100/10!!!!!! Recommended by an Uber driver we had from the airport. Boy did he not disappoint some of the absolute best tacos and gorditas we've ever had. Tons of locals line up for these which shows you how good they are. Line gets decently long but moves very fast. Awesome local Mexican atmosphere sitting at a table with 2 or 3 random locals just eating some of the best food you've ever had in your life.

Something people from Mexico City will never agree on is which is the best taco de pastor or suadero in the city. I just found my favorite. This place doesn’t feature on any Netflix series nor does it have any Michelin star or is part of the Michelin guide, yet this is a true Mexico City taco experience. It is located on what used to be the outskirts of the city. But since the city outgrew itself now this place is located in a merging point where people who still have a long way to go to get to their homes and people who live in the area meet. For the same reason prices are meant to be affordable and are kept low. If you want a table you will have to share with someone else, no exceptions, or you can eat while standing. The longaniza, suadero and pastor meats are tender and seasoned just on point. And the gorditas masa is the best of the best. Is it worth taking a detour to meet this place? No, I don’t think so. But if you’re nearby and are curious to taste a good and truly local taqueria then this is your best bet.

This place has been serving Gorditas, tacos and antojos for the last 30+ years. Best Al Pastor in the city. They have not changed their authenticity from day one. Great, cheap, well prepared food for the days when you don't care about your step count. Every time we are in CDMX we make this stop. Tapache is served cold and crisp. Please don't miss out.

One of the best place to try gorditas. Always crowded and full of foodies. Fast service if you are there for Take Away, however limited seating space and there is always a wait time. Parking is usually on street and is full. Very economical and all items on menu are worth trying

Service was a bit off; I got ignored for five minutes despite people behind me in line being serviced. I’ve been here many times so maybe it was a one-off situation. Tacos were delicious as always though. Been going here since 2019 and it’s still my favorite place.
