An excellent place with good value, generous portions and a wide variety of dishes. The baked goods are delicious: breads, focaccias, cookies, and cakes. The simple and informal atmosphere makes it a perfect destination for a stroll out of town: it can be reached from the covered bridge, following a bike path or quiet roads.

A small bar and shop that evokes the flavor of times gone by with a touch of modernity: the owner is extremely kind and full of ideas and a desire to organize events and opportunities for socializing. The bar is fully stocked with everything, including a small grocery store, perfect for when you need something from home: cold cuts, fresh cheeses, fresh bread, milk, and a few ready-made dishes. A wonderful place to stop after a nice bike ride along the Travaco cycle path or for an aperitif. Highly recommended.

Breakfast on the way, excellent coffee, very kind ladies! Freshly squeezed orange juice. The veranda is perfectly decorated, with a unique and spectacular style... the blue Vespa in the window gives you a taste of spring, and the products displayed during the holidays make you want to take a bite, you can tell they're so fresh... if I had room at home, I would have gotten at least two of those round boxes they have on the shelves with all their products on display! These ladies are excellent! Oh, the kids loved the fresh croissant with Nutella and chocolate! Highly recommended!

A wide range of quality local products showcasing small producers from the Pavia area, along with excellent wines from the Oltrepò Pavese area. Courtesy and friendliness make a visit to the bar a pleasant experience; it's worth stopping for a delicious aperitif or a light lunch. Excellent value.

Locale molto carino, personale gentile e simpatico, soprattutto Alessia. Prodotti di qualità, tutto veramente buono e vario. Prezzi onestissimi. Una pranzo davvero piacevole, tornerò!

Oltre a proporre ottimi aperitivi con vini e salumi locali di eccellente qualità vendono prodotti del territorio selezionati. Quando voglio trattarmi bene passo sempre dal Girasole.

Abito in zona per cui trovo molto utile la presenza di questo locale soprattutto per il minimarket e la vendita di pane/salumi/formaggi. Lo frequento quando manca qualcosa in casa. I prezzi sono piuttosto alti, logicamente non sono prezzi da supermercato. I prodotti che vendono sono buoni.

This is a wonderful friendly place for an apéritif or lunch for that matter! The food is amazing and they are infinitely generous with the portions - think cheeses served with honey, freshly baked focaccia, excellent local wines. It's great and if you are feeling like a walk over the old bridge and away from the centre, that's nice too.

We stopped for breakfast during a photography tour of the Pavia countryside. We found it by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. It's a bar with an adjoining minimarket selling excellent quality local food. The lady who served us was very kind and friendly. The homemade cake was delicious, as were the gluten-free cookies. A positive note: the place is plastic-free, so the water is in cans, not bottles. Prices are reasonable. The outdoor tables are really nice. Recommended.

We have high expectations for this wonderful place, which isn't "just" a bar or a shop, but a gathering place for different generations. It's quite well-presented, with nice outdoor tables, a glass section, and an interior full of products from various local producers, as well as more traditional ones, including classic supermarket brands. Prices are fairly reasonable. It's a great place to stop for refreshments if you're near the Ticino River embankment, after a nice, refreshing walk to the Giant Bench #114. What could use a little improvement is the staff's courtesy. A few more smiles and fewer inappropriate words would certainly be more welcome. When you enter the shop and ask, "Excuse me, the bathroom?", it's not nice to be told, "For customers, in the back on the right." When you're having a snack (and have effectively become a customer), it's good manners to wash your hands first and then eat. You can say anything in life, but always with the right tone.
