I had never eaten Thai food before. My kids go here all the time. The food was delicious! Service was outstanding and the atmosphere is quaint and personal.
We ordered the pho, peanut sauce, and our little boys got the lo mein from the kids’ menu. We enjoyed all the food immensely. The presentation was gorgeous, the flavors were well done, and the portions were generous (especially the kid’s portions!). The veggies in the kids’ lo mein were gorgeous and yummy (the 5yo loved them). The only thing that was weird was they didn’t bring our food out at the same time, and brought mine and my husband’s food before our little ones, which left them asking where *their* food was 😂 That could have had to do with the fact that we came in 30 min prior to closing and they were probably trying to get dishes out quickly to close the kitchen. And they DID get the food out quickly! Everything was prompt, and our server brought us a chai iced tea to go that was delectable (the little boys stole most of it ☺️) We love supporting local businesses and love Thai food, and this place was also easy on the budget. We’ll be back I am sure!
Whoever gave those 7-one-star reviews either didnt eat at Jan's Thai Kitchen, or has no idea what he/she is talking about. The place is a hidden 💎! I've been to many Thai restaurants and this one absolutely stands out. Dont let unassuming location and low key outside/inside decor fool you. The food is to die for! The lady who served us was so kind and there is barely any wait to get your food. They are very efficient. Unfortunately, we discovered the restaurant too late during our short trip to TX and were able to only go twice and both time the food was so good. More then recommend this place.
I rarely leave reviews and have had many Thai restaurants in the Fort Worth area. Was the best Tom Kha I've ever had, creamy and super flavorful. Very tender chicken as well. Pad Kee Mow was also delicious. Staff was polite and timely. Wonder environment and overall great experience. Could not recommend enough, a must try.
There was something so comforting about the atmosphere—calm, quiet, like the world had slowed down just enough to let us breathe. Our server was an absolute gem: sweet, patient, the kind of person who makes you feel genuinely cared for. But the food… the food stole the show. I’m Hispanic, and somehow, that curry fried rice tasted like my childhood. It reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking—so familiar, so full of soul—it actually caught me off guard. For a second, I thought I might cry. I know it sounds silly, but it was a full-on Ratatouille moment. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.
A bit of a “hole in the wall.” A gem of a find. The food is excellent! We got the red curry, spicy snapper, chicken satay, and papaya salad. All were great, especially the papaya salad and red curry w/ veggies and tofu! We will come here again.
It says a lot about this restaurant that nearly every time I stop in for lunch there are fellow customers that I recognize from prior visits. Most days, you'll meet the owner/manager, herself. I've tried many items on the menu and appreciate that Jan takes the time to answer questions and guide your selections. If you'd like to try something new, let her guide your selection. She's super attentive to allergies, so if you have a specific need, let her know. Her chefs prepare food in the styles Jan learned in Thailand. This is delightfully legit Thai cooking. When Jan tells you that most non-Thai visitors find her kitchen's spice level "2" plenty spicy, take her advice and give that a try.
The food at Jan Thai is always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. I pass by plenty of other Thai places without regret, because I’ll happily drive the extra distance just to eat here. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner—she was just as courteous and welcoming as her food is delicious. Jan Thai is always prompt, gives accurate pickup times, and clearly understands they’re not just serving food—they’re feeding families and providing comfort through every meal. This is hands down my number one Thai restaurant in the area. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re truly missing out!
The people that attended us were nice and welcoming. The food was amazing 😍🤩, my 6 year old actually finished her food. My "I only eat bland Chicken Quesadillas and chicken nuggets" husband really liked the food.
My family and I went and had an amazing time! The food was delicious and the presentation was great. The woman who served us was so friendly and attentive. She did a great job! 110% would come back!!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Lunch comes with amazing soup. A little hard to find but so worth it. Reasonable prices too
A very nice and clean Thai restaurant in a quiet area. Food was fresh and didn’t taste like it was loaded with a lot of oil like some Thai restaurants. We had the Pad Kee Mow, Tom Ka Soup, Spicy Eggplant, Panang Curry and Thai Ice Tea. Overall food was really good. We thought the tea was a bit more sweet but was still very good. Service was friendly and the place seemed very clean. At a time where it seems like many restaurants have increased prices just cause (beyond costs), this place is very reasonable and hope they keep it that way. Will definitely go back.
Not Fast Food Thai I've been to other Thai restaurants who's flavor tastes "unfinished", as if it was thrown together at the last minute. This is not those places! I had yellow curry and garlic stir fry both with with beef and the taste was outstanding! One difference, this restaurant has 5 levels of hot instead of 4 in my experience. You should consider raising your spice level here. The atmosphere is clean and minimal but enough to still add to the Thai experience. The only drawback here is the location. It is secluded in the back lot of an office building (bathrooms are clean but part of the office building use). I'm sure this is of little matter to regulars but their business will benefit tremendously with more street side appeal since they seem to have the food down perfectly. I will be returning to try their other dishes very soon!
