From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a unique tour of the history. Had an amazing meal with fantastic service. We will be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful dinner at Swift at the Wilbur Mansion. The food was excellent—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were average, but what really stood out was the service. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and genuinely cared for by Sudiata. His attentiveness, professionalism, and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening. A special shout-out to Samara as well, whose lighthearted humor and positive attitude elevated our experience even further. Dining out is always about more than just the food, and the team at Swift made the night truly memorable. Only request: please add Palomas to the menu! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Swift to anyone looking for great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service.

What an amazing place! Sundiata definitely made us feel special and gave us top notch service. The food was fantastic. We ordered the duck and short rib entree. I wish to photographs but I was too busy enjoying myself. I will definitely be back! Thank you Swift.

We went to the swift restaurant on Thanksgiving and it was incredible! We were so impressed! The food was amazing, the service was above and beyond, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back! If you haven’t been, it’s a must!!

My husband planned a surprise weekend outing for my birthday and our dinner at Swift started it off with a bang. From the warm welcome we received from Sundiata, the food and beverage manager, and his staff to the setting and delicious food, it added up to a perfect evening. The restaurant is in an elaborate old mansion (now run as an inn) filled with hand-carved woodwork on the south bank of the Lehigh River in Bethlehem. It has been enlarged over time so there are a variety of spots where you can eat, either in one of the original rooms, a more modern space facing the river, or outside on the terrace. I suspect no-one ended up in the attractive old library, which is right off the kitchen and not buffered from the noise of preparing meals. (Note to owners…) We were invited to choose our table – how refreshing. This is a restaurant where customers’ experiences are more important than its own systems and server zones. Since this was our first visit, we chose an old room that was lined with panelling and built-in servers and decided to wait until a particular table was free. Sundiata kindly offered us a bit of Prosecco so we went into the bar, which gave us a chance to admire the large Tiffany window and learn some history about the building from the bartender. It was interesting to see the mix of people dining that night – it’s not just a special-event place, so there were couples like us, families, and groups of friends (many enjoying the beautiful weather). And a big wedding, which made for a happy backdrop. Once seated, we chose a bottle of wine and our entrees from the rather straightforward menu. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find it even better than we’d read about and expected. Both my crab cake and my husband’s pork were perfectly cooked and complemented by the accompaniments on the plate – not mere throw-away garnishes but well-chosen sides that made the main features taste even better. We like vegetables and were pleased to see they were included with both entrees but decided to order a couple more on the side instead of starters. The spinach and grilled asparagus were terrific, as were the desserts we finished with (especially the s’mores cake.) After hearing Sundiata suggest wines by the glass to a couple nearby, we began to regret that we’d picked our own bottle! He is a master at matching wine to food and it will be nice another time to try out more of the offerings on his wine list. I know some people think servers, like children, should but seen but not heard, but to us, conversations with restaurant staff have been part of our most enjoyable dinners out. That was certainly the case here – I left after hugging Sundiata and the bartender (whose name I didn’t catch) in thanks. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went there for my birthday date night and had an amazing time. This was our second time dining there and each course was delicious! The restaurant itself is so beautiful and perfect for a date night (or even a night out with your friends/family). We made another reservation right after we left! Our new favorite place to go in the valley

The calamari was tender and perfectly seasoned. The duck was crispy and delicious. Both our servers were great especially Caitlin! She was attentive, sweet and made a great cappucino

