Omg this Whataburger is clean and can push food out fast with a good amount of people inside. Food was hot and fresh. This right here is how Whataburger should be! Employees (short Hispanic lady@register) were very friendly down to the kid who brought our food to the table. Bathrooms were very clean as well. Other Whataburger locations should take pointers from this Whataburger, especially the South Padre Island Texas location.

I have never had a bad experience here. Every time we come it is clean the staff are friendly and its always fast. They almost never mess up our order. I recommend the honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich its my favorite. If you feel like it the cinnamon roll is delicious.

Had a burger, onion rings, and shake, and they were all great. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were mopping the floor as we entered, so cleaning was clearly a priority Only complaint is that it's slightly awkward to get to, but that's on the state highway engineers, not Whataburger.

I frequently come to this whataburger whenever I’m feeling lazy and need a quick meal and I’m a delivery driver for Uber Eats. This Whataburger is amazing! This morning I came and got an order of pancakes, I had my dog with me in my car as per usual. When I got home and opened my order I saw that they made 3 little extra mini pancakes for my dog!!! That was the sweetest and most heartwarming thing! My dog surely appreciated it too! Thank you to whoever did that!!! 🩷

Went in to get the building your on Whataburger box, came with 10 double meat cheese burgers with all the sides so the work crew can make the burgers how they wanted it. Was far price to considering it fed all the guys I work with.Added large fries also, came out to a little over a $100. Fast service on short notice.

Dakota is one in a million. He reminds me of myself taking orders outside at Chick-fil-A. The dude is hustling and bustling with a large smile on his face. I watched him help not only the people in front of me but behind me with the whole slew of issues. I hope to see him as a manager when I come back.

This location was fast! We came in during a busy time and was prepared for a wait. My husband was in the process of filling our drinks when the food arrived, the fries were cooked perfectly, not undercooked like some whataburgers do when busy.

Line was LONG for lunch on Sunday waited the anticipated time to order, food being prepared anf obtainig order. Once leaving i noticed i was missing an iten but it looked like it was due to the nice cashier getting confused so i called and to speak a manager, I spoke to Jorge the Manager i felt like i wad speaking with him in person as he was very attentive and personable. Nestless to say after hanging up my reservations about ever going back were put to rest. Wonderful customer service, will be back for sure.

Delicious chili burger. But not happy because they didn't let me use my invoice for my rewards. They told me I did not ask before ordering. I did not do it, that's true but they should let frequent customers know about that and also make it easier to load new purchases in the app for rewards 😡

Food is good—well, it’s fast food, but when you’re in the mood for Whataburger, the Boerne location never disappoints. The orders are usually spot on, and everything comes out hot and fresh. What really makes this location stand out is the drive-thru experience with Stacy. She’s the best—always friendly, easy to understand, and adds a touch of humor that makes the whole interaction feel more fun and personal. You can tell she enjoys what she does, and it makes a difference. If you're craving Whataburger and want great service to go with it, this is the spot. And if Stacy's on the mic, even better!

The food was delicious as always, they had a long wait which surprised me but it was early in the morning. My honey butter chicken biscuit was missing, but I went inside and they replaced it immediately. They were very kind and professional, and apologized for the wait. I only gave it 4 stars because it took 10-15 minutes after I pulled up to the payment window to get my food (I had 1 other car in front of me).

Went through the drive-thru about 1am to get a quick bite to eat while our dog was getting porcupine quills removed at the emergency vet nearby. Order was out quickly and was filled perfectly with no issues. I was able to get back to vet quickly and we finished our food just in time.

I am a Texan, born and bred, so Whataburger is a part of my heritage. There is no such thing as a “bad” Whataburger. That said, there are restaurants that are better than others because they are consistent ALL the time. Like the sign says: 24/7 (I see you Nacogdoches store). But others, meh. It’s hit or miss depending on the time of day. This particular store is one I frequent. Given what I do for a living, I’m hitting it up between 9p and midnight a couple times a month. This is the sweet spot for this restaurant and about the only time it’s damn tasty. Any time I visit earlier than 9p, I’m almost always disappointed. I will say this: the kids who work there are ALWAYS polite and willing to engage in conversation, their tea is always fresh, and their bathrooms are always clean. I’ll keep coming to this particular location because Whataburger is a Texas icon and damn good, but only late at night when I can count on it being the burger I know: “What A Burger!”

It seems like there are no fast food restaurants that don't mess up the order and this visit was no exception. A very simple cheeseburger, onions rings and a soda can't even be delivered correctly. The burger had no cheese yet I sure paid for cheese. I know that it's just an entry level fast food job, but it’s still worthy of showing a little pride in job performance. It is expensive to eat out so it's very frustrating that there is always at least one person's order that is wrong.