Jan Thai is a hidden gem in Bedford. The restaurant is very clean with super friendly staff. Ample parking. And the food was incredible. I highly recommend giving them a try. Use google maps to see where they are because you can’t see the restaurant from harwood. You have to turn in and go around the back of the red brick building. We ordered the teriyaki salmon and yellow chicken curry- both were mouth watering delicious!
We've had takeout here before and it was very tasty. Tonight we dined in and it was just as good. Restaurant is clean, service is prompt and friendly, food is served hot and fresh. I love all the vegetarian options.
Very good! My favorite Thai restaurant in the area! My parents come here all the time and the waiter actually knows their order. Everything I’ve tried so far is so good! My dad usually gets the chow mein with chicken. The last time I went I got the chow mein and it’s my favorite dish from there. My mom gets the pad see ew, and that’s good too! The portion is smaller than the chow mein though. This last time my boyfriend got the peanut sauce. He asked for level 5 spicy but when he got it, it wasn’t spicy at all. My food was more spicy and I got level 2. They make the food very fast and service has always been good. The price is good too especially for the amount of food you get. The mango sticky rice is sooooo good! The mango was perfectly ripened and the cream on top of the rice was also good. The only downside is that the restaurant is a little hidden so it’s not getting the attention it deserves. The Thai tea is a little sweet but you can easily dilute it. The price of the Thai tea is such a good deal. It’s the cheapest price I’ve seen in the area. I also have to mention that they have a cute little garden in the front. I think more people should try this restaurant. New review: 4 stars now because the takeout portions are half of what you would get if you ate inside the restaurant. Unfortunately it’s just as expensive if you pickup. I think that the price should be a little cheaper if you pick up from their store because again the portions are a lot smaller. Also the crab ragoons are not that good and the egg roll is okay.
The food was delicious and the serving sizes were huge! The staff was very kind. We loved every bit of our experience. The chicken panang curry and beef pad Thai were both wonderful.
Love this place! I am a picky plant based eater and there are plenty of options for me. I also love spice. They have been able to accommodate both and not compromise on flavor. The host is very nice. She has always made us feel welcomed. I have my go to dish which is the peanut butter sauce tofu. If you love peanut butter then you will love it. The establishment itself is very clean and cozy.
Everything cooked to order. Always tastes fresh. The Crispy Vegetable Egg Rolls are a must to order. And the traditional Thai Fried Rice is always good and more than enough for two… if you do choose to share.

Went for dinner here and it was excellent! I got the yellow curry with chicken and a Thai iced tea, both delicious. Everyone in my party loved their food. The service was fast and very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place.
We love going to eat here! Everything is so delicious and authentic! The Thai Tea is a 10/10 and the seafood lad na is my go to order! The mango sticky rice is my favorite, definitely a must try!
My fiancé and I were craving Thai food and this place is SO FREAKIN GOOD. We ordered crispy shrimp rolls, crab rangoon, chicken satay, pad thai, massaman curry, peanut sauce beef, and egg custard with sticky rice. We took it to-go and let me tell you I was in heaven eating every single thing at home lol. I’m already looking forward to eating here again and I still have leftovers. Also the staff is super sweet and they had our food ready quickly. Delicious food, generous portions, just the best.
I love how they have something for just about everyone to enjoy. The food was delicious, the staff were so kind and I love sending people here. Though I have only been once which is shame on me. I have very sensitive dietary needs and I had zero issues while eating here. They are like a hidden gem that needs to be shared with everyone!

Placed an order on the phone on a Monday night. Arriving, the staff were extremely friendly and it felt very authentic, mom & pop aesthetic. We ordered pad woon sen with chicken and pad zee ew with chicken, both medium heat, and a thai tea. All of that for $30. Not a bad deal. The thai tea was delicious, 9/10. I will say Im used to medium heat being a little more spicy, but they have (i believe) 5 different heat levels so it balances out. I could get hot next time and be okay. I give my pad zee ew a 7.5/10, the noodles were a little overdone, and the sauce could have more flavor, but it was still good. I did enjoy all the vegetables in it. Gotta get my fiber in. I felt the same about the pad woon sen , it could have a little more flavor and sauce, but still good. 7/10. I would visit again to try other things like the curry noodles.
Really great food. My daughter said that the Penang Curry was the best she’s ever had. My Crispy Duck was surprisingly juicy and everything was delicious. Hubby had the Crispy Pork Belly which was good too. We will be back! Dinner for three was $70 with tip. No photos … we were hungry!
