Classic location. This team is consistent. Professional. Proud of their work. What stood out to me was this — you know how some places suddenly turn on the charm when a manager walks by? Funny how that works. Not here. The respect and service were the same across the board. No supervisor hovering, no performance show. Just good people doing their job the right way. That says more than any slogan on the wall. “Samual K” was my point of contact, strong communication, stayed moving, handled things smoothly. You can tell he takes pride in it. I’ll definitely be back

I stopped by there tonight to get my mother a grilled chicken sandwich. Since she is lactose intolerant. I didn't order any cheese on the sandwich, but when I got home and she opened up her sandwich, and it had 2 kinds of cheeses. Also, as I left Whataburge, I pulled out a fry. Although it was hot from the heat lamp, they were soggy. Since I live about 5 miles out of town, I didn't go back to talk to the manager. I was so disappointed for my mother. So all she ate was soggy fries. Good news, I went back the next day and explained their mistake. They made it right. Thank you, WHATABURGE. Still number one in my book.
Went in today did a big order for my company they got it done on the spot in a good timely matter. Staff was great. Manager is running the place great, the owner is lucky to have a person like that to run the business.
This is the second time we ate at this Whataburger and this experience was alot better than the last one. Even though they were very busy the ladies at the counter were nice and friendly. This time our orders were perfect the time before there was a little bit of a mess up on our order but nothing that couldn't be fixed which they did fix it and were nice about it. I think this Whataburger is a good one to go to. I have been to other ones elsewhere that were not so good so when I find a decent one I am pleased.

The food was so good!! We also had a Dr. Pepper shake! I 100% recommend one of those!!! The seating area seemed a bit odd due to a particular table that was full of jackets and random stuff, like it's the hang out area or something.... I am not sure, but the lady at the register was really nice and super easy to talk to! Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back!
Super Great. Great Hot Fresh Food. Onion rings that just melt into your mouth. Consistently Great Friendly service!! Two thumbs up. Don't forget that you can use the app and earn and use loyalty points. Adds up quickly. I definitely use mine and there is a small menu of items you can receive FOR FREE,!!!! My family loves Whataburger, and so does Big Spring, TX. The lines are always long, but the food is always good and fresh and my order us always right. They are friendly and never mind when I add something on at the last minute at the window, which occasionally happens. I do not know what the grilled Chicken Sandwich with Peppers and Mushrooms is called, but it is My hands down favorite item on the menu. They are not cheap, but you can count on a good sandwich, onion rings, fries or a shake etc. I have never eaten Breakfast here, but , I am told good things. Good customer service, good food.
To be an older, smaller Whataburger, this place usually does a great job with the space they've got. My hat is off to the management because the tiny counter and kitchen area has an army of employees that is crammed together like sardines. The Small dining area is usually clean and often crowded with customers who know that the Big Spring Whataburger is a very dependable place to get a good meal whether they are local or just passing through. Many customers have to park on a side street because the parking lot is actually the smallest I've ever seen for one of these stores. With all of these handicaps, this is still one of my favorite fast food places,

I had to write a review of the superb service I received this afternoon. While most fast food restaurants are cutting back on both quality and service; that is not the case with the Big Spring Whataburger. A woman named Stephanie was either the team leader or manager on duty. My God we had a very nice welcome. They were not certain about my wife's order and someone came out and asked to make sure the order was right! Try to get that level of service at McDonalds! I have always found quality food and value at Whataburger. I had to write as the level of customer service was absolutely five stars.

The staff were wonderful. Family from out of town ordered via Door dash late at night and in our small town, no drivers. It resulted in a confusing situation, but the staff sorted it out, and were professional and friendly.
Met a friend of mine as I have a warm fuzzy feeling that ended up being the next afternoon and the only thing is in my eyes, water Burger made my sex pstuner and I a 24 hours of sleep over and never caught not one 💤

We stopped here on our way home from visiting family for the holiday, and it was exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food came out fresh and hot. Overall, a great experience and a perfect stop during our drive.