My family is local. My dad made a reservation here for my birthday 01/17 and in total we were a group of 5. The reservation was at 5pm. The service was the best I've had in the Lehigh Valley and I've been to many a nice restaurant including Three Oak and Top Cuts Steakhouse which also have great service and a great menu. There was no wait to be seated although that could be in part due to the time we arrived. The host was amazing, friendly, and responsive. The waitress was friendly and professional. My dad requested the bartender over a couple of times to our table to go over drink orders and she was extremely knowledge, made great drinks, did not give any indication that she was being inconvenienced if she was being inconvenienced. In total we were there for almost three hours and the service continued to be great even when the rush was picking up. The host made sure to use our names which made our presence feel special. First we received drinks within minutes of sitting down and then appetizers came out not long after. The appetizers tasted great and best of all were light and portioned well enough that we were satisfied but still able to finish our entrees and have desert. We are not a family that usually eats big and but we left nothing on the plates. For appetizers we had the charcuterie board, calamari, and instead of the prosciutto and peach it was pear and peach because they were reserving their peaches for a special dessert, peach cobbler. While my family was still enjoying the appetizers I made a trip to the bathroom. When I came back my partially used napkin was nicely folded on top of the table where I had been seated. I was told this was done by the host. Not only was it unexpected but it clearly demonstrated the restaurant cared about the appearance of each setting. Almost as soon as we were done with the appetizers our food arrived. Used silverware was taken away or replaced with each course so the table stayed clean. We had the grilled lamb rack, beef short ribs, pork chop, crab cake, and rib eye steak. While each ingredient was amazing on its own each ingredient did compliment the full dish and tasted great together. The meats were cooked to our requests and were tender. The waitress was very attentive. The water on the table and drinks in our glasses were refilled regularly before we could even think to ask. We didn't have to lift a finger. When we were done with the dinner the table was cleared and we were given dessert menus placed just slightly askew. Clearly a standard is required and the waitress was well trained and experienced. The deserts were great. We had the smores cake and if you're a chocolate lover you'll be very happy. On top of the great service the glasses and silverware were immaculately clean. No water spots on the glasses or silverware. Access to the building was great for my elderly grandmother. Tables were spaced far enough apart you wouldn't be squeezing through even if you're larger sized. I loved that when the entrees were brought out on the large tray the tray was put on a folding table outside of the immediate dining area and each plate was brought to each diner. The server didn't have to maneuver around a huge tray, tables, or people walking past that may have caused extra noise or potential to drop and knock the food over. I have no notes for this place or complaints. Spectacular! Overall 5 stars I will be back! I highly recommend the bar for locals as well if you want a quick bite, a drink, and to watch a game. My dad and brother enjoyed the bar area.

The best service I have ever received from a restaurant. The host was so warm and welcoming, letting me know on the phone when I called ahead that he has an eye on a spot for me at the bar and when I arrived he had the place set for me. Made me feel so welcomed. He remembered my name when I arrived and when I left saying it was so nice meeting me. The bar tenders were working their butts off and still provided me with great service and a great burger.

Fantastic experience! We went for my wife’s birthday, and we were very pleased with our evening. We were greeted warmly, with an invitation to take a look at all of the rooms from the original mansion that have been restored using the original fixtures. Our service was wonderful, as all of the staff seem committed to providing an exceptional dining experience. Our food was phenomenal! Everyone was happy and pleased with their selections. We highly recommend, and plan on returning to this fantastic restaurant.

Swift at the Wilbur is doing it right. Outstanding hospitality greets you when you enter. The food and wine are excellent and the servers balance warmth with professionalism. The space, filled with intricate hand-carved woodwork, is stunning. We’ve dined at Swift several times with consistently great experiences – it’s a new favorite.

Neat place for special occasion; place is so cool; food good; service fine but expected more on point considering type of place it is. I would recommend and I will go back.

Our lamb and short rib were tasty. Cooked carrots were too hard. Escargot not as flavorful as most I have had (maybe they should take out of shells and soak in herb butter sauce tray). Salad was good with nice dressing and tasty pear. Food seemed under seasoned in general. Potato soup was very plain (also very filling which waitress misled me about a little). Cake was mediocre. Ice cream seasonal flavors were chocolate and vanilla. Serving staff was friendly. Atmosphere was generally nice. There was a loud wedding event, but I guess that happens.

Dinner date night; Phenomenal interior and service. Espresso martini was delicious. Tempura squash pesto appetizer was to die for - our favorite! La Orange Duck was average. Rack of Lamb was pretty good. Although some bites did not taste seasoned well. S’mores dessert was burnt and tasted horrible. Would go back to try the brunch. Hopefully they can get it together. Good potential.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, which they were kind enough to provide champagne and complimentary chocolate cake. The hostess was extremely kind and personable. However the food and service was extremely underwhelming. Our waitress had the whole section and was busting her butt. Caesar salad tasted like nothing. We ordered cocktails and we finished the Caesar salad before our drinks came out after we had to ask about their status. My husbands steak he asked for medium rare it came out almost well done so he sent it back. I ordered the sea bass, which came out HOT which was nice but again was flavorless. I ate it regardless. Creme bruelle was milky and liquidy. Just disappointing for $200+ meal.

I would NEVER recommend this place. I don't know what happened over the past few months but this restaurant (once known as The Wilbur) has gone down hill. When I visited The Wilbur for brunch back in May the experience was beyond wonderful. However, Swift was the complete opposite. We had to wait 45min for a reservation that was made prior, just to have to wait another 1.5hrs to be served cold food. The waitstaff have a lot to learn; even the salt/pepper were in the wrong shakers. I will not be recommending this place to anyone anymore.
