Such a great place to stop by and grab a bite. Wife and I had the best time here! Food was great, and the service was superb! Met the Owner and his family, and they are such a great group of people! Will definitely come back! 10/10 would recommend!

This is a really good family run restaurant. The crab enchiladas are the real deal, full mouthfuls of crab in every bite. Service was quick, food arrived quicker. Prices are reasonable, especially for this area. Busy place and definitely worth many visits.

Had to give this hidden gem a review, so good! If you're looking for a mission burrito I could see some people being disappointed. Seems the reviews are hit and miss, for our early dinner stop it was a hit. The salsa is something else! I have never had better and was delighted to find out they had made enough to sell me some to take home. I had the fish tacos which were excellent and served on a pickled cabbage and jalepeno slaw. The fish was perfect, not greasy, perfectly fried crispy batter served with a green rice and black beans. I ate every bite. My mom had tamale and the chicken tortilla soup which she said was also delicious. I will definitely be back on my next drive to Bodega bay.

This is a local family friendly spot. Situated right off the main road, the sign welcomes those who just come upon it. On a Sunday around noon if was busling. The service was good and the food came quickly. We were served chips and salsas right away. The taco bowl was freshly crisped and the super burrito was large with sauce all over it

Absolutely the most delicious shrimp burrito ever! And HUGE! I was hungry, but I could not possibly eat it all. The atmosphere is W obderful, too, and Mexican baile plays in the background. The folks are super friendly and the food took the right amount of time to prepare. My shrimp burrito was made by hand on the spot. You just cannot get any better!

We stopped here for dinner one night, and it was a pretty relaxing vibe. Most of us were happy with our dishes (my mom thought the taco salad was just okay), and the server was friendly. It was my first time trying fish tacos, and they were delicious! They were the best dish I've had this entire trip.

Loves Traveling

Stopped in for a late lunch on our long coastal drive and really enjoyed our guacamole, chips, tacos and beer. The service was excellent - friendly and fast. The food was very good. The restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean.

This is what we needed after spending the morning/afternoon at the beach! My family and I were looking for a place to eat that would fill us up and sure enough La Bodeguita DELIVERED! The super burrito was in fact a super burrito. Carne asada was good. My wife had the Chipotle Burrito with Carnitas and she enjoyed it very much! My son had a Carnitas Torta and everyone walked out satisfied! To top it off, the service was excellent! I appreciated the hustle from everyone working there!! When I’m Bodega Bay, go to La Bodeguita!

Pros: service was fast, the guacamole was in my opinion good lots of onion and tomato ( the way I like it), water tasted good, salsa was good as well, atmosphere was very nice. Cons: the vegetarian burrito was sub-par at best mostly lettuce and not too much flavor, was expecting better quality over all for the price.

I am Mexican. Food was ok. Size of burrito for $23 was small and empty of meat it was suppose to have beef and chicken. Mostly tortilla. It needed more flavor. Service was by the waitress. We asked for medium well and they gave it med rare. Asked for black beans in burrito and got peruano beans that’s the kitchen not her fault. Prices are about 5 to 7 bucks above average for the same food somewhere else. I bet they get charged a lot for the spot so no complain there. Just wished the food was better and review would have been different. ( wife loved it lol she is Colombian)

We camped at the RV park behind this restaurant and at the spur-of-the-moment laziness attack, we decided not to cook and just walk over to this joint. Now, my friends had been to this place previously, but this was my first. I wasn't all that hungry, but once the food arrived, my buddy had the mole' dish, his wife the wet burrito and I the meat quesadilla, all were good. I consider myself a competent judge of (Anglo) Mexican cuisine living in San Francisco as we have a ton of very competitive south of the border eateries of various levels and this place can hold its own against the city-folks. My only criticism is their price, they charge beyond their pay grade, but then again, they're one of the only game in town which has very few players. So, I give them three-points as this place doesn't quite agree with me in terms of food/price value. The food is very good, but it comes at a steeper price than it should. P.S. My buddy's beef mole' came with a lot of great sauce, but to harken back to the 90's, "where's the beef?"

Wasn’t impressed. The prices are crazy high for the quality of the food. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and I’m pretty sure it was chicken that they just heated up from days ago. The cheese tasted off. Wasn’t my favorite dining experience.

It pains me to give any kind of negative reviews but I think it's important for establishments to receive the truth to help them run their restaurants. We ordered chicken flautas also known as taquitos and we're surprised that they were made out of flour tortillas instead of corn, the filling lacked any freshness and they came out with grill mark like impressions as if they were pressed onto a grill or griddle pan. If you're going to stray from the traditional at least let people know on the menu that they're made out of flour tortillas. Most people will expect them to be made out of corn tortillas. I ordered the salmon tacos which for a sort taco with corn tortillas you should always make them with two tortillas so they don't get soggy and fall apart, especially when they are filled with sauteed onions and peppers which didn't pair as well as a nice light and crunchy slaw would have. The black beans tasted like they were simply simmered in a pot of water without any flavor whatsoever, and the Mexican rice was dry and bland and tasted like cumin which I didn't expect or care for. The chips and salsa were fine except that the salsa's came in those small black condiment bowls normally use for ketchup or tartar sauce so you couldn't fit a chip in there unless you broke it into small pieces. The clam chowder was thin and watery and I didn't care for the flavor. This less than average meal ended up costing us a little more than $100.00 not including the tip which I reluctantly added 15%. Out of all the restaurants we ate at on our Bodega Bay vacation this was the only one that was a definite no. Hopefully this restaurant can improve in the future I wish them all the best.

I had high hopes for the location but the food was bland, very little flavor. I did like the salsa that came with the chips. It was something different. The server was very nice but he had the entire dinning room by himself. I counted at least three tables waving across the room trying to get his attention to order.