The guy taking the orders that day was amazing 👏.
Food was good other than fries were a little on the cold side. The service wasn't the best. I watched them set our food on the pick up area and it sat there for around 10-15 mins before the workers decided to stop joking around with each other and give me our food. The wait times are constantly horrible there as well. On average it has taken around 20 minutes sometimes as much as closer to/as long as 45 minutes. That's ordering 2 normal meals.
We aren't from Big Spring but everytime we come for business we come here for breakfast. We always go through drive-thru. Now, I can agree that they do take awhile but doesn't bother us. Food has always been great and accurate. The last time we went you could tell they were new (working the drive-thru). We had to repeat ourselves several times and they still had to fix it at the window but AGAIN, no big deal. It was fixed. The girls were completely apologetic and tried their best. I try not to get worked up over such small things like others. Keep up the good work 🙂

This was my first time eating at Whataburger after hearing from a friend for years that it is really good. The food was a huge portion. The burger was tasty. The apple pie was pretty good. I am rating it 4 stars because the person working the drive-through window shorted me my money. Granted, I should have checked, so I acknowledge that. My change should have been $9 even. He shorted me a $5 bill. I would try it again another time for sure.

Our meal was great,but several people had messed up orders and refunds being made. Lady Employees do not seem to have a place to put their purses and coats as they are taking up a table and in plain sight of customers. One gloved up employee came to her purse took a prescription out pour pill into hand broke it in half then resumed with same gloves on.
Today was the first time in a long time that the service was timely. The person that brought it out was nice. —— I’ve now waited inside for over 30 minutes past the time my online order went through. I’ve watched multiple guest come in and order and receive their food. The drive through has cleared. When I asked about the order they repeated my name back, turned around, and that was that. At 42 minutes passed, the same person came and asked me my name again. The food was just brought to me; I’ve never seen a black receipt but my guess is it was under the heat lamp for an hour. I asked for cups because he didn’t hand them over with the food. He told me “You can get them”. When I let him know there was no more ice, he said “Yup”.
I have had good experiences here, but that has always been during daytime hours. Last night we waited over 45 minutes after ordering to receive our food (onion rings were waiting the warming station pretty much from the beginning though.) Some employees seemed to be very angry with each other, and we’re fussing about coming or not coming into work. The list goes on with what else was not professional. It all seemed very dysfunctional. I recommend going during the day rather than night. (3 stars, because I have had better experiences there in the past. Maybe this was an off day that needs to be addressed with the employees/managers.)
Ordered a breakfast bob, shake coffee and hash browns, we'll the breakfast sandwich was gritty, looked like they cooked it on a dirty grill. Usually whataburger is my favorite, but this time it sucked.

This was my first visit to this . Roneshi was friendly during the ordering process 😃. I noticed my receipt shows $12.49 for the TPL MEAT combo ,but the menu price says $11.49. I'm curious how much they pay for the slice of cheese they charge me .55 cents. I hope Roneshi is vauled here. She's out here cleaning up the tables now. The 🍔 burger was ok little cold, and the fries 🍟 were cold and replaced quickly. They were busy today.

This is by far the worst Whataburger I have ever been to in my life.
A very confused operation. Botched our order not once but three times. First they let the burgers go cold waiting 25 minutes for French fries. Which fast food takes 25 minutes for fries? Then they served one wrong sandwich. Fried chicken instead of grilled. Then they made a grilled chicken sandwich but forgot the bacon. This despite a huge team operating in the restaurant. Most of them seemed to be just standing around looking totally lost. Our dinner took almost one hour. In a fast good restaurant? 😱 This entire team needs to be re-trained and operations optimised.
The chicken sandwich with Buffalo Sauce and Ranch was, for the most part, dry. Fries were warm but fresh. They didn't give me my brownie but charged me for it. The drive-through line takes entirely too long and was not worth the wait.

This location is very reliable, I can count on them to serve me cold food nearly every time, and I can count on the soda, or at least the Dr pepper tasting weird. There is reliably a long wait time. The absolute best time to get a cheeseburger here is about 6 Am. Because they are prepared to serve breakfast and have to make it fresh. I've had some great burgers when I worked the night shift and stopped by after. They do usually get the order correct but it is almost always cold, sometimes actually seemingly chilled. I don't recommend it if it's busy at all. Your food will be made and set because no one coordinates to get to you. Still trash 3 years later. Big spring and whataburger have low standards.