I did a curbside order for breakfast. I got 2 breakfast items that were correct but the 2 burgers meals I got were not correct. One burger didn't have cheese like it should and the other one was a jalapeno cheeseburger missing the jalapenos 😔 Needless to say, this was disappointing and I didn't have time to have them fix it. The lady that brought our order out went to the driver's side and stood there with bags in hand even though there was clearly no one in the driver's seat to take it from her. This left me leaning over the center console to roll the window down. Smh. Could have been a better experience

Come here several times a week. Morning crew has a very lackadaisical attitude. Usually wait 3 to 4 minutes to be recognized. Manager even caught my eye and kept on putting stock up in the back. He finally came up and took order. Another customer had a similar experience. Bathroom looks like it was cleaned, but whoever did it through there rubber goves on the floor instead of the trash. That and a sloppy staff makes me concerned about food safety.

Every time "John" is order taking through drive thru. He sounds extremely stressed out and complains of his "numerous roles" he is filling at one time. Despite me very politely explaining the wait was no issue, he continued to be quite sassy/snarky for no reason. I don't appreciate when he takes my order. He needs a better attitude. Management, please advise this young man on attitude. Good luck John.

Going through the drive thru at 2am for a burger, fries, and drink took like 20 minutes with 3 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't call it freshly made either, which was my thought of why it was taking a while. It wasn't old food, though. It was just alright. Patty seemed a bit old, fries were kinda fresh, but they did put a good amount of fresh veggies on, which i personally appreciate. The tomatoes were crispy, and lettuce was crunchy, adding nice texture and flavor to the burger. However, it couldn't mask the older-tasting meats. The wait wasn't worth the food, and although the food wasn't the best, it filled my stomach. Mediocre experience this time.

I often go here and I am very frustrated with my experience recently. Not only was my curbside order forgotten about, but I was ignored when I tried to ask about it. After almost 30 minutes I'd had enough waiting and went to ask about my order. Then when I finally was able to talk to one of the people working the front counter, it seemed like they didnt even care. No apology or anything. My food had been left with door dashs to go orders. I watched as the other parked cars got their orders and was very frustrated. Nobody seemed to care. I usually dont post negatively but I am frustrated at this experience.

I love eating there. I like Whataburger. But every time I go in there you wait probably anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes before anybody takes your order at the front. They're still nice when they do don't get me wrong. My biggest aggravation is the last half dozen times I've been in there the unsweet tea is always empty. Did I bring it to somebody's attention and they always say well we're getting some out of the back and then it's another 10 minutes maybe longer that they finally get some out. Now they will go to the back and fill your cup up if you need it. Slight inconveniences but enough to make it aggravating.

Not on their game. The chili cheese fries had no cheese, the fries were stale and they laid the tray sideways on its end so it all balled up in in the tray. My sweet tea was not sweet. Everyone was very nice but come on, someone needs to do some quality control.

I have no idea what takes so long to get your food here and the rest of the Whataburgers. The only way to get quick service here is to place your order on the mobile app well before arriving. We sat for 13 mins. after placing our order at the drive-thru. Food is just alright. There are much better options. And for the record, it is not a better burger than In-and-Out, the problem is, there is no In-and-Out.

Made a Mobil order Friday night at 9:30. Ordered 15 minutes before I got there because needed to pick up and go with sleeping kids in car on a long trip. Had to wait another 15 minutes to get food. Staff was nice but very apparent they are understaffed. Frustrating to wait that long when you make a Mobil order to avoid this exact thing.

I’ve been here a few times, the food has been mostly ok although the fries are always limp and undercooked. They’ve also forgotten several items in my order. Last time I went there the chicken strips had uncooked areas that were bloody. Not going back for a while, or maybe ever.

An employee here, Angie, is consistently rude and hostile towards customers. A few months ago, I ordered food here in the morning for carryout and sat down in the waiting booth. She saw me after I ordered with a different cashier, and then assumed I was waiting for the bus and threatened to kick me out. I am a paying customer, and am nowhere near that age (I attend college next year). What made me decide to post this review was that this morning, the same Angie blew up and screamed at another employee for coffee or something, and it didn't even seem like it was that employee's fault. She was also extremely rude to customers and was downright hostile.

