimp smothered with coleslaw and sauce.😭😭 will not be returning