I've been to a lot of Whataburgers and being from Corpus Christi, where it all began, I expect a lot from these locations. Big Spring Whataburger disappoints. I ordered the Double Meat burger. The patties were cold!!! Didn't even melt the cheese!!! Still kinda raw too. Service and atmosphere were good but cold burgers don't do it for me. Fries and onion rings were fresh so that's good.
It was my first time to see all employees were down and not friendly. They are close kin but something happens outside from work that should not bring to work . They need to keep separate and keep their professional and be friendly.

Store was dirty. Was over charged for food because worker didnt know how to ring up the food items the right way, even though she has worked there for awhile but that wasnt her normal shift. I’ve had very bad experiences with them. Everytime we order something for pick up, even if we choose ASAP and the wait time estimated to be 5 - 8 mins, we still arrive and end up waiting for 30-45 mins there. Today wasn’t an exception and it was just an order for 2. Other people came in and got their food while we still waited. We came in and asked for our order. The guy repeated the name’s order and turned around. He didn’t even say anything. After another 20 mins of wait, he came and asked for the name on the order again. This time, thankfully he handed us our food but he didn’t give us the drinks that came with it. He said “You could go get it”. The wait time, the customer service, the attitude, all of that are enough to make me never want to come back again no matter how few choiced we have here in Big Spring.
Worst experience I've ever had in a whataburger franchise. There were like 10 employees in the building, like 6 cars in the drive through, 3 in the lobby and I waited for 47 minutes for a combo. All whilst the manager on duty joked about the previous complaint from a customer in the online order line. This place is definitely a joke, and I could've gotten a better burger at a Chinese restaurant.
Burger patties are always cold. The cheese doesn't even melt. Morning wait times are ridiculous. I wait 20 minutes everytime. They are disorganized. You as a customer can literally see that they don't have fries in the fryer before the employees realize it. Then you wait an extra 10 minutes for fries once your burger is done. Always check your order before leaving. More than once, I've made the mistake of driving 30 minutes back home only to realize they didn't add jalapeños or bacon. Big Spring deserves better.