It is decent Thai restaurant with lots of varieties of food. We had their Thai fried rice and fried shrimp rolls. For Desert we had their Thai famous Thai mango sticky rice. The food overall was ok and decent. The staff service was excellent. The Thai fried rice was great.
Decided to go try a new thai place. I cant quite decide what I think. The taste is stellar, the prices not so. I think everything is a little on the expensive side. The place is a little hard to find and its compounded by all the construction. However given that, the po-tak soup i had was delicious and the sauce on the snapper filet was outstanding. I really liked the pairing of the sauce with the mild taste of the snapper. The chicken wings were meh and also a little undercooked with not much flavor to it.The chef's specials ( i tried two) seems to be the dishes to get
This is one of my son’s favorite places to eat! The food was delicious, the servers were friendly and prompt. The garlic beef was good
I would have given 5 stars but I felt the price was a little high for the portions. My husband got the Tom Yum soup (which was great tasting) but was almost $9 for large. The Pad Thai with chicken was so delicious. The pork dumplings were also nice. My husband had the Cashew Nut chicken and he enjoyed as well. If we wouldn't have had our Uber eats promotions ($25 off) then with tip we would have spent over $40. I think that was a little expensive but for other maybe not so much. I definitely would recommend for the food alone

Ordered thru uber eats. After i placed the order, they automatically adjusted my payment to pay an extra $1 without an option to cancel on the app. The shrimp wrap did not list any ingredients other than shrimp and wonton wrap. It had cream cheese which i absolutely hate. On top of that, the picture shows 5 pieces, but they gave me 4. Ordered crab rangoons for friends and they said those were good. Pad thai with shrimp and extra egg was delicious. Most places do not give u crushed peanuts, which makes a huge difference. 1 spicy is as spicy as heavy dose of black pepper. Asked to include utensils and napkins, but didn't give me chopsticks. Asian restaurant...no chopsticks...
We tried out this restaurant on a Saturday for lunch, but it was hard to find. There are signs visible on the roadside, but we went around in circles a bit trying to find the entrance. Go North on Blue Quail Lane just past the AutoZone. You should see the Jan Thai sign to the right. Turn right off the main road into the AutoZone parking lot, but instead of turning right again to enter the AutoZone, go straight towards the red brick building. The entrance is to the left of the red brick building. As for the food, we ordered Summer Rolls with Shrimp, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Rad Nah with Pork, and Kid's Pho with Chicken. Loved the large portions. The peanut sauce that came with the summer rolls didn't have much flavor on this visit. The peanut taste didn't stand out to me. The Pad Thai came with lots of shrimp but was lacking flavor as well. I asked for mild spicy on the Pad Thai, but it really wasn't much spice at all. I really enjoyed the Rad Nah which was very tasty. Our waitress was very nice.
This was my first experience having food from this restaurant. I had the yellow curry chicken which I absolutely didn’t like at all and I’ll be disposing of it which is $13 totally wasted. The curry chicken was sweet tasting and not anything like I’ve had before at other places. It tasted like sugar was added. I had such high expectations of this because it looked so good. I also had the pad zee ew and it was okay, but it was lacking something in the flavor, the carrots and broccoli were very tough and not cooked enough for my liking and it was too runny. I had such high expectations on this dish as well because the presentation was so good. The last thing I tried was the mango sticky rice which was pretty good. The mangos weren’t sweet at all, but that can happen at this time of the year, so o totally give a pass on that. The packaging of everything from this restaurant was done very well and all items I ordered were fresh. It’s unfortunate that I really only liked the mango sticky rice.
Service was good, clean and good atmosphere, food spice taste and curries were good but in Pad kra pow which i had ordered chicken was over cooked and hard which was given a hard time to chew it may be due to over cooking or frozen chickenused for cooking not fresh chicken. Rest sauces, thai herbs, and spice levels were balanced perfectly in the right way.

The food was too salty! I ordered Crispy Pork Belly and guess what it arrived in 5 minutes. I even joked with the server that it felt like it was heated from a microwave. Lo and behold, the pork was not freshly fried, it was very chewy! It should be called Chewy Pork Belly! We told the server about the experience and she took offense of our criticism. We gave Jan Thai a second chance after the first time in a couple of years was disappointing! But there will never a third time! NEVER AGAIN!
This is our first time here and, more importantly, it was our first time trying red snapper(finally) Ill start by saying the broth for the seafood soup we got was stellar! Unfortunately both the shrimp and mussels were over cooked, despite being tasty. We got the fried red snapper with curry... the fish quality was stellar and it was cooked wonderfully! However, the curry was just genuinely not good at all... like the worst we've had. Nothing was bad per say, but it was lacking so much flavor and body that it honestly ruined the fish. Lastly, the fried calamari we ordered was quite disappointing because the batter was thick and undercooked. I really wanted to enjoy the meal, but with the price and flavor I'm super disappointed.
