I had an amazing meal at this Thai restaurant! The crispy pork was super crunchy and perfectly seasoned every bite was full of flavor. The boat noodles were absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, thick, and full of depth just like what you’d find in Thailand! The portion size was generous, and the aroma made me hungry the moment it hit the table. The atmosphere was great and very welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors, this place is a must-try!

We've been regulars at Thai Spice on Bellaire for over almost 20 years. We moved away from the area a while back, and on our recent visit, we found out that the owners and the staff had changed. This spot has been our go-to Thai restaurant, and we were super hesitant to order and try the food after a management change. First of all, I have to commend the change in the upgraded interior of the restaurant. The long-running business was in need of a makeover, and it definitely got one. We ordered our usual favorites, Fried Tilapia, Tom Yum Kung, and Chinese broccoli. We were pleasantly surprised to say that the food was delicious and very close to, if not exactly, what we had tasted before the change in ownership. The new staff was very friendly and helpful, and our server always had a smile on her face. We're happy that the restaurant we consider a staple of the Chinatown community has kept their traditions alive!

The first expression I have for this restaurant is that with this name, this place is definitely not authentic, it sounds like Thai version of Panda Express. However, the friend that brought me here said they just tried to use this name to draw in more none Asian customers, but probably they loses more Asian customers throughout the years. Their food is authentic and tasty. Most importantly, their price is fair compared to other Thai restaurants. The steam fish with spicy and sour sauce is a must order here. We almost finished the soup, and it goes well with the rice. We also ordered a squid salad and papaya salad. I personally recommend their squid salad, but both of them are fresh. Pad Tai is also recommended that it tastes creamy. We ordered a few seafood appetizers, which I think is average. I would recommend order more main dishes. Overall, this place is another Thai restaurant I recommend. It's a good place for a group of friends to have lunch together.

The squid salad tastes like the salad I got in Bangkok. The sauce that go with the fried fish also is a plus point. However, sticky rice with the chicken and tom yum are very normal, I literally don’t think that it was fresh. Service is good, but quality is just medium. Price is cheap in my opinion when I ordered 4 meals with just $40.

I don’t live on this side of town but having read all the positive reviews I decided to stopped by this place to give it a try. Not going to lie but the food wasn’t good and I left disappointed. The tom yum soup was so spicy and so sour that I couldn’t even taste the lemon grass or any other ingredients in the broth. The beef tiger eye was so so, meat was definitely chewy. The papaya salad was the only dish out of 7 dishes that I ordered actually tasted okay the most. The house fried rice was so so but the crystal clear noodle was bad, no taste whatsoever and it was overthrowing by so many pieces of the tomatoes in there that I was like “uhm…no” even the Thai tea was bad, so much sugar, oh my.

The food taste that okay, a little on the salty side. Did not look anything like what was on the menu.... The seafood tomyum soup was sad.... It only has shrimp in it and the shrimp was definitely not fresh. I would not recommend that soup. The sticky rice was fresh either. It was more like a rubber ball.

I will never go back there, took a while yo bring food out and it was in parts, so some of ua were eating others still waiting, food it's ok could be better. We were trying to get the waiter attention and she kept ignoring us, just passing by we felted decriminated for being hispanic. Everyone else was getting treated and served, plus we were charge a gratuity 18% and we were a group of 5. The service we got I shouldn't leave a tip at all, I will not recomend.

Our last experience was not very good. Food was not enjoyable, way too many jalapenos. I would like to enjoy a flavor other than pure jalapeno in my dish. I told the waiter it was impossible to eat he didn't offer to remedy the situation.In the past they gave the option to choose the spice level when we ordered this dish. We will not return.
