After pulling into drive thru and waiting to advance, questioning whether they were even open, moving up because guest in front was frustrated and left I began placing my order to be told hold on in the middle of me speaking. Finish my order pull to windows. Guy takes my card and punches it in SEVERAL TIMES... (watching the account) never said anything about why but had my card for a solid 10 minutes walking around doing all kinds of things. Brought my card and a receipt back shoved it through windows at me while looking other direction. Guy was definitely on something. Waiting what seemed to be an eternity at this point for finally an elderly man brought my bag of food. We got the burritos which were OK. Tots were warm at best. Hard and unsalted. O.J. was warm now as well after waiting soooo long.

This has to be one of the worst franchise locations I have ever been to. They are always out of ingredients and half the time cannot complete your order. The staff here are either incompetent and can't efficiently complete their required job duties or have absolutely no regard for the their customers time or convenience, the wait time here to receive you our order is ridiculous and sometimes reaches up to and excess of 25 min. Horrible experience.

Sorry to say that the patty melt looked as if it had been sitting forever. The onion rings were totally burnt I brought everything back for a refund, the manager at that time so she just came on the floor and she would be making the order for free and up-size it, but I was just too afraid to take that chance. For one, no one answered at the drive thru for 10 minutes. We drove forward to see the employees crouched down as you can see in the first photo, still no help. Another guy finally comes and asks us what we want, while waiting for our order to be processed one guy couldn’t seem to stop scratching his head. Oh and this was the guy handling people’s food. Thirdly, the M&Ms in my blast were not mixed in at all. They were simply put on top with nothing but ice cream under it as they have been our last 5 visits. Will not be back and wouldn’t recommend. Nasty.

This place was an overall terrible experience. Me and my mother went to Sonic recently and the service was terrible. The drinks we ordered were not the right size nor the actual type of drink we ordered. We had ordered two hot dogs with cheese,pickles,ketchup,and mustard. Nothing was extraordinary about our order, and one of the hot dogs we have no complaints about. The other hot dog we had ordered had stale, and hard/uneditable. We had to wait and ended up overpaying. We still were not satisfied, even though we are not picky whatsoever. Would not recommend.

I know things have changed due to COVID, but each customer needs to be treated correctly and get what they paid for no matter what. I stopped by Sonic on Valley Ave on my way out of town Saturday 9/11 around noon to grab lunch. When I got ready to eat my sandwich, this is what I got. (See attached photos) A cold sandwich….REALLY Sonic staff (would you want to eat a cold sandwich that supposed to be warm???? It wasn’t lukewarm. The cheese it proof that the sandwich was cold. No matter how long the line is, no matter how busy you are, you will be blessed for doing your job right, but lose it and possible cause the store to go out of business and everyone will be out of a job if YOU FAIL TO DO YOUR JOB RIGHT. I don’t have money to throw away because of you. I didn’t even get a straw. I tipped the waiter and he said he was bringing me a straw and never came back 😳

Had to rip open my grilled cheese to try and figure out what all of this brown stuff is in my cheese kind of looked like thin slices of steak or a whole bunch of gunk from the grill. I also waited in a bay for like 10 min with no answer so went through the drive through.

Just left here I was treated the worst I would say the absolute worst customer service was awful there's a white young lady she has the worst attitude I was there around 5:35 p.m. today everyone in there has a nasty attitude I hope I never have to come back

Wish I can put 0 star cause this is the worst Sonic joint in Homewood and of all in Alabama , worst customer service, and yet worst delivery experience, especially for a kind DoorDash customer who was going to pay well after the delivery was completed … Came thru the drive through to pick up a DoorDash delivery waiting for 5 minutes just for an employee to tell me I have to come inside with a smart attitude. After entering the lobby, I stood there for a good 15 minutes and everyone pretended as if I wasn’t there waiting… and not to mention the disgusting atmosphere in there too… I’d say just pack it up and abandon the property for the dwellers to nest in at this point

They made us wait for over 10 min after we placed our order when there was no body else there. I finally Got up and went inside and it was just sitting there waiting for our food and it was cold. The head guy complained that he was the only one delivering orders, but there were plenty of workers there, and my wife said the same guy was talking to somebody at their car for over 5 min. When we got home our order was wrong. And we were overcharged.

Ordered a Oreo milkshake tonight. I basically got a freaking sorry excuse of a Oreo sundae in an 20oz cup. There were only a few Oreo crumbs sprinkled on top. When ordering a milkshake I expect the topping to be blended in but there was nothing blended in this “milkshake”. Disappointed that the person that made this thought it was acceptable to send it out knowing they didn’t blend it. Didn’t want to take it back after pulling off because you never know if someone will tapper with your food. So now I’m going to get a pack of Oreo cookies from the gas station to add to this cup of vanilla ice cream I just paid freaking milkshake prices for…SMH!!!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I ordered two small strawberry sundaes. I forgot my debit card. I proceed to order on the App and pull around. It was taking longer than usual. I saw one worker outside. I politely yelled, “excuse me”, to get the workers attention to ask about the sundaes. She gets an attitude and tells me she’s not a “ car hop”. I told her I did not know that, I was just looking at the sonics sweatshirt! She still gets an attitude for asking how long it will be for TWO SUNDAES! I hate this location! Always have so many problems! Get better management in there immediately! Will never return back to this location if my life depended on it!

Philly meat was dry and my tater tots were cold. I had it at the Valley Avenue store the day before and it excellent.

Did a mobile order. It started to rain hard so I was understanding at first. Then I saw 3 people step outside for a cigarette. After 30 minutes of waiting I pulled up to the drive thru and told them I had been waiting for a while and no one ever came out. This was their fault and they didn’t even offer to re-make my floats. They were melted. No “I’m sorry” no refund no nothing. Day shift is great. Night shift is trash.

Just picked up 20$ worth of food and the whole thing is wrong. I’m allergic to the food they did give me. Now I’m at work with no dinner. Didn’t pick up when we called twice.

Sonic in Homewood Where the Ice Melts Faster Than Their Customer Service” Pulled up yesterday with my man to get a big lemonade slush it was hot as hell, we just wanted a cool moment. But y’all made it feel like we pulled up to attitude alley with a side of chaos. Barely any lanes open Staff clearly couldn’t hear on the speaker And when they did respond, it was with full attitude and zero clarity (Yes, I asked for a large lemonade slush with strawberry syrup at the bottom and a touch of cranberry why is that hard?) The vibe was nasty, the wait was disrespectful, and the energy was giving “we don’t even wanna be here.” Okay but why are you making it everyone else’s problem? Oh and let’s talk about them street walkers. 👣 I’m all for helping folks get work, but if you gon’ have random folks sitting around cutting down boxes put them in uniform and train them, please. This ain’t “hood UberEats,” this is a whole Sonic. 🙄 🍧 It’s hot. Life hard. All we wanted was a SLUSH. Why are y’all acting like we asked for Beyoncé on ice? If customer service is too much, say that. If hearing is hard, invest in new tech. If y’all tired, I get it but at least act like customers matter. Because that lil cup of crushed ice and syrup y’all fumbled? It just cost y’all a review you’ll never forget.

Just got the nastiest looking milkshake I have ever seen before at this SONIC. I decided to take advantage of the 1/2 price milkshake offer, but unfortunately this is what I got. SONIC would have had to pay me just to attempt to drink whatever this is that I received. I had to wait a while for my order, and the workers seemed to have little desire to serve customers. I will have to remember to never come back to this SONIC location, and I would recommend others to check out other places instead. However, if nasty food and horrible service are your favorite things, I would advise you to come to this SONIC.