I've been to this location many times but tonight was the last straw. They get my order wrong more times than they get it right. Tonight I ordered a cobb salad & it didn't have the bacon or the cheese & they definitely jipped me on the chicken & the container wasn't even filled the way it is at every other location. Not to mention their parking lot is in such an inconvenient place. I am so done with this location for many reasons. Don't go here unless you want to fight traffic getting in & out, only for your order to be wrong & to be slighted on the portions. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Forgot my extra toast, forgot my gravy, food was stale as can be the chicken strips had been sitting all day probably smaller than normal looked like nuggets paid extra for one strip extra but felt like I got served 4 chicken nuggets.They did give the missing stuff because I noticed before leaving but I would do been one mad patron once I got home. The restaurant was busy when we got there, 6: 10 pm. An order was placed and given a number for a to-go order. We sat at the seats in front of the register. We were patiently waiting for an extended period of time as they were still busy with what appeared to be large orders. After 30 minutes of waiting we finally went to the register to check on our order. After two minutes of waiting for a response we were told they don't have an order for us and they may have given it to someone else. Wow, waited 30 minutes and nothing. We were refunded by manager.

You know it's not even 8:30 in the morning and this floor in this restaurant is greasy as can be. I also overheard the manager John quasi threaten a employee for doing their job for helping a customer. A Customer walks up, old man to the front counter nobody's there He waits and waits and then finally an employee who's walking in for their shift attempts to help him only to be told that they can lose their job for doing so. I asked John if I heard him correctly he said yes I said well I believe that to be a inproper way to handle that. you should look at the bigger picture of why this employee is having to help a customer when they're walking in for their shift? where are the other employees? You know the one standing around, you know the five or six of them right now. But no John wants to debate with me and tell me that he's correct and that he can tell his employee she can be fired for helping a customer and I told him that is incorrect and you shouldn't treat people that way especially when they're trying to do their job. That's kind of splitting hairs. We want as management our employees to do their job well and when they do their job well we shouldn't be chastising them for doing that job whether they're on the clock or not. your job as a manager is to update the information in the system to reflect the time they were working. John needs to go back and learn some personal skills on how to address customers and how to work with his employees in a better fashion. And John also needs to learn to look around the restaurant plenty of things to get your employees to do then threaten them for working with their job.

I waited over 30 minutes for my food. They served two dozen people while I waited for my food. I think I will go to the many other options as this place always keeps me waiting for a long time while others get served quickly. And I ordered on the app but for some reason it always takes such long time to make it. I never waited at any other Whataburger this long or at any other fast food place. In general it's first come first serve but at this location I always will be served after dozens of other people that ordered after me.

Order online for drive through for 1040-1045 told to wait in line. 15+ mins later I get food. What was the point of ordering a head of time if I have to still wait?? Don't come at night unless you want to wait 20+ mins for food.

Grilled chicken on cobb salad looked and tasted like boiled chicken covered in oil and cheese. Horrible flavor. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Double burger had hardly any toppings. We travel constantly, and Whataburger is now a no-go.

This whataburger has to be the absolute slowest in the state. Every time I come to this location, we wait at least 30 minutes to get our food with literally 2-3 people in line. If you are in a hurry or passing through and want to stop, be prepared to loose 30-45 minutes of your life you’ll never get back!!

A 20 minute wait for a crappy $12 chicken sandwich. Almost impossible to take a bite without the chicken sliding out of the bun. So much sauce that the bread essentially disintegrated before I could finish and ended up eating the chicken by itself. What a mess. It was 5pm and a busy time but come on guys, give some thought to the end product. Very disappointing.

Our order took very long they came back out with a cup and two bracelets. They said that they’re giving this to us because they took so long and they give it to us for a lettuce, tomato pepper, olive mustard burger when I ordered a cheeseburger

2 weeks in a row I ordered delivery and 2 weeks in a row I didn't get my pie. They would not bring it out to me. They could take my money but no can't deliver my pie. I am elderly. That's why I can't go get it and I shouldn't have to. Not to mention the manager hung up on me. 2 weeks in a row they can bring your order but 2 weeks in a row they can't bring me my pies. I will not ever eat food from there again I will tell every one about their management. I reported to corporate.

I just went through the drive-thru and the kid that was in the drive-thru was super super rude. I didn’t bother to order anything since he wanted to go back and forth on how I wanted my burger then claims he couldn’t hear me Will not be back there again.

This is the only whataburger ive been to where they ALWAYS forget something. Today I had to go back after picking up my food because they were missing our cookies that we paid for, just for me to get home and realize they forgot 1 out of 4 burgers. They just hire anyone here 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Today I ordered on the mobile app for a curbside pickup at 6:40 pm. I had to go in to check on my order and finally got my order at 7:55 pm. The front counter person was super apologetic and did her best to get peoples orders out but it seemed like she had no help. This unfortunately is not the only issues I have had here. I have had to wait long and more often then not, my orders are wrong on previous orders. I will not be returning to this Whataburger and I do not recommend anyone else go.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant in the chain. Ordered through the app arrived and was given the drink from the order. I was told "they are working on your food now." This is the same thing I was told for the next 20 minutes. Other customers came in and ordered at the counter, received their food, ate and left. At 25 minutes I gave up because I had to go. I asked for a refund for food I still had not received and was told again they were working on it. The manager came over and said he couldn't give me a refund because it was paid for through the app. He first tried to claim it was my fault because I hadn't checked in when I got to the restaurant, seriously, then how did I get my drink? When he didn't ask me my for my name and contact info I knew getting a refund was going to be an ordeal. I provided my name and number even though he didn't ask. Three calls and an email to customer care and I am still waiting for my refund. Unfortunately this poor service is typical for this location. Trash cans overflowing, filthy floors and the inability to provide accurate orders are also commonplace at this location. There are a couple of employees working at this location that actually seem to care but you would be better off skipping this location or eat elsewhere all together.