Waited for soooo long to have my order be completely wrong. Informed the people up front about it and it seemed like the manager could have cared less. And you can't say that they were busy because there was barely anyone here.
Ordered online, waited 20 minutes to pick up inside. Only to be told it’ll be ANOTHER 20-30 minutes for one burger meal. Wish it was only one time, but this seems to be how it runs. And if you order online, they can’t even cancel it in store, you have to call corporate for a refund.
This is by far the absolutely worst location ever. How do yall stay in business, messing up peoples order, giving wrong food out, making customers wait and not acknowledge them. And then blame the problem on an employee that just left and say sorry he don’t speak English good. It wasn’t his fault. He only gave out one order the whole time I was there so stop lying and take accountability and just say that you are a worthless employee that hates their job and don’t care about customers.
I went to this establishment this morning and got two meals with strawberry shakes. They got my food but not the shakes. As I waited I was asked to move to the front to wait for the shakes. After 15+ minutes I go inside and they did not even start the shakes. So when I finally got my shakes my food was ice cold. They could have waited to make the food and get the entire order to me at the same time. I would have waited for it and been good. time is only an issue with the absence of value.
Somehow my burger was not served hot. Fries were not even warm, that's a double bad. When I informed the worker the fries were not hot he just said I'm sorry. What ever happened to good customer service? No offer of any replacement. After looking at the reviews I saw no response from the manager. Obviously this Whataburger has issues that begin at the top and trickle their way down to the customer.
Is it impossible to get meat temperature at health dept standards? A microwave would be better than room temperature and at least melt cheese. It’s sad the last 4 Whataburgers I’ve ate at are the same. No one cares. Food quality is horrible and extremely overpriced for such poor quality food.
This is the absolute worse Whataburger I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. On a road trip headed home 11/26 we purposely looked for a Whataburger to eat at. We found this one on Google Maps. We ordered online 15 minutes before we got there and still waited another 25 before we got our food. It was excuse after excuse. Once we finally got the food, we were missing a shake and a tea. Then we had to wait for the tea to brew. I told one of the 9 workers to swap the tea for a sprite. I was met with disgust and told it "would only be 2 more minutes" and was denied swapping out my drink. Took the food outside to the car (because I had to go in to get it) and was missing the chicken from the chicken basket. No straws, no napkins, no nothing. Saw either 2 team leaders or 2 managers. They were no help. Watched one walk out to her car and go back in. Not a word was said. Saw the other step out if the office, look around and went back in the office. There were 8 cars in the drive thru. It wasn't moving. 4 people eating at tables inside. How do you get so far behind in making burgers when you have that many people working at 2 in the afternoon. Makes no sense. Avoid this Whataburger.
A literal barrage of people waiting in line. Got my food to go with a shake that I was told would come out with my food. Received bag, no shake, wasn't asked if I needed any condiments to go. Waited at the counter for quite some time for the shake and reached to condiment trays on the opposite opening of counter to get my own condiments to go because obviously I was putting them out by asking for what I had ordered. Also what is the deal with Big spring? Does everybody absolutely hate their life that live there?
It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. I’m not a picky person but this whataburger is so unbelievably bad I had to say something. I dined in and the food was room temperature. The staff didn’t know whose order was who’s and the order was all wrong. It’s actually shocking out bad this location is. There has got to be a regional manager that needs to vist this location
Placed an online order, in which was supposed to be ready within 15 mins after I place it. But turns out they had a "2hr wait, and you're luck if you placed your order online" because it would come out sooner than that. I waited 45 mins. The place was a mess, everyone stood around, said they had a new cook, so what, they could had went back there to help him. Customer service was horrible. They all lacked communication skills.
We had came to Big Springs the night before an early morning VA appt. So we got our room and drove down the street to Whataburger. It was terrible. The meat had been burned around the edges, the bread was dry and rubber cold to the point that the cheese was not even melted, I mean refrigerator cold. No mayo, no mustard. No ketchup. The girl that I ask these things from took 5 minutes to come back and pull the ketchup from under the counter and had mustard in a Styrofoam cup. Never said a word just shoved it at me. The floors were filthy and this was 7 pm. The Mamager was there but was oblivious to the situation. Not that many ppl dining in. No reason for any of this. I had a sandwich with toast and the bread had been toasted , I know, the day before and was burned yet COLD. Nope won't ever go back there and when I said something to the night receptionis at the hotel she said she never eats there and that is why. SMH. wake up Big Spring. Don't waste your $$$ on poor quality food and BAD service.
Completely trash service. Waited at the drive through menu for 5 minutes with no answer but static, even when I called out. I pulled ahead, assuming the speakers were broken and I'd be ordering ahead. NOPE. The moment I pull ahead, the car behind me started ordering. Now I'm stuck in a line that moves at 1/5 of the speed as McDonald's, with no way of getting out of the line and certainly zero food coming my way. Ironically, I'm only in this line because the app was as broken as can be. I am highly displeased with this experience. I am wasting gas for no reason better than self torture. Fix yourself, Whataburger, or you'll never get my cash again.
We’re not from around here and had heard only good things about WhataBurger, so our expectations were high. My kids said their burgers tasted like McDonald’s. Mine and my wife’s burgers were completely cold. Not like refrigerator cold, but definitely made previously and sat for at least 30 minutes. The kids burgers were hot. They also forgot one of our fries. Fries were good though, I like the spicy ketchup! Disappointed to say the least…
Sorry but we had a bad experience here. We waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. When we finally got our food and were already on the road we realized our food was so cold it was uneatable. We wasted $25 and had to stop at Sonic down the road. Not sure what was happening that day but I can't imagine it being like this every day or they would be out of business.

The food wasn’t too bad but the restaurant was very dirty! Chairs and Tables were extremely sticky and dirty. Windows hadn’t been cleaned in ages and let’s not start with the floor! Overall the entire restaurant needed a severe deep clean!

It was a horrible experience!!!!!!! Don't even waste your time and money in here. We were passing through town and decided to order since we have always had good experiences at other whataburgers. Well, not in this one. We waited like 15 min in the drive-through and whenever they handed us the food it was cold, and I mean cold. The fries were stale and cold, and tasted like old burned grease. We paid 48 dls for cold hamburgers and waited like 20 min. Won't come back again.
Food was absolute garbage today. Cold stale fries I ordered an extra chicken strip didn’t get it they gave me ranch for idk what reason didn’t ask for it chicken strips were small and dry it was mostly bread no chicken whoever was taking orders/working window was HORRIBLE
** update as of 11/25/25… Order comes out completely wrong. We didn’t say anything because we had to wait longer than 25 mins for the incorrect food we did get. The lady working sighed and rolled her eyes when we asked for the shake they forgot. Other than that people were nice and the bathroom was clean. Ordered online through the app. Entire order was wrong. I didn’t get cheese on any of the burgers that were supposed to have cheese. Ordered an extra gravy didn’t get it. The most bizarre thing was they didn’t label our drinks so the worker smelled my drink to determine if it was a diet or regular coke? It looked like there was a lot of workers so I’m wondering how it could possibly be so bad.
Everytime I order a burger there, they either forget cheese or any other kind of topping I add, I do not recommend if you don't like your order being messed up.
We waited 3 minutes for someone to even ask us our order when there were no other customers in line, our fries were cold, and I asked for no mustard so they put mayonnaise on my burger without asking. The person who we ordered from had an attitude and all that combined is why the rating is so low. Customer service is a big thing with places like these and there customer service is the worst I’ve seen.
Big Spring, TX: Often order at night both online and in person, as working graveyard shift. Each time i swear never again. Buns are CONSISTENTLY hard and stale. Food is CONSISTENTLY cold. Order has at least one error nine times out of ten. Oh and oonline orders cannot be corrected; was told, "you have to do it with the app." After a run of order errors, asked if everything in the bag was correct and employee replied, "you're welcome to check" and closed the window. really disheartening. Food is great during the day.
The food took a while to arrive, and at the time, we were the only people inside the restaurant. I was hoping it would be hot and fresh, but it was not. They were clearly overstaffed, with multiple workers standing around while the building and tables were filthy. One of the managers or team leads also brought their children to work. The children were loud and rowdy and used profane language constantly. Two of them didn't even have shoes on and kept running in and out of the establishment while it was raining outside.
Waited 20 mins at curb side seen 3 customers get their food before is even after getting there after is then forgot some of our order after we had to stop someone then go inside to find them never again
Absolutely the worst whataburger I have ever been at ...waited for 39 minutes in the drive through , only 3 cars in front of me .food was cold and I received the wrong sandwich. Who ever is managing this place should be ashamed and unemployed...

Oof what a rough location! We pulled in to order asked the man taking orders to hold a second as we have 4 people we are ordering for. The man taking orders kept rushing us all and wed only been at the screen to order for 2 mins. Everytime we tried to order something he kept interrupting us. We finally push through the order and get to the window for Ian to be completely rude And disrespectful. He hands us the completely wrong order then gets mad when we tell him it isn't our order. He coped major attitude. Beyond disgusted with this location. We had to park and wait over 10 minutes for our order. This place needs major changes.
There’s 4 to 5 workers no line but we still waited a long time. Never will we come back to that store.
Ordered 4 cheeseburgers for take-out. All 4 burgers were cold enough it never even melted the cheese. When notified all I got was a sorry.
Been in drive for over an hour and a half and still haven't gotten my food .. pretty sure it will be cold again
How do I start....food SUCKED...service SUCKED..when you allergic to Onions and you tell them NO ONIONS..that's usually what I mean. No Onions. After everything including paying almost 50 bucks for food they said BBQ Sauce cost extra. Why is it so hard to get any decent food in this town...no one cares.
Tiniest most expensive taquitos we’ve ever had at any whataburger. What a freakin rip off. So usually potato sticks are stacked end to end but these were stacked side by side with little to no egg. Skip this location and go to one in another city…you’ll be pleasantly surprised how much bigger the taquitos are.
Staff was polite though highly unorganized contributing to the 25min for our food which turns out was sitting on the counter for the majority of that time with us standing not 20ft away from the counter just waiting. Floors and one corner table were unkempt, area otherwise clean and tables wiped down. Wait time not exaggerated: ordered at 2248, food at 2213.
Horrible experience from a whataburger. First off no salad. I thought ok no problem. Then they can’t get the order right. 2 Patties, 3 bacon and cheese. I had to go ask for my cheese and I guess the person in the back can’t count the bacon. When I asked for cheese the lady bluntly said it’s not here job. We asked for no pickles well guess what we got pickles. They were on their phones the entire time we were there and the bad part management was there. Rude! Rude! Rude!