Nothing at all wrong with the food but the customer service specifically from one of the MANAGERS “John Castillo” is absolutely horrendous. I’ve worked and managed in the fast food industry for years on end and I know how and how not to treat customers. Cutting your customers off as their ordering, speaking very crude and disrespectful towards them, just not giving a single damn about the customer acting like we’re inconveniencing him for making him do his job. I was the only single car in the drive through by the way. This man has no business being in a management position, I feel horrible for the poor employees that work under him.

I don’t recommend this at all, even though it’s fast food when we pulled in. We had a long wait for our food when we received our hamburgers. They were greasy very messy. The meat seemed not to be cooked fully through not only that but we ordered a onion rings and they forgot them then we had to go back in line was saving grace was at the person that took our order came out to our car and actually handed them to us and apologize so I did appreciate that but I will never come back.

I got food here tonight and the fries were completely undercooked. They were white, very greasy and cold. The burger was a soggy mess. The soggy bun weighed more than the burger patty did. It’s like they dumped the lettuce onto the bun from a bowl of water. I don’t trust this place, the food went in the trash. This town desperately needs more decent fast food options.

Girl in drive thru taking orders on 10/31/25 at 2pm was very rude and short. Girl walking orders was polite but when I mentioned the sodas were flat the only response was “sorry about that, have a good day”. Did not ask if she could get us something else instead, just walked on. Either staff was not trained properly or they do not value their jobs whatsoever

Will never return to this location. Sat in drive thru for 45 mins in the outside lane while they served five different cars that came after me. I paid $42 dollars and wasted an hour of my time for cold food and a melted milkshake that was inedible. They should serve their cars in order of arrival. There was one guy serving our lane while they had a whole staff on people at the window in the inside lane. Horrendous customer service

Seems like there’s an issue to address. After reading multiple reviews over a “John Castillo” supposed to be a manager, He’s very rude, maybe an updated training is due, even for ‘managers’ Feel bad for the employees working in that hostile environment. I’ve had only bad experiences with this manager, when the other employees have worked, it’s been fine. Only issues from the ‘manager’, odd how that works.

Customer service definitely needs some work. It wasn’t even busy and was treated poorly. Not even a thank you when given my food. I asked if their was ketchup in the bag before leaving and all he said was “yeah” and while ordering, the young lady was rude and acted as if she hated her job. Which I understand but c’mon. Managers should be present or something because it ruins someone’s night having rude workers.

We went to our local wataburger for a meal. The person in the register, (jen, or jennifer) gave us bad stares, and did not attend us well. As soon ass we entered, the stares began, Spanish is not a unknown language for her to be looking at us like that, we handed her a 50 and told us if we had a smaller bill, but we only have big bills, and she got mad, she acted all nice to the person behind us and changed her mood. As soon as we got our food we immediately left this place and the place was all good but she is the problem. I just know that even if you fire her she will get another job elsewhere. Bad day for her I guess but she took it out on US. She has pink hair and has the face of a person with no friends.

Ah, Whataburger—the place where fast food becomes an adventure in patience and persistence. My boyfriend and I have visited this location four times now, and each time they’ve managed to make ordering a burger feel like a high-stakes gamble. Take his usual order, for example: no mustard, Texas toast, pretty straightforward, right? Not for Whataburger. Somehow, we end up with mustard every time and the “Texas toast” as a standard, unremarkable bun. But the real pièce de résistance was my recent Blaze Burger. They might as well have called it the “Biohazard Burger,” because it was served raw. I’m still baffled as to how they manage to undercook a patty that thin. And for good measure, they added a chunk of cold, unmelted cheese and a huge gob of ice, cold cream cheese, as if that would somehow improve things. Not to mention, the bread was as stale as last week’s newspaper. And don’t even get me started on the fries. Cold, stale, and consistently tasting like they’ve been hanging out on the counter all day. If you’re someone who enjoys long lines and waiting, this is your place! Just don’t expect “fast” food—it’s really just food, served at a leisurely pace, with a side of disappointment.
